Mike Pence and GWTR
Governor (VP?) Pence and CEO Hromadka, June 2015:
"I believe today represents material progress in how we put water at the center of economic development," said Indiana Governor Mike Pence, who signed several new state laws to monitor the state's water supply and better enable water infrastructure funding. "Our water resources are a vital part of our future economic success."
....
"It's great to see attention to these important issues at the top levels of our state," says Erik Hromadka, CEO of Global Water Technologies. "By working together, we can make Indiana a state that works to provide innovation solutions for critical water challenges that impact every family and business."
Play the game
We know we can't quit until it's won
Let's all meet in Portage next Flag Day
and bang out the path of success
Waterway Boulevard -- nice!
This is sweet too! Water 2.0 Conference tomorrow.
Erik's paper and his 4/24 speech must have been killa.
Stock almost doubled today!!!!
Will this hurt GWTR?
#BoycottIndiana
Will GWTR stand up and leave Indiana?
I have Kentucky, Wisconsin, Villanova and Iowa State
In Valpariaso.
This weekend just starting to blossom.
Big award for Erik Hromadka.
Never seen campus this excited.
Could change the whole world.
chudd, please note my interest
I assume it would be on Saturday, October 11th. Sounds like a real wing-ding. I hear a top engineer close to Chairman Erik will be there. A certain Mr. MDM. (I don't know his name; I only know his initials.)
Please join me in congratulating Erik

Everyone, please email Erik a note of congratulations to ehromadka@gwtr.com with the term esotees in the subject line so he can gauge how many people get their GWTR news from here.
Thanks you.
Whatever happened to www.inoffice.com?
Agreed. If GWTR stock could be purchased only on Black Friday, moodboom would be seen pitching a tent so he could come first to buy.
Wrong! I for one would like to see Erik lay some pipe.
Erik spoke today. How did it go?
Wed, Oct 10th - 1:45pm - 3pm Workshop IV-A: Addressing the Challenges & Providing Solutions to Water Infrastructure Problems
Pfister Grand Ballroom
In the U.S. and throughout the developed world, demand for water is outstripping the ability of aging infrastructure to supply it safely, efficiently, and economically. The challenge is too great to solve by brute force. Instead, we need to develop and deploy innovative solutions that drive greater efficiency, reduce energy costs, and maintain the quality and safety we have come to expect. The panel will discuss the key challenges and a range of solutions including smart water networks that use some of the same principles as the smart energy grid to manage water effectively, detect leaks and deteriorating infrastructure, and ensure water quality.

It's that time again!
Happy Birthday, Mr. Chairman!
Let's all wish Mr. H the happiest of birthdays on this fine September morn.

Well, on Tuesday
Erik Hromadka was at Chappy's Tap Room And Grille
Thanks, FJ. Got me thinking ...
Looks like that mistake was not the first to confuse "global water technology" with "Global Water Technology." I see it recently happened on ragingbull as well.
Maybe this generic name is getting GWTR lost in the shuffle. Like calling a grocery store "Grocery Store."
I humbly suggest renaming the company something distinct. Something unique. Something like Hromadka Water Technology Inc.
Your thoughts?
FJ, but did you go to the seminar on GWTR?

The Butler Bump????
Hmmm
Do you mean the Franklin House?
Just kidding.
On another board, it was mentioned that Mr. Hromdka just updated his LinkedIn account so I assume the office is still open. Suite 500 I believe.
Enough.
That's the title of Vanguard founder John Bogle's fantastic book about measuring what counts in life.
The title, as Bogle explains, comes from a conversation between Kurt Vonnegut and novelist Joseph Heller, who are enjoying a party hosted by a billionaire hedge fund manager. Vonnegut points out that their wealthy host had made more money in one day than Heller ever made from his novel Catch-22. Heller responds: "Yes, but I have something he will never have: enough."

I believe this holds true here as well.
Jim, any photos from San Jose?

If so, I hope they do not look like the above one.
2022 may be the year of GWTR!
Hold on.

camelion, how many soccer touraments with balloons flying overhead do you think there are in the world?!
http://www.gwtr.com/news_01-02-2011.php
simplypennies, please do an interview with CEO Erik Hromadka!
Here is what was written on RB about him:
Think about the power of this story. Man buys stock after learning about it [on Internet message board]. He then starts posting, giving quite eloquent reasoning for his thoughts on the company's direction, even sharing ideas with management [and then ultimately] he becomes CEO of the very company! Rags to riches indeed! He is everyman and no man.
You could entitle your interview: "From Message Board to Chairman of the Board"
Mr. Jim, I cannot tell if the answer to my question is a Yes or a No.
Hmmm.
Erik Hromadka: "Heading east... Working in Qatar for the month."
Does anyone know if this is GWTR-related?
Happy Birthday, Mr. Chairman!
Let's all wish Mr. H the happiest of birthdays on this fine September morn.
My choice for member #1 on the advisory board as he is a friend of Mr. Hromdka

We both were a bit off. Nalco Erik does not have the first name of Erik. It's his middle name!
Also he graduated from the University of Delware. Almost as good as Valpo.

I could not find the Forbes profile on GWTR Erik. Must be off-line.
Well both companies' CEOs are named Erik. It could just be a coincidence though. Hmmmm.
It looks like Erik wants to have an ongoing dialogue with you; that's a good thing. No need to complain.
Here's a tip - sign your reply with the term "Cheers"
