Yeah, and what good is an airplane? Heck, if man was meant to fly, he'd have wings. Yeah, there are all kinds of new things coming out that just grow in popularity.
Hey jump; I bought a case of Coconut Water (I hadn't tasted real coconut in a number of years) and it was great. The main place Coconut Water is selling right now is California, Oregon and other states in western U.S.
Some people spend their lives playing games trying to achieve things fast without doing any work. Then there are those who set goals, have a work plan and realize that to reach their goals will take a certain amount of time and effort. . .those people are usually the biggest winners.
and over and over. . .
I thank Dave too, Guy and all the people--some positive and some negative--who put in their two cents on this stock. I, like you, prefer to stay with Pulse and really believe the stock will go up in pps. There are just so many good things about it, mainly the vendors who believe in the product and invest in Pulse and that number is growing. BOL to all.
- Pulse Sees Strong Performance for 2nd Half of 2014 as it Continues to Roll-out Natural Cabana® Coconut Water Domestically and into Mexico
DENVER, Aug. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pulse Beverage Corporation (OTCQB: PLSB), makers of Natural Cabana® Lemonades, Limeades and Coconut Waters, and PULSE® Heart & Body Health functional beverages, today issued the following letter to shareholders from Bob Yates, Chief Executive Officer.
Dear Fellow Shareholders:
I would like to take this opportunity to share the progress we have made thus far and provide a detailed layout of our near term objectives.
In the United States the first quarter was one of the coldest, harshest winters in many decades, expectedly impacting sales of lemonade and retailers across the country as delivery trucks throughout the Northeast and Midwest were literally frozen in their tracks. Despite the environmental challenges endured by the overall industry, we remained focused on our planned strategies and spent the second quarter catching up on sales and expanding our growth in Natural Cabana® Coconut Water domestically and set the groundwork to expand into Mexico. In addition, we made a very strategic move to elevate our branding and sales efforts by entering into the multi-billion dollar food service industry.
We achieved significant operational progress during the second quarter that we believe establishes a stronger foundation for the remainder of the year and into 2015. Leading into the very hot summer months, we are seeing a vast improvement in sales across all of our beverage lines. Our lemonades and limeades are performing well and are now being sold in more than 20,000 stores.
Based on the success of our Natural Cabana® Coconut Water roll-out in the U.S. and the lack of premium, reasonably priced coconut water available in Mexico, Pulse is establishing a wholly-owned subsidiary in Mexico. Pulse's Mexican venture will be headed by Carlos Villarreal and his team of representatives, collectively Borrega Consulting Inc. ("Borrega"). Borrega is a San Diego based international business development consulting and brokerage firm with expertise in Latin American business development for over 16 years. Mr. Villarreal was responsible for the Mexico introduction and distribution of Monster Energy Drink® in 2004 and led the expansion across all of Mexico up until June 2010. He has worked with leading brands such as Dr. Pepper, Snapple and Miller, among others, in their entry/distribution strategies. He has also served as a Director for Anheuser-Busch and for Grupo Modelo (Corona) in the U.S. and Mexico.
Pulse will be offering our Natural Cabana® Coconut Water in both Natural and Pineapple in 520ml containers for convenience stores and both flavors in smaller 320ml containers for large grocery chains.
We are extremely excited to have Borrega Consulting lead our roll-out into the Mexican beverage market. Their track record in Latin America and the successful roll out of Monster Energy Drink® throughout Mexico provides us with an experienced team and valuable relationships which we believe will help to quickly secure key accounts for coconut water and pave the way for expanding our lemonades and limeades into Mexico. We plan to aggressively pursue this opportunity by securing accounts with large national chain stores including Wal-Mart, Costco and Soriana (totaling more than 3,000 stores) and large national convenience stores such as OXXO and 7-Eleven (totaling more than 13,000 stores).
