You paint a pretty bleak picture for SNEY's outlook with your 6 observations. I would bet that 5 of the 6 will vanish when even moderately favorable numbers are reported. Your assessment is like watching a skydiver jump from a plane and say, "doesn't look good for that guy"... right before his parachute opens. No guarantees on numbers to be reported but, then again, no guarantees investing in this industry anyway. Major risk, and (hopefully) even bigger rewards....
HM
At this point it may be a good idea to apply some logic/analytical reasoning to our SNEY investment...that is, apply what we know with relative certainty to project what we don't know.
What do we know?
1) Dredgemaster is a man of the highest integrity and reputation as evidenced by virtually every comment made by SNEY investors on this board as well as information we have learned from official press releases. I personally can't recall ANYONE showing disrespect towards Dredgemaster, ever.
2) As per official PRs, the vast majority of Dredgemaster's compensation will be realized via hard production results...i.e. through an incentive program vs. an hourly or salary arrangement.
3) Dredgemaster has on more than one occasion stated (or close equivalent):
"My future is STILL SPARKLING AND GLITTERING."
So what could we reasonably expect in terms of mining production? If the logic holds, I think we can deduce very promising results...
HM
I think this may be Dredge's veiled "heads up" as to what is coming. He (the Company) isn't yet in a position to report hard numbers as per a previous PR so this may be his way of letting us longs know that all is well in SNEYville and to be patient a little while longer:
" Sure it will be a box office winner and people will even pay to watch."
The first part may be suggesting that results are very good and the second part may be suggesting that we will be joined by other investors based on what they see and like.
We will see shortly, I imagine...

Came across this company which might provide a starting point for what we may see coming out of Sierra Leone as they will be working the same district as ours. If so...bring it on!
http://www.ggsmining.com/files/68/files/GGSM%202Page%20brochure%20v1.pdf
Gold and GemStone Mining Inc., formerly Global GSM Solutions, Inc., is an exploration-stage company. On May 4, 2012, the Company entered into the joint venture (JV) agreement with Ridgeback Mining (Sierra Leone) Limited (RMSL) regarding a joint venture on three prospective diamond and gold properties in Sierra Leone (the Properties).

Maybe this is one of the reasons SNEY management is looking at Dubai...

Great point...I really like your line of reasoning.
HM
Agreed. Let's hope there's more to come by 5/1....
HM
I like them as well and also the mention of entry into the solar realm. Put all these ventures together (successfully) and there is no telling where the price is going...
HM
Looks like the stars may be aligning for us SNEYers:

"It is important that as we grow, we minimize the petty/anti conversations as many serious investors looking to make alot of money will be looking to the veterans on this board for guidance and leadership."
Very well said...couldn't agree more.
HM
Still long and strong after all these years...and I'm starting to get excited again.
HM
Thanks, Risk. Good to hear.
HM
Scuba,
I never thought I would agree with anything you post but I must say, "Yes, it does seem weird that we are given what seems to be a nickname or handle."
The only way I could imagine this flying with the regulators is if his legal name is "Dredge Master".
Hopefully as the company progresses we will find out more.
HM
Promising future for the price of gold coming from a giant in the business. Well worth seeing IMO...

Still here and still excited about the possibilities....
HM
It looks like SNEY would be well served by a little sleuthing in Ghana. If their concession is as promising as reports seems to indicate and they can discover the "killer" technique referenced here... they may hit the mother lode. At the very least, a buyer may be in the offing....

Dredgemaster,
Here are a few charts addressing your questions. Pretty dramatic stuff...

