Wouldn't it be cool
If the Chinese public bought shares in the companies they can SEE are doing well and aren't scams; trading on foreign exchanges with foreign brokerage accounts?
Win Win for everyone.
Thanks
This from another board; interesting thoughts
kindama shared his thoughts and a link from Bloomberg:
China Studies Relaxing Limits on Individuals Investing Overseas
www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-03-21/pboc-s-yi-says-china-may-ease-fx-exchange-limits-for-individuals
This could make a big difference for deeply undervalued micro-caps. Domestic Chinese will have the best knowledge of these companies actual operations. it would not take a lot of new money to move the low floaters.
What does this mean?
I would suggest we offer them POCs if we have them for analysts
Thanks for that report
TINY It's finally happening...it's begun it's TINY move.
Closed at 3.68 today
Exciting things will happen this year
Hope you got some.
Welcome Back Heber!
Well, that was helpful
This Renee person wrote a script that would post that same message on every single delinquent stock's message board.
We've known that all along that to be the case. And we're waiting for it to be resolved.
So now we have a panicked seller.
SIGH
Only a $35 million market cap at $2.78/ share
100 million which is no big deal is just under $8.00
Lotta potential here
GTHP - Big Pharma and the FDA?
Think about it: This is a tiny company, If a big pharma company felt that GTHP was going to make a threatening amount of money, they would simply buy them, as they do time and time again.
It's not reasonable to think the FDA is working to block this product just to protect bigger established companies.
"The FDA is protecting the big boys as long as it can.....because of the biopsy, pap smear and vaccine business"
Are you referring to Belichick as YODA?
I did a search on Yoda and NE and found this from a couple years ago:
http://www.nepatriotslife.com/2013/08/belichick-is-always-step-ahead.html
"Bill Belichick is always a step ahead
If you had any doubt that New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was the Yoda of the NFL these opening weeks of training camp have provided some classic examples of Bill Belichick playing chess while the rest of the league is playing checkers."
FUNNY!

Well, the Colts got to play with the same slightly softer balls that the Patriots did. It seems they had the same advantage if there was any.
The guy that plays the CEO role
At this company get an obscene salary for such a tiny un-profitable company. Over a million a year. see salary: http://finance.yahoo.com/q/pr?s=RGDX
He could solve the equity problem by actually buying real shares in the market with the money he's already taken from the treasury of the company.
It would also restore some confidence from the shareholders.
Also If he reduced his take from the company until it's clearly profitable.
Bullies
Wall St is made up of financial bullies.
They had this all planned out.
Once the approval hit they were going to let it pop then short it into the ground. When the company finally says "we need money" the Bullys will say ok we'll give you some money: say.. $20 million for 20 million shares that's a buck a share (or whatever they settle on will be below market price)
They hand them the money..which they have from shorting it at higher prices...the company hands them the shares. The bully financiers now cover their short with those shares. And then and only then will they start pushing the price up to now make the additional shares they have worth more.
It works beautifully for the bullies they make a ton on both trips down and up.
There will be no short squeeze as some here imagine.
It will all be handled quietly on paper
You and I can't do this stuff but they do.
They make the money by taking it from you.
They see a struggling financially weak company and essentially make them weaker by their tactics.
Re: ZA dividend
I didn't get the sense that .20 dividend was going to be an annual thing. I took it as a one time event. I think the market took it that way too.
I do hope that they use their smarts and buy shares back. But I'm skeptical about that. The management seems stodgy and set in its ways. Just hoard the cash. Except that the guy at the top wanted to get some of it... legitimately mind you by issuing a dividend.
That's one thing to be said about ZA. they don't want to be seen as doing anything shady. But that hasn't helped the stock price.
I believe the MM run this whole trading pattern.
I think the supposed 7 million short shares are in the process being covered now. Or may be covered once an offering is done. They had to short a ton more shares once it popped and keep shorting it to crush the new hopeful buyers. They're trying to control the price so they can cover.
The company is at the mercy of the market makers and financiers as far as the stock price is concerned. And so are us little retail guys.
Anyone Understand why they are crushing this so much?
Is AIV-BEX's AMOLED project delayed but still on track?
http://www.oled-info.com/aiv-bexs-amoled-project-delayed-still-track
Was this ever posted? Sorry If it was, I didn't see it.
3 month old news
According to the above writers research,
Q4 2015 for the OLED portion of the business to show fruit
I certainly hope they can make it work and make a profit at it.
They seem to have invested a lot in equipment from that Dutch company. Maybe it is more practical for smaller screens.
It's been bothering me for some time not to hear anything for some time about their work in this area.
I miss Frankie. he was so helpful.
IDI making a powerful move this morning.
Buyers are showing confidence in Frosts plan.
RE QD vs OLED
I'm sure most here have noticed we haven't heard much of anything from the company about there OLED project for a long time. A lot about Otter Chairs though. They may have realized that OLED isn't going to be competitive and are rethinking their business model. Not what any of us want to hear, but it may be the truth.
