Literally every single report and/or article I have read says that the height of WiMax success will be the period of time BEFORE LTE has become a fully implemented technology.
Did my post mention anything about the technologies not coexisting? Nope, it didn't.
I have no idea what your point is...
Luckydd, your PM is dead on in my opinion. White space has a lot of potential and if MDGC plays its cards right, it could become an industry leader.
I almost don't know where to begin so I will fall back to my default reflex and tear down your flawed argument.
Firstly, not that posting on this board is any real reflection of a persons knowledge of this, or any company, but, in my opinion you are new here. I was reading about and researching this company possibly as far back as 8 months ago and I do not recall reading any of your illogical posts.
How exactly will I have any trouble succeeding in business? Is it because I know consumer products generate revenue? Is it because I know that with each passing day LTE is coming closer to becoming the industry standard? Or could it be because I know that a company like MDGC needs to form a solid customer base by selling goods and then transitioning into services?
Could you perhaps tell me what is being done to create shareholder value? Surely it is not merging with other pink sheet companies and hoping that will do the trick. Hopefully it's not failed projects such as thewimaxking.
Lastly, what outcome might you be speaking of? I have made money off of MDGC. This stock can move up, down, or trade sideways for the next year and I will still have made money. My only desired outcome in any investment or trade is to make money and since I have accomplished that here, why exactly would I change my gameplan in order to achieve a different and obviously less desirable outcome.
And for the record, this post nor my previous post was an intentional attempt to bash this company. If I didn't think there was at least a glimmer of hope I would have stopped buying shares a long time ago.
That is all for now.
Could not agree more
Lol, I think if you do some research about the profit margin associated with smart phone sales you may realize why your response to my post makes very little to no sense.
If products will have little to do with the success of this company than there is no hope for MDGC since I see no evidence of them actually offering any services at the moment.
Your subway example also makes zero sense and has absolutely no correlation to anything in my post. Feel free to try again though.
If you are calling for MDGC to actually take a proactive roll in its future survival, don't hold your breath.
So many opportunities have come and gone since I became aware of this company its sickening. For instance, the holiday season is fast approaching, most companies with consumer products to offer use this time of year to offer either new products, or, existing products at a discount hoping to draw in customers and build some customer loyalty. I would bet my first born that the holidays come and go without a word from MDGC.
One would think that with LTE infrastructure fast approaching a company offering Wi-Max would be doing something to establish itself.
o well
Don't worry, nobody actually understands what the hell that means. This PR, and others, are in my opinion intentionally misleading. But, there is hope justice will be served! People have been e-mailing the SEC about these guys for the past two weeks.
Keep the PR's coming EIGH, I will make sure they make it into the right hands. Trust me.
lol, I didn't know that there was an actual phone being offered. I keep seeing the same pictures from 4 months ago. Didn't know they finally arrived at the conclusion that they may actually need something tangible.
Just post things as you see them! the worst that can happen is that the board hurts your internet feelings
Well, I guess a little explaining is in order.
I was speaking generally, and although it's a true statement, I was speaking in jest. That is to say, that generally, MDGC does not deliver on it's PR's when they say they will.
As far as timely pr's go, or a promise of timely pr's, a few months back in a news letter investors were told that regular and timely newsletters would start being sent out. I don't remember the exact words used, but, the main idea was that they would start regularly informing investors of whats going on.
I know you know better than to expect timely delivery on promises made in MDGC PR's. lol
Give them a couple months, they may get around to it.
The threats from EIGH will never materialize, ever. Any half decent lawyer can probably recite case law, from memory, explaining all the reasons why this case would not hold up, and may even be considered frivolous. Most courts find that unless a website has deliberately directed itself to cause harm to a specific person or organization, the mere posting or publications of a website are not enough to establish grounds for suit. People on this site post their opinions and no reasonable person would rely on the opinions posted here. Meaning, even if all you do is bash this company, as long as you don't misrepresent yourself, you are stating your opinion and you are protected under the First Amendment. Even if you don't say "imo", the nature of this website creates an implied "opinionated atmosphere".
The fact that the company has even resorted to these failed attempts at scare tactics is very telling. If the company is so delicate that posts on IHub may disturb their business plan, everyone should worry.
As far as reducing the float to 20 mill, I will believe that when I see it. I have a feeling we will see another "oops my bad" PR telling us that they made a mistake and can't do a share retirement.
