If big pharm watched companies like cbis (-88 million in the hole w nothing to show for it) they wouldnt be big pharm- lets get serious
There are a bunch but the one that got me was the a&e special acouple yrs ago (i think). Definitely whipped up by Dabney- hes a convicted criminal
Haha about right
I think you need to look up the definition of cure- treat perhaps, cure no.
What about those who cannot grow weed- well simple- come to colorado and there is a store on every block. There are clone stores, grow supply stores and dispensaries. Come Jan1st- its legal, 136 applicants have been filed in the city of denver for retail stores. Any of these CBIS- nope.
But wait- your argument is CBIS is different, they are doing it "on the straight and narrow." Really, their 10q shows them owning a website called GGECO which is an online college teaching people how to grow and handle cannabis flowers. In 2009 they tried to enter an agreement with Rockbrook Inc- to be part owners of a what? a dispensary. But that fell thru bc of laws not allowing nonresidents to own one, so what did they do- well in 2012 they tried again. This time with Apothecary Genetics Investments LLC, to work on distributing certain strains, and again in 2012 entered an agreement with Dupetit Natural Products to sell cannabis based products. Sooooo- how exactly is this doing it "straight and narrow."
Instead of entering agreements with bogus companies wasting millions of investor dollars, this company should and could of produced a viable product to sell themselves- however they have no desire to do that, too much work when selling PRs to people is soooo easy.
Marijuana is called weed bc it grows like one, be self sufficient, grow your own. If you arent able, then you should keep it local and support your local grower- especially as the laws change. Relying on big business and big pharm will not get you very far- as history has shown, they are all about a profit. Be self sufficient vmax, keep it local, keep it organic. Many different ways to ingest these cbds- you do not need to wait for dr bob to tell you how he thinks you should do it, havnt u wasted enough time?
I keep hearing you say different, so different- not just weed. Well, these kids arent smoking weed. The are ingesting cbds which is inturn providing them relief from their diseases. Gro-ops and clinics doing it the "wrong" way get raided and shut down as we just saw this week. Times are changing, january 1st the real stuff starts.
Why is marijuana so great? Bc you do not need a pharm company to produce it for you, you can receive the benefits yourself. People have been extracting these compounds for years- all the pharm companies will do is give you purity, thats not to say other parts of the plant are harmful. Anyone knows gold bullets are not always the answer- simply extracting one particular cbd and producing a 99% pure product for the masses may not give you all the benefits as ingesting the whole flower in a shake or using cbd rich oils. Companies will try and sell you these meds when you can produce them yourself. That is the great thing about plants- you can grow them. On jan1st normal people can walk into a clone shop, grab a clone containing cbds and no thc- grow it, extract the cbds using cold water filtration and boom- they have their meds and dont have to leave the home. This isnt rocket science but if it was- CBIS lost to companies like GW.
Bob is smart, he knows marijuana is a plant and available to the masses-( sure like a tomato you may run out and need to purchase some at the store- but for the most part you can grow all you need during the summer and have the supply until spring)- hes making his profit now before legalization happens and he can just smoke it where ever he wants for free
I'm sitting on east 14th and Colfax- what do I see? Legitimate business' all over the place selling a product to patients which the federal govt does not deem as "illegal." Cbis has been "headquartered" here for over 5 years, yet they have failed to enter the medical marijuana industry. People can argue the legitimacy all they want- the fact is money is being made while cbis burns millions. A migration has started (according to local news 7) of families coming to Colorado to receive cbds for their sick children- is cbis providing these meds? Nope. Are they working with these families, no. What did they supposedly do- went to amsterdam, even further from shareholders eyes. Im with you, believe its a scam and with FINRA warning investors about med marijuana scams involving criminals (this one has Dabney) I'd say its safe to say its a scam aswell.
Yeah- local news station in denver is holding a special on cbd oil helping children w seizures and families moving to colorado to receive it. Leaves me to ask- why is cbis going to europe? Why isnt cbis producing a product for these sick children? They have been based in colorado for 5+ yrs- why arent they in the market here?
CBIS has spent millions on getting new drugs thru govt hoops? yeahhhhhhhh right- they never even put forth a proposal to the fda for anytime of drug- gw has tho.
