It's not unsolicited if you voluntarily sign up to receive emails from stock promoters....
We have received more unsolicited opinions from yourself than any stock promoters.
I agree. You have to sign up for those penny stock pump sites. I don't know if you can call something "unsolicited" if you sign up to receive those kind of emails.
Did anyone else notice that the 50 day MA moved above the 200 day MA about 3 days ago? Positive sign
THat doesn't look like a KLDO kiosk. It looks like they are a snack and beverage company. It would be interesting to know for sure.
I personally don't think pure spider silk is THAT important. If KBLB can create a hybrid silk that exceeds the attributes of spider silk itself, why would anyone want spider silk anymore? I agree with another posters thoughts that to achieve pure spider silk a spider would have to spin it. I would think that anything coming out of a silkworm would have some hybrid properties.
The key to KBLB is their ability to create custom fibers. I am confident that they will be able to create fibers that match the exact strength and elasticity of spider silk itself, even if it is not pure.
I am with you on that one too. I may dabble with 15 - 20k shares and take a quick $250 profit here and there and buy back in with my profit during the dips, but I have a good core that I am holding till the bitter end.
WHEN a deal is announced, I will be very happy with my decision.
Congrats to everyone who is making money. The volume has not been that high either. Wait until 10million are traded each day.
Remember, I received the following email from UA:
Under Armour Idea Submissions <my39@underarmour.com>
Thanks for sharing your findings with us regarding Spidersilk and the properties that the fabric promises. We are still in evaluation mode of this product and it is not clear where things will go at this time.
Thanks again for thinking of us, and best of luck.
I don't know who else it could be.... Especially if we are talking fiber.
Under Armour has a place on their website on where you can submit a product idea. I emailed them about KBLB and asked if they had considered Spidersilk for any of their products, and this was the response:

Not saying about KBLB, or where they are in the evaluation process. Just thought I would share the response.
I'm with you on that one Mojo.
I'm moving to CO in the next couple of years. Thinking Loveland...
Hey Romans, shoot me a PM.
This could very well be the reason for the silence. We shall see what happens.
mine's restricted for buying too. I have 1m shares, and can't add more. Probably a good thing though, since this is stinking up my portfolio at the moment. Holding for now.
Check this one out:

"one of the healthiest animals to eat, silkworm caterpillars"
I wonder if a genetically modified silkworm is even healthier.....
Oh, good to go. Thanks for the clarification.
How did you get an article from the future???

I tried to buy today, but zecco stopped trading securities below .01!! Guess I'm looking for a new broker...
Check out the pictures of the gym!

The other members said it had a lot of traffic and it was busy, so something HAS to be good about it.
You have to remember though, not all satisfied customers review.
Looks like a nice sized gym though. Clean website:

If you read the yelp address and the website address for this location you will see they are the same place:

(between S 12th St & S J St)
Auburn, WA 98002
Or one could just steal other's DD and say act like was their own...
That post looks very familiar (spell checker wasn't even used!):

