Be careful what you pass along to others:
"E-Trade representative states that ATNP may or may not trade any longer. "
It sounds like Etrade doesn't know anything other that "it may or may not trade" which means they are covering their butt no matter what is or isn't true/rumor.
That is Etrades uneducated opinion (at the very best) and Etrade is not ANTP nor does it know ANY of or Anything about the details of how the spin off will actually settle.
Etrades opinion or lack there of, does not mean squat to me and it shouldn't to anyone else.
ATNP's Viewpoint is what we should be concentrating on here, not unfounded and/or uncertain statements made by an unrelated and unknowing brokerage house.
Passing on unfounded statements from unrelated companies is not something that stock holders will necessarily want or need.
I had a look at that website, The earliest of it's many posts dates back to April 2009. The 'Green is Good' radio show has been around longer than the website. 'Green is Good' website and trademark seems to be owned and/or part of the Electronic Recyclers International (ERI) Group.
ERI's site was put up on the web in early 2006. The company itself recycles computer components and is the largest recycler of it's type in the USA.
I couldn't find info on how old the company is or when it was founded but everything about the 'green is good' website, radio show and the ERI group seems to be longstanding and legitimate.
http://electronicrecyclers.com/about_eri.aspx
The green is good radio shows appear to be similar is format to other 'paid advertising' style radio shows.
Zevotek had said that they were planning 1000 TV commercials along with magazine, newspaper, internet and radio broadcasts. The green is good broadcast appears to be part of the mass marketing hit that Zevotek had promised us.
Only marketmakers can short otc stocks, not you, not etrade account holders and not anyone else.
I suspect they are concentrating on marketing their first core product and will move towards other products once they have established and set the ionic bulb firmly into retail environs.
Getting that 'first notch' on your belt is a hard one but once you have established key business contacts and have your first product in retail, the big guys tend to take increased interest based on your prior successes.
So your saying you can short pennies??? Just you and nobody else except the markets makers?
Does that make you a market maker or does that make you a ____? Because it is a well known fact that only market makers can short OTC listed stocks and you are not a market maker.
Something must be up? Why we are gaping up this morning?
There must be a news/pr in the works and
Somebody knows something....
Without an actual link, this is just unfounded rumors..
"My sister in law's uncle John has a neighbor that knows a hairdresser that heard from one of the customers that..."
Did you phone scott trade?
Maybe you didn't qualify for the divedend shares but you won't know unless you phone scott trade.
The failure was in that so many perfectly flocked sheeple entrusted one of the crookedest companies ever to come out of the USA.
GM = Planned Obsolescence and ironically, shares in the company became obsolete not unlike every GM vehicle made or manufactured since 1927 when the (then) CEO, Alfred Pritchard Sloan (or "The Prick" as his wife called him) invented the term in 1927 and applied it to GM's product line.
Which created an opportune time to enter
oooops, thinking of another ticker at .0003ish, too many stocks in play right now. sorry for confusion, but all else is true regarding zvtk.
A meager $1000 gets you 3million+ shares...
Seems like a bargain to me.
With 1000 ads about to be shown nation wide, we will gain some steam and the pps should steadily climb as we edge toward the goal.
-The Retail Store Shelf...
... the same store shelf that others have taken before us.
From K-Tel to Shamwell, they all needed to get noticed by the big stores before the retailers would allot them room.
ZVTK is no different.
This company is no different then other pennies in that things take time and things cost money.
ZVTK also holds debt similar to other penny stocks (at a similar stage) and the good thing is that they are working on paying that debt down while simultaneously moving forward with product placement.
Things take time but with a good retail contract, all debt will be cleared and the company will go green with us in tow.
jmho
The big push is yet to come
1000 TV ads scream"potential" to me. Getting the product recognized by consumers is a necessity in getting the product placed into large retailers.
If ZVTK is not willing to support the Retailers with Adverts, then why would a retailer want to place an unknown product on valuable shelf space.
Irregardless of whether the 1000 ad campaign sells 3 or 300,000 bulbs, the main point of the ad campaign will not be lost.
And the point is that retailers need to see that the company is supporting them before a major retailer will step into the game.
-The ad campaign is aimed squarely at retailers, and only secondly at selling the product via TV commercials (you or I).
When ZVTK announced this huge under taking I was able to breath a sigh of relief because they are placing the product into a (required) position where retailers will have confidence in the companies ability to have the product recognized when you walk past it in Walmart or Bed and Bath etc.
If no one knows of the product or has not seen the packaging, then they will not notice it or pick it up on the retailers shelf.
....This ad campaign should Not be thought of in terms of product sold to the public,
It should be thought of as "selling the intent of the company to Aid future retail customers in picking it up off the store shelf".
And for that you need a huge ad campaign and subsequently, a retail deal.
