Optimiss, good to see you're still out there. Springtime heading your way! Leaves are starting to come out on trees @ 5000 feet!
Saw the Denver Post article when it was published and thought the same thing. Once POW is operational, the surrounding mining community should be as happy as all of us.
Any chance you could do a little local DD and find out where the land is located that is being looked at by CGFI for the dry stacking activity? Heard anything regarding locals who might object to the dry stack idea? TIA for anything you can share.
There are still a lot of good folks on the CGFIA board. Don't be a stranger!
Rich
OK, thanks!
Some may not remember or know.
Remember, CGFI doesn't have to be on the agenda in any given month for the amendment to be approved. Can be done outside the hearing process. See email received from Guyer below.

subjectRE: MLRB AGENDA
XXXXXXX,
You can help me here. There seems to be an idea that all actions and approvals go in front of the board. That is not the case.
The Division can, and often does, evaluate and grant approvals without the need for the MLRB to be involved. That’s where we are now.
Whether we are or are not on the agenda really does not matter. For example, approval of the next amendment may happen without the need for a hearing.
If you could somehow get that word out it would help me a lot. Recently I’m getting deluged with questions that are not particularly relevant; but I do want to get proper information out there.
Make sense?
Sincerely,
Colorado Goldfields Inc.

You seem to be very irritated. Sorry about that. I seriously doubt that the company is deliberately holding back on getting the amendment submitted, approved and getting production underway in order to miss the silver boat. Maybe you should consider another silver play to tide you over till we get approval.
Maybe a certified letter to Guyer would be more appropriate than going at him on a message board. He once told me that he doesn't read the board. Whether or not he does I can't say. Just seems like you might be spittin' into the wind by trying to get to Guyer here. Let us know what you find out!

Calm before the storm.
Better to have a quiet board than to have all the negativity we've experienced in the recent past. Patience prevails here. Longs know what is around the corner. Accumulating now will pay off.
In a conversation with Mr. Guyer this AM he said,
"no I am not president. Whomever did whatever made a mistake."
He also indicated that the mistake probably originated from an error on the Chase bank form made in August 2010 where "President" was found next to his name and that was corrected long ago.
Please put this rumor to rest. Mr. Guyer is CFO.
ficose, you must feel better! Wow, nice job!! On the money! Thanks for your thoughts!
Burkhart, I hear someone calling you!

In a previous life Hickenlooper was a geologist! Hopefully his knowledge in this area will help in selecting the right people!
Sorry if you felt like you were being attacked. Wasn't the intent at all. Mecoors' post indicated that the information provided was from Wally Erickson. Your post didn't.
Just want to make sure that credit for the text in your post is given to the person who made the statement...

Nice try!
This board is to share thoughts and ideas on the stock; what's happening with it, how we place a value on it, what we expect to happen with it, and hopefully the rationale for our opinions.
LtColumbo... I don't believe that Outlaw was coming down on you and your posts. Quite the contrary. Look at the string again. I agree, we all know what's going on here.
However, this is the kind of bantering that is of no use to anyone. Stop it or the "off topic" key will be invoked.

Hey ficose
Didn't we just see a post projecting potential market cap based on what's in the ground? Can seem to find it right off.

