GO ASTROS ..... uh, hmmmmmmm .... they already be gone, donthey?
Hi HC .... I beg to differ with you on the biggest setback ..... I think the single greatest calamity to befall us was the untimely passing of Lawrence Meeley. Had he not died, there would have never been a Skolnick dictatorship and L W would have remained a stock salesman instead of getting to play CEO, a role for which he had absolutely no credentials or abilities.
Running a close second was bringing Charlie Bardwell into anything to do with the company or AVGI. although he was correct on a couple of matters, the combination of he and Skolnick was a train wreck looking for a boken rail.
Hey gdpec,
It is a throw-back to a few decades of sportscasting and news reporting .... began thousands of games with, "A pleasent good day(evening, morning, etc) Wildcat (or whoever the mascot) football (or baseball, basketball, hockey - yes even volleyball) fans. Greetings and salutations from Tulley Stadium (or one of hundreds of others) where Our College (or whoever) plays host to whomever they are playing.
Oh, and while I was over on Wilcrest, I did here a woman's operatic voice going do - re - me - fa - so ..... not singing but warming up.
Heartfelt thanks to Malcolm and Lawrence .... we could not have gotten here without you ....
Greetings and Salutations BW ...... and all the rest of you fine folks.
As I read the posts, I frequently have to just step outside for a laugh-break. Now I understand that to some hereon, I am but a nameless anonymous poster .... and that is true of all of us, isn't it. Well. almost anyway .... many of you know me personally and have for years.
I have been waiting for some time for someone .... ANYONE .... to post the following:
Nobody can get in the CYGX offices on Wilcrest because they are in "lock out" status. After letting CYGX run up a total bill of over $64,000.00, the landlord changed the locks and nobody can get in.
For years the bashers have been beating on me saying anything good about CYGX or their potential. All the while, the pumpers were blasting me for questioning for not pumping and saying Amen to everything MS, LW and other have said.
But almost NONE of either group actually checked things out in person. You can read every SEC filing and other reports and still be very ignorant of the facts. Many posts on this thread prove that.
On the flip side, you can be frequently fed information by 'the powers that be' and be just as ignorant of the truth.
Oh yes .... some of us can be on station and still not see everything that is going on ...... hahaha. See, the old hogger can take hi8s lumps when the shoe fits.
HC, I am wearing a Chinese Noble mans shirt .... think the red and gold could only be worn by the emperor .... haha.
What was the address of the building that MC was so sure we needed? I drive by that area all the time and thought I would check and see who is there now.
As I was driving on Richmond yesterday, I had to remember your trip down it and chuckled as I recalled when all of us thought we might be made "rich men" by CYGX ...
I didn't see anyone else ... I think any others might be part-time. It was mentioned that Harrylin only came in when asked to do so.
John, check your email. You should not be on a short leash. You have been here from almost the beginning and if I recall correctly, you are neither a pumper nor a basher.(Maybe a slightly enthused believer - HeHeHe) There is a small bunch of us who have attacked when things were bad and praised when they were good ... at least in our individual visions.
There has never been much tolerance for people in the middle ground who only wanted to know the truth and did not approach every event seeking to find anything that could be twisted to fit their preconceived notions.
Thanks for asking about Superchick. She and my almost-but-not-quite-legally-adopted Chinese daughter have managed to build a multiple eight digit sales company while waiting for the CYGX management to create something to cure rectal crainialitis.
It still galls me to contemplate how $20+ million (USD) was pissed off with almost nothing to show for it. There may be people really working on salvaging something out of the ashes, but in all candor, they have an uphill battle .... more like a totally vertical cliff.
LOL .... I won't do either ....
Fred, thanks a million. That post jarred my memory to some degree. Yup, I had the Isis number wrong .... but hey, I did have some of the right numbers .... even if they were out of order.
Cindy and Randy knew nothing about the Isis cluster flop .... same with Hemco and Bunker. I should sit down with them over some coffee and give them my recollections of the history of a company that "might have been but never was."
I realize that it is not acceptable to learn things first hand instead of sitting at a computer googeling stuff that requires a lot of subjective speculation to interpret.
I would love to spent more time rehashing "who-did-what" and how lots of actions (and inactions) fit into the grand scheme of things.
