Been following EMKR. Lot of churning in the 1.52 range with a move up to first resistance point of 1.54. In your view is the chart resetting or is it still looking to go down to the 1.20 range? TIA
Been looking at EMKR for some time now. You seem to have a pretty good handle on this stock from your posts and chart information. Thinking about taking a position here. Suggestions? TIA
Couldn't the creditors write off the losses QSGI owed them prior to agreeing on the POR? If the value of the shares are to be worth little once issued, wouldn't the intelligent business move be to write off the loss rather than hope the shares will be worth enough to recoup what is owed? Seems to me I would write off the loss if I couldn't at least break even.
Not suggesting the PPS drop below .10 again. But given this new development, I was just curious as to how some might feel the investing community might react to the news and how it might impact the trading of QSGI.
Could the DTCC thing be a sort of standard operating procedure in these instances? The DTCC puts out a halt to all brokerages to let them know there has been some law broken regarding the trading company and SEC law. Thus giving the individual brokerages, such as Scott, to choose to halt trading of the stock or continue to do so? More or less it is a warning that may or may not cause SEC intervention in the future? And as a result Scott being the uptight brokers they are decided to error on the side of caution and choose the action they did.
Always wanted to post this
Out, out, brief candle!
Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing. Shakespeare
Luke SW. No PM thanks for correcting me. IMO they put themselves in a bad position for such little short term gain. I agree with all you stated. Great insight.
That's exactly what I took from that section of the authorities findings.
How much money was exchanged total in both transactions?
$40,000 in stock to the "private fund"
$12,000 to the "private fund" manager
135,000 shares to the middleman.
Am I missing anything more dollar value wise?
Small potatoes in the trading world. Can't imagine the SEC or anyone shutting trading down trading over that even if proven guilty.
Irony of todays events. After market closed went to run around town. Turned on radio and heard first local add regarding e-cigs. Local convenience store is selling them now and ran the add. No brand names mentioned, but all were vapors.
Hopefully the actions by the authorities ends with the items in bold. Will remain hopeful for those with large positions that this is as far as the penalties go.
It is the items in italics which concern me. Anyone have any insight on them?

Very well. Thanks.
Hurtzz does it matter in cases such as this that the shares in question were restricted shares as opposed to common shares?
That is a very logical post. Not just because I was thinking the same thing.
If the SEC does not interfere with the trading of SFIO this will move forward.
And another thing regarding your answer. Maybe he didn't want to purchase those companies. Perhaps he was instructed to do so. He did as directed and was paid handsomely for his efforts and his loyalty. Sometimes when people leave companies they are also paid handsomely for their silence regarding their time within an organization.
That is exactly what I am eluding to.
This blows a hole in some theories of how Sherman "ran companies into the ground" during his time with Intellesale.
You longs know what is in the filings; but as I spent the day reading more about the timing and addition of acquisitions of companies before his arrival and during his time there, I can't imagine the stress each new acquisition placed on the overall company. Especially towards the end of the dot.com era when companies in this sector were going backwards in a hurry. Unless he was the reason the whole dot.com bubble burst, there is now way he can be singled out as a poor CEO. JMO.
Maybe I'm wrong but I sure felt better after reading the filings closer.
ED, VLF, BOB, or HOK need some insight. Just got through reading several of the SEC filings regarding Marc Sherman and Intellesale.com. According to the filings the company was a subsidiary of Applied Cellular Technology for nearly every year Marc Sherman was CEO of Intellesale.
My question to you is as a subsidiary do you need approval by the major firm (in this case Applied Cellular Technology) to purchase companies and place them under the umbrella of Intellesale?
Well then can ya help a brother out by providing us links to those SEC filings so I can learn some more from those who have been around longer than I?
You sir are both informative and entertaining at the right moment when either is called upon.
Has anybody seen any links to what spy is implicating in his posts regarding Sherman? I have asked a couple of times for him to do so regarding many of his posts and he has had no reply. I would love for him to present a link or two regarding his assertions.
Don't have PM, but great idea, and good work!
Thomas, I have no PM. I agree on all levels of your message. I communicated several examples my self in the same manner you did.
Levels the playing field
My bad Superfly.
I posted you left out a couple of terms, it appears you did not as your information was in a different paragraph. However my post was in direct response to the link you provided with information that was contained in the link; and my question still stands.
Make money on the way up. Create uncertainty to short it back down. Then buy in again to make money on the way back up.
Rinse and repeat as so many of those who knock on the management of a public company like to say
There were two very interesting buys yesterday for over 50,000 shares each. No one will ever know who actually made them, but it has caused me to wonder a few things.
