Yes, indeed the websters are something special. About three years ago they were over for diner and Mr. Weby brought to my attention something I was doing that I thought was harmless but have since concluded is possibly harmful thanks to his insight. As a result my children as well as myself now convey more respect to those around us. thanks weby.

Are you friggin crazy? ITRU doesn't exist as a stand alone company any more. They are the property of a joint partnership between Sony and Phillips. MSFT cannot take out Sony and Phillips in one fell swoop. More like the other way around.

UPDATE - Intel, Legend to form joint research centre
Thursday August 28, 3:59 am ET
By Juliana Liu
BEIJING, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Semiconductor giant Intel Corp (NasdaqNM:INTC - News) and Legend Group Ltd (HKSE:0992.HK - News), China's biggest computer maker, said on Thursday they would open a centre to develop home network technology and security applications.
The move was seen as largely symbolic, cementing a relationship between the world's largest chipmaker and Legend, which controls about a quarter of the Chinese market and whose PCs now carry Intel chips exclusively, despite recent advances by Intel's chief rival Advanced Micro Devices Inc (NYSE:AMD - News).
The Intel project is part of a broader move by Western firms to set up research-and-development centres in China, which are relatively inexpensive, help them customise products for China and earn goodwill by training domestic engineers.
Earlier this week, French telecoms giant Alcatel SA (Paris:CGEP.PA - News) and Japan's NTT DoCoMo Inc (Tokyo:9437.T - News) both announced separate research-and-development commitments in China valued at US$145 million and a more modest US$5.3 million, respectively.
The Intel centre, to be based out of Legend's Beijing facilities, would have 30 to 40 engineers, said Intel China President Wee Theng Tan.
He declined to give the value of Intel's investment in the project, saying it would largely depend on the scope of future research.
Tan told Reuters that research would focus on technology linking televisions, computers and other appliances into a digital home network and making computers more secure.
"It's the next big thing," he said in a phone interview.
"Many of our efforts are proactive, and from a research-and-development perspective, we have focus programmes that look at products three to five years ahead of time."
Intel said on Wednesday it planned to build a $375 million assembly and test plant in western China that is due to begin operations in 2005 or 2006.
Construction on the plant in Chengdu, in Sichuan province, will begin in the second half of 2004 and is expected to be completed in 2005.
About 40 percent of Intel's sales come from the Asia-Pacific region, making it the largest geographic segment for the Santa Clara, California-based company. China is the firm's second-largest market after the United States.

Geee, maybe its the yang portion of a yin/yang duel piece with the yin portion coming out after everyone is pumped up from the shareholders meeting.
I agree with you that someone wanting to drive the price down is behind it because it costs money to redistribute the article. There seems to be a great deal of energy behind this idea that wavx will not succeed. I believe when one looks at historically important developements one can observe the same sort of energy being displayed over and over again, example (flat earth society).

Bearmove,
With all that sell pressure coming from the followers of EquityOneOutlook we should be much lower. Why are all these shares being bought in the mid 70s? What exactly is going on here Bearmove?

Larry Dudash,
TA is a great tool but its precision is questionable. A couple of pennies here or there do not a theory validate/invalidate. With support mapped at 2.75 and a few stops placed just under that, the odds of a dip just below support a fairly large don't ya think? It looks to me with all the buys coming in now that many firmly believe the floor is in at or around 2.75.

I have had a buy in all day at 2.76. If it fills it will probably be in the last 10-15 minutes and I will consider myself very lucky. Any one want to bet a cocktail to be paid at the Las Vegas party?

Sorry to butt in but I am just learning and your assumptions about the funfactor are correct. For most people getting started is as easy as taking a lesson and being lucky with the wind. Unless your super adventerous you should definitely take a lesson. I didn't and paid the price through some dicey experiences but that is how you learn right?

C'mon yall
You had to know the crooks running the show known as wall street were loosing 100s of millions of dollars a day on what was basically a penny stock just days before. They had to stop the bleeding somehow.
Its kind of funny that this is the place they have chosen to spend their ammo. When wavx really starts to rip their cheesy stories will be like crying wolf and will have lost their effect.
We will see more games until enough of em get burned badly and then they will leave us alone. I have seen these same games over the last couple of years with some interesting dividend stocks I own. Very typical when the dark side gets caught with their pants down.
The upcoming cc will be a very important inflection point at which time SKS and company can convince the general investing community that not only is the company viable/credible but it may be a very bad idea to be short wavx.

It may have already been said,
but one very good reason why the ibm announcement did not contain a bundling agreement is that the target is THE INSTALLED BASE.

yaya,
Unbelievably I have been able to margin(not that I would)all the way to 75 cents and since I have not seen any upc action I assumed a short position was also obtainable via the same mechanisms. I think it depends on your broker.

yaya,
I am not showing any upc restrictions. Can you fill in the details of what you are seeing?

just took out a bunch of stops in 90s. They moved it down on 100 share asks with lots of crossings in the mix. They suck. We need reform so everyone can play by the same rules.

price action commentary.....
The almost constant upward price pressure points to steady accumulation. Due to the sharpness of the move both shorts and mms who shorted on the way up are caught well out of the money. Consequently they are doing their best to work the price back down but are currently swimming against a very strong tide. Perhaps the smart ones see the strength of the current and have made it to shore but the nature of the shift is such that many won't grasp the significance of what they are experiencing until it is too late to react.
Based on the strength these folks have previously exerted over the share price they won't give up easily. They represent one step back in the equation, while whomever is accumulating is making two steps forward. Whomever is doing the buying has been doing so with such tenacity that normal market forces are temporarily irrelevant. This won't last.
Remember during the placement we all wondered who was buying. That question was and still is, significant, but even more important is, who is buying now? It definitely is not just daytraders.
Lets not forget that August/September/October(first half) are typically suckey times to own tech stocks. What is going to happen this fall when the heavy money pours back into the market?

Snackman,
We have different disciplines with respect to the equities market. Your discipline is to buy and hold and you stick with it. That is a great strategy but most people who try that either don't have the fortitude to stick it out or they buy the wrong equity for that strategy.
My discipline includes a huge number of variables and thus is more complicated than buy and hold. Anytime an equity I am holding pops over a given percentage (this is higher or lower depending on the volitility of the equity)in a single trading session, I sell one third of my holdings in that equity.
This strategy, when used without emotion, does an excellent job of tempering greed and hedging against the inevitable downswings.
My dear father, who at 72, is still sitting at his desk working hard for his clients as the most excellent stockbroker in the world (he loves his job and will die at his desk some day), also thinks it is a good time to sell some wavx. The saying buy on rumor sell on news has merit.
Who hurts the shorts more? Someone who buys and holds or someone who buys from the shorts at 84 cents and sells back to them a short (pun intended) while later at 1.20? Personally, I like volitility as it creates time and space in which to act as it sows the seeds of uncertainty which leads to indecision. That is the time for bold moves my friend. Selling some shares today is such a move.
With the volitility of this stock, I am more comfortable hedging when able. It is as simple as that.

Morning yall,
I think its a little early to get amped up. This announcement, while being good, has little in the way of meat. In fact, given the history of the company it is probably an excellent day to sell some wavx.

Bluefang,
It would be nice if we could hold a bigger hammer over the inbreds and make them accountable for their poor performance. The problem is compounded due to their shameless greed and complete lack of respect for the average shareholder.
The next month should prove very interesting.