Welcome Scooter!
Permit = $$$
Welcome aboard Mustang!
I'm sure that Grizz, king of the late-night, will appreciate your comments!
Here's to a good week ahead! Go CGFIA!
Let's try something. There are many folks that are following this board that we never hear from. If I was new to this board and saw all the in-fighting and bickering that goes on I wouldn't want to get involved either. I bet there is a great deal we could learn from these folks if only they would be willing to share with us. I encourage them to get involved and let's get back to providing true DD so folks can make intelligent decisions.
Enough with the sometimes ridiculous speculation, the personal bashing, the company bashing, the Wally bashing, the PPS bashing, the "I bought so many shares back when and look now", the political armchair quarterbacking, the "do these guys have a clue about what to do", the "I've been in this stock since the dawn of time and all I have to show for it is this lousy Big Biz Show t-shirt".
All we need to do is provide verifiable DD and let CGFI management do their job to bring the company to profitability. Facts speak for themselves. If it takes 6 months or 2 years doesn't make a difference, unless you are in it for the quick turn. If you don't think it will happen soon enough for you, go now. Let's turn this around and pull ourselves out of the doldrums once and for all.
I know Guyer would really appreciate it if he wasn't constantly peppered with questions about hearings and the like. Guaranteed, he will let us know when there is something of substance and value to share. Don't feel left out if he doesn't respond to you individually. Happens to all that try to get his attention. He's a busy man trying to make your dreams come true!
Mods, let's all re-read the TOS and make this thing right again!!
So much for the predicting pudge on this board....HA!! Gotta' love it!
They aren't allowed to do any work on the mill other than cosmetic stuff like painting until the permit is granted. Keep the faith. They are certainly doing everything they can to be ready to go once they get permitted.
If your DD is valuable then post it here. There is no reason that the folks here need to go to the other board to get your info. Thanks!
Don't believe this is the case in US primary schools.
Primary school arithmetic teaches us that when zero enters the denominator, the resulting quotient bears an infinite result.
Consider the following: Approval of the next amendment could occur without an MLRB hearing and could happen at anytime before, or after, the March Board meeting. The evaluation of the amendment and its approval could be granted by the Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety without going before the MLRB!
This info comes from a trusted source. You can verify by doing your own DD. Or maybe you Wally worshipers could verify this with him. The DRMS and MLRB have very good websites. See link below:
http://mining.state.co.us/
The bottom line here is that waiting for the hearing could make you late for the dance! Or, if the March meeting date passes without us, it doesn't mean we necessarily have to wait for an April meeting.
Go CGFIA!
Everyone has their reasons for doing what they do. I don't get it. Could have sold at .0012 a few minutes earlier and made an extra grand. Must be movement between MM's. One day they won't be able to hold this down. Hang in there if you are long. Our day is coming!
Sieg... any chance you would be attending Wednesday's meeting? Since it is scheduled for only a half hour don't know if the hassle of finding parking would be worth the effort.
Good to know that Guyer is still willing to fight the fight. Bodes well for all of us longs.
Batten down the hatches for tonight's weather! Getting tired of this, but guess we have it better than the Eastern US.
Too bad we haven't seen a ROI big enough that you could hire a car to take you to Vail! But thinking about a golden future sure helps to warm things up when needed! Whooops, guess I'm drifting away from the "reality" some demand we adhere to.
Good hearing from you! Enjoy your time away from all of this. IMO Guyer will represent us well, as he always does.
Richard617
Right, but another step towards approval. IMO
Just in case anybody missed this...
From AK (post 12151)......
February MLRB Meeting! You heard it here first GO CGFIA
ficose....
Was that you that dumped the 1300 shares? I could loan you a couple of bucks if you need 'em!
Pretty freakin cold in Colorado this AM (-6 where I am).
Go CGFIA!
Hey Optimiss....
Thought I had sent a "Thank You' to you for the pics and info, but guess I didn't. Thanks!!
Have you ever run across the guy who owns the Brooklyn mine! Have met him a couple of times but his name escapes me at the moment. Seems like a real good guy who has high hopes for the mill to open. He was really disappointed at the conclusion of the December meeting.
Anyway, thanks again for the pics! Was that your dog walking along the road? I know it wasn't John Ferguson's dog. Last time i saw John's dog it was raining and cold and his dog looked like a drowned rat!
Can you give us some solid DD to go with all your speculation? If you flip a coin a million times, statistically you will be right in your call about half the time. Unless you can provide facts here you are just flipping your coin. You have a 50/50 chance of being right everytime you flip the coin, but eventually you will be wrong, and end up being wrong half the time.
All speculation folks. We don't need posters with crystal balls. (Not intended to be a gender biased statement!) We need positive support for CGFI and its management. We need to do away with all the negativisim. There seem to be a lot of posters that wish they could get their money back. But there are more that are willing to hold on and wait out what needs to be done. Somewhere around 7,000 strong! You don't see them downplaying the company or the stock. Frankly, you don't see them posting either. Thanks to all you stockholders who may be reading the board but haven't spoken up. Join up. We could use your support, and DD!
I seriously doubt that anyone here really cares that someone is willing to spend $1,600. Specualtion on my part. We will think of you if and when we see a trade for 4 Mil shares at .0004. If it comes to pass, bet we'll hear an "I told you so". Until then, go away.
We need DD. The kind of DD Burkhard and ficose have provided all along. They are so frustrated with this board that I would bet we won't see any more DD from them again. Woooops, more speculation!
Optimiss.....
Accept thanks from those on the board who are always interested in a positive take on Colorado Goldfields! Some try to find the negative in everything.
If you hear any thing else, please don't shy away from letting us know. Do you know John Ferguson? Would be very interested if you run across him to hear what he has to say at this point.
How's the weather in Silverton? Buried in snow?
If it was someone from our board that bought the 20,000 shares, thank you! If no one sells, we may end the day green!!
Go CGFIA
ficose, you da Man!!!
With you 100%. Each and every analogy was perfectly crafted.
I used to get quick and concise responses from Guyer, but haven't received a single response since the onslaught began. We saw firsthand how Wally would have done anything to stop approval. Now he has shareholders talking to him about how to fix the problems! Wow!!
And we have folks saying, without the slightest effort to substantiate the statement, that Guyer is trying to get out of a majority position. How ridculous. But that's OK. Anything to scare folks into selling so others can average down... put more money into something you don't believe in to start with.
Yep, people are going crazy here.
OK kopertop....
I Sent Guyer and Email, he promptly replied back to me but I am unable to provide any info as it goes against sec rules and is considered insider info.
No Sir, your explanation doesn't work.
The "re-post" was different than the "original". You modified the "re-post" which means you did not re-post the original.
BTW, you might explain why the posting on one of the other message boards had the correct spelling to begin with. It was posted 5 minutes after the IHUB posting.
Just saying you sent Guyer an email doesn't make it so. Posting a response from Guyer would have validated your effort. Everyone feels the same about no info being provided since the Board meeting on 12/16.
This is in no way a personal attack. The Mods on this board are trying to ensure that info provided is fair, accurate, honest and timely. Let's see what we can do about that.
Thank you Sir! Looks much more authentic.
One suggestion. Use csguyer@cologold.com to send your question to Guyer. He uses a Blackberry to receive his email so you'll have a much better chance for him to see it if you use this address. He's real busy now I would think. Bet you see a PR before you see a response.
Dr. Wiley,
Would you be willing to "cut and paste" the actual email you sent to Guyer into another post. The way it appears in your post it looks like you typed the whole thing. Would like everyone to be able to see the time stamp of when you sent it so there aren't any questions later on. I'm sure you realize that there are a lot of folks out there that say they have done something when in fact they haven't.
Just curious. In what field did you receive your PhD? Obviously there is no need to answer if you feel I am prying.
Have a great New Year's Day and go CGFIA!
Richard617
Well said!
Guess there is some psychological therapy in whining. But why do it here?
