Your strategy is correct, but backwards.
You wager $5, if you win you pocket the winnings and bet $5 again.
If you lose, you double to $10.
And continue to double on your loss, until you win and pocket a $5 profit on any 2:1 wager.
After you win, you always start back at $5.
This strategy can also be applied to betting of red/black on roulette or also the craps table. The only defense casino's have is table limits which prevent you from breaking them this way (as did a Saudi sheik many years ago using this method)
The doubling process is a simple one. For a mathematical advantage you should study and know Fibonacci numbers. Everything in nature is based upon fibo's, it is truly amazing once you understand it. Check the ihub board, read the first couple articals, and you will be amazed.

Just give him a phonecall. I think he is home right now because of the snow in DC. He likes it when people want to talk to him, remember all those requests for people to email him? If he happens to not pick up right away just let it ring. If he hangs up on you accidentally, just try back in a few minutes. I'm hoping to get his work number so I can get in touch with him there on a regular basis.
I have referred his name and number to a few people.
He is an economic terrorist and should be dealt with as such.
I have checked the RB board for the first time in a long time. What a joke. I had to TOS many of theguru's recent posts, I hope that others do the same. I heard texguru was posting his phone number all over some gay chatrooms lastnight? Strange behavior indeed.
I think he should change his name to gotPOT, then at least he would have an excuse for being so incoherant, ha ha ha.
"I will not dont trust Mr. Matin with one penny."??????????????
Are you trying to quote some Dr. Seuss to us?
I will not trust him with one penny
would not trust him if I had any

Bob,
I have suggested this to Matt and he thought it was a good idea and he told me to mention it to you.
How about starting a link to Ihub Classifieds. Nothing fancy, but a place that members can buy, sell, trade, barter, personal crap, stuff, and services amongst each other.
It wouldn't have to operate much differently than a regular board, just a list of ads, perhaps self-deleting after 30 days. Having such a board might also create a revenue stream by offering member ads for free but charging a small fee for professional ads which appear at the top of the ad list (much the same way Ebay does with 'Feature auctions')
It seems the programming of it would be rather simple, it might make some money, and it would be a good service for members. All it needs is a bit of design and a link at the top of the page.
Watchya think?
I'm sure that is in the TOU agreement by now isn't it?
Starfe Phish?
At first I just thought he was an idiot. Then I considered him an Economic terrorist, trying to destroy citizens investments by spreading lies and false stories on bulletin boards. Now I have discovered that he is a butt pirate as well as a turd burglar.(not that there is anything wrong with that, hahaha) He must be punished for these crimes.

Interesting only because I thought he was married.
I liked that one too. :) But then again I may be a little bias
pogey is just Newfie slang for 'winter job' with better hours and more screech, ha ha ha.
It was posted on Raginbull by someone today. I don't go over there, but received an email telling me there was info worth reading on the board today.
I'm sure that either the long arm of the law and the strong arm of the out-law will catch up to TG soon. Perhaps both.
Yes, ha ha ha. It is the second province from the West, just north of the west edge of Montana.
My shirt arrived here to Canada today. Thanks alot, it looks great.
Look here is the neighborhood that TG lives in.

I sure hope that none of you starts sending harassing letters and packages to him, or calls his house at all hours from payphones. I also hope nobody tracks down his employer and sends me that information. I would hate to disrupt his life, employment, etc.
Please don't bug this guy, even though he has posted false and malicious information trying to hurt your investment and make you lose money. Let's fogive him, saddam, and micheal jackson.

I'm sure they will be very friendly to him and thank him for his interesting posts on the chat boards. I hope they get there to say hi before somebody else stops in a beats the living sh*t out of him. It would be a pity if he was hospitalized and not home to welcome them. We all know that violence is not the answer to dealing with someone like him.
Victoria Duff should lend them a hand. You would think that with her experience she wouldn't be so incompetant and would help steer the company and adivse (no pun intended) Javeed on what he should be doing.
What the hell does she do all day, sit at home and smoke and watch soap operas? She better get to work if she wants to retain any of the business credibility she might have once had. If this company fails or proves to be a scam, she will never again have any credibility in any investment community and will be permanently on her CV. Get it Tory? Kick Javeed in the ass and get some results out of him.
That is correct shrotker. I bought some more today but couldn't get a fill under 2 cents even when the ask was at 1.9
I still believe that there is a legitimate business that will eventually justify a higher shareprice, even with all of the crap and controversy. Just the poorest management that I have ever seen.
