I think mostly so they will have money to finance some high octane gasoline and a lighter.... to throw down a rabbit hole.
OK, 'Thinking about' why NNVC doesn't Do TOX:
1. They need the Million Bucks for Diwan's lab.
2. They need the money for corporate salaries.
3. They don't need no stinkin TOX as they are NNVC and the evidence they have in pre-clinical is self-authenticating of zero toxicity.
4. Mrs. Diwan's needs the money for shoes and bags.
5. all of the above ?
a thoroughly foolish idea.
They said my post was "insulting" and "abusive" .... somebody obviously reported it as I don't think they monitor every post. Funny, those are pretty much the same words I would use to describe that entire piece.
Seeking Alpha.
they deleted mine as well.
I severely underestimated the gullibility of the average retail investor.
He bought and sold a sizable tranche in the last year and made a nice profit. I would not be surprised to see him do it again here...no simpler and easier way to counter the B.S.
Dude, there are only 53.9M shares outstanding.
Diwan owns or controls something like 63 million shares...not including( i believe) a potential additional 32 million shares from the conversion of preferred shares IF the company were to be bought out...SO WHY WOULD HE BUY MORE?
Maybe not so much for the so called 'facts' but rather some person or group felt that it was necessary to expose something, anything about the company.
looks like part of a concerted effort to manipulate the price.
Obviously the short agenda is still on. About 240,000 shares in the last 2 minutes went toward slapping it down to give the impression that it won't recover, despite exposure of the lies and distortions.
an insider purchase or 2 along the lines of last Spring would be a simple and effective way to counter this garbage.
Sounds like you have not read the agreement.
Like I said, common sense seems to have been thrown out the window. Personally, I have added 55% to my position under $3.00. I may double it before the day is out.
They need to determine total cost and then that will probably be amortized over a period of time, say 5-7 yrs? Diwan has a significant stake in the success of NNVC, he has nothing to gain and everything to lose in trying screw NNVC on a lease deal. This whole episode demands a large dose of common sense.
Out of the blue, the last trade was 17,300 shares @ $4.42. Not a paint job.
With only 50.03M shares outstanding (Yahoo Finance)
I think you are missing quite a bit with that statement.
As an alternative, we got "pre-tox", something completely different, and utterly meaningless as far as advancing toward FDA trials.
Well, how about that.... the Fed is actively tapering and rates are going DOWN. It should by now be obvious to all that the Fed does not control long rates.

I think you're confusing cause and effect. If yields are going up the fed will increase its bond purchases to slow down the rate at which the yield rises -- but that doesn't mean the yield won't continue to rise. You have utterly failed to explain how the fed buying large quantities of treasury bonds would cause their price to drop.
It seems very strange to me that you believe that over the past 5 years one of the biggest purchasers of treasury bonds could have been removed from the market without causing the price of bonds to drop.
This is what was put up during the LD Micro presentation on the same date, Dec 3 --
"File FluCide IND with both FDA and European Medicines Agency (EMA)
(Q3-Q4)"
"Begin human trials of FluCide (Q4 or Q1 2015)"
Yes.
Actually it called for Q4 '14 or Q1 '15, though I think 2015 is more likely.
The schedule released called for phase 1 trial to begin in 2015.
Yes. .
Viroclinic's services, I assume - fee from NNVC?
I think probably an expedited path.
A long term relationship with hundreds of potential future targets, and yes, fee for services.
What is in it for Viroclinics?
they had previously contracted with LRRI to test the multiple flu strains and PHE will be doing H7N9 (and MERS) as well. This looks like a better setup and may be more responsive to their needs. If economical, it may be a good choice for initial clinical trials as well. Though it would be hard to beat Australia in that respect with the 45% refund on R&D costs.
The company provides services for toxicology, pre clinical and clinical trials. And that is EXACTLY what NNVC needs from a company with a BSL 3 lab so it can do the tests on H7N9, N5N1, MERS and anyy other high pathenogenic emerging virus they want to test. It's necessary to test against a number of targets in order for an approval as a broad spectrum drug and not just for the target used in the clinical trial.
Asian markets typically react to our markets. Our futures are currently pointing up.
The "hard to borrow" rate on NNVC (what they charge you to short it) is currently 9% on E*Trade. That proposition is becoming increasingly unattractive.
Yes, that would come with DengueCide approval.
Assuming success, I think there is a pretty good chance of a buyout after Phase IIa. Considering the huge long term implications of a successful anti-viral platform, maybe a bidding war.
In brief that work indicated a major top to have occurred 1/14 and extend into a major low 12/16-2/17.
If (if) that does occur and I can get NNVC on the cheap I'm loading up.
and third tier (at best) investment bankers whose clients sell their newly purchased common shares the day the secondary offering is announced, in spite of a "float" that is miniscule in comparison to the market for their drug therapies.
I wish we had a list of all the crash predictions that never came true. Seriously, these opinions are a dime a dozen and generally (and statistically) are not worth the paper they are printed on. Personally, planetary alignment is not a metric I would be taking investment cues from.
More importantly...
that donkey is ready for Hawaii.
It will take about 6 months and is due to be reported out in Q3.
3 species of animals.... they are talking about it now because it is required now, as part of tox.
no, it's required as part of GLP tox.
That seems like an inordinately long time that was scheduled to accomplish that trial.
Status: Withdrawn Start Date: December 2012 Completion Date: October 2014
I'll take that as an unqualified "yes" to my question.
So in the absence of "milestone events" you would rather not hear from the company. You do realize how ridiculous that sounds?
We got a report that everything was on track, possibly a little ahead of schedule. If that is not meaningful to you then you don't have much experience with emerging biotechs. Beyond that, it is important for the company to play to potential new investors as well as existing investors. Hence the repetitive summary of prior results you see in all the PR's.