The dividend shares don't show up in the "normal places" that other trade-able shares are placed.
In trade freedom, I have to go looking for the dividends as they are not placed in the same category or page as live and trade-able stocks.
People should phone their brokers if they can't seem to find the page that non trade-able shares are placed on.
I don't know about any other brokers systems but in trade freedom, the dividends are not in plain site.
just my humble opinion, call your brokerage firm and inquire as to why the Dividends of Dec or April are not being seen in your account and you might find out why.
After all, FINRA seldom makes mistakes so EVERYBODY that was in the stock a full 3 business days before the dividend cutoff date(s) will receive dividends.
If you do not hold shares in ANTP a full 3 business days before the cutoff date, then you DEFIANTLY WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO DIVIDENDS. Period.
I have received dividends on 2 occasions.
They both show up in my account as non trade-able at this point in time.
If and when GoTVco gets listed under it's own ticker, I fully expect to receive additional dividends (as noted in the recent pr discussing splitting GoTVco from the parent as a subsidy) as well as they will then be given a value and I will be able to buy/sell/trade to my hearts content.
Until GoTVco garners it's own ticker, they are just a number that I cannot do anything with.
I am fully behind the decision to subsidize GoTVco and await on Chris to turn my non trade-able shares into something with a pps value attached.
So the people that have subscribed, and have put up credit card info are fake as well?
If you want to get out now then get out but I believe you are just here to bash and that you don't even hold stock in the company.
Things take time and it has only recently been that high thru put has become available in ADSL and Cable networks.
And it takes high thru put to deliver the service to homes and corporations.
High thru put that is and was not available until recently.
I don't find it strange. Two minds bounce ideas off each other and that's what a board of directors is for no matter if 2 or 20 people make up the board.
When and if GoTVco gets listed, the dividend shares that we have received (as well as further dividends) will all of a sudden have a set value and a pps.
What is so wrong with converting the dividend shares that we hold now and cannot trade/sell, into shares that we can buy/sell?
What is wrong with GoTVco becoming a subsidy of ANTP ?
ANTP will still be that parent company so the shares we All hold in ANTP will still hold the same value.
What is wrong with placing GoTVco on the OTCBB board and guiding it toward being it's own fully reporting company?
What is wrong with bouncing around the idea between the Board of selling or allowing GoTVco to merge or be acquired?
In all the above scenarios, All I see is that we the share holders finally get to see a real pps value in the dividend and that their maybe a possibility of a merger or buyout.
Whats so wrong with that?
And what's so wrong with Chris holding an official company meeting in order to garner guidance and insight from the rest of the board members whether there are 2 or 50?
@ heads are better than one.
Besides, it is fully expected that every company everywhere hold board of directors meetings prior to making major moves..
Some people here seem to think that this is "out of the ordinary" when in fact it is the correct way to conduct a company, any company from the smallest to the largest.
Chris isn't doing anything any different than GE or Apple would, they too would hold board meetings.
What I do see here is people trying to cloud the issue and/or scare investors into selling when in truth, we stand to see GoTVco shares gain a set price and value as well as that it will be a separate entity that can easily be bought out or merged.
After all, if GoTVco was to be bought out or approached at this time it would be difficult to separate GoTVco from the parent ANTP.
Chris is moving the company into a position that would allow for easier take over as well as allow it to hold it's on value in a pps on the OTCBB.
Putzy, I'm glad you have found a better site to report web visits on. The numbers are more down to earth and represent something that we can all understand.
I agree, this is good news on many levels
Won't the dividend shares now hold a value?
Aren't we the benefactors of dividends that may now have a pps attached?
This is a good thing imho.
Good work, this helps us all
exactly, some people think that ALL dilution is a bad thing
and still they bash
It's good to see some confidence returning to zvtk.
It's also nice to hear and read of the 1000 commercial spots and a paper and net campaign.
It's also nice to Not have to put up with over blown and over hyped alexa numbers that really told us nothing other than they were being pumped to excess.
Arnold, in what respect??
Anybody seen this chart? says .26?? bullish?? longterm??
http://www.stockta.com/cgi-bin/analysis.pl?symb=ATNP&num1=9&cobrand=&mode=stock
Yeah, Someone was over hyping the importance of the Alexa numbers, you wouldn't know who that was would you?
Thru the new reporting site, It looks like there are now, on average, 200 visits today.
Well what do you know!
I honestly doubt that the facebook page has anything to do with zvtk
Why would anyone belive anything on facebook page?
It appears to be a fake page and not associated with zvtk.
After all, the owner of that facebook page was able to dupe everybody by putting up false and misleading info regarding huge sales and a retail detail just a few dys before the 10q.
