I emailed Mr. Nelson this morning to see if he could give any insight.....

Subject: Is it true that you are not working for ARTS?
I'm just curious, especially with all that is going on in the market today. I have tried emailing Mr. Vakser several times and have received no response. Obviously, I'm extremely concerned, as I've invested a lot of money into what looked like a great company with lots of potential. If you are working for the company, and have any insight at all, I would love to hear something positive.
His reply:
My company has not been paid yet.
Computerbux, thanks for all of the DD you posted. I wish you all the best.
Tenacious, I'm sad to see you go. Thank you for all of your input on this board. Much appreciated.
We're all down, Oatmeal. And you're right, misery does love company. I'm down 82%, but I plan to hold strong and see this thing through, personally. I was quite upset last night, to say the least, and I definitely have lost all respect for EV. I still believe that the company has a lot of good things going for it, though, if any of these projects come to fruition. Am I crazy?? Maybe, but I don't see any sense in dumping what little I have left at this point. I'd rather hold on to the hope that ARTS will do well in spite of EV's apparent lack of business sense and total disregard for his investors.
I'm hangin' in! Let's go ARTS!
If that's the case, and they were successful PRs in terms of moving the pps, maybe they should continue with that, and save themselves some $$$.
It would be nice to get a PR soon, but I don't think that's going to happen if Tom Nelson hasn't been paid, as he told you in an email. The only other way for it to "rain" at this point, is for something huge to happen with one of EV's open projects, and have it hit the media, and/or have him reduce the A/S as someone else thought he may plan to do. IMO
I think the shares are finally drying up. If there are no large quantities traded, sold or "dumped" at the end of today, my feeling is that the MMs will start moving the pps upward. And if EV hits us with news of something completed, it will shoot up fast. With or without Tom Nelson...
Amen to that! I really do expect that something is going to happen very soon. No matter what, EV has worked too hard to get this company and all of its subsidiaries to this point. He's not going to let it just fall apart. No way!
I have to disagree with you on this, MT. I don't see that Pete has pointed his finger at anyone other than the company when it comes to blame. From my perception, he was only asking for those of you who have chosen to remain quiet these last few weeks - for whatever reasons - to come forward and share your insights and speculations with the rest of us. Sterling did that, and I for one appreciate it. Sterling and you, MT, appear to have more experience in trading than many of us, and so we like to hear from you.
It seems to me that we are all venting frustrations in one way or another, but I don't think anyone on this board blames other posters for what is going on with ARTS. Peace to all, and best of luck. Let's pray this turns around soon!
Considering Tom Nelson never did end up meeting with EV, I highly doubt there will be a PR, IMO. See post #26753.
I think it's Fountain Hills.
I presume you are referring to the Picasso sculpture?
Well said, Pete!
I have to say I think Pete is one of the most normal guys on here. "Negative all the time" is not what I hear from most of his posts; he states the reality of the situation, good or bad. I'd much rather hear and read reality than fluffed up Pollyanna comments about how things are gonna change "any day now, imo." LOL...things will change - that we know. What the results will be? We can all only speculate, hope and pray. I know that's what I'm doing!
Wow! I go to work for the day and come home to this? Looks like it was quite a day, but not in the way I had hoped...Come on EV, turn this baby around! I want to see volume like this on a day the pps is sky-rocketing to the MOON!!
Great response, amackin! I, too, feel like I need to do my own DD in addition to listening or reading what others have done. And I'm praying, like everyone else, that TEN Associates will be able to bring ARTS up out of the muck that they're stuck in right now.
I have been doing more DD on TEN Associates and Tom Nelson, and really need some help. I found two companies that hired him/his company as their IR firm, both in May of 2006.

(At the bottom of this first link is a disconcerting article about Tom Nelson and Strategy X being issued a subpoena regarding an investigation into possible violations of the antifraud and securities registration
provisions of the federal securities laws. Please note that the investigation began in January of 2006, and Tom Nelson was not hired by Strategy X until May of 2006.)

However, when I try to find more information regarding his involvement with the brokerages listed in the PRs, I come up with other Tom Nelsons, as you can see below. The only connection between a Tom Nelson and AEFA that I could find was an article written by a Tom Nelson about that firm. The Tom Nelson we are concerned with is Thomas E Nelson (TEN).

I also plugged the phone number listed in ARTS latest PR into 411.com’s reverse phone lookup, and came up with an unlisted cell phone number. Computerbux, is this the number you called yesterday? Is it Tom Nelson’s personal cellphone number? I can’t seem to find a phone number for TEN Associates.
I am finding much of this to be confusing and a little unsettling, and would really appreciate hearing some things from others who have also been doing DD to put my mind at ease. Bux, your phone call to Mr. Nelson yesterday was great. Does he have any website or other links that we can go to, to find out more about his company and his background? TIA
IMO, Ten Associates should focus on ARTS' accomplishments first in their PRs. ARTS already have a lot of goals "in progress", but nothing has been shown to be completed as of yet. Current and potential investors in ARTS need to see some success stories. I know they're coming, but the sooner the better, I say. Go ARTS!!!
Prior to his work in investor relations, Nelson held various brokerage positions at such reputable firms as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and American Express Financial Advisors.
About Tom Nelson and Ten Associates, LLC: Here is an article I found that gives more background info about Tom and his company than the PR that came out on Friday. Very impressive!

According to ihub, the O/S is 4.583B, and the float is 531M

Welcome aboard amackin. I'm hoping for a "bang" of a release too. It will be great to see this thing soar!
Tuesday is going to be a really good and important time for TEN Associates to strut their stuff with a GREAT PR about the fall television programming, Rhupert, etc. Show us what you're made of, Ten Associates!!!
Thanks, Sterling. I found the numbers for the float on the quotes and news link on ihub. I would love for them to be wrong, too.
As I reread Dave's article, I also wondered if the volatility of the stock depends on the ratios between all of these numbers. If that's the case, maybe this stock will shoot up fast, like he talks about.
Best of luck!
Do you think EV is waiting for the fall equinox to announce the fall lineup? LOL
I'm betting on Tuesday, at this point. With the long weekend coming, EV's waited too late this week. Seems like any news he does have would have packed a bigger punch had it been released closer to the weekend of the open house/shareholder meeting, but that's just my opinion. He must have something really huge to be dragging it out this long.
Same here - very frustrating.
Man, this place is a ghost town this morning! Please, EV, give us some news! Go ARTS!
I hope you've given someone on the board your emergency contact information, in case this thing moves FAST one day soon!
Thank you, Liontamer! I, for one, appreciate it!
Good to know. Thanks!
Wow! How did you manage that?
No kidding. I bought in at .0009, thinking it was at the bottom. Fortunately, I've been able to average down to .00058, and would have averaged lower but ran out of $$. I'm content to sit and wait until EV decides to get the ball rolling with some good news about ARTS and its many open-ended projects.
Question of the day: Is EV ready to give us some BIG NEWS about ARTS? Or will he wait through another day or two of trading?
Now it's time for some good news!
If it's the post I read, it sounds like he's talking about the same thing we were at the end of last week - reducing the A/S by half, and he's not sure whether or not EV will announce it today.
It would be great if he does though...I am so ready for things to happen!
Go ARTS!!
I'm looking forward to the day ARTS turns things around!!
You and me both! Ready to pop the champagne!
If I could afford to invest more money right now, I'd be there with you, believe me. It would be great to average down a little more before this thing flies!
I can even understand that!!
