The world didn't end but Baltia's world is definately ended.
It's a government document that, translated, says..get out, get out of Baltia while you still can. I got out a couple of months ago at .025 and managed to save a few dollars from my investment. It would appear that Baltia's days are numbered in weeks now.
This was sent out today. Posted here in case any were interested.
BioSolar Drives Down Costs to Meet Growing Solar Industry Demand
The company is expected to benefit from a more competitive marketplace for solar subcomponents
Santa Clarita, CA – December 11, 2012 – BioSolar, Inc. (OTCBB: BSRC), developer of breakthrough products and materials that reduce the cost of photovoltaic (PV) solar modules, today announced key cost saving measures that will allow the company to benefit from a more competitive marketplace for solar subcomponents.
Rapid price decline has prompted solar manufacturers to reassess all subcomponents and determine where changes can be made to drive down the cost of the bill of materials while still maintaining adequate robustness and reliability. “In adversity lies opportunity,” said BioSolar’s CEO, David Lee, “Manufacturers are accelerating efforts to drive cost reductions throughout all their solar product lines. Our BioBacksheet, with single layer composition, meets that need by delivering the reliability and robustness of the best available backsheets while maintaining cost competitiveness with the more economical backsheets on the market. Adopting BioBacksheet allows PV panel manufacturers to achieve cost savings without sacrificing panel quality or longevity.”
“We expect to benefit in this competitive environment since BioBacksheet provides superior performance compared to similarly priced backsheets currently available in the marketplace,” Dr. Lee continued. “Therefore, we are focusing on two specific features of BioBacksheet that will improve the competitiveness of our customers’ panels. First, a lower cost BioBacksheet will allow our customers to sell lower cost PV panels, resulting in a reduced cost per watt of solar power production. This is the equation that defines current PV panel economics and competitiveness. Second, reducing the panel’s average internal operating temperature improves PV panel power output. Our BioBacksheet can reduce a panel’s average internal operating temperature due to its high thermal conductivity. This increases the panel output wattage at no additional cost, and thus improves the key cost per watt metric.”
To further reduce the costs of BioBacksheet, BioSolar previously announced that it had entered into a contract manufacturing agreement with Stevens Urethane, a premiere contract manufacturer with proven track record in quality and cost competitiveness. BioSolar also successfully negotiated reduced material and logistics costs by forming mutually beneficial long-term business relationships with its suppliers. The company now has strong backing from key suppliers and contractors.
BioSolar is now developing EcoBacksheet, its second backsheet product that will further reduce the cost of solar energy.
Heading for the death certificate of .0001 The graveyard of all pennies sooner or later.
Well said starchaser, well said.
Good advice flyskibum. I sold my last holdings of 50,000 shares this morning. I know compared to some here, that's nothing. Well, this bird will never get off the ground and it was time to move on, right Fly? You guys may prove me wrong and if so, I will cry in my beer but in this case, I don't think I will do any crying. Just wanted to leave before BLTA got down to the dreaded .0001 which is where all these stocks eventually end up. You're just seeing the death throes now for awhile. The final gasping and kicking before the end. Good luck to all who stay with it and who knows, maybe someday I really will see Baltia at JFK on the schedule. So long for now.
It's always just two more weeks Abimbola....always.
Yep. Just a brief uptick to get everyone's hopes up and back to reality. Most likely some profit takers.
I have flightaware set for automatic notification if N706BL takes off or files a flight plan. I'll post it here if it does.
Got this email this morning from Biosolar.
BioSolar Begins Development of EcoBacksheet™
The company’s second breakthrough backsheet product is intended to be environmentally friendly and lower cost to capture a significant share of the rapidly growing solar market
Santa Clarita, CA – September 18, 2012 – BioSolar, Inc. (OTCBB: BSRC), developer of breakthrough products and materials that reduce the cost of photovoltaic (PV) solar modules, today announced that it has commenced development of EcoBacksheet, the company’s second backsheet product. EcoBacksheet will be designed to be both environmentally friendly and lower cost in order to capture a significant share of the rapidly growing solar market.
Dr. Stanley Levy, the company’s Chief Technology Officer, commented, “EcoBacksheet will incorporate much of the company’s proprietary knowledge accumulated during development of BioBacksheet, which is currently available for commercial sale. EcoBacksheet will incorporate a unique set of new materials and processing techniques to further reduce the cost of backsheet materials for PV panel manufacturers. EcoBacksheet is expected to appeal to a substantially wider range of PV panel applications due to its lower price point.”
BioSolar recently announced that it had completed all the UL certifications required for the commercial sale of BioBacksheet and had entered into a contract manufacturing agreement with Stevens Urethane, a high quality, high volume commercial manufacturer, to produce BioBacksheet. BioSolar is now working closely with several key solar manufacturers to integrate BioBacksheet into their solar panels.
BioSolar’s patented BioBacksheet is the world’s first UL certified solar panel backsheet made from renewable materials and features two distinct benefits that are unmatched by existing backsheets. First, BioBacksheet’s high thermal conductivity rapidly draws heat away from the solar cells, which can increase the power output of the entire solar panel. Second, BioBacksheet’s USDA BioPreferred Certification allows solar panels to be marketed as more sustainable and socially responsible, and preferred by U.S. government agencies.
“Our development team has proven its ability to successfully develop a unique product for the solar market,” said Dr. David Lee, the company’s CEO. “Our goal now is to leverage this core competency to develop a more extensive line of breakthrough products and materials for the rapidly growing solar market.”

