Dana has very little to do with sponsorships. MP was a WEC sponsor and the UFC bought WEC and inherited MP. Then last month after months of taking (according to Cory) up to 4 million dollars they tell MP if you want to put your name on fighters it is 6 figures more.
I would think a sudden change in marketing cost would merit an 8K. If they did not pay the fee they would not be allowed to put their logo on these fighters. How did they raise the 100K for this? How did they raise the 4 million Cory claims they spent?
They had several fighters on last nights card and the total cost would have been over $30K for the branding you saw on the fighters last night. I know for a fact they offer shares as compensation from time to time. Were shares offered to all of these fighters? When will this overhang be registered and we all know any real investor will see this overhang of stock in unsophisticated hands and run for the hills.
Brad ran Hard Nutrition into the ground. They hire an amazing new President and instead of finding a role for Cory or allowing Cory to earn like the shareholders and let the "real" President do his job. A guy like Jeremy DeLuca reporting to guys like Cory and Brad seem odd.
How are they paying for Jeremy? That is the issue here. I see value in the penny pricing but the lack of transparency is concerning to say the least.
As for Xyinece, that is a great example of having all of the affiliation with the UFC (ownership and investments) and branding with in the events. Every fighter post fight being handed a drink etc. Sales results were not the result but BK was.
TapouT went for pennies on the dollars.
MMA and MMA fighters are not big the UFC is big. The UFC could not make Xyience work how will Brad and the Sr. President of this company be able to make it work? The UFC is ran by billionaires that order tens of millions of drinks just for the hotel properties and they could not save Xyience.
MP is spending money like they are the billionaires.