Also- there is such a thing a free cannabis- once you get your soil or hydro component down anyone can grow any strain of cannabis that they want (especially in colorado where we have shops on every corner to aid you). Thats the great thing about cannabis- no matter how concentrated the thc becomes- its still a weed and easy to grow. With a simple lab kit and elementary science anyone with a brain can extract these chemicals- it isn't rocket science- hell there are even new companies like montana biolabs to send you product too to have it tested. no need for crooks like melamede trying to be a middleman.
Days are changing, come jan1st colorado is legalized- you would think a company like chis who has been established in colorado for over 5 yrs would be poised to corner this market and produce anything to sell- unfortunately for investors- chis has not completed and r&d to do so- that would require a lab which we know they do not possess- pretty sad really. Cbis are cheerleaders for the cannabis movement- check out their Facebook page its all they post all day
Whoa whoa easy- biotech companies actually develop products- actually do alittle r&d- this is just a scam company using the mmj movement to make themselves money- why else would they bring in a conman like dabney? To pump like hes been doing for years- hes good at it too look at all the companies hes done it for.
Haha what are you talking about they just announced they were going to Amsterdam in april- leaving a state that has medical marijuana legalized and had the legislation in motion for the complete legalization to travel across an ocean? Doesnt make any sense
Then why did they move operations to europe? Kinda wierd and a waste of money would you say?
Isnt that what the investor inquiry section on the webpage? You know the is supposed to be a legit company why would you need to facebook them hahaha
Well it technically will not be "cannabis" bc they are working to isolate certain cbds which have shown to have tumor suppressing capabilities, etc.
Its illegal but they are working w indicas (dont forget sativas) and hemp? Thought you just said it was illegal? Howd they obtain the hemp or cannabis- from the govt?
Heres the link to purchase the basic course on the website- how else would they raise the revenue? Donations?
https://simplecheckout.authorize.net/payment/CatalogPayment.aspx
As for that youtube video- its deleted. Guess the laughs got back to dr bob or he sobered up.
Heres from the 10k- (i wont even add the 25k he got from the trust)
Raymond Dabney
Managing Consultant
$ 138,125.
Crook is getting 138k from the share holders- for what exactly?
Pretty sure i can be right?
You search dabney yet or are you to upset?
About as long as ive been hearing they were going to release meds- 89 million spent on nothing- usually that means bankruptcy for most companies
The basic courss at ggeco is $150 bucks. Thats 10 students enrolling over 6 months. They cut compensation thru stock- well they should what are these guys getting paid for? Dr bobs getting 330k n ggeco is pulling in $1500? Seems he should give some up to do some marketing
http://m.chronicle.com/article/article-content/139513/
These are whats going on now w others already completed- once these laws hit private institutions will begin research aswell- its completely legal
http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=marijuana&recr=Open&rslt=&type=&cond=&intr=&outc=&lead=&spons=&id=&state1=&cntry1=NA%3AUS&state2=&cntry2=&state3=&cntry3=&locn=&gndr=&rcv_s=&rcv_e=&lup_s=&lup_e=
Try following me on this- if marijuana is 100% legal in colorado and cbis is based in colorado- they now have an endless supply of legal marijuana to obtain for their studies. There is no longer the threat of govt interference in their transactions, no threat of the govt shutting down their supplier. With the laws being how they were- the main obstacle after securing the approval for the study is actually obtaining the marijuana- a constant consistent supply- now they can acquire any strain they want.
Their is no need to move their research to europe- they should be establishing the labs along w their r&d right here.
If cbis was more than that they would not be lining their pockets w 6figute salaries while their company is requiring massive investment to keep operations going thru this year- its a joke.
Why is cbis putting effort into europe when in 3 months colorado will be completely legalized? Feds already said laws will go thru, they said banks and other financial institutions will be able to process their transactions and this is 3 months away? Cbis has been in colorado since what- 2006? Kinda a weird time to move operations dont u think
Great concept, have some interesting members aboard but its not looking so good for cbis. They havent completed any actual research or product development- its all preliminary stages. Also they ate located in CO but are trying to establish themselves in Europe to create these meds- which is wierd considering in 3 months CO will be legalized and the FDA is accepting applications n patents from other companies - like Nuvilex and GW pharm.
Cannameds work, the future is here but the odds r stacked against CBIS unfortunately- esp in an industry where cash is king- big pharm has alot, cbis not so much. Goodluck tho
They were uplisted bc they finally released the 10qs (quarter financial reports) they were downlisted to pink limited bc they failed too- wont cause a rise bc their actual financials are horrific. Have a loss of 89 million since its creation, they are paying salaries w stock n have no revenue to continue operations thru the yr- pretty big risk with this company
Dabney is still paid 6 figs? He has been convicted of fraud in canada and investigated by the SEC? He has a trust which is also receiving payment from CBIS. Look up the man making 300k? You kidding me?