Before you write off the Golden Jackass as just another pump and dump I would suggest doing a little research yourself and reading a few of his articles. The man is brilliant.
Furthermore, my issue here is not the price of SNEY although I believe it will be indirectly influenced in a positive way as a result of these events. What I am referring to are what is going on in the international gold, silver and currency markets. The folks I follow (with all due respect) have a tad more experience I believe in these markets than you do. They are extremely wealthy for a reason...they understand the markets far better than most...that is the reason they are so wealthy. Of course I don't know your financial situation but are you writing articles for hundreds of thousands of subscribers?
As you probably know, there is a major shift going on in the bullion market as we speak whereby huge amounts of gold are transferring from West to East and China is well down the road to making the yuan a world reserve currency. If you have a million bucks are you going to put them in dollars or yuan once that happens?
If you are interested here is a partial list of these pundits:
Eric Sprott
Rick Rule
Jim Sinclair
James Turk
Dr. Paul Craig Roberts
You speak of agendas....people this wealthy are in all likelihood going to have no more of an agenda than someone trying to make their fortune in a penny stock.
One last thought. In the same matter of agendas, do you suppose the Mainstream Media has an agenda? Perhaps? The experts I have listed above do a great deal of their reporting via the Alternative Media. From my own experience, I have found that the Mainstream Media is not reporting the news, financial or otherwise....period.
HM
Mikey,
Here is another (of many) gold pundits who disagrees with your assessment of where gold is headed:

HM
So.....I should take advice vis-a-vis the gold markets from you and not Mr. Sinclair? No offense, but I think I'll stick with the latter.
HM
Here is Jim Sinclair's most recent take on where gold is headed. Sure hope he's right!

I think this PR is encouraging and I would rather see a subdued, realistic update than lofty, unsubstantiated claims. Mr. Hale, I believe, is staging the Company for big moves forward under new management, even if not according to us overly-patient investors' timelines. IMO those who hang in there will be well rewarded.
HM
Yes, UP! Per "Mr. Gold", Jim Sinclair:

HM
Did anyone see the latest episode of Hawaii Five-0? At the beginning of the show, they challenge the viewer to determine who "dunnit" with 3 options for the bad guy. The program finished according to a pre-set outcome. At the end of the show, the viewer was directed to CBS.com to view the two alternate outcomes. Looks like MHYS is on the cutting edge!
HM
Games being played. Someone payed commission to buy 150 shares of this company. Can you spell
P-A-I-N-T ??????
That's OK. Mass Hysteria's time is coming.
HM
Agreed.
HM
Sounds like a really good move. It's encouraging that they have the kind of reserves and resources they do being so close to SNEY's concession.
HM
Look who is featured in an advertisement a short way into this article.

My bet is that it is primarily year end tax loss selling. If it continues consistently into the new year, then it could be another matter.
HM
Looks like they're putting their energy into scooping up these cheapies...just got some myself.
HM
I agree wholeheartedly and with what looks like year-end tax loss selling, it's a great time to be adding IMO.

That's a good question and for an authoritative answer you might want to contact this guy. I'd just be guessing...
http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2012/05/top-derivatives-expert-finally-gives-a-credible-estimate-of-the-size-of-the-global-derivatives-market.html
HM
"...as the world does not have that much wealth."
The amounts are massive and that is exactly the point. Most importantly, the derivative market is unregulated:
http://www.dailyfinance.com/2010/06/09/risk-quadrillion-derivatives-market-gdp/
The lack of regulations are one of the reasons no one knows exactly how much there are in dollars terms worldwide. Truly a "casino" situation.
HM
This, IMO, is where the rubber will meet the road. Unfortunately, I think we may have some rough sledding ahead of us:
1) http://demonocracy.info/infographics/usa/derivatives/bank_exposure.html
and...
2) http://www.marketwatch.com/story/major-banks-governmental-officials-and-their-comrade-capitalists-targets-of-spire-law-group-llps-racketeering-and-money-laundering-lawsuit-seeking-return-of-43-trillion-to-the-united-states-treasury-2012-10-25
Given the above and as confidence in our system falls even further it's likely the hard assets will continue in their bull market run.
GO SNEY
Yes, I have but shorting the U.S. dollar... from two sources.