Thanks a million for your posting those links. If Dell ever gets his cold brewed coffee pot again, I'll invite you both to have a cup ..... ha ha ha ..... 73
Roscoe, I have absolutely no intention to mislead anyone in any manner concerning CYGX. I reported only what I saw. Cindy met me as I entered. We walked past a room on the left where ladies (later identified as auditors) were sitting at a conference table. I was introduced to Randy and we went into his office. One of my questions required Cindy to come in to clarify. We had a very interesting conversation lasting almost an hour. There is a slight possibility that I will have a follow-up with Lex.
I said for years (and was savagely attacked for saying such)that as long as Malcolm and Lawrence were with CYXG it could never succeed. Well, they are gone now, and may well have stayed so long that nobody can move it forward. I damned sure have not told my broker to start buying. Unless a strategy with at least a fifty/fifty change is presented and documented, I won't be buying.
Somebody help. I can't find any of the posts concerning the necessity of Isis 3201 (I think) to make the CYGX vector work. Thanks. Oh BTW, the doors were still open, the phones and lights were still on and staff was on site as of this afternoon.
Actually you probably did predict our CYGX future ..... for in reality it is the fuzzy worms that can inject their venom thru their hairs and kill a person ..... or at least make them very very sick.
HC, thanks for the well wishes and the Happiest of New Years to you ..... and all of the others who have joined us in this ill-fated venture. I still hold a few shares and will keep them until they OFFICIALLY become tax deductions. There have been far too many very good people hurt by all of the incompetency and outright unethical moves by several of the 'so called' leaders of this corporation. It is not impossible for it to still be turned around, but there is nobody on the radar who stands a 'snowballs chance' of doing it.
Again, a happy and prosperous 2009 to you all.
Greetings and salutations BigB,
These are very interesting changes and yes, they are many years overdue. I guess I can say that now without being attacked by the crowd that operated on hearsay, rumor and misdirection issued by the previous leaders to their Chauvanistic followers.
The resumes of the new faces are interesting, but I think they need examination and scrutiny well beyond the readily apparent.
My biggest concern is the departure of the two men who know more about the targeted technology than all others combined ... YC and XX. At least Harilyn appears to be weathering the storm ... she can no doubt be of last assistance to the new tam of scientists that will be needed to bring anything to market.
A close second is that pesky little problem about a patent infringement being needed to made the CYGX technology work properly.
I had lunch with former CEO/Ch of BOD, etc. We lamented his fatal mistake of bringing in someone who was actually more incompetent that Malcolm an the results of their childish temper tantrums and second grader pissing matches. Absent those, we would have had product on the market long ago and would have had a revenue stream. We think it could still be accomplished, but neither of us are ready to rejoin the venture.
I do not know of anything that we espoused or stated that has not come to fruition in the intervening period. There are still a few ghosts lurking in the shadows who represent the kiss of death for the entire venture. The sanitizing has not gone far enough.
I have complained about you Woody ...
you are ugly and your mommy dresses you funny
LOLOLOL .... but you are a pretty fair pilot .... you are right about a lot of posting by people who are either totally ignorant or trying to purposely deceive ....
Not entirely accurate BW ...
In the entire existence of the company they have yet to officially test a ssDNA therapeutic on a single human being.
There were some "human lab rats" and the results they got varied widely. Yes CYGX did have something, but I do not believe it would work without the Isis IP.
I hope you are wrong on that, TH. Drs. Chen and XX (along with HM) are about the only ones who did their job for the corporation. MS and LW obviously harmed the corporation, although LW was a legitimate fund raiser and totally in waters over his head as a CFO. We are still trying to understand what FV was supposed to do as COO if so small an outfit.
Unfortunately you make very good sense.
Good one gdepc ... rofl ... if the network ever makes me an offer I can't refuse and I go back to do college play-by for them, you have to be my color man instead of GR ...
I would love to tell you .... unfortunately, if I tell you, then I have to shoot you ..... LOLOL ... give us an optimistic spin on this mess. None of us knows if that last sound was opportunity knocking, or the grim reaper making a call.
John, I really hope you are right ... I'll keep cheering for that outcome. My big worry concerns the future path of the company. If it is going to be research and development oriented, I can not understand why Yin Chen and XX would have left their baby and fled. Thoughts??