Earlier this month, we announced our partnership with Smashburger®, the rapidly expanding "better burger" restaurant concept, to sell our Natural Cabana® Lemonade to Smashburger® customers at all 265 Smashburger® locations nationwide. It has been reported by Smashburger® representatives that our lemonade is outselling all other beverages offered. As part of this collaboration, Smashburger® will now be one of Pulse's top food service accounts. This expansion will help accelerate our growth and bolster our presence in a rapidly growing industry with one of the top companies from the "better-burger" category. This demonstrates our ability to not only identify opportunities but also participate in the consumer trends driving the industry, thus generating meaningful value for our shareholders. Deliveries to Smashburger® will be made through SYSCO and The Sygma Network which represent a new channel of distribution into the multi-billion dollar food service industry.
We continued the introduction of what we believe will be an extraordinarily successful new product line, Natural Cabana® Coconut Water, which made its debut in March and is already featured in more than 5,000 stores. This product has been met with outstanding reception and has extremely high potential given that coconut water in the beverage sector has doubled each year since 2005, according to the Wall Street Journal.
I would also like to note that we expect the roll-out of our newly designed and reformulated PULSE® Heart and Body Health functional beverages in September 2014. PULSE® Heart & Body Health is an effective nutritional supplement for those seeking a healthy lifestyle. It is a natural beverage product that is high in antioxidants, selenium, Vitamin C and fiber. It is bottled without preservatives and comes in an eye popping 500ml glass bottle package in three naturally sweetened great tasting flavors: Pomegranate/Blackberry, Pear/Peach and Strawberry/Grapefruit. Pulse® Heart & Body Health contains effective levels of important ingredients to support the health of our heart and cardiovascular and immune system.
All that being said, compared to our 1st quarter, total case sales for our 2nd quarter increased by more than 70,000 cases to more than 125,000 cases, including increasing our coconut water case sales to more than 21,000 cases. We showed stronger growth during May and June and we are now set for a strong second half of 2014. We expect steady growth for our lemonades, limeades and coconut waters during the 3rd quarter as we continue to fulfill orders during the very hot summer months. Full financial results may be accessed in our Form 10Q, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission at http://www.pulsebeverage.com/sec-filings.
Our net losses to date, for the most part, continues to be the result of a concentrated effort to establish and increase brand awareness; and establish and improve upon our extensive nationwide and international distribution systems. Our net losses are also due to the initial development of our brands including: Natural Cabana® Lemonade and Limeade and Coconut Waters and to secure distribution and chain store listings. We also have spent a great deal of time and incurred a great deal of expense to finish the initial development and then the re-formatting of Pulse® Heart and Body Health functional beverages which is due to be launched this year.
In only a few years since the Company was founded, Pulse is quickly becoming a leader in the beverage industry with excellent tasting products, a highly experienced and skilled management team and a strong distribution network that continues to grow.
With a clear, detailed business plan, we are confident in the delivery and execution of our product launch, continued sales and marketing strategies. As we diversify within the industry, we will continue to strive to be market leaders in the development and marketing of great tasting nutritional beverages.
I thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to updating you in the future. Be sure to try our Natural Cabana® Lemonades and Limeades and our Natural Cabana® Coconut Waters!
Sincerely,
Bob Yates, Chief Executive Office
Ditto, Dave.
I agree with you wholeheartedly, Kathryn. . .the best response (since that's mainly what bashers are looking for. . .response) is no response at all. They do go away if EVERYONE ignores them; you can't out-argue someone whose main goal is to raise an argument.
I agree; it's going to take a little while for the word to get out, but it will happen.
A reverse split always produces quite a number of SPLIT opinions. . .I say leave the pps where it is; it will go up on its own because of the quality of the product(s), the smarts and experience of the people who make up this company and the strong (long) belief and drive of the investors.
I guess "company" is not the correct word, but such a major part of a company. . .
Can a company even be sold without the approval/notification of stock holders? I'm just sayin'. . .
Hey Dave, Pulse IS doing great for the number of years it's been in business and since Pulse went public.