That site is not run by zevotek or anyone associated with zevotek. More than likely it is run by someone here with an agenda.
and at least a dozen other websites (comment sections)....
Thank you for effort and the link,
I have also been busy riding Google's pr by commenting on any and all websites that have taken up the interest in Google TV.
Many websites and blogs only allow comments after the site owner has approved them so many of the comments I have made have not been allowed.
Still, I have been able to make comment on a good handful of sites some of which have already been quoted by others (and/or tweeted about).
I don't do the twitter thing but it was nice to see that some have taken to dropping a link to my comment in their own twitter page as well as wide based "tweet about" community style twitter sites.
Again, thanks for the link to the Washington post article. I see that your comment is the first on the list so it is hard to miss.
Any little thing we can do to garner free press makes a difference.
The biggest difference we can make is in riding the Google pr's and posting in the comments section every time Google is prompted or written about in the press and/or in the web blogs.
Keep up the good work,
Craig
As a potential investor, why would I invest in lcre?
Real facts and stats please.
I do like the way that the ceo is addressing the concerns of investors thru his 'fireside chats'
I'm just not clear on who the competition is or whether this company has a newer or better idea that solves current problems or advances current technologies in the restaurant industry.
The chart below is a simple graph that correlates to Alexa World Wide Traffic Rankings into web site visits per day.
It is important to understand that the chart is for World Wide rankings and not the lower number, the US rankings.
* Alexa ranks the top 2 million sites on the Internet based on data collected by visitors who have the Alexa Toolbar in their browser. You can use the graph above to estimate the average traffic to a website from the site's Alexa Rank and compare it to your own.
How to use the graph
* Pop along to Alexa and find the Alexa World Ranking of the site you are interested in.
* Along the bottom axis (X axis) find the value, remember it's a logarithmic scale.
* Draw a vertical line up, where it crosses the 'Line of best fit' go horizontally across to get an estimate of the Web site's daily world wide visitors.
It's important to note that the stats in this graph were garnered from web site owners using their Alexa rankings and cross referencing with their personnel web sites visitor counter.
Remember, the chart is based on Alexa World Rankings and Not on North American rankings.
Your friend, the poster who wishes to ignore real world data, who wishes to not clearly state the facts, who does not wish to add or include real world visitor data no matter how many times others have asked him, who continues to ignore requests from Ihub/Yahoo investors to at least indicate that his over hyped Alexa rankings include a disclaimer that states that only 1/3 of the Alexa rankings come from web sites outside of Yahoo and Ihub,
Was allowed plenty of time to see the error of his ways and to correct his over hyped Alexa rankings and has continually chosen to brush off you and I in our polite requests to be an honest and forth rite person.
He continues to adhere to his own agenda for reasons unknown.
I suspect that person is a paid pumper or at the very least incompetent (and now with his own self inflicted noose around his neck)
Yes, they are working on a retail deal.
The ad campaign was designed to draw attention the product and to make it recognizable to both the public and to large retail outlets.
Give them time, retail deals are not born overnight. Sept (or hopefully earlier) is the target date.
elsneapple, The blind did lead the blind and what it got us all was a hit in the pocket book last Monday.
So yes, I care, I care not to be mislead and I care not to see the crash that pumpers and/or the misinformed mouths caused just a few short days ago.
I care to see real world numbers that we all can relate to.
I don't care to have my fellow investors duped, either accidentally or on purposefully because last Monday the misinformed caused my portfolio to take a financial hit.
To look the other way while all the sheeple are being lead down a path has just RECENTLY PROVEN that on days like last Monday, you and I both took a financial hit.
Sometimes a person can set themselves up by believing all the hype or even worse, they can engage in that same hype.
Lower your expectations and look past the hype. Invest in what you believe and above all learn not to join in on the pump (or the bash for that matter)
-Who knows where this stock goes from here. Hopefully we will see a nice rise as the compnay works toward that illusive retail deal(s).
I was as disappointed as the next guy but I for one had a more realistic target in regards to sales.
My major disappointment is in the fact that everybody was so very far mislead that a huge sell off occurred the day of earnings.
My disappointment lies in my portfolio. My disgust lies in the fact that so many were mislead to such a grand scale that the price floor collapsed when the truth was laid on the line in the form of the earnings/financials.
The truth is that zvtk is paying down it's debt load while continuing to market the product either thru adverts or thru the inner workings of a retail deal.
I understand were you are coming from and sympathize.
But The rankings do mean something, and that is that the site is getting some traffic. But to read all the BS with high numbers attached only misleads people into thinking that the site is getting major traffic.
It is Not.
It is simply getting 200 to 900 visits a day and %66 of those are from yahoo and/or ihub.
Misleading people by throwing up big numbers like 90,000 or 500,000 (world wide) is futile at best and dishonest at the very least.