I think you will make a fine CEO, I just hope that you are more effective at advancing information to the public and to shareholders than our current leadership.
The share price sucks and there is still a few weeks until we likely see audited financials. Nothing you can do but wait or buy more. Enjoy the ride and lets hope for something fantastic.
I appreciate everyone here who is willing to take this calculated risk and gamble on VLVT. With all of the crap and BS that has surrounded the stock, it will be a fine reward for us all if things turn out in our favour. I'm still betting that underneath all of the criticism and innuendo, this stock is a real company that is doing its best to try to make money, and that will be reflected in legitimate financials before the end of this quarter.

Then again who doesn't enjoy a good picnic? Beats the hell out of the whole tooth decay and dentist thingy.
Why would you post here directed towards someone who is not a member of Ihub?
Too bad for Cathy you didn't get on hole, ha ha ha.
"I would have been on hole for cool $30K"-freeadvise
HA HA HA, thats a good one.
Seriously though, I caught wind of the problem in Memphis a few days ago. Definitely not an ideal situation, but also not anything worth jumping off a roof about either.
I think the basic facts minus many contentious details are that Veltex is indeed in business and generating revenue of some sort. That in itself is enough to make this gamble worth the ride for now. Even if they only make 4 or 5 million dollars, it will demonstrate great progress and legitimacy to this stock. I'll be content if they can just get established and stable in the next few months.
The audit is only the first step in that process, but it is the most necessary at this time.
By stating that some little guy sounded like a cab driver, are you attempting to make a racial slur of some sort? If so, it hardly adds to your credibility.
Is that an abbreviation for Imbecile? ha ha ha. I don't know that stock or board, but i don't think testing upon live subjects, let alone ones who are already bitching, is a good idea. No matter what Matt does, they will find fault with it. A no-win situation.
I just felt the need to butt in because everyone else got too, ha ha ha.
I don't think that is an outlandish request.
However, the last promo items that I ordered did not carry the name or brand of the manufacturer. They were a rebranded product sold under the label of a 'name-brand' company.
I do not profess to know anything regarding VLVT's textile products and their marketing. manufacturing, or distribution. I do know that if I was producing products in a third wold factory, or even China for that matter, I think I would enjoy better market success by not publicizing that fact. I can't say that is what is going on here.
The stock still remains a 3 cent specualtion with odds that are somewhere between roulette and blackjack. It is definitely a gamble, and I as a shareholder can do nothing but wait for the dice to hit the table and accept the results. I hope everyone else is as okay with I am about the risk we are taking and as resigned to accept the results of our gamble. It's all apart of the game, and what makes this fun.
I would think that if one wanted to conduct a 'test', it would be better conducted in a less volitile environment and under stricted conditions in which it's perfomance could be monitored and evaluated.
I don't think conducting a test on the EDIG board can result in a favorable outcome. Whatever happens, somebody will be whining and crying about it. It's a no-win situation for you and Ihub, IMHO.
That's a little melodramatic but a humerous reaction nonetheless. I don't think you are correct about your 1 cent prediciton, but it wouldn't be any fun if we all agreed on everything. I'll still hold and wait for audited financials.
I don't think that much has changed. Andy and his warehouse deal are gone, along with his leased trucks, but that is not a major blow to the company. Veltex still owns their own trucks and can pick up more owner/operators like Friedel had working for him.
The transition will be the only disruption and that should only be for about a week as the trucks are moved out to CA and it should hardly disrupt income flow beyond that. Trucks are busy in every part of the country, and VLVT will have no trouble finding work for the rigs out west.
I find it hilarious to see all the wolves in sheeps clothing start to show their true colors at the slightest opportunity.
I'll wait for the audit and make my decision then.
My undersanding of what transpired there is that some Veltex money is 'missing' or was used by Andy for non-Veltex items, and this is the issue that ultimately lead to the current situation.
There is a bit more to the terminating of Andy than is being mentioned, but suffice to say that it is probably better for everyone.
Todays PR was a great improvement over previous ones. It contained a bit more detail and addressed at least 3 questions and concerns that have been expressed in the past.
Hopefully come time to release news on the audit they have developed the skill to write a proper PR and we will experience good things as shareholders.
EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey (Ticker) -- The New Jersey Devils are grateful to Jacques Lemaire for all that he has done for them, but that does not mean they wanted to lose to their former coach.
Martin Brodeur needed just 19 saves to make history and Jamie Langenbrunner tallied the eventual game-winner in the third period to lead the New Jersey Devils to a 3-2 victory over the Minnesota Wild.
Brodeur, who has won a pair of Stanley Cups with the Devils, became the first goaltender in NHL annals with eight straight 30-win seasons. He leads the league in wins and is second in goal-against average while helping New Jersey to the second-best point total in the Eastern Conference. The Devils trail the Ottawa Senators by one point.
"I'm up for anything," said Brodeur, when asked if he could win MVP honors in the league. "It doesn't really change much in my life either. They're fun to get. Just to be recognized and talked about is flattering. I play to have fun and to be successful and that's the reason why I committed myself to staying in New Jersey. But I don't get worked up much about these things."
Colin White and Patrik Elias each recorded a goal as the Devils bounced back from Friday's 4-2 loss to Atlanta to improve to 13-1-1-1 in their last 16 contests.
"Everybody was on the same page," New Jersey coach Pat Burns said. "I thought everybody played the same game, which you had to against this team. We knew it was going to be tough. We played hard and we played well."
New Jersey also remained undefeated against Lemaire, who fell to 0-3-1 against the team he led to its first Stanley Cup in 1995 and two Atlantic Division titles in 1996-97 and 1997-98.
"You always think about it, especially when you have good memories of the past," Lemaire said. "At the anthem, I was looking at the banners. It was fun; good memories."
"He's been a big part of my career," Bordeur said. "He's the guy who gave me a chance to play in the NHL. His team is well coached, just like we were back then and they're doing real well. But it was just another game - a game where we tried to erase our loss against Atlanta, and we did that."
Elias is happy to see his former coach's team among the playoff contenders in the Western Conference. The Wild set a franchise record with their 27th win on Friday.
"Jacques was my first coach when I arrived," Elias said. "It's good to see that he is doing well," he said. "They have a lot of young guys, a good mix together."
Pierre-Marc Bouchard notched a power-play goal and Dwayne Roloson turned aside 28 shots for the Wild, who had a two-game winning streak snapped.
Minnesota's leading scorer Marian Gaborik, checked for most of the game by John Madden, was held to just one assist.
"Gaborik's a young player," Burns said. "He's going to get better and better with age. He's going to understand how to get away from that. Right now he's got to get some experience."
White opened the scoring with 4:02 left in the first period just seconds after Minnesota killed off a double-minor for high sticking by defenseman Lubomir Sekeras. White cranked a high, hard slapshot through traffic from the right point that deflected off the crossbar into the net.
Elias doubled New Jersey's advantage at 3:06 of the second. He accepted a quick pass from Scott Gomez in the Minnesota zone, stopped, eluded Sekeras and snapped a shot past Roloson.
"Gomez just saw me streaking from our zone," Elias said. "He made a great pass. I'm sure that he knew that I was going there. I just tried to get it on net and it went in."
The Wild got on the scoreboard four minutes later. With rookie left wing Christian Berglund in the penalty box for boarding, Gaborik's wrist shot from the right circle glanced off Jason Marshall and went to Bouchard, who wristed the puck over Brodeur's glove hand.
Langenbrunner, a Minnesota native, scored his 15th goal with 8:31 left in the third period, giving New Jersey a 3-1 lead.
From between the faceoff circles, he redirected Brian Rafalski's shot from the blueline past Roloson, who appeared to be screened.
Pascal Dupuis notched his 13th just overtwo minutes later to pull Minnesota within a goal. Darby Hendrickson won a draw in the offensive zone back to Nick Schultz, who fired a slap shot from the left point. Brodeur made the stop, but the rebound went between Dupuis' feet and he whipped the puck into the net.
But the Wild were unable to get Roloson out of the net for an extra skater until just 20 seconds remaining.
"They've got everything - size, skill, speed," Gaborik said. "We had to work hard to get some chances. Unfortunately, we lost the game but we played hard till the end."
New Jersey lost captain Scott Stevens with about three minutes left in game after he blocked a shot from Dupuis and hobbled to the bench. Stevens did not play thereafter, but he said he could have returned if it was necessary.
The game got a bit chippy at the buzzer as White cross-checked Wild center Darby Hendrickson, touching off a minor scrum.
