Couldn't agree more Fish, yoy comps should be beat handily, and I think analyst estimates will be beat as well, hopefully sales/backlog look good, then it's straight up from here!
Was thinking at this pps it might make sense for the company to start an open market buyback? What you think? Or possibly one time dividend?
And I am saying that with assumption of not having any Capex increases besides the expansion of sales dept....
I couldn't listen in to the shareholder meeting due to work... anyone listen? Anything of note? Did they do any Q and A? Thanks much!
Are you guys the two from the Muppets in the theater balcony box?
Thanks much for the investor cliche list, haven't seen them consolidated that nicely!
new virtra install
Close to my neck of the woods, I know there a bunch of other colleges just in upstate ny that have a law enforcement curriculum... another good avenue for sales focus
Best of luck to ya...
Ah! So you're not willing to give Givens a chance, you're still beating the same ol' Ferris sucks drum.... well have fun with that... I'll focus on future potential
Well, there was plenty of opportunity to make money on the stock over the years... that being said, there is a new ceo that so far has proven himself VERY competent! True investing is about the future of a company, not the past. I believe the future looks bright. There are many reasons to believe the stock will rise significantly especially from these levels!
As painful as it is to see, this is a GREAT buying level, pps should appreciate nicely over next 6 months... looking forward to annual meeting, and shortly after that earnings
Tend to agree fish, we also may have gotten sub contracts as well.... the current price action is ridiculous, free money in 6 months...
Thanks Utah! Much appreciated, in college I got a C in stats lol ??
Sharp, forgive my ignorance, but what is R2? Also any thoughts on net income? Thanks for sharing as always!
Nothing in our wheelhouse Sharp? and thanks for posting as always!
Well done on the predictions sharp and fish... great Q! Hopefully we get some good info in the coming weeks and in the interview the end of the month
Thanks for sharing Ardly, not a question of IF, but WHEN
I would think so! Looking forward to those Q1 numbers just a couple weeks from now.
Saw on my LinkedIn feed that Bob and John will be doing an interview on StoryTrading on 5/30.... Glad John going to be on as well, hope he goes off script A LOT! Lol
Totally agree Fish.... And for D. maybe request questions prior to the call that they can then answer? Don't want Bob to be too scared : )
Sharp, I def appreciate your insights and deep dive DD!
Not familiar with the guy that did the podcast, but I def stay up to date with Gomes, he does really good research and makes really good pics.... I question his altruism claims sometimes, as he makes out well on the research he shares and the subsequent buying that occurs, but he does provide the info for free, so he is entitled to make his off of it.
Good to see! CFO's know whats going on : )
Hey Fish, I think the military will be significant, and I think you are realistic with your projections, because he has done it before, and the company also is confident they have the scalability to support it. I am looking forward to Q1 report, right around the corner!
Hey Fish, I agree with a lot, but I think the scalability and ability to push out orders quickly, that Givens has pushed towards over the last year is what needed to happen first. Quite frankly, they were probably scared or not confident they could support a large amount of orders. I hope and believe this is no longer the case. I really like that they now have liaisons that are doing the installations and also doing the support and are also the ones staying in contact with the customers, pushing add on sales, etc... (welcome to the 21st century! LOL)..... But with what is in place now and the commitment to continuous improvement and not being satisfied, I think there will be a much greater focus on the sales structure going forward. My opinion, i that the company has come A LONG way in the last 8 months, and if it continues we will finally have what we believed this company can be.... enthusiasm, desire, and hard work are often contagious in a company.
Maybe Gomes upped his position too, probably find out on Friday
And.... in 6 weeks we'll be getting another hopefully strong quarterly report!!!
Really nice volume going into the close! Good to see
Gotcha, I appreciate the candor and get a kick out of a lot of your posts, A lot of your suggestions are spot on.... I guess we will find out soon enough.... we actually going to hear from them twice in six weeks.... hopefully Givens is too busy writing up contracts and responding to RFP's..... : )
Do you have any knowledge of this or just throwing crap against the wall?
From gbb's post:

Gotta start somewhere! :)
Or.... he is getting rid of dead wood
Do you know her or did you interview her?
A typical Fish over reaction, no mention of 16 mil in booking in the Q and very little understanding of how government contracts work... give the man a chance, I heard A LOT of good on the call.... why don't you become an independent sales rep and show us all how it's done??? : )
I like a lot of your posts Fish sometimes you way over the top tho
I thought call was pretty good as well, I asked a couple of Q's and was happy with the answers. I asked about spend out on the facilities (Orlando is done, AZ is nearly done and impressive training/demo rooms are complete.
Asked about the efficiencies created by the new studio... Long answer, but will be a huge advantage for Virtra and save a lot of money over time, scenarios will be usable for next 10 years or more. Other companies scenarios will be obsolete as training transitions to headset/goggle based.
Thanks for sharing Sharp!
Lol! I saw a beautiful buck yesterday, unfortunately I was on my way to work!
Thats great to hear Fish, I'll be checking in as well
Annual Shareholder meeting is today....
Are Fish and Twister going to participate to ask the tough questions that they harp on???
Amen!
Great report weedboy! Thanks so much for this!
Cool vid!
Thanks B!