Just as a word of advice, its typically a bad sign when a board has posters that literally post like 10 times in a row in capital, bolded letters. Its a sign of desperation and typically means a lack of info from the company, or an attempted pump.
Few things. First, EIGH won't be able to sue anyone posting on a public message board stating their opinion, freedom of speech still applies in 2010. Even if you don't end a post with "imo" no reasonable person would substantially rely on posts made on a public message board. Unless someone has misrepresented themselves as an authority and claims to be speaking on behalf of the company or some other organization, EIGH is only trying to scare people. Even if they try to file under defamation, they need to prove that the statements on this board are so far reaching and foreseeable that they have actually suffered some type of harm as a result.
ANYWAY, 20 mill share retirement is a nice gesture, but, still not enough in my view. Uplisting, sounds nice but I see no evidence that its happening. Mergers, sounds nice, but show me.
Call me a basher if you want, I could not care less. EIGH messed up and a PR with empty promises won't do anything to change my opinion. They need to put their money where their mouth is.
Very well said ;p
That's exactly what I did. Unload at .01 then buy back in. MDGC has been in the same pattern for a few months now! Once I noticed the pattern in relation to their PR's and how the pps responded due to lack of follow-up, I knew exactly how this 1 needed to be played.
Your optimism is admirable, but, unfortunately EIGH is a scam and its about as blatant as they come. Been in since Feb and not listening to the posters in the last week or so warning this board and telling people to sell has been to my detriment. I have not sold yet, but I will, real soon.
Unfortunately, EIGH is a pink so I may have a hard time making something stick to the company, but, I have a friend looking into it. Once he locks in his billable hours for the month he will have time to look at EIGH.
I can almost guarantee you that not only will Monks reputation not survive this, but his bank account might not survive it either. I have quite a bit a free time and working on capitol hill for the last 2 years has allowed me to meet people who have made their living dealing with exactly this sort of problem. I have NOTHING better to do than to try my best to make sure he suffers any and all consequences if there was foul play involved here.
That is all for now. I have a Remedies test is about an hour ;p
If he were smart, he would hire an armed security team just like celebrities do to deal with all of their fans.
I think some of monks fans may have sold for a loss today just to buy plane tickets to the seminar and have the pleasure of meeting this legend face to face. I hope someone records this seminar, I would LOVE to see it. You know, for all the good trading tips =)
Is this a joke?
Lol, I am sure of it too. If I didn't have something more important to do, I would go just to say hello myself. Hell, I might even say hello a few times just so he knows how VERY excited I am to meet him.
I think a lot of people will be there. But, I have a feeling they are not the least bit interested in fine tuning their day trading =)
As of today, Monk has lots of people anxious to meet him, his next monkinar may just sell out.
Someone say hello to him for me please.
I am on the phone with someone about Monk right now. Someone who owes me a favor will be looking into this EIGH situation, specifically Monk's involvement with this company and the others that he promotes. The last person I had them take a look at, for a COMPLETELY UNRELATED MATTER, was fined 3.7mill, still has 2 pending federal cases, and more civil cases pending, in I think 9 states, than I care to count.
If there was any foul play involved here, I hate to say it because it sounds so cliche, but, Monk screwed the wrong person this time.
Could someone please provide me with an e-mail address for 8000 Inc?
I want to give the company the opportunity to fix the mess they have created before I set some events into motion that will cause some real problems for them.
Thanks
I have a reputation on this board for being a basher so I can't post things like that ;p
Lol, that did make me pretty curious though. When I read the PR I was kinda thinking to myself "why the hell do you need antennas and you have not manufactured a phone yet?"
But, the joy of trading this stock rather than investing gives me the ability to not care either way =)
Only thing about that is, or at least my relatively uninformed interpretation of it, the company is CURRENTLY not doing a great job at setting up a pps explosion, ever.
The company is aligning itself with other pinks that are really in no better of a position than MDGC. All of the companies have dreams and plans of doing great things but I have seen no material evidence of REAL PROGRESS. That is not to say JV's and things are not progress, but, by material I mean show me a damn phone. Show me that I can go buy your gps. Show me where and how to access this super fast technology you claim to have. SHOW ME SHOW ME SHOW ME. I don't want pictures, I don't want "Val" to tell me how great their hardware is, tell me how I can put it in my hands and see for myself. Period.
For these reasons I decided a couple months back that this company is not an investment, its a trade. Ever since I have adopted that view, I have made money.
Ahh, I gotcha. Like I said, i missed the previous posts and was just confused.