- Best case scenario is someone(s) with very good insight on BK plays sees this as a great opportunity to make a nice chunk of money in the short or long term. I am assuming they read the 8-K and were not scared and invested accordingly.
- Next best case scenario, someone(s) who is in concert with others saw weakness in the stock price and took advantage of the climate created in order to purchase large blocks like these.
We have all seen bad stocks and watched the PPS decline for a variety of reasons without someone throwing out a single dollar of support for it at any level. So why throw in roughly $10,000 (X 2) at that time yesterday unless there is something that makes one or more people believe this is going somewhere? That could not be $20,000 of dead money! If it were, why not go to Vegas and put $20,000 on black and if you won cash your chips in in small chunks to avoid getting taxed on it?
Haven't posted to the board since the first run. Still invested. I have found it quite interesting the differing views of what peoples projections (not just pps) are going forward.
One question all of the negative posters have yet to answer is "why would a BK judge allow a company to proceed with common shares intact if the company is only going to delute shareholders"?
Why are most companies trying to come out of BK not allowed to keep shares intact?
Some may accuse folks on this board for drinking the kool-aid. But if we are drinking the kool-aid then didn't the BK judge do it too?
That being said, there are no guarantees in this investing game. But I am willing to put some money on a company like QSGIQ which a judge has sided with up to this point and with their plan going forward. GLTA
Might they think you were trying to send a message that you are an equal opportunity deleter? Get everyone thinking that they better be dialed in before posting cause this guy will wack ya; hell he even took himself out for being off topic at some ungodly hour on the weekend!
Haven't been around for the last few days. Was wondering if anyone has received confirmation on their back-orders being shipped yet? Glad to see SFIO has moved up a little bit. Things look good.
#487 Checked status of initial order, no new messages and it has not been filled yet. Wish I could tell you something different.
Now Foh. How do you know what picks I am in? When did I mention what ones I am in? Already told another that I will never tell anyone how much I own, what I own, when I am in, or when I am out.
Keep grasping.
Good Day.
No one on this board needs to defend TD but your words have become tiresome IMO. I read through several of your posts and read that your "DD" on issues such as the filter manufacturer and such were dead azz wrong!
Did you call the last two PR's? Nope! Who did? The guy you seam to think has become tiresome.
You are a lesson in why I preach the power of reading the history of posters before I believe what they post.
Agree. If the product continues to move fast via the web-site and it is verifiable that it is, then I believe it would be much easier for SFIO to secure some form of financing (if that is their desire) to move their business plan forward.
It has been posted that there are several avenues a business such as SFIO can take to secure needed capitol.
Delusion as it has been posted does not appear to be one of them. If it were then the PR's would be grandiose in there wording in an attempt to get the pps elevated as high as possible, as opposed telling shareholders that their were issues at customs etc... .
I remember reading posts from several months ago stating how SFIO is a year or more from getting product to the public. Now they are doing just that. Not as smooth as a company who has been doing it for ten years or more, but they are doing it just the same.
I can read thanks. What I was eluding to was the fact that it appears that e-cigs can get into Australia through NZ. Hence the two links.
This is a competitors website from NZ selling their product on-line and it is able to be shipped into Australia. Navigating around it you will find many e-cig choices with nicotine.
Completed a purchase order for Menth-16mg Nicotine1123 entered a fake address for shipping in Australia (Acton) and navigated through the remainder of checkout. Interesting that even when paying with a credit card they direct you to pay-pal. I never completed the final step of purchasing.
http://www.elusionelectroniccigarette.com/au/
Get the quality Elusion Electronic Cigarette that's smoke-free, right here in Australia. We have both nicotine and nicotine-free Electronic Cigarettes. Yes, our Electric Cigarettes can be imported through customs into Australia.
Absolutely. This situation is why i thought they shipped such a small amount of product in the initial shipment; in-case of customs checks and possible product holding. Am aware of random searches which can't be avoided.
Would be awesome as you stated regarding distribution to a chain store. Would be ecstatic if they were selling them in the Las Vegas casinos.
Thanks, I am going to remain very optimistic that the shipment will clear customs as PR'ed. Beings how the first shipment cleared I will assume this check is indeed random and will clear shortly.
Was this exam before or after the FDA ruling?
So you are buying when something doesn't smell right? That's how you made your 10 mil? It has become increasingly difficult to believe you. I went to the store and bought a bike helmet because I have fallen off my chair laughing at your trading prowess and "size" of your account.
