About 25 years ago, I needed a drug to help with my acid reflux. My doctor said that the new drug he wanted to prescribe for me (Prilosec - which I had been taking as a sample and was working for me) had the "black box" attached to it. I told him that "both you and I know that the concentration they give to these mice they test the drug on is so high that of course there will be some negative affects, that the concentration is one that if you were to give to a human in the same proportion according to weight, would most likely kill the person." He looked at me and wrote out the prescription. We all know where Prilosec is today. I still don't understand why these people who are supposed to understand how these trials on rodents are conducted, really don't get it. The problems they are concerned about have already been addressed.
Hopefully, the response letters will be enough to set these people straight.
Long ARNA
I take it this is good news? Why give shares unless something good is about to happen?
Bought shares back before the original adcom and held until after approval. Sold at around 9.75. Made a small profit. I've been buying back in and am holding now for the next leg up with EU approval and launch in US next year. But I'm not sure what this filing is all about. Anyone have any thoughts? TIA

Not sure if this was already posted, but why would anyone go into a joint venture with Aone if there is no potential?

Why such a large bid/ask spread?
Thanks. Hope Monday sees a better upswing and the seller is done.
Can someone please explain why this has been going south? I just purchased more to average down and the pps went up to .012. Now it is down to .007. What has to happen in order for this to see any upward trend?
Just bought into this stock this morning. Anyone have an opinion as to when it hits .25 or .30 and what happens after that? Will the pps go down? Like to know opinions so I can sell for a profit and then buy back in at a lower pps if this is indeed going to be bought out. Or do you not see the pps going down once it hits the .25 - .30 range?
Okay, I will have to wait until I get home to execute since my pass card is there and I am at work. Hope the price isn't too high by then. I will definitely get back in, with more shares than I sold. Keeping my fingers crossed!
What do you think this will close at today?
Okay, I got nervous yesterday and sold my shares. Admit I am new to all of this and the negative posters finally got to me. I sure wish this news had come out yesterday instead of today. But, that considered, I would like to get back in asap. Too late?
All information is on an NDA right now, so no, there is no other reliable independent news source, as far as the technology goes.
Here's the link to the report prepared by MSE. Certainly nothing that any 8th grader would be conducting nor anywhere near being able to set up and perform. I hope this report will help you.

Enjoy the technical reading.
Just something to think about. MSE is a government facility.

MSE - Who We Are
Originally, MSE Technology Applications, Inc. (MSE) was formed to test and demonstrate Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) technology at a new federally owned research site in Butte (the U.S. DOE Western Environmental Technology Office (WETO). Through the 1970 and mid-1980s, we broadened our scope in response to increased regional demand for engineering services and for more significant research and testing of the MHD technology. As we completed testing the MHD technology (sponsored by the Department of Energy), we began to explore opportunities to diversify our business base. MSE successfully shifted into testing, demonstration, and commercial application of waste treatment systems using temperature technologies and advanced chemical, biological, and physical processes.
In September 1996, MSE acquired and successfully privatized the WETO facility. In 2001 the facility was renamed the Mike Mansfield Advanced Technology Center in honor of Senator Mike Mansfield, and it has become a nationally recognized facility.
Today, we serve both Government and private industries providing engineering services and testing resources. Who are we? We are committed professionals working hard for our customers -- working hard for you.
Our mission:
Our Mission and Values: Do the right thing no matter how difficult, treat all people fairly and with respect, improve the communities in which we live, look to the future, learn from the past, take care of our employees, operate with a business discipline, and accomplish our work at a reasonable profit.
MSE Technology Applications, Inc. is a national customer-focused enterprise based on performance, quality, value, relationships, and solutions. We monitor our success through customer satisfaction, repeat business, and company growth. So, the government is already aware of the SEC situation and they are still in negotiations. I really think they want this to work. JMHO
Well stated!
Latest Butte-Updater:
6:15 pm MSE-Global: No news or releases appeared on local television news or on internet news pages of the local press through the evening press cycle. 10-4-12
This morning he stated:
6:47 - MSE Global - no public information in the local press or on local television this morning, the non-disclosure agreement is essentially nonexistent any more, and employees of MSE who do the daily work are keeping a watch for work in other firms - pretty much regardless of whether or not there is a sale deal.
So I take it that the NDA is still in effect? Still in negotiations?
GTGP
Already did. Here's the reply:
Thank you for your inquiry. We are under a non disclosure agreement and cannot release any information. Please visit www.mse-ta.com or the Global Technologies website for information.?

Here's a bit of an update...

Who had the order? If it was a market maker, it is a signal for "pending news".
http://www.pennystocks123.com/market-advice/penny-stocks-market-maker-signals.html
Just a question. According to Edgars, if I am reading this right, the financials for 2007 were accepted by Edgars 9-16-2011. Why accepted 4 years later? Just asking.

And yes, pennies that have a significant spike in pps and many posts as such here on Ihub get noticed by the SEC.