Another Friday, another bust. I'll give the Lieutenant one thing, he can say the same thing over and over and it always sounds different. He's a pro at that. We can hardly wait and see what he says next week.
If I see one more post of "one more week", I'm gonna scream and throw my monitor out the window.
Not likely.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha any day now. Good one Abimbola
I worked for UPS couple of years ago when I retired from my full time job. They, at that time, were still flying DC-10's. Walking into that flight deck was like taking a trip back in time. But they were/are all paid for and money makers for UPS. Still airworthy and certified. Age is not the problem, maintenance is and they are maintained.
You forgot..."I will continue to provide you with timely information as it becomes available". (once every year or so)
I keep posting and keep coming back because, if I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it and will buy back in. I'm not here to bash anyone or the company. But Lt's post says it all. He has new information, etc...but he's not going to share it because, why?, he's upset about the site. That should tell any reasonable person all they need to know.
Sounds good starchaser...thanks.
I got out at 0.0199. Looks like it was a good decision.
Got this email today...thought I'd pass it along.

BioSolar Ready to Begin Shipping BioBacksheet
Company completes all technical UL certifications and can now begin manufacturing to fill orders from solar manufacturers
Santa Clarita, CA – July 31, 2012 – BioSolar, Inc. (OTCBB: BSRC), developer of a breakthrough technology to produce bio-based materials from renewable plant sources that reduce the cost of photovoltaic (PV) solar modules, today announced that it has completed all technical UL certifications necessary to begin shipping BioBacksheet to solar manufacturers.
Dr. David Lee, commented, “I am pleased to report that we have finally completed all the UL certifications required for the commercial sale of BioBacksheet. This includes UL’s 130-degree C Relative Thermal Index (RTI) recognition, where BioBacksheet far surpassed the performance of competitive products at the conclusion of the 14 month long test. RTI is the temperature below which a material will not be compromised by long term thermally induced chemical degradation. Passing this last test means that we are ready to accept orders from solar panel manufacturers for high volume production of BioBacksheet.”
“During the first half of this year, we increased our customer pipeline and are now working closely with several key solar manufacturers to integrate BioBacksheet into their panels,” Dr. Lee added. “As we previously reported, BioSolar has entered into a contract manufacturing agreement with Stevens Urethane, a high quality, high volume commercial manufacturer, to produce BioBacksheet. This gives us the capacity to ship orders of virtually any size. For the balance of this year, we will focus on expanding our sales program and aggressively marketing the unique cost cutting and performance enhancing features of BioBacksheet.”
In order for solar panels containing BioBacksheet to be sold in the general marketplace, full panel samples must be submitted to UL for UL 1703 certifications. This is the last technical step before commercial orders. BioSolar reports that one potential customer has already received this panel level UL 1703 certification.

A problem with the plane and it sits where it's at, passengers on board or not. Gotta have at least two planes I would think, minimum.
I think you are absolutely correct.
Three weeks ago Lieutenant told us big things were going to happen by Friday....He just never said which Friday.
We're getting updates every day from Speckulater and Weaseldawg.
That's all we need.
They went to Greece looking for money?? Please stop, my sides hurt from laughing. Greece?? The same Greece that is bankrupt??
I hope they can find a Billionaire sponge diver to work their magic on. GLTA
Well said 2fer1. I've said here many times that there is alot Baltia could say to keep investors updated, without running into trouble with the SEC, but they don't. The Lieutenant seems to be their spokesperson for some strange reason. Anyway, all any of us can do is wait and that is what we're good at.
I agree. It's not so much Weaseldawg being negative, which is his right. If he had something new to say, even if bad news, it would be proper to post it here. But he doesn't. It's the same old posts, over and over again. Even when someone responds to them he still posts them again. It's as if he doesn't read the responses and has no interest in communicating with anyone.
Igor has said a couple of times as well as other posters here that Baltia will not do a reverse split. I hope that is true.
Lieutenant: Not knowing who you are, I have been reading your posts for a couple of years. They are consistently upbeat and positive. This one though, about the meeting, is the one that finally makes a believer out of me. Until now, I had been less then positive that Baltia would fly but I'm more sure now than ever before. As far as investing, I only have my little toe in the water with 100,000 shares compared to some here. I don't have enough money to sit at the table you just sat at but I can buy a few thousand more shares. Thanks for all your work these past few years and I will wait with you for the last half of 2012. Good luck to all.
lol lol lol lol lol keep dreaming stockman
You are exactly right. Each of these PR releases never says they have sales...they always say they are getting ready. When the day finally comes, if it ever does, that they actually sell biosolar panels, then the stock will react. Not unti then. IMHO
We can always depend on weaseldawg to have his garden hose at the ready to douse any good news. lol
This whole forum is like Groundhog day...but eventually certification will come. Some day
Saw this today....

I saw it too on Facebook. Baltia was essentially telling everyone to calm down. The process is continuing and be patient.
I don't think there is any doubt that this will be at 0.001 by the end of the year.
It's reached the point now that I just want Baltia to succeed. The PPS will go up when she takes off but I'm rooting for Baltia to fly - the share price will be an added bonus. Go Baltia