I also don't really follow baseball ;p
I probably missed some of the background posts but the capital letters in your heading caught my attention.
In order for a short squeeze to occur there would need to be a shortage of available shares. FINRA numbers don't show that there is a significant enough short interest in MDGC for a squeeze to happen. I have personally never had an order not fill immediately, either at bid or ask, when buying MDGC.
I don't see a squeeze as even a remotely possible outcome given the current circumstances and/or the companies actions.
Can anyone provide me with an e-mail address to contact EIGH?
Thanks
My 1 post for the day!
Still seems some people are failing to realize that this stock is being manipulated. I will not try to guess to what extent the manipulation is happening, but, it should be quite obvious to you people.
Next, why the hell are there people still bringing up this issue about tax forms? Since I know how to read, I will do some explaining for those of you who don't possess this rare ability. Many brokerages, such as Scottrade, ALREADY HAVE your tax information! Meaning, NO ACTION on your part is required in order to receive whatever dividend we do end up getting. To further elaborate, the term "no action" in this case means you can go to sleep the day before the dividend and when you wake up, eat breakfast, and give your broker time to handle some paperwork, your money will magically be deposited into your trading account.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, if there is a short interest in EIGH, covering will need to happen. That is a matter of fact that no intelligent person should attempt to dispute. If you find yourself wanting to argue, read the sentence again and maybe talk it over with an intelligent friend. If there is a short interest it does not matter who the CEO is, what address the company is registered under, and whether or not Monk is being investigated by the SEC, CIA, FBI, the president of the united states, or the Queen of England, the short shares still have to be covered.
**Just as a side note, if, for ANY reason, I don't get my dividend the day I am supposed to get it, my next post of the day will express my conclusion that EIGH is a scam.
That is all for now
Can someone explain to me why there seems to be selling going on when we have a confirmed statement from the company that there are a significant number of shorts?
Also, why are people selling prior to Oct 15th? Doesn't this mean they won't get the dividend?
I am just not understanding why this stock is going down. I don't actually care that its down in the short term, but, it doesn't really make sense to me.
This is exactly that range that C*** hovered in for a while before it shot up to like .73 one day without warning, or a PR or anything. People need to stop worrying so damn much about EIGH and just let it do its thing and make us all some money.
This is a question based purely off of curiosity, but, could the Sprint execs be "dropping off of the Clearwire board" because of their agreement so sever their contract if they choose to in the future?
If I had to speculate, and the Sprint execs are really leaving the Clearwire board, I would say its because their contract is either about to be changed, or, coming to an end in the foreseeable future.
I guess nobody remembers me saying exactly this 6 months ago ;p
I said "Val" didn't know what he was doing and 90% of the posters on this board thought I was a basher. This is by far the most interesting board on all of ihub.
Wonder what will happen when my posts from last week come true in another few months. lol
That post is about 6 months old, I think I'm missing something.
I am a little confused. Firstly, let me say I do not intend to sell in the near future, I still have every share I bought starting on Jan 20 2010.
Anyways, my question is this, what is the exact date people can sell and still get the dividend? I have seen posts ranging from Sept 27th to October 15th and just about every day in between.
The reason I ask is not to time my exit, I just want to know when to expect other people to sell. I have serious doubts that all of the people who have started posting on this board in the last 3 weeks shouting from any rooftop they can find about "the den and teamwork" intend for this to be a long play and I am trying to figure out when I can expect them to sell.
I find it quite entertaining that with absolutely no knowledge about how many shares I own, or the average pps at which I bought them someone can conclude I'm going to take a loss.
If only those super powers actually existed, they may have a use for this guy on Wall Street. He could be nicknamed Ms. Cleo
I think she went to jail though...something about claiming to know things that were impossible for her to have actual knowledge of.
This is no way answered my question and I decided quite some time ago that you have no idea what you are talking about. Everything you have posted on this board is wrong.
Question. I don't really follow this board anymore so if this has been covered then please allow me to apologize in advance.
Does MDGC currently have, or, are they working on any IP rights for "white space" or whatever the term was that they are planning to utilize?
Question that needs clearing up please.
Ok,so I know shareholders of record on Sept 30 will get the Div, or maybe its Oct 1, can't remember. But, my question is this, will the MM's need to close their short positions by that time? As in 2 days?
lol, MM's can play games today if they like, but, by Sept 30 the games better stop or they will have a real problem on their hands.
Seems like MM's are playing a game of chicken with a brick wall. EIGH being the brick wall. wonder who wins? ;p