Heins acquired by Penguins
PITTSBURGH (AP) -- The Pittsburgh Penguins acquired defenseman Shawn Heins from the San Jose Sharks for a conditional draft pick Sunday.
Heins, 29, had one assist and nine penalty minutes in 20 games this season with the Sharks. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Heins has three goals and 10 points in 81 career NHL games since signing with the Sharks as a free agent in 1997.
A former teammate of Pittsburgh goaltender Johan Hedberg with Kentucky of the AHL during the 1999-2000 season, Heins set the record for the fastest recorded slap shot (106 mph) in professional hockey history during the 1999 United Hockey League All-Star skills competition.
San Jose ships Heins to Pittsburgh for draft choice
SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- The San Jose Sharks traded defenseman Shawn Heins to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday for a conditional 2003 draft choice.
Heins has one assist and nine penalty minutes in 20 games this season as the Sharks' physical seventh defenseman.
He has 10 points in 81 career NHL games, but Heins never earned a regular spot in San Jose's defensive rotation since signing with the club as a free agent in 1997.
Newest Flyer makes immediate impact
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- A fresh start could be just what Sami Kapanen needed to turn his season around.
In his first game with the Philadelphia Flyers, Kapanen scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Saturday.
It was just the seventh goal of the year for Kapanen, a two-time All-Star who had been in a season-long slump with the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Flyers are hoping Kapanen can pick up some of the scoring slack left by injuries to forwards Simon Gagne and Justin Williams, who is out for the season.
"He's had success his whole career up until this year, but the whole team was struggling," Flyers general manager Bob Clarke said of Kapanen. "We think he'll score some goals for us. He's got tremendous speed, he's a dangerous player. I think he'll play good for us, and we'll sign him for next year."
Kapanen, 29, is in the final year of his contract. He was acquired along with minor league defenseman Ryan Bast for forward Pavel Brendl -- a former first-round pick -- and minor league defenseman Bruno St. Jacques.
Kapanen put up career-best numbers last season for the Eastern Conference champion Hurricanes, scoring 27 goals and adding 42 assists for 69 points. But the right wing slumped badly during the postseason, scoring only once in 23 games.
His struggles continued into this season with just six goals, and just one in the previous 10 weeks before Saturday. Kapanen hopes coming to the Flyers helps him regain the scoring touch that made him a five-time 20-goal scorer.
"You get one in the first game and it helps, because I felt more relaxed out there," he said.
But even when Kapanen isn't scoring, Flyers coach Ken Hitchcock believes he will be an asset to his team because of his other strengths.
"He's not just a skill player, he's a complete player," Hitchcock said. "He does a lot of little things really well that at the end of the night add up to really good stuff. He is on the right side of the puck, he has quickness, he has courage, and he has a lot of things that you like in a hockey player."
Flyers captain Keith Primeau, who played with Kapanen in Hartford and Carolina, compared him to veteran forward Mark Recchi.
"He will finish checks, go into corners, he's not intimidated," Primeau said. "He's the perfect fit for this club."
Clarke had made several minor deals for forwards since January, acquiring Eric Chouinard from Montreal, Todd Warriner from Vancouver, Jamie Wright from Calgary, and signing Joe Sacco.
The trade for Kapanen was the most significant, but another deal could be looming. The Flyers would like to add a defenseman, and possibly another scorer for the playoff run.
Since returning from the All-Star break, the Flyers, second behind New Jersey in the Atlantic Division, are 2-0-1. They had lost four straight before the five-day break after winning 10 of 11.
Canadiens' Brisebois home after heart trouble
MONTREAL (AP) -- Canadiens defenseman Patrice Brisebois was home Sunday after spending the night in a Toronto hospital with an irregular heartbeat.
Cardiac tests Sunday were normal, Canadiens spokesman Donald Beauchamp said.
"He is feeling better and resting at home," Beauchamp said.
The 32-year-old Brisebois will be evaluated later in the week.
He had an irregular heartbeat because of stress, Dr. David Mulder, the Canadiens' physician, said Saturday night after Brisebois felt chest pains during warmups before a game against the Maple Leafs.
The Canadiens recalled defenseman Mike Komisarek from Hamilton of the AHL to replace Brisebois. Komisarek was the seventh overall in the 2001 NHL entry draft.
The Canadiens also assigned winger Sylvain Blouin to Hamilton. Blouin did not have a point in 17 games with Montreal.
