JB you still holding those 90 BIDU P? I know you were when the stock was at about 103 wondering if you still go them
Who all is still holding their BIDU puts?
BIDU seems to be holding 102 right now, a drop below and I think we are retesting the 100 mark.
I would expect our 7 Puts to be getting a little bit more action...hopefully as the day progresses.
I've got some weekly 7 puts.
haha i lost 300 on that last trade. im done for the day now. up about 330. have a good weekend.
wow. i may have to move some cash over there!
how are you trading commission free?
thinking about making one more go at it
I'm all out as well.

In AAPL 605 W @ 1.08.
I stopped out down at 1.27 for a 120% gain today. Not what I wanted to happen but I put that in place and it got triggered.
Left some money on the table but much happier making money than I am losing.
I am thinking about jumping back in for the 3 o'clock rush. Keeping my eyes peeled.
Well. I stuck in it and we continue to run...im going to make back my losses from last week on AAPL! haha.
You planning on hanging on to these until 3:59:59?
I'm thinking about jumping out and then jumping back in at 3...
I'm hoping so. I burned myself time and time again on AAPL last week and told myself I was going to stay out until Power Hour, but the opportunity looked to good to pass up this morning.
I got in on those shortly after you at .54. Hoping this keeps charging!
Next week. I am skipping AAPL until 2:59 PM
Want to try and catch this AAPL bubble, but AAPL has screwed me too much this week, so I think I will sit out.
Im starting to think that POS next to my positions no longer stands for Position. Seems to be more closely relating to the term Piece of S*#!.
Time to shut it down for the week. Not a good week overall.
Good luck everyone!
Out of my 615 AAPL calls. Don't think we are going to see a repeat Friday. Got hammered.
geez. looks like I stuck with the wrong tech so far. NFLX is still killing it. over 84 now.
AAPL premarket is not doing great. Making my 615s look like a long shot now.
VXX premarket is putting my 15 C back in play.
I've got a trendline as well that has it finishing above 615. Looking for a quick move up and hoping to finish out of these in the green.
Dumped my 610s on Tuesday and looked to get them early this morning but missed the explosion. Should have just hung on. Live and Learn!
I am in on that AAPL call as well at a 2.36 average. I am expecting a good Friday and have a good feeling we are going to at least crack 615 tomorrow. Just a matter of how quick and how much further after that.
Was intrigued to hear what you had to say about AAPL and then it messed up....so what do you think?!
For tomorrow Ive got:
AAPL weekly 615 C @ 2.39
VXX weekly 15 C @ .30
Could be interesting. Hoping for a typical Friday for AAPL. Sold out on of my 610 C on AAPL Tuesday and missed out on some big returns today.
I've got some at 2.39. I am banking on this playing exactly as the last Friday's have.
Place your bets.
Can't go wrong with taking profits.
Fridays and AAPL have been killing it the last 4 Fridays. I don't doubt that tomorrow will be any different.
630 in the future. I could see 620 end of the week.
haha. yeah. I took a small loss but could have been up huge right now. Short weeks are confusing and seeing as how I am new to options probably should have just stayed out all together.
Looking to play AAPL again tomorrow and see if we get the weekly Friday push.
I thought the same thing about the AAPL 610 C I was holding on Tuesday that I sold before close. Wish I had that back.
Looking at the RSI on the hourly chart.
I hope you are right with 630. I've got some 610 weekly calls.
Broke that 598 mark and has been pretty clear sailing so far. Maybe we just needed you out! ;)
AAPL is very overbought but continues to show strength. Right now struggling with the 598 mark. If it can get a clean break through I think we will see some more solid gains.
Well I'm out for the day. Finished up my intraday trades +145.xx on the AAPL weeklys you guys brought up.
Special Thanks to ImAPuppy as well for helping me understand the exercise stuff.
Awesome. Thanks. I understand the basics but was confused on how the end outcome worked.
Really appreciate your time on that man!
That is perfect. Thanks!
Very new to the game and didn't quite understand how that works.
Another scenario, I hope until expiration...same thing is going to happen correct? lets say I hold the option until it expires in July. I will then buy 100 shares at 40, etc? Or will I make the 4k then?
Ok. But can you speak on the position that I just laid out as I feel that would help more then generalities.
I bought contracts for .80, again for all intents and purposes lets say 1 contract. It is now trading at 2.00.
The way that I am currently thinking is I could sell my 1 contract for $200 and get 120 profit or I could excercise it, since it is in the money (was in the money took a bit of a dip) and make about $4k?
Or is there something I am overlooking?
New to the whole options game. I have some July 2012 40C of SODA that I bought for .80.
It spiked over my strike price of 40.80 today but I didn't exercise because I didn't really know what would happen. I was under the assumption that I had to wait until expiration to exercise.
If I were to exercise early, what would the fees that I am paying? For all intents and purposes lets say I have 1 option. In my thinking I would have been up about $4k had I exercised above the strike. Is this correct?
