thanks.... true no point cluttering my mind.
I plan to do that when the time comes thank you. I was just wondering if anyone had any knowledge or understanding of how it works at this point in time. Of course once it happens I will have to go to a tax advisor.
Question :
I was wondering , sorry if this has been asked and answered already. When and if we finally get a payout distribution through our escrow account for our old wamuq common shares and preferred shares, how would this be taxed? Any ideas? Would it be treated as long term capital gains tax rate or some other tax rate? Thanks in advance! :).
Just wondering, how did you come up with .40/per escrow share. Is it just a guess?
Good point!
lol! good laugh
Hi Biz
Actually my father is in same situation considering to refinance it through chase as a chase representative calls him telling him he can get a lower interest rate. He is really considering it. His original loan is also through Washington Mutual. I would really appreciate your opinion and your thoughts on this too! Thank you sooo much!
Thanks a lot!!!
Good one JB! ;)
Thanks! Good advice :)
Yup! Thanks for the extra present JB :0)
Awe.. It's JB! JB is awesome
Thanks! Good read
very well stated... thank you!
Thanks... lol! I thought so. I read every single post and I had not recalled a post like that. Good one :)
Hi Catz
do you by any chance remember who posted the analysis? Thanks!
lol! good one.
Thank you that makes sense to me...
What about the OL's mentioned in the amount of $8.9 billion. I'm really confused about that part. Does anyone have an opinion regarding that amount? Thanks in advance.
WOW that's a lot of $$. did you notice that some of the claims are labeled Priority.... sure hope they hurry up with those.
what an irony that would be!
good post! for now, we must sit tight and continue to have patience
Thank you!!
Question:
I know this has been asked about in the past many many times. But I'm going to ask anyway because not sure if the answer has changed. Are our new wmi shares as of 3/19, considered short term or longterm investment. thanks in advance. Sorry if this is an annoying question but I forgot the final answer.
...that is just awesome ;) thanks for sharing!
Good post... Thanks I've waited for 2.5 years, why give up now. I think many of us longs need to continue being patient.
Very cool... Thanks! hope bond 007 is right
Got it thanks :)
Bond, Just trying to understand what do you mean by 13 to c and 7 to p. I'm thinking commons and prefereds but not sure what 13 and 7 would stand for. Thanks in advance!
lol... good one
Hope we get there soon!
Me too! 2 more dollars and I break even
Thanks! I got it... bought some before market close
Yeah I was having the same problem. I have TDameritrade the only way I was able to buy more was by going to my current porfolio positions in where I was able to right click the ticker symbol WMIH where my current share holding are and "add to position". If I try to find the ticker symbol it doesn't work.
You were able to buy through TDAmeritrade? I tried and it didn't let me
I tried buying but TDAmeritrade won't let me. It gives me a message "Your limit is significantly above the ask or last. Please confirm you are buying the correct security"
anyway I was just trying to add more considering we are at the worst pps ever!
would that be 10 buisness days? Thanks in advance.
good one I agree
That would be a dream come true!
