Schwab showing last price at $25.00.
Check after hours!
Okay John, if the market makers would try to bring the price down for any reason upon word of a settlement, it would be my pleasure to buy more shares. I mean no offense to you.
John, I don't think there would be any "tight range".
surman, Friday, August 14, 8:15 p.m., Eastern.
JD, good show! It's good to see you.
The guest on CNBC stated a settlement is expected with Nokia.
Now that is getting the anticipated news out there!
Bill, I agree and hope some posters will provide some strategies to protect against any downside on August 14th. I certainly need any advise/information I can get.
nicmar, he is still hanging!
Okay guys, don't stop posting as we have to hold this gain today. LOL
rmarchma, I enjoyed reading your response to Nessco in regard to being in or out of IDCC along this bumpy road. Based on your comments I don't see how anyone could argue that you didn't do the proper thing under your circumstances at the time. As you know, many of us are high risk takers and remain clinging to our vision of what we believe and hope should be in store for IDCC in the near future. MO
Schwab Street Smart Pro listed that 59K after hours trade as a sell.
Danny, thank you for the site to obtain pre-market and after hours trades. I saved it for future use.
Someone, please post the after hours trades for IDCC. Thank you.
nessco, well said! Oh gejebr3, Jim's comments against the two posters are his opinion although not stated. Why must you keep rubbing it in by displaying his quote on your responses when Jim has asked that we back off on the personal attacks. You act very immature!
TheGame, thank you for taking the time to explain your IDCC experience over nearly 10 years. You won't see many posters being so bold as they would have to be prepared to be called an impostor or worse for expressing their opinion. Jim now refers to them as "IHUB police" so I guess we won't see much change in the future. In my opinion, he is partial to certain posters who may not post much of substance concerning IDCC but are tolerated. It seems any display of emotion on this board whether it be good or bad is questioned/attacked by the few homesteaders and vigalent protectors of what I'm not sure.
I wish you good luck in your investing career. You are young and informed so you have plenty of time to execute and follow your investment plan.
CNBC-Najarian, on Fast Money picked IDCC as his stock of the day yesterday. There was no discussion.
gejebr3, please! I wonder if you could be just a little more mature? Enjoy the day IDCC is giving you and stop with the garbage.
I hope you will admit to being just a little nervous.
JimLur, perhaps you would consider refraining from public criticism of Mickey Britt and his misfortune. To me, your expectations are pretty rigid for a public message board that charges a membership for improved service and less aggravating accessibility through the maze of pop-ups, ads, etc.. In my opinion, Mickey has expressed his many opinions in a way which accomodate your requirements. I recognize you had to bring him in to line more than once. However, his opinions are his own. I have found your reference to his past experience with investing in IDCC unbecoming to a man of your stature. I acknowledge that Mickey probably gives us more information about his personal life than others but that is his style.
Thank you for your consideration.
pochemunyet, trading IDCC at this point seems rather illogical to me when we have lost many thousands of dollars holding through this fall in share price. I guess your thought just sounds to ambitious to me for the net result.
gatticaa, I think the majority of us are reflecting on what we did or didn't do today. It is good to read what some IDC holders were thinking during the market day and the conclusion they reached.
Well boys, I'm glad I wasn't home today to watch the demonstration on what happens to a snowball when it rolls down the hill. I have to admit I would have sold some shares today but I will probably be able to add more tomorrow, no problem. You see, it works either way, I think.
Micktoo
Mickey, welcome back old friend!
JimLur, please send me your personal email address.
Thanks.
Loop, what took you so long? LOL
hhhhhhhhhhhhh
AndrewNCU, you asked at what price would I sell the stock.
I have been in this stock since 1996. I was fortunate to sell about 75 percent of my position in December 1999. I agree with Jim that most of the investors who were around in 1999 or earlier have more shares than you imagine and at a pretty low average cost per share. If you experience a great run with this stock you will know when to sell. I think one of the most important things to remember is don't get greedy.
I know it will be extremly difficult to pull the trigger but it will change your life financially and especially so for the younger investors. Wow, just think of the financial foundation you will have established. The old timers could sell now and walk away and never be concerned about establishing wealth. But they won't and I won't.I have one more suggestion, always hold some IDCC. Good luck!
I noticed this buy in AH. 25.62, 31,319, 16:56.
Enough!
stant18946, I thought of your message earlier today. Thank you for congratulating those who are "still in" IDCC. I hope you can get back in the stock as soon as your cash is available.
sjratty, sorry to hear of your loss. My sympathies to you and your family. Mschere was one of the foundation blocks on this board.
Let's take a step forward rather than a step back.
MTJBKH, thanks. EOM
JimLur, if IDCC was buying today that may explain the stock being supported throughout the day for some reason.
I don't think I have ever seen such a narrow trading range with IDCC. At this point in the market day, 20.96 to 21.04
JD Gator, I enjoy and respect your posts on this board when devoted to the subject of IDCC. However, your comments concerning Wanda002 are totally off base.
GoIDCC, Administrative Law Judge
JD GATOR, thanks for taking the time to make your statements concerning our position. I think they are very timely and demand our attention which probably suggests we should get back on track.
Welcome to the Board.
I did just now but I didn't see it before. We must maintain this important humor in the IDCC archives.
