gman...FACT IS....he "reported" that he sold.."a substantial portion of MY holdings"....INTO THE HOLE...at the mid 17's....and he's been scrambling like a RAT IN A MAZE since!!!......
its too bad that you didnt post the price as you we're getting filled like gman did....we now have to take your word for it..good luck w/ that!!
ed...isnt the most relevant number...idc 4 vs qcom 30...thats a 7.5 to 1 ratio...vs more than a 65 to 1 mkt cap ratio!!!
dave...im not one much for legal jargon...but it looks like they're bringing in the professional hacks [to appear pro-hac vice]....im a really escared now!!!!
sorry my partner must have logged into ihub on my computer....anyway he's me and i agree w/ him
amen...brother!!!
oh really!!
"when will they be offloading qcom to take a gain"...probably at the same time they'll be buying some idc from me at 56
i would think only a small pct of rimm handhelds are 2g/3g enabled...less than 1/3...most of rimm handhelds work on the old pager network [i think]...in the future the 3g enabled handsets will be the dominant pct...the original blackberry was nothing more than a text message system over a pager network...that happened to work pretty well [every little wall street drummer boy had one]
are you implying that it is a problem they would not have if somehow you were in charge?
you sound as if you think you can do better....i say you have no idea what your talking about...where are you gonna sue LG..in korea?...in japan?...in europe?...your sure as hell not gonna sue them in the US for nonexistent 3g sales...i think you should really think things over before making statements like that...your impatience shows through...impatience is not the #1 thing an employer is looking for
ive already anticipated and positioned myself accordingly
maybe because 3g was so far down the road in the past..we over-estimated the anticipation....3g is here...anticipation of 3g liscences cant be far behind....unless idc is immune to ANTICIPATED EARNINGS at this point
when i say 5% ...i talk about the MINIMUM level i expect idc to attain...i guess my center of gravity on what i expect long termn is about 15-20%
you simply dont know that...we could catch fire in anticipation of those liscences...or for some other reason...blanket statements such as yours dont do the market mechanism justice
57.7byn dlr mkt cap....even 5 measly pct is 2.35 byn or 41 dlrs per share of idc.....go qcom
how long after nokia did samsung file for arbitration?
avg px trade...most likely from yesterday...18.7155 is actual px
try making some "innocent little comments"...that dont make my ears bleed......try expressing your fustrations in a more productive manner...gardening comes to mind!!
leon....there's nothing like a down day...to bring out the best in idc shareholders....they are at their best when the going is good!!
you should do the same
buyers about to run w/ the ball
we broke out of our trading range..idc announced acvcounting for sanyo [large pct of 27myn was for cdma2000]...idc moved from russell 1000 to russell 2000....200dma at 19.40...we'll see 20 this week
we are consolidating our recent up move just under the 200dma
from the looks of the trading on friday...vs the amount of money indexed to the russell 2000....id say we have a ways to go on this trade....before everyone who needs to buy idc as a compnent of the russell 2000 finishes their purchases.....i think something like 1.5 trillion is indexed to the russell 2000...even if idc is 1/10th of 1%...thats a lot of dough
yes...bloomberg now has us listed in the russell 2000....no index weighting available yet
try my post from last evening
ok ...ive had a few pops and took a shower and here is my best guess...a series of derivative contacts had been entered into by both the buyers and sellers of russell 2000 and 1000 index stocks....these contracts were based on average prices over a period of time[1 day to 1 week]...these contracts were all settled after the close based on those average prices...probably more contracts were written than actual shares changing hands...all in all...its just one big settlement...the shares are in good hands...and six million shares changed hands on an up week....THATS RIGHT GEJIM.....I LOVE THE VOLUME
they look like average price trades...i dont have my bloomberg...they give the code that says whether they're real time or not...why not cross the whole piece in one shot?
the beat goes on 2.914myn
definitely not heartland selling to fidelity
unbelievable.....i cant imagine this is the way this russell rebalancing works out...could it be my theory about money coming in as a result of the rebalance is totally wrong...could it be something else?
i love the volume numbers...the trades are done!!!....its gonna look great on the weekly chart
ive got 2,303
and now we're back at the 2.1 myn shares traded that was flashed just after 4pm....these trades we're prearranged for sure
this is pretty freakin amazing..do you think this is index related?..or something else....im not so sure that we find out today whether idc moved from the russell 1000 to the 2000+
these trades had to have taken place at a prior time
and now a whole bunch of prints at 18.58 again
there were a couple of average price trades in there also...the average could only have been from a prior day...i wouldnt make anything of this..the trades are done....and i dont think it portends any type of bad news in the near future...the person who did the selling would be crucified by the dealer who handled the trade and sec/nasd if they did this w/ bad news in the offing