Picked up some $ZA today
@ .48 good risk/reward at that price.
I wonder if it'll make it back to a buck..
It's Time to buy TINY
Buy Now and Smile Big next year
Probably 5-6 IPO's in the pipe in the next year or so.
This little beaten down Chinese company:
China Electronics Holdings
http://stockcharts.com/freecharts/gallery.html?s=CEHD
just did a news release today announcing they've engaged this company: "American Capital Ventures" to be their investor relations firm.
It's stock price which has been in a slow grind down to single pennies through the years, but has started coming back and spiked today .20 on that news. It will be interesting to see how it performs. CEHD has a tiny market cap like AIVI, their advantage is they've continued to file and report to the SEC.
I'm not making a recommendation on it, just pointing out by comparison what we all know AIVI could and should be doing.
Here's to hoping they see the light...
Nice post Crusader
Good analysis, sober, yet hopeful.
Thank you
I Like It!
I want it to want 1 too!
Re: Tiger Media Group News
IDI is Tiger Media of China
http://www.tigermedia.com
That news article goes to another company
Tiger Media Group out of Austin
http://www.tigermediagrp.com
Same name (almost), similar businesses, go figure.
Good Point Joe
Thanks for digging and seeking clarity.
I'm thinking it's not related to "our" company:
http://www.tigermedia.com/
TMG says it started in 2009 in Austin TX
http://www.tigermediagrp.com/
Amazing the similarities
It makes one wonder...
Came upon this news article on another board:
http://www.digitalsignagetoday.com/news/america-on-hold-grabs-tiger-media-by-the-tail-to-add-digital-signage-to-lineup/
News today on their Chinese side of company website:
http://aivtech.com/cn/news_show.asp?id=165
your browser should be able to translate it.
They took a bunch from the company on a outing to celebrate 10 years working together. Said something about Australia, Does that seem credible to take everyone to Australia for this team building outing? If so, their spending money.
Hey, for the price of a ticket or two to Australia they can get current on the Nevada SOS
The Conviction To Hold
http://microcapclub.com/2014/08/the-conviction-to-hold/
Good piece.
By and large, most here have developed this attitude on this one.
I thought it might give us fresh resolve to continue.
-----
Have a nice Autumn
They way I read the news
They're still seeking approval for Europe.
They can market it there.
So they've decided to "burn" the place down.
BOD: We can't get our way, nobody gets anything.
"Screw everyone, we're keeping the money that's left for themselves."
Platinum has offered to make it work but they've refusing to cooperate.
Why can't all this absurdity be stopped?
Thank you for providing that report.
Was there any discussion on how the 3 amigos will be removed?
I believe...
They went public to raise money, which they did.
I believe they probably didn't understand what's behind a rising stock price (perhaps they still don't) It seemed like magic.
Go public, sell products, Imagining their $5 ipo will quickly become $10 then $15 and more. It had happened to many before. "Stupid Americans will pay any price, we'll be rich!" They didn't expect the Market turn against Chinese stocks in general.
But around the time AIVI did it, the Chinese Bull stock market was long in the tooth, momentum was sputtering and the dishonest companies where having the spot light put on them, confidence was slipping fast. AIVI was caught in that undertow coupled with that dud of a stock promoting company.
Had they done it 3 years sooner it would have been a different result. (Of course probably none/few of us would have bought many shares.) Maybe it would made a run after the IPO to $10-$12 then as investors lost interest and let it drift down and be trading at $2 share now with occasional spikes. Maybe like SGOC's up and down pattern.
I think they should gradually restore investor confidence rather than do lay everything on the table all at once.
It would raise the stock price gradually and induce stability. And create anticipation of what's next.
Ya know, it's shame we talk at length about what they should do and yet it makes no difference. They will do what and when they decide to do it; only time will tell how well their choices will be received.
Well...there's my annual rant...I didn't expect to do that when I started. Hope Y'all have a good day
I guess those commenters won't be willing to invest in AIVI.
They've probably been burned in some China Investments in the past.
My post was in the spirit of optimism.
Maybe the Alibaba IPO will light a fire under some of these China stocks.
This is kinda cool, notice the Otter name
http://aivtech.com/en/product_show.asp?id=58
Actually there are several new ones:
http://aivtech.com/en/product.asp?dlm=1&xlm=16
I suppose it's possible.
It's taking so long to turn it around and with all the write offs each quarter, it potentially is an ideal way to rob the company's assets. That's my cynical perspective from here in the US. No way to verify anything. Hey, that's why it trades at a penny now
Well, we have some 10Q's to read.
I don't get the sense they're trying very hard to be profitable. Lots of write offs or write downs.
You have any thoughts?
I think it's ready for a bounce
I grabbed some at 1.68 today.
It pooped out a 3 million block today on the Canadian Exchange under the symbol ZEN.V
Which looks like a final forced sell from CLF who needed the money.
Tesla could use their graphite for their battery plant.
Whether TSLA or not, some kind of deal should be announced this fall. They're sitting on a lot of good graphite.
