I do not know if you have included all the holdings of the insiders in that count. In addition to the 2 major shareholders, there is also Hakkar the current CEO of Tre Kronor who has at least 120 million shares, then the other members of the board that each have less than 5% so that they do not have to file with the SEC. However, it adds up to at least another 100 million, so the actual float I believe to be most likely under 200 million.
Been here even longer than you 3itg, but to tell you the truth, I think it's about time it runs. However, it can not skyrocket without management support. We can only hope that they will do all the right things that need to be done for it to happen so that one day, in the not to distant future UCPA will trade like SHMP: over 9,000 trades/day, 42+ million shares traded for almost $25 million dollars. The low for the year was $0.005, today it went up to $0.70 and they are talking $1.5 and higher. Absolutely insane.
Hope it happens to us too.
Well, you could contact Mr. Kovan again and tell him to tell Dr.Berd to expect a lawsuit from Avax common shareholders.
Because management does not care about pps or drawing attention to this stock for the time being.
I don't know if anybody noticed but Local Planet updated their website and the global media billings have increased to almost 16 billion. So, the moderators of this board should also update the $11 billion figure. I am also assuming that the numbers are for last year since they do not have this year's final figures yet, which might even surpass the $ 20 billion mark. As revenue is customarily about 25% of billings, that means about $4 billion and UCPA's 5% stake translates into $200 million of valuation from this venture alone. Current valuation from their operations should add another $ 70 million to that.
Hey, Copper have you come across this article from June?
https://www.exchange4media.com/advertising-news/local-planet-puts-independents-on-the-global-map-with-the-creation-of-local-planet-agencies-around-the-world-90773.html
Sorry, Copper I misspelled your alias, I was typing on my phone. Good news, eh? Maybe there will be less doubters now.
Hey, Coop, this just in:
http://www.thedrum.com/news/2018/06/27/indy-network-local-planet-restructures-global-stand-against-the-holding-groups
They are gearing up to compete with the big guys.
One would think that being the best media agency in Sweden for so many years, there would be a waiting list for clients to get in and yet, they are losing some of the big ones. Go figure!
Even so, it should still be at least 4 cents/ share.
1.2 x sales is the industry average and they will be profitable this year.
We should be at 5 cents right now, based on last year's revenue alone.
Copper, did you find out any details about the equity swap? We know TKM bought into LPI for 5% or so, but what about the other way? Did LPI get any stake in TKM or UCPA? After all that's what they described it, as a swap.
UCPA is a US corporation, they report in US dollars.
Next week it's the 10-K for last year. The 10-Q for the first quarter 2018 is due by May 15th. Anyway, the industry average for the pps is 1.2 X sales. Based on that alone and the fact that they probably did around 60 millions in sales last year, the pps should be 4.5 cents. Factor in a good first quarter and who knows where it may go. Congrats, you made a great buy.
Exactly, what the heck does that mean?
If LPI is not reporting any consolidated fins, where is the $ 100 millions in dividend distribution that the CEO hinted at is going to come from? Can't be from the alleged fees collected from individual agencies because it does not make sense. You collect fees and then you redistribute according to the owned stake in the holding? This is confusing and UCPA management, as usually, does not do a good job at explaining their involvement with LPI.
I hope so, cause it's about time.If only management would help.
Then in regards to Local Planet: usually, a company of this size has net profits of around 8% of revenue, so at the present, something over a billion. Why do they plan to dole out only 100 million on revenue of 20 billion?
The market cap of UCPA today is a joke. The industry average is 1.2x sales as exemplified by Copper with Omnicom. As such, at 60 millions in revenue, the pps should be at least 4.5 cents. This does not take into account Copper's discovery about Local Planet. Given the fact that public companies trade on future earnings, the pps has the potential to go much, much higher. The question is not if but when will this potential be realized. Hopefully, this year will be the start.
Ok, thanks for the clarification. I hope it will help driving the pps and volume up soon.
I'm not clear on what does being a shareholder of Local Planet International means for UCPA. Do they share in the groups global profits?
What does that mean?
Anybody know the current O/S?
Well, Geoman, maybe there is a glimmer of hope for us very, very longs in this.
A new report that came out on January 10th 2018,about melanoma vaccines key market players still lists AVAX as one them. Here's the link:
http://www.ktre.com/story/37241244/melanoma-global-market-2017-key-players-ab-science-amgen-array-biopharma-avax-technologies-and-more
Why would they include Avax on the list if it's dead for all intents and purposes? I think their strongest points against the big competitors are the statistically high survival rate and almost no side effects. Their weakest is not capitalizing on that. Good doctors and researchers do not always make good business people and it shows.
Just saying, cause otherwise we get nothing from the company.
Very good, OTCSR!
You should send it to UCPA management too. Maybe in 2018 they will finally fulfill their fiduciary duty to maximize shareholder value, or at least start to.
A happy and prosperous New Year to all UCPA stakeholders!
What does their system do that a few cameras cannot? You do realize it can only fly for 20 minutes, right? According to your rationale, if a company with zero revenue is worth over 135 million dollars, how much should one that actually has sales and profits go for?
If they do it means increased costs for audited fins, probably at least 50k, but I guess they have enough profit to do that. It will however do wonders for the pos, it will instantly jump into the pennies.
You're right CH, all valid points. Like others on this board, management wants to retire on this and I can guarantee you it's not going to be for $10 million each, but for much, much more!
Exactly, not only he does not deliver but he has an attitude too. As if it's not his fiduciary duty to maximize shareholder value and be accountable to them. He wants our money but at the same time would like to run the company as if it were private and gets annoyed when we make perfectly reasonable inquiries.
Well, thanks anyway. Those are members of the BOD so no actual info about employees. My take on this endless postponement of filings is that this Campo guy is at the least incompetent and at the worst a crook. How long does it take to audit a company that did nothing? They should have been done in a day;even that seems too long. Something's fishy here. Hope I'm wrong.
Well, if you've done the DD, can you tell me if the company has any employees?
Can anyone tell me if this company has any employees?
Sunny did not P&D this. He just realized its potential and had to tell all his followers. Unfortunately, without support from management it's hard to maintain momentum. I would have considered it a pump if it had gone to 10 cents but it barely touched 2 cents, way below the 4 cents where it should be based on last year's revenue and industry average (1.3 X sales).
If anyone knows of another company on the pinks that has this level of revenue and trades in the double "00"s, please let me know so that I can buy as much as I can afford.
Still 15 times undervalued though.
Good one, NBI!
Wherever he or she is I hope everything is well.
I guess given the trade history of this company, many can view today as a pump. However, as NBI pointed out too many years ago,the industry average is 1.3 X sales, so it should be trading above 3 cents/share based on $50 million in sales. We can only wait and hope management will eventually do the right thing.
Correct. They have done nothing to promote and expose the company to the investment community and it does not seem they have any intention of doing so in the near future. I still believe that only when Niclas and Lars will be ready to call it quits and sell, things will change. That though, could be many years down the road.
No! Besides, I do not think they celebrate Xmass in Sweden any more. They are all either atheists or Muslims.
