lol well he is 70 I think, Why would he want to? He can't be that hard up for the cash. 70 is time to retire. At 70 years old you can't even give some people the remote control for the TV.
I think Logic says your right and I agree with you in the real world the Mets should. But I think the union is just to strong and it would be a epic battle for them.
They wont win. I would be shocked if they did.
Thats going to be the interesting point this off season. What does he expect and what they want to offer. .
That sums it up. They were terrible.. The sad part is this isn't just this game. Yea they had a couple of good games but for the most part the past 2 weeks they killing more rallies than anything. The end of a game. Double play against a guy who couldn't throw strikes. uugggghhhhh..lol
Jeter should have let the ball hit him. Bases loaded and 1 out and he hits into another double play on someone that could hadrly throw a strike.
I wasn't home so I missed the game but it looks like thats all there was.
He did tell the truth but why did he tell the truth? Everyone knows it was the money. Not because he was doing it to be honest. He used them himself to make himself richer. Every move he has made has been self promotion. Had it been done for the right reasons, I would applaud him.
lol Oh thank god Jose was able to find a job in such tough times.lol This guy is such a idiot. He was definitly one of those dumb jock types with no brains.
I think your right. I know some people have mentioned Cano but I think Hamilton by far should get it. I think you could send him up the plate with a blindfold and he will hit it.
I figure KC would be much better this year because of their pitching should have been better I think and their pen should have been better. Maybe I was a year or 2 away in my thinking but at times their pitching seems steller and others like they just found some kid in back of the barn to pitch. Last night they did a great job keeping us off balance.
Was a nice comeback for Texas. They are showing they are fo real this time.
Jose Canseco got evicted and he's tweeting about it

Jose Canseco has taken a break from getting beat up by much smaller guys in "celebrity" boxing matches long enough to post a bunch of tweets about how he got evicted from his apartment today.
Here's a sampling (I've left in the various spelling and grammar issues, in part because it's Twitter and in part because it's amusing):
I think Berman will be fine but that brings up the point that Thames should probably get some more playing time. Posada should be catching CC Tonight so both of them can get into the lineup.
Good to see Granderson is sitting out and requested that so he can work on his swing with Kevin Long. Everytime it seems he starts hitting he just stops. Batting in the .240's and grounding out or striking out so much is killing us when he is in the lineup. I also think some of our guys could use a rest. Swish has not been looking as qick at the plate lately. Cano should sit a whole game to.
lol either the writing is so small or my eyes are not what they were. I went on the yankee website and saw it the say way and had to do a double take.
I don't think they are as for real as much as they are playing for their baseball lives right now. It would be nice if they can do some damage against Tampa. That would really help the both of us. Boston could end up getting heatly at the perfect time for the most park and make a run since some of them are very well rested.. No Youk but you have done it without a bunch of players.
That was a great play. Shows how good Mo is though. Many pitchers would have crumbled.
Wow, what a game that was. Mo gives up the triple with no outs and gets out of it.
A friend of mine was up there a couple times. Said he absolutly loved the park. He said it was awsome.
I think he didn't think the ball was going to get there in time and when it did it surprised him. I have heard a lot of talk about him now lowering his shoulder and banging into him. Many don't understand why he didn't.
Tough game last nght. If that is a playoff preview it is going to be interesting
Ouch, don't overdue it. We need these games to.
It will catch up to him. He really seems to be hating life right now doesn't he. Guy doesn't know how good he has it.
lol, Yankees are not playing their best ball either. They are looking pretty flat the past week. Despite winning sunday night they should have blown that game wide open but they just couldn't seem to get the hit to do it. Should be some good games.
I am glad you are rooting for Texas. It might put the jinx on them for us.
Well thats why the O's are playing better ball. They are playing for their jobs right now and they know it. They not only had won their 1st back to back games since mid june I think it is. They have gone 6-1 since buck took over. Think they are not playing for their baseball lives right now?lol
Sure was, Good deal for Boston. A split and they lose no ground. That keeps them hanging around close enoough in the hunt.
That was the biggest killer. Bases Loaded no out and not 1 run. Nothing.
They should. I hope that managment gave him as much power as they made it sound because he will make them a baseball team.
lol Berkman looked like he wanted to jump out of his skin he was so excited but trying to act subdued last night.
Well the same goes for the O's as the Mets. Managment has to bring in the right people to make things happen. Brining in Buck was the right idea. If you go to the park every day thinking your going to lose than you probably will. But if you have some talent and a manager comes in and expects you to preform for your job. You either play your tail off or you go. Some of these guys on that team, where are they going to go if their numbers are a joke. Buck will shape them up.
Just say No to Joe Torre. I think Giardi will stay. They didn't offer a new deal last year. Chicago loves Giardi so it might take some more money than it would have if they had offered a new deal.
I have Mike Francesa show on right now. What is something that so many people are saying? They don't want to spend the money to see the Mets and they are mocking how they are run and what a joke it is. They did spend money on the team. No doubt. Money doesn't even increase your chance of winning if you don't have a person who wants the team to win. Managment is a joke there. It is time to clean house. Omar has to be the #1 to go.
yea, maybe if he was working on his slider instead of how many happy meals he could eat in a day he would be pitching better.
omg I thought that to. He looked like he is in a new size uniform. He really is putting on the pounds.
The Blue Jays did want him and the D-Backs wanted him. I think the Yankees were worried other teams were seeing something they were not. I am glad AJ didn't pitch tonight. Although, he is on again and off again so he is due to be on again. But it worked out good for us tonight. Moseley did great.
funny sport baseball is huh, All the sports reporters were saying yankees were in touble cause Tampa in 1st and you hear age has taken it's toll when we lose a few in a row. Then bang, what did Tampa lose, 5 in a row now? He pitched a great game, what a bad time to lose the no hitter though.
A goodbye to Chan Ho Park from Nomaas