The tense is not relevant: "requires an adjustment"
RE: "The ZFN has proven to be so powerful that it requires an adjustment in our genetic packets."
i.e.: KBLB has a number of genetic packets, already designed, and not all of which have yet been implemented, and they all require adjustment.
If it requires an adjustment it did then, it does now and will allways require an adjustment. So I don't read that as any good indication of whether an adjustment was made back in January (at which time there clearly was a significant delay), was done before the 10 April insertions or was determined from the results of them as necessary and will therefore be done in the future.
Note that if your interpretation is correct, that means the adjustment is/was done AFTER the 10 April insertions (presumeably based on their results, or why would they not have made the adjustments before doing 5,000 insertions?). Not good news as it may mean that the 5,000 insertions were "wasted" and must be redone. Would KBLB announce that or just keep us waiting in the dark for an additional 5 or 6 months (i.e.: January or February)?
MORE IMPORTANTLY, IMHO is that it's a bad sign that we are reduced to picking at such tiny details in trying to understand what's happening. (and still have to wonder, just what exactly IS an "insertion" anyway?). Far too many thigs carefully worded to be ambiguous and open to interpretation, IMHO.
Kim said on 30 March "With Zinc Finger Nuclease we have created more than one knock out strain. We are currently working on a knock in." So apparently the January ZF GMs were NOT a "knock in". So what WERE they ? We have never heard any results at all from that round! If that was not the "adjustment of the genetic package", what else could it have been? It is clear that results will not be announced in all cases, in particular if they may indicate a problem. IMHO that has to be taken into account when judging the time elapsed since the 10 April insertions (already considerably longer than the time between round 1 PRed on 5 July (but acutally DONE in the latter part of June (observed hatch rate)) and PRed on 14 November.
One way or another, we appear to be looking at a considerable delay on the results of those insertions (whatever "insertions" means (still no clarification)) and that delay is going to put pressure for KBLB to make a deal on Monster Silk sooner rather than later. (FORGET about the "best" price, Kim! Just take a GOOD one and get on with it!)
"During the first quarter we've entered into non disclosure and confidentiality agreements with a number of those companies" (30 March) OK it's now been over 6 months since then. Where's the deal? This is where the one man company thing and statements like the "lady tiger" etc make me more than a bit nervous. Particularly when working alone it can be easy to lose perspective and get unrealistic expectations that may prevent you from taking a perfectly good deal. Someone working closely with you may nudge you toward a more realistic appraisal but someone outside isn't going to be close enough to do that (or be inclined to do it). In a one man company there is no one to do that.
Monster Silk is only the first product. It is far from what will be the best product (if the technology succeeds, of course) and the potential revenues are a lot less than from Gen2. Gen2 will be a very different product and will establish its own price whatever MS does. A dealy in a deal in order to get the best possible deal rather than merely a reasonable one would probably lose far more in lost patent life on Gen2 and beyond plus otherwise avoidable dilution than it would gain. In addition having a deal on MS would put KBLB in a far better situation to withstand any significant delays in progress on Gen2 than otherwise (and right now such a delay may very well be in the cards already).
The ramping up of the population of the Monster Silk worms is, for all practical purposes ON HOLD: technically it is being increased (at a linear rate NOT exponentially) but at a rate now less than one tenth of one percent of what it could be at had KBLB moved into facilities where size was not a limiting factor. Unless it is already at production levels this is effectively on hold. If it IS at production levels why hasn't that been announced?
My suspicison is that it is at production levels but Kim hasn't announced that because doing so would make it clear that the population ramp up is not what's holding back a deal.
We could be in a Mexican standoff: Kim not wanting to commit the financial resources for facilities for completing the population ramp up until he has a dead (thus meaning a few months additional delay on production after a deal) and potential dealers not wanting to make a deal because that lack of financial committment makes them dubious and they don't want to make a deal until they see that everything is in place.
Many businesses have failed because the CEO put too much emphasis on getting the best possible deals. You have to get good enough deals but you also have to get on with it. The difference between the best possible deal and a good deal often comes at too high a price in delays and bottlenecks.
LOL.. this reminds me of politics. The dreamers version vs the nightmare scenario.
Back to reality everyone.
I hope not to :). It is always good to be cautious. I do enjoy your conclusions. It does get me thinking even if I do not necessarily agree with them
If that is the case, we are not in disagreement.
Ok, Dr. Fraser is working with tech he created which was licensed to KBLB from the University of Notre Dame.
Pitiful prices - true. I'm not defending the price
And my mention of "crossing of fingers" is simply saying that I personally, and others I am sure, hope our diligence was not based on falsified information. Not that we hope our decision to purchase the stock was based on a lucky a roll of the dice.
Yea, your right. Doing it today with absolutely no news would be sketchy. Now, if they signed a distribution deal and then pumped the stock, there may be a benefit for shareholders. Such is the case if Kim did in fact pay for pump back in 2010.
Still, I don't think it would be a good idea. The stock is more known today than it was in 2010
Yeah, I do not see any previous pump lining the Kim's pockets. No way. Malcolm Fraser is a highly respected scientist, and would not licence his technology to a crook. There are certainly challenges. Maybe we will see .03. I surely hope not. If we do, it doesn't mean this company is a scam or a fraud.
And yes "anti-hype" and also impatience is bringing this stock down. Many investors feel they can make money elsewhere and wait for some news in this stock before jumping back on board. More power to them. I've been able to play the spread and double my holdings in the last year. I always maintain 80% of my shares though. Never know when news might hit.
Everyone who purchased this stock is probably down (unless they purchased in 2009). That most certainly is not ideal. The excitement has left for most of the people on this board. I am sure we are all crossing our fingers and hoping the conclusions we came to when we purchased the stock are still true. Personally, every reason I had when I purchased the stock is still there. The hype from the crowd is gone, but I am still excited. We just have more negativity on this board than "positivity."
Some may have a problem with it, some may not. Depends on what conclusions they come to regarding what the reason might be.
Some may fear him doing it again... But then, why would would he? Maybe to raise the price of the stock in the short term in order to dilute fewer shares to keep the company going? Then ok - do it again. Spend the $50k, raise the price, and dilute 1/4 the number of shares. That would increase the shareholders value.
That astute analysis bescumbers this board.
I am surprised anyone even cares about this. What is the difference if Kim himself paid for a promotion or Sean March? Fear of it happening again?
This is a non-issue.
You are spot on with your observation about the OTC markets. That is why I am not sitting around and waiting for news.
Personally, I see no reasons why this company will not succeed - eventually. We are all a little disappointed at the time is has taken to date.
Very true. I think we all know that this company will EVENTUALLY put out some news that will make the pps jump a lot with any sort of volume. All of us who bought in at these low levels will sit and watch everyone fight over shares for a couple of days. Then once the momo slows, just sell some - or hold - depending on the news.
Same here. Zecco restricts by the average volume over a period of 20 days or something like that. Sometimes you just need to make smaller orders for them to go through.
Has anyone tried to give them a call? I sent them an email, but they have not been very good at responding. I have always gotten a response though - just not immediately.
KLDO
MMStockPlay - Have you heard any update from KLDO?
A slower week than I would have liked. I am certainly expecting some sort of update next week. They have until Friday to meet their "End of September" expectation they gave to their shareholders during their last interview. I feel it is better to under-promise and over deliver.... not over promise and under-deliver. If they are delayed, we should still hear something. If so, my confidence will be greatly boosted, even thought I still have faith.