What's next John ... maybe a Chapter 11 and canceling all of the common stock. Kind of like Airtrans ... I'll bet we can guess who the unknown lender is .... hehehe
Have you noticed the carry over losses MS and the gang accrued? They are worth millions .... and of course, the shareholders will not benefit what-so-ever. Our sincere thanks to MS, LW, and our outstanding BOD.
Hey WFC, it may not be so bad .... really ... what if this is just part of Malcolm's plan to weed out the weak hands and posture CYGX for a buyout by one of the big boys for three godzillion dollars .... ever thought of that. The train may just now be getting ready to leave the station and our ship will come in as we zoom to the moon .......... we should vote him some more shares like some of our learned posters championed as they attacked me in the past. Hell man, if Obama can solve the oil crisis with higher taxes, surely Malcolm can solve our little problem with more shares ....
Remember my conversation in Dallas with your expert counsel? HeHeHe
Do the previous agreements with Mike Skillern supersede the use of the IP as collateral? Interesting question that should keep said IP tied up in court until any rights have expired.
You hit it on the head. I expect at any moment we will have a couple of folks posting that I am just bitter about AVGI being in an apartment or some like that. They, of course, knew absolutely nothing about what transpired in those days, or how close we came to something that would have probably saved CYGX. And of course, they never mention the role that Malcolm played in crossing the line to make sure that no progress could be brought to light.
There is nobody left on this board who sat in on those many meetings and even those boring days in court and had first hand information about what really happened. Nobody else here that MS lied to their faces and then did some things very underhanded to prevent progress for CYGX on multiple fronts.
A CEO should have a big ego, but when it reaches the point of arrogance, it can kill a company .... just like Malcolm’s arrogance has killed an extremely promising technology. Thanks to his pathetic management blunders, millions will continue to die that should have been saved

Yin Chen Resignation Letter - My saddest ever post
August 6, 2008
Malcolm Skolnick, President/CEO
CytoGenix, Inc.
3100 Wilcrest, Suite 140
Houston, TX 77042
Dear Malcolm,
It is with sincere gratitude for my years of employment and many fond memories that I am resigning from CytoGenix, Inc. My final date of employment will be August 7th, 2008. I am willing to help in any way to make the transition as smooth as possible.
Again, thank you very much for providing me with this fine opportunity.
Sincerely,
Yin Chen
You have to realize that we need to hire a couple of new attorneys.
We have lost the heart and soul of the company. Now I have absolutely no hope for this company to survive. We are near the end of the downhill path that started when Malcolm took over.
It was one hell of a ride and did not have to happen. Our money was squandered away by our favorite JD/PhD. The path was set in stone when he was given all those options, stock and power. Remember???
Yin Chin and XX simply cannot be replaced. Nobody else understands the science. When Harrilyn leaves, someone can turn out the lights .....
DRCAL, good to see you back ... as a long time real shareholder, I remember your inspiring expert predictions from the past ..... remember when you posted these gems:
The low cost of DNA production will almost guarantee the interest of large biotech companies, and it will become a big revenue maker for CYGX. CYGX said that three companies were already interested. As soon as contract or licensing agreements are up with other DNA producers, CYGX could have all companies, even competitors, on board for licensing.
and how about the accuracy of this prediction of how our fortunes would soon be made ....
This is no longer 2003. The science is getting recognition from professional researchers who are probably the current buyers. Licensing of the DNA production technology should bring in millions. For myself, I bought, then I doubted, then sold, until I was reassured and finally bought back at a higher price.
I'll stay with my $5.00 prediction because times have changed and the science is maturing. Meanwhile, I think that most investors will bail out at $1.00 soon.
Very good ... keep digging ... you are getting closer ... IMHO ... after all the nonsense Malcolm led us into, we still didn't remove him ... wow ... along comes a nice note to default on ...
"In the event CYGX's president is removed from office without his consent and agreement or if CytoGenix, Inc. defaults on any agreement which holds the assets of CytoGenix, Inc. as collateral then for good and valuable consideration SKILLERN is hereby granted a worldwide, non-exclusive royalty-free License to use any technology owned by, assigned or licensed to CytoGenix, Inc. SKILLERN's license granted herewith shall be effective as to the date of this CONSULTING AGREEMENT, shall continue in perpetuity, and shall bear no license fee or other charges."
