We have huge debt and no cash to speak of it will be enteresting to see how we aquire a good company Time will tell.
How did you get my wifes picture? Please explain. lol
Global warming my friend.
Risk is almost 100 per cent. Fat lady getting ready to sing. She has the mic in her hand and her lips are pursed. Hope this answers your questions.
I do hope you are right.
So what is the future for HRCT. They have no money and almost worthless stock to work with. They can t buy a worthwhile business,----I would predict a R/S of about 1 for 100, then follow the route of FLTL something on that order. Time will tell. I only have 100K left at this point so it is no biggie. Good luck to everyone.
Please read my post #601. In the originol merger papers they said they would spin fltl back to us. Thats the way I read it at that time, JMO, anyone else an idea? Thanks.
Also a big short squeeze is here or on the way soon. Would not be surprised if a big move tomorrow.
Check the STKL yahoo board there is some good research there.
The only proxy I know is the one I rec today with the annual report. It just calls for the election of directors and approve the accountants, nothing unusal. The stock has went up for all kinds of reasons, Underpriced is one. On May i-2-3 is the er releasse-cc-and a presentation at an ethonl conference. Earnings are expected to beat est, new contracts to be announced at the cc etc, maybe some good things from the presentation. If so this stock will hit 20 by end of May.(my opinion only) The jamba juice contract is helping, Jamba could be really big for stkl as jamba is expected to really grow. They are in some of the whole food stores. (I am buying 1k shares of SVI tomorrow which is jamba juice.) it is 11 something and should double in summer at least as for stkl I own 6k at alittle under 5/ After 20 I will keep an eye on it. I believe that within 2 years it will be 100. maybe 50 and split and then back to 50. I expect to get rich we will see lol. I like the way the co is managed, The highest salary of pres etc is 239 000. Thats very good in comp to most companys. Would enjoy hearing your remarks,,, Regards don
We need another 1 for 35 to get this price up a little bit.
The RS really helped this stock, Guess that is what HRCT needs. lol
The R/S has been very good for us. We are only down 48% since the split.
Dont know what to make of all this same as most. Bottom line is it looks like they formed this new company with fltl and mk/ fltl does not fit in so they are spinning off fltl. We will have shares in both companies. May not be true just what I believe.
Looks like huge volume in our stock today
Thanks, looks that way to me. Happy investing.
Is there anyone on this board that thinks csco will ever move up or should we just sell and move on. I dont know myself. Thought after Cramer mentioned it it would move up,
Thanks for your opinion I think you are right.
I have several china investments, will they be worth more or less in american money after the revalue. In other words will I gain or lose. I have 3 china utilities that have really treated me GOOD the last 5 years. Stay well and keep the faith in HRCT.
And #10: Be a large Hartcourt Shareholder.
I for one am just sitting back with my many thousands of shares waiting for the good times to roll. and they will roll. SOON.
My 1099 shows a cash div. of 10 cents a share for fltl. I have to pay taxes on that amount. Now we did not receive any money but got fltl shares in leu of cash, so that makes our fltl cost basis of 10 cents. Thats how the broker and tax man explained it to me. My last broker statement showed my fltl with a cost of 10 cents. Good luck.
I MAN don t worry about selling your shares. Worry about buying all you can get so that you do not miss out on that big third wave that we hear so much about, JMHO lol
Is this boaard finished. Always enjoyed this boaard.
Thanks for the info about AFA. Things sure do look good. Our <payday> should be here within 6 months, Happy investing.
I will be glad to do what the 1099 says. I am sure we will have the proper instructions before tax time. Good luck with your investments.
They gave me 8886 of those fltl shares and I am not going to declare it if I receive no paper work from them at the end of the year. After all who ever heard of paying tax on something given you that is worthless. lol
Me too. And I also want to say thank you Dr. Phan. You are a very generous person. Thanks again.
We will all survive because we are Hartcourters JMHO
Just got power back after 5 days. A lot of small damage for us. We were lucky Hope earnings were good . Have over 100 possts to read hope good news in them. At least we are alive. Only a few deaths in Fl. We live in daytona.
Tin.. How do I vote my 50K shares that I bought about a year ago at 74 cents each, Will I be getting proxy paperwork in the mail as most companies send out? I am 81 years old and can not attend the SH meeting. Thank you for any info you can give me. Mr.D.
Soooo..based on this news, do we buy sell or hold today?
I agree with you as how the good Dr. could dispose of the shares' 1. give to charity 2. retire them and benefit all stockholders and Hartcourt as well. 3. Give a third each to Pit, the monkey and Ernie they always speak so well of the good dr.
You are right on the money in all your statements..
I am both old and conservative.but the waiting does not bother me. I have been a cub fan for 70 years- since i was 10 years old and as you all know cub fans are used to waiting.
A lot of people are worried about the share price. Not me, it has to go up. Too many people like the co. If you look at the consolidated balance sheet you will see our :good will: went up more than 10 million dollars compared to 2002. This really helps our balance sheet. This really helps our total assets. Have no fear.
Question and answers for March someone asked in #5 about the standard of living for HRCT employees. HRCT itself has 10 employees total so there would be not many non management. The subs altogether has about 1000. So that would be a little over a 100 for each sub. Since they are all seperate companies all their benefits would be different. I would think they would offer what ever their competition offers. We could figure out how many employees per store by adding the total stores for all subs and divide that into 1000. This would tell us just how big an operation each store is. This is just the way I see it. The next 2 weeks or so should be exciting. GO HRCT.
I hope the price of FTL will be .40 or so because I will have quite a few shares..but when you go to the 8k filed for the div you read it is not a going concern, no operating history no employees no money etc. When HRCT got rid of something that had little value if any, I do not see how that could effect the price of hrct. I love hrct and think i will make money but I dont see anything in FTL unless it grows and developes a little later. I hope to send my kids to college with hrct stock..
So far as the price of ftl I hope it is .40 or more because I will have quite a few shares. But-- when you go back and read the 8k filled for the div. How could it be more than a cent or 2. At that time it was not a going concern.--they had no sales no operating history no money. The 8k said if they operate they will have to get money--probably sell stock. It could not [the div] effect the price of hrct stock if it had no value when they gave it to us'Thats what i got when I read the 8k. Maybe you or others will have a different opinion. GO HRCT
To me it doesn t look like our div will be worth much o well. We will make it big on HRCT. This is taken from the 8k Shareholders should be aware of certain special
considerations, including, among other things,
that: (i) FTL has a history of operating at a loss;
(ii) FTL will need to obtain additional financing
in order to fund its operating losses; (iii) FTL
has no operating history as a separate public
company; (iv) Hartcourt's financial and, following
a transition period, certain other support of FTL
will be discontinued following the Distribution;
(v) the Distribution will be taxable to Hartcourt
shareholders; (v) FTL operates in markets that are
highly competitive; (vi) payment of cash dividends
is not expected for the foreseeable future; and
(vii) there has been no prior public market for FTL
common stock and the market prices may be volatile.