George Canellos, Director of the SEC’s New York Regional Office, added, “The investing public does not have accurate or adequate information about these securities to use in making informed investment decisions. Nonetheless, stock-touting websites, twitter users, and often anonymous individuals posting to Internet message boards have hyped many of these companies, and these promotional campaigns have been followed by spikes in share price and trading volume.”

FOR RELEASE AT
5 p.m. ET No. 662-11
July 29, 2011
MSE Technology Application, Inc., Butte, Mont., was awarded a $22,739,109 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The award will provide for the hypersonic weapons testing, development, and support program. Work location will be determined on a task order basis, with an estimated completion date of July 27, 2016. One bid was solicited, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-11-D-0086).
Just something to add to the discussion. The journalist from the Montana Standard and that so reliable Butte Updater seemed to have written off MSE and hope it goes away just like GTGP. Why would the DOD give a $22 Million contract to a company that is defunct according to these people if the completion of the task isn't until July of 2016?
Just wondering.
I checked all of the links posted for the SEC "litigations" etc. and not one of them mentioned GTGP. What do you make of that?
Not saying there isn't a suspension by the SEC, just wondering why they are not currently listed on any of them. Then we could see for ourselves what the suspension was for and the complaint.
Rip, please repost the number. You have tel:(305)%20982-6301. % sign... is that supposed to be a 5?
Where do you find the numbers for the SEC office for Miami?
Thank you.
Who is the mm for GTGP?
We know trading will resume on Oct. 1st, the tenth day for trading after the suspension. Yet the "expert" on these matters keeps referring to H10. Isn't that the code for suspended until further notice? So how much other inference are we to glean from the other "expert" information given?
I also feel a PR early next week would definitely be beneficial to the shareholders. I hope that those who know how to get in touch with Jim will do so. Also, in May of this year, the SEC suspended 379 shell companies.
The SEC's goal of trying to clean out defunct companies "is a good thing," says Cromwell Coulson, CEO of OTC Markets Group, which operates the OTC Pink marketplace, where all 379 suspended securities traded. But he says the SEC may have inadvertently also suspended trading in several legitimate securities. Investors in several firms, some of which pay dividends, contacted OTC Markets about the suspension, he says.
Despite the SEC's action, many potential shells continue to exist, and investors must continue to beware. There are still nearly 3,000 companies trading on the OTC Pink marketplace that provide no information, says OTC Markets. "We'll keep an eye on the marketplace and see what the risks are going forward," the SEC's Sporkin says.

It really does make one wonder why the suspension was done when it was. O well... time will tell. Not looking for a response. Just putting out info to ponder.
Can anyone contact the OTC Market Group for inquiries?
Thanks Greg. Just got off the phone with an adviser from my self-invested account. He saw the article and the reason for the suspension. He stated to me that right now, GTGP is listed on the grays because of the suspension. If the financials are able to be updated by Oct. 1st, then the stock will trade where it left off, on the pinks if the news is good. If not, then it stays on the grays.
I know others will say otherwise, but I will take his word for now.
By the way, he was impressed by the uptic in price since July.
Sticking my neck out for the naysayers, but o well. Take your best shot. Some said, "even if there was any testing done at all".
SARASOTA, FL--(Marketwire - Aug 9, 2012) Global Technologies Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GTGP) announces that the Mercury removal percentage of 98% after only 16 hours of operation will continue to increase with the continuous insertion of the MBS™ chemicals to attain full saturation and that data will be available for the full 24 hour period by this evening and will be reported tomorrow. It is being monitored daily and verified by both the plant and MSE Technology Applications, Inc.
http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/global-technologies-group-reports-results-mercury-capture-98-after-first-16-hours-operational-pinksheets-gtgp-1689264.htm
So the testing was being monitored by MSE, the company Global is making the deal with.
What else should we believe from you. Again, as many have said here, only time will tell.
Thanks all!!! I'll be sleeping much better tonight. One more question. When I look at my holdings on my self-investment acct, obviously I see GTGP at current pps .93. When the suspension is over, what is the projected price I will see? TIA
Okay. So we go to the greys. For how long and how do you trade there?
By normal trading, do you mean on the pinks?
So does this mean that when all paperwork is filed, if within the 10 days, trading will be done on the pinks or greys?
Are you saying this as a fact? If so, please respond asap that this is sincere since I can't wait (have to go to work and won't have access to any news). Any particular source? I will check back much later.
How so? I don't know much about how that would work as to GTGP.
I can't PM. I'm not saying anything. I think Tim who covered the first story will have a follow up in the Montana Standard tomorrow. Will just have to wait an see.
Once again:
I emailed Tim Trainor and got this response. Hope it sheds some light. Any thoughts from anyone would be appreciative.
Hi newpenny, (Not going to give my real name)
We are working on something from this end. MSE and MERDI folks are in meetings right now. It does look like a dramatic decline in GTGP stock would stop the deal, but the SEC ruling does not preclude it. I’ll have a full report out tomorrow.
Sorry I haven’t been able to responds to all the emails but thanks for asking and reading,