What about Nuvilex? Dr gupta spoke about this company multiple times; they are a proven research company, with real treatments and actual r&d
People do not "sit on" very lucrative patents- they submit them. Look up the patents on cbds already- there are a bunch
Trying to get fda approval of what? Couldnt try to get that cream approved with the 80million they spent. Guess that means They have nothing to get approved, maybe thats why. Four years is ample time to enter the market, cannabased meds such as oils and edibles have been helping cancer patients lead a more normal life- cbis could of began here to 1) help patients 2) create some revenue
Companies like GW have actual products being put thru the FDA process- why they have submitted them, what is taking cbis so long to synthesize one (no lab perhaps?) They certainly have had the capability with their scientific team which has been assembled since 2009 with the likes of melamede. Maybe after another 90 million they will get their act together
What is this "serious progress" that you speak of? You cannot be referring to a PR released about this TAT pathway- all that is based off of others' work, not research conducted by cbis. Even the way they are describing how they will administer the medicine is someone elses discovery (bob only does utube vids).
The govt has had a hands off approach to cannabusiness in states like colorado, cali and washington for awhile- cbis being "headquartered" (w a po box) in colorado since 2009, they have had ample time to enter the market w a product. They decided not too. As for submitting applications to begin studies w mmj- cbis decided not to do that either. If cbis made any moves other than diluting the stock n releasing PRs, they wouldnt be banking on investors (by working so hard to get the chill lifted they forgot to release their quarter reports) and "institutional investments" to continue operations (aka pay dabney and melaweed six figures)
Thats 100% false- govt has been accepting applications for studies using cannabis- cbis has never even attempted to submit one. Kinda weird for a company which claims to be at the forefront of the mmj movement- not even a scientific paper submitted- they only display others work.
Also cbis is located in colorado- anyone who has been to denver lately knows there is a huge canna market w a wide range of products- from what you ask- legit companies.
Where did they synthesize these compounds? Which lab? Where is it?
It would be in the best interest for a company conducting research to keep it under wraps but not the facility itself. Cbis has never disclosed the location of a research lab until saying the are going to netherlands- cool. Company is relying on substantial investments to keep operations going thru just this yr- would be smart to let potential investors know you are actually performing research- not just creating PRS. Company gets called out on facebook all day for being a scam and they never reply- never saw a legit company sit so silent before and take the bashing
Colorado and washington will be legal jan 1st- mass, cali and oregon right behind- once other states see the feds stance they will put it up to vote, cnbc had danny danko on today who said big business is looking at the sector- cbis better get their act together n start producing products bc times r changing fast
I put in for a nickel that day and they wouldnt fill my order until i raised my ask to 2 bucks- i received hundred shares then ask rose again- stupidly i thought it was overpriced
Why would cbis pop bc the feds are meeting to discuss the disparity between the state and federal marijuana laws? This meeting going to change their horrific 10q? Gonna make their products magically appear? Lets be serious
Reason its in the P&D hall of fame haha
Yes i can- check cbis' financials and youll find raymond dabneys name- he and his trust are getting quite the paycheck these days. I wonder if the robert j kane who went to federal prison for fraud is the father of the robert kane who is affiliated w this company. Wouldnt surprise me if he was
From the Finra report
"Be wary of frequent changes to a company's name or business focus. Name changes and the potential for manipulation often go hand in hand. One low-priced stock now claiming to be in the medical marijuana business has had four name changes in the past 10 years."

Looks like 4 names in the past ten yrs, not to mention company began as Patriot Holdings in the late 90s. Might not of called Cbis out by name but they certainly gave examples of companies and patterns to watch-out for.
Haha they had me a yr or so ago w the A&E special (that never came), rode it from 5 to 24 tho w that one. I pulled out in the 5s right before the dip into the 3s. Gotta stick around and see how long she can last while looking for a legit mmj company to invest in- one that will actually develop products. Not ones that hire cons

Not very well thats for sure. Po box, couple computers and 6 figure bonuses on the stock holders dime (aka sundoctor)
No they are paid that much bc they are cons. I mean unless Dabney suddenly changed