God bless America.
I agree with you, Guy. I'm biding my time and I don't pay attention at all to what the bashers say or what the daily market says for that matter; I know where Pulse is going and I'm glad I found this stock when I did.
Thanx for the helpful info, kampman; I hope to be able to get in on that call. GLTA.
Astalavista. . .
Yes, that's why DD is so important and investing ONLY what you can afford to loose. Have a good one kittie and GLTA.
Hey, honeybadger; please notice the preposition LIKE in my statement; I didn't say Pulse was free and you are absolutely right about DD which a person should do before they get into a stock and which should be a continuing process all the time you hold a stock because things can and very often do change throughout the life of a stock/company. I agree with you on pink sheets (80% go down the tube)and I firmly believe a person should never invest what they can't afford to lose. . .that's often what happens with stocks and yes, penny stocks are the most volatile. I've never tried to mislead anyone. GLTA.
I agree with you driller; it's like someone handing you free money. I made a mistake by buying and then selling Pulse shares at a pretty cheap price several years ago (still kicking myself for that); won't ever happen again (selling cheap that is). I'm pretty sure from what I've learned Pulse has some more good news coming.
Ah yes and Christina Winch, C.E.O. is a devout Christian (according to things I've read about her). . .I think that's very interesting. JMO.
. . .and I believe in the next few weeks there will be other such announcements of new distributors/stores selling Pulse.
I believe we're much closer to "big retail" than most people are aware of. . .
Burchero, I just had about a 40 minute discussion with someone at Pulse who gave me a lot of information on what's going on with the company right now re: sales of the product and new things that are happening/coming up. . .I was not in a position where I could take notes, but what he suggested to me is that I watch the upcoming news on this company, information that will be announced "in the next few weeks". . .I believe the Pulse sales people are working super hard and there are a number of new companies that will be coming on board. I've been buying stock in Pulse for several years and I know how everyone wants to see results "right now". . .so do I, but I realize it takes a while for a new product to get going. The person I talked with at Pulse told me the best one to contact for information is Bruce Horton in Vancouver, Canada. His number is 604-644-6251.
Burchero, I have not heard back from Investor Relations: Judy Sfetcu/Evan Pondel so I placed another call to them today and had to leave a message. I will stay on it; I too am very eager to find out what the deal is with Kroger.
I found some pretty interesting information that I thought I would share. . .if the shoe fits, wear it. I think it might be helpful to some to avoid scare tactics.
Why Message Board Bashers Bash Stocks
WHO BASHERS PREY UPON?
Bashers rely on fear and the badgering of human psychology! Consider the elderly that are investing for retirement, they find their way to the message boards for validation only to see false posts about “SEC Violations” and “Class action suits”… posting continuous disinformation… what do you think these new investors will do?
The Internet has lured a whole new class of investor into the market. A new investor is just that – New! This new investor, while learning the basics, is particularly vulnerable to the tactics of professional Bashers. Why Message Board Bashers Bash Stocks
You must always remember that their is a lot of money to be made in just the motion of a stock UP or DOWN it doesn’t matter! And Bashers have money at risk just as you do. But they have the edge of fear, lies, and falsehoods to post while preying on the un-initiated. The average investor dose not have the edge of organized deception.
Recent revelations have indicated that even Market Makers (those charged with keeping the playing field level) have been involved in stock manipulation by Bashing on a stock message board. HAVE NO DOUBT THAT THIS IS A REAL THREAT!
Lesson 1: Remember, BASHERS NEVER Bash A BAD STOCK. Check the boards for stocks with no potential. They never have any Bashers.
Lesson 2: BASHERS ALWAYS BRING UP OLD NEWS THAT YOU HAVE HEARD MANY TIMES. New startup companies always have a few bits of bad news. The Basher will post this over and over again.
Lesson 3: BASHERS POST MANY TIMES A DAY. They try to wear you out. REMEMBER – LONGS… RESIST USING THE BASHERS ALIAS!
