Possibly some positive research based results will come of this
I think I read 52 million
not me. my etrade account portfolio has me about $100,000.00 poorer than I was yesterday. Then again it also has vtsi marketcap listed at 466 million.
Does anyone know when the reverse split takes effect? I see from the release that they need to await FINRA approval. How long might that take?
Did you notice both contracts had 2 offers on them? It appears we're winning this direct competition.
that's 2.5 million this quarter from the DOS contract alone. Add the other 774,000.00 from the DHS contract and along with the recent 12.2 million over 5 years and this quarter is shaping up quite nicely.

I know it now and can't agree more with you. If the controller is going to answer to the CFO I guess VirTra will have a CFO whether it's Donna or someone else.
right where I was headed. Just trying to line up the facts. Thanks for your help.
When did Skidmore leave?
2 more contracts from the department of homeland security totaling $774,033.00 click on the below link and look at pages 3 and 4. Both awarded on 9/20/2016.

Here's another article. That's 3 in the last week calling for the use of virtual reality to address use of force issues.

Nice find Nicole. The article presents a coherent argument for VirTra training. The research base appears to be building. Maybe the Dutch should become customers. Let's hope the politicians get off their arses, stop the blame game and put our money (taxes) where it can do the most good.

That crossed my mind as well.
Add in Modern Round revenue and warranty contracts (which continue to grow, See link).

The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with Northeast Iowa Community College to purchase this firearms simulator. Once this simulator is up and operational, this firearms simulator will be able to be used by outside agencies. We are hoping to have it operational no later than this fall.

Quite a few recent articles at the bottom of this VTSI MSN quote page. Even the article critical of VirTra has some great information and quotes which support it.

Good to hear from you Felix. I've been invested in VirTra as well since the Gamz days. Frustrating as it is, I'm hanging on and actually bought a little more last week. Hope your opportunity to re-enter happens soon. I look forward once again to your research and opinions.
In the meantime, Utah loves VirTra

They wouldn't be hiring a Project Manager if they weren't getting the lion's share.
it worked on my home pc this morning but now won't connect at work. Well written simplified analysis from someone who covered VirTra more in depth about a year ago.
My thought was that this contract may have been part of the agreement when the patent infringement was settled. It seemed strange at the time that no compensation for VirTra was revealed.
what's your take on that connection?
Isn't FAAC/milo the same company Virtra had to defend their patent against?
Here's an article from this past December(Montgomery Alabama). Doesn't specifically mention VirTra but the pictures are definitely VirTra.
"Gov. Robert Bentley is requiring that all Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, local police and county sheriff's offices to train for mass-shooting situations by using the simulator."

This is an interesting view of the gov't purchases made over the past few years. Interesting to note that the big 5.6 million contract doesn't complete until the end of this quarter.

6.4 million to purchase 15 state of the art video simulators(page 3 section G). Its in Arizona. Must be Virtra Sims.
I just posted the link for Nassau county w/o saving it. I did search "Virtra" on the Nassau homepage and found a few links but not the document.

Not sure I've seen this yet. Sorry if it's a repost. Interesting read regardless.

That's about 5.9 million in large orders posted since October 5th (less than 2 months). As reported on this board there have also been many single system orders as well during this time period. I personally feel this is only the tip of the iceberg. Worldwide events dictate this type of training.
this is in addition. This award is for the Secret Service. Go on the USASpending.gov website and enter virtra into the search box. Scroll down to 9-30-15 and click on the award #.
Thanks Teeroy.
I was able to view the segment through your link, turned on the tv and watched it again on the show. Too bad MSNBC is a limited audience. The segment was excellent. VirTra received high praise. Wasn't VirTra highlighted on CNN just prior to yearly financials being released? Looking forward to August 14th.
Wired article with picture showing on MSN homepage as I write, on the News section.
I'm assuming you dumped all your shares at a higher price than we have now based on this information. Sounds like insider trading. I hope you're being investigated as well.
Nice Find!!!
Multiple systems in multiple countries. Requirement of a 300 degree field of vision. Looks like this request is written specifically for VirTra. Hope it pans out.