Which would include by the way the recent "Loan Agreement" allegedly entered into for $300,000 on Jan. 7th, 2008 with Mr. Roland Violette.
Use the personal sbc email. I closed the cygxproxy addy ..... maybe too soon. We might have a lot more support now ..... hehe. I really wish that we had been wrong about some of those issues. If we had been wrong, we would all be much happier.
These last little dance steps just seem too transparent ... of course, they may actually bring in some people with enough assets to make legal recourse viable ...
There is no GOOD reason for this whole shitaree to have degraded to this point.
Yes, thank you. I follow along while in China, but with the free-fall, I just haven't felt like saying much. BTW, I flew out of Shanghai at 12:45 pm ... the quake hit at 2:15 pm or there abouts. Our sister company had one injury in Chendu ... a crane operator panicked and jumped off the crane breaking a leg. Any rumors when and/or if we are going to have an SHM this year?
Best to all, especially you and Ilene. Hope you are doing well.
Wouldn't you think that with all the legal beagles we have on our payroll that someone could write an understandable explanation. Tell me again how fortunate we are to have all that "juris brain power."
Please Paulness, do you really think Malcolm will ever step aside voluntarily? If he walked out tomorrow, there is no way he could pack all the ghosts that are in the closets.
Excellent, accurate observation, BW. When Dell and I walked away from AVGI to escape a rampaging Longhorn legal beagle who was threatening to sue everyone, the only step missing from the shrimp application was the delivery method. That will also be a great problem for the fish application.
The equestrian application met its Waterloo because Malcolm could not bear to see someone else make progress without the aid of his PhD, but he refused to lend any assistance. His in-house henchman bragged that there were multiple ways to underline other peoples projects ... and he proved it.
There is a very small chance that Malcolm will ever succeed in bringing any of the great plans to fruition, but any revolution against him would face the poision pill in the old agreement with Mike Skillern.
This is all so stressing that I think I'll just go to Shanghai for a good massage and try to relax.
Check your email Arn & I ... wouldn't it be interestig if I have time to drop in on them in China? Wonder if they would be interested in the data we developed from the shrimp field?
Hey A&I ... what was the email addy you used to send it to them ... if you will email me a copy of the reply, I have Chinese fonts in my computer ... I'll try to translate it if I can ... I don't laught at the fish application because I know what that market looks like .... as good as the shrimp market that a lot of uneducated laughed at ... I also know the primary problem that will have to be overcome, and it is a big one.
If you had followed this stock from the very beginnng, you would have immediately realized it is pure comedy ... just like the rest of the script for this tragic soap opera.
Hey Cafe69, good to hear from you. Recovery is going very well. I plan to be back in PRC first of March. The best to you and your beautiful young bride ... you cradle robber .... LOLOL.
Arnold, I am shocked at your lack of understanding of the real scenario that is playing out before your very eyes. Are you so dense and jaded that you can not read between the lines and see that this share price drop is just a small part of a detailed plan conceived by the brilliant brain of Dr. MS., PhD, JD, etc etc etc.
Anyone who has followed the postings on this board, especially those of the Rain Bow Warriors will quickly see that Dr MS wants all of the long suffering longs to become multi-gajillionaires and has allowed the share prices to fall intentionally. This will allow all of these saints to stock up on very cheap shares before the price goes thru the moon. Instead of attacking the good Dr. MS, PhD, JD, etc etc etc, you should be extolling his viurtues. Do you have a PhD and a JD? I think not. And once again we have tangible proof that an academic education is superior to business sense and savvy.
None of this is part of an attempt by Dr. MS, PhD, JD, etc etc etc to create such an angry atmosphere that the shareholders will kick him out and allow an almost forgotten agreement to have all intellectual rights reverted back to another MS. No sir, that also has nothing to do with the inability of our great leader to find a replacement who has actual successful experience in business to take his place.
It also has nothing to do with the fact that many CEOs stay on because they do not want a new man to be able to probe around in their dealings. There is nothing to hide here ..... nosireee Bob ..... uh, Arnie.
I'm just ashamed of you and your short sightedness. You had better buy some more tickets befor the train leaves the station.
