Flounderguy, Actually RI is the second trial, JELIS was the first. Despite the fact that it was open label and conducted on a different population RI matter of factly validated and magnified JELIS. IMHO.
Does it start with a "V" also?.....never heard of anyone being so lucky
Mellow, If I recall correctly, Dr. Barry Sears was recommending a six gram dose of EPA but of course his drug had a percentage of DHA, so it wasn't six grams of EPA. At least that was my memory.
Mrmainstreet, Rafunrafun, I think that just because of the amount of data that has been sent to the FDA by Amarin being as voluminous as it is, all of it does not have to be read to reach a conclusion. In most likelihood their are great amounts of supporting documentation and reference material including graphs and the like included in the 5m pages. That then makes the likelihood of getting through the material that much more quickly accomplished. Its even possible that their is a conclusion that gets to the essence of all outcomes and significant content within. It is my thinking that this will be PR'd without an Adcom.
Good luck to us all Gentlemen
Thanks Keystone, appreciate your picking up the baton!
BB, have a blast man, you deserve the break and vacation. I told my grandson that I would take him next year. Don't worry about the fort, $150 and up and its gone, nothing you can do from Africa, WIFI is spotty.
Thanks Sam81, eternally grateful, though I don't say it every week I'm thankful every week for all your efforts.
Shadolane, you nailed it! They must operate as if no one is interested, period.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years, Thanks for your input and perspective from a Reps view point. I, too, think that the new reps hitting the streets will make a big difference in the sales of V and think that the view point thrown out earlier was somehow misinterpreted or twisted. I think that the reps would choose to spend their time more productively as their livelihoods and families prosperity depend on it. Best wishes to you and us in the coming new year.
Just want to wish all my Amarin brothers and sisters and their loved ones a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!!!
Thanks Sam81, much appreciated! Merry Christmas.
circuitcity, kindly add my guests to the list;

Sam, Even if I don't say it all the time, I look forward to your relevant posts more than just about anybody. You sir, matter!!!
Seems to be a few, P.I.C.A.S.E.L. pronounced like the artist. Built and fly an RV 6, formation mostly.
I'm in at $48 on the close of the 26th of Nov. (Hope I'm low)
louieblouie, sometimes when you open up your mouth, the world gets to see who you really are. No longer can you make the claim of being the dumbest one here. You have been exposed, by your own words none the less! I just wish the world could appreciate as you and I do, that like kids, who have no preconceived notions about potential playmates, somethings just matter less.
Gatogato, I, like you read posts by Kiwi and others who had different opinions about what they thought the outcome of this trial would be. You, as I did and everybody else here had the option or right to take that information or leave it. For you, me or anybody else to blame someone here for your outcome in this is foolishly ridiculous. You had a choice to make and it should have been one you could live with. Now, because as it appears you didn't fare so well you want to blame someone other than yourself, as I said earlier is foolish. Better luck in your future!
Mrfresh, It is my understanding that in order for the withdrawal to be tax free it has to remain in the Roth IRA five years. Otherwise, the withdrawal is taxed. I think, as ordinary income but could be wrong on that part. I have been mulling over something similar, but before doing anything, I will seek the advice of my tax man.
Someone faster than me took "VASCEPA" in California, but "VASC3PA" is mine!
Haven't told her yet, though, I think she's a little suspicious of something. It's my plan to buy her a new house with a million dollar view and a new S-class MB in the garage, her favorite color of course.
louieblouie, I've done the same with guys I fly with, relatives, or course and pretty much anyone willing to listen to me. My widower neighbor next door who was watching her retirement savings dwindle has decided to get in. Ex co-workers, Some of these people who have been invested for as much as five or six years. You can imagine their delight when Amarin, who many of them had given up as dead sprang to life and rewarded their patience. I try to get them to contain their exuberance telling them to hold on the best is yet to come.
Very sorry to hear this, invest, and you know you have the prayers and best wishes of this entire board.
mrmainstreet, there was a typo in your post. Of course, you meant to say before 2019......You're welcome, see you in Vegas!!!
Congratulations Sam to you and your wife, excited for you and excited for us. Definitely good times ahead.
Count me in, I don't want to miss this gathering of millionaires. Been here and YMB before the flight to Ihub and invested since 2009 or 2010. May fly myself out if I can get my wife to fly with me.
Was marzan deleted?
Thanks again Kenyboy, I would never be able to get my daughter to guzzle milk, she'd rather motor oil. But, I get it, desperate people do desperate things. Now, I have noticed a suspicious emptying of my wine rack, self medicating I suppose. But hey, she's my daughter and as long as she doesn't hurt herself or anyone else it's alright by me.
ORBAPU, Thanks for the info and links we will go through this as time permits, appreciate the effort.
Thanks Repero, my daughter took various medicines while living in Kansas.
Nothing worked for her, don't know if she tried Cipralex or not. She became afraid of her thoughts being alone and my wife and I convinced her to come home. She was desperate enough to give up a job she liked very much, in a field of her college major. Now, we will see how OmegaVia works for her but I will mention Cipralex to her and I will keep you apprised of developments if the OV500 does not work or even if it does. Thank you!
Thanks Kenyboy, as of now she does not have medical coverage. When she was in Kansas and working she did but even then I was paying for her psychiatrist sessions. She has not found one out here yet as all of this has happened in the last month and a half. I mentioned EPA to her then but they had her on other medications and she didn't want to mix things and not know what was working or not. She was given medication for hyperthyroidism which she says has made her feel slightly better but only slightly. She has just decided she was ready to try OV 500 since nothing else has worked. We are cautiously moving forward. Thank you!
Chris, really appreciate your posting this. My adult, but youngest daughter suffers from depression and this article is very timely in that just yesterday I gave her my monthly order of Omegavia 500 and she has agreed to give it her committed try. She has just moved back home from Kansas where a couple of acquaintances of hers suffering as she does, committed suicide. While living and working in Kansas she tried many things including professional help and was losing hope in finding relief. She/we are desperately searching for something to relieve her depression, constant feelings of worthlessness and self destruction. I found your post, read it, and gave her a copy which she says she will read also. No matter how this turns out we appreciate what you've done. Sometimes, things we do that may seem small to us may have a huge impact on someone else.
Thank you again
I don't think your assertion that old men can't hold their own has universal credence. Well, maybe sometimes!
Now that was some cheer, actually, down right funny!
Thanks for the chuckles JL.
mrm, of course you meant WHEN, or any time after passing that share price threshold!
Ladies and Gentlemen, a little civility please!
After all, like the old Virginia Slim commercial said "We've come a long way baby" and we all have paid out dues. Let's chill a little people and let the good times roll!
mrmainstreet; my 96% confidence level was omitted. It would have been 100% but I tried to leave a little room for the fact that I can't know for sure but make no mistake about it, I am fully committed and all in.
All have a good Holiday and best of wishes for all us longs.
"Farting through silk" now theirs a visual for you! can't imagine it changes anything, certainly not the outcome! LOL,LOL.
mrmainstreet; Please put me in down as 96% confidence. Thanks!
Good luck north, hope your results meet with further reductions!
ilovetech; Thanks for sharing your thoughts and knowledge. I would hope that no matter what one's position is, that it would be welcomed and even if it was with a healthy criticism, that mature investors would accept it for what it was and either use it or discard it but refrain from insults and the like. We hopefully are all here for one reason. Welcome and good luck to us.