Lesson 4: BASHERS WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE. Never trust a Basher. The truth on startup companies is that they make mistakes. What new company hasn’t? The Basher will compare your issue to a another companies, financials – deals – management, etc., trying to lure you into making an Apples to Oranges comparison. BASHERS WANT TO WHISPER IN YOUR EAR – PLANT A SEED OF DOUBT, AND HOPE THAT YOU ARE NOT SAVVY ENOUGH TO RESEARCH THE TRUTH ON YOUR OWN. This is how they achieve their greatest success. Why Message Board Bashers Bash Stocks
DOUBT + FEAR + LAZINESS = BAIL OUT!
Why Message Board Bashers Bash Stocks
They have motives $$$$$$$$$$$$.
Lesson 5: Bashers know YOU CAN’T VERIFY THEIR STATEMENTS. That’s why they make the vague statements they do.
Lesson 6: The Bashers PLAY ON YOUR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. They can lie about information and you won’t know the difference (unless you have done your own DD on the company and know the truth and facts).
Lesson 7: Bashers play on your lack of patience. You have held a stock for a while. You knew it will be a big stock someday, but the BASHER CAN GET TO YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE TIRED OF WAITING FOR YOUR GAIN. That’s when the Basher is best. The Basher is bothersome, so you dump it on a bad day. Some others also dump. Then you get mad for your loss and return to let everyone know how mad you are. Then you turn into a semi-Basher as well. THE BASHER HAS WON, AND GAINED A NEW ALLY – YOU!
Lesson 8: BRING THE PRICE DOWN. That is the Basher’s job. The truth is not important. Lies are the norm. They are trying to scare the newbies that are just investigating a stock.
Octopus has been around for several years. He pops up out of the blue like some of the new whiners we have now on PLSB. I think Octopus used several different names (possibly eight as in octo/eight from the ancient Greek and Latin); I think he might still be surfing the stock webs under various pseudonyms. JMO.
I probably shouldn't stir the pot, but I wonder if there's any relation to Octopus. . .remember him/her/it? I do agree with you though; best "defense" is to just plain ignore. . .
I'm not throwing dirt at anyone in particular; just trying to keep myself from rolling around in it which I'll admit I do every once in a while. . .I guess it's the kid still in me.
On and on and on it goes. . .do you ever find yourself walking in that endless forest of sh__t that can cause problems unless your wearing really high boots and I've never found a pair high enough to walk through some of the stuff out there so I'll just keep my nose clean and stay on the right side of the fence (or try to anyway). . .GLTA.
I'm sorry, that's a little off. . .I ask why you DIDN'T report it.
I never said I was first to report it. . .I ask why you weren't.
Hey Geeze, as close as you track PLSB, how come you weren't the first to report how Pulse is going to be making a presentation at the coming Marcum Investor Conference in New York City on May 29th?
I just had a very nice conversation with Judy Sfetcu at Pondel Wilkinson (Investor Relations handling the Pulse Beverage account) and she is going to get back with me re: Pulse Beverage; at which Kroger stores/in what areas; as soon as I get the information I will report back. . .EVERYONE have a great Memorial Day weekend. God bless America.
Hi Guy, I'm still around and still putting my money on Pulse. . .I've been in it for several years and I know (mainly because of sampling the products myself) that we've got a winner; something you don't find that often in penny stocks.
Hi Dave, sometimes I like to just sit back and observe and try to be objective. I've read a lot of interesting posts lately (much of it good and helpful information and a lot of just plain digging-up-crap to dump on someone else to serve who knows what purpose. . .a number of possibilities). Anyway, I'm still here and I am still putting my money on PLSB. GLTA.

How about Kroger, Dave; that was 1,233 stores that were sold in Jan. 2014. . .that's probably too early in year for that to figure in for first quarter.
I see what you mean; that WOULD be great. . .wonder who that box/chain might be. . .
Exactly what is it you're looking for, Dave?
