I never speak in absolutes. See ya in Hawaii.
Hanging onto that money and growing it is.
Earlier in our ripostes there was a lighthearted whimsy in your responses with at least a slight positive nod to NNVC. I enjoyed that repartee and badinage with you. Recently I perceive a didactical intransigence in your positions. That's too bad. I was looking forward to meeting you in Hawaii (if you'll still admit that as a faint possibility). I'll even buy the drinks and spring for dinner. I know a restaurant in Honolulu that serves a marvelous roasted crow.
If we can't agree on the rules then there's no debate.
That was not the premise of the statement.
Positive results in 6000 animals does not qualify as undeniable success?
Steady T, is Boniuk's latest investment in nnvc just another coincidence or an assumption on my part as you said before.
One must assume that Dr. Milton Boniuk didn't accumulate his millions by making bad investments. The fact that he has now added more shares to his and his foundation's portfolio reinforces my faith in NNVC, its science and its researchers. Great things to come in 2015,
I'm glad you recognize that truth. (Tongue in cheek -- but not.)
Hi Larson,
I believe we will see the successful conclusion of TOX testing, the start (and maybe conclusion of phase 3 Flucide testing) since the successful Ebola antiviral will permit acceleration of FDA approval.
Otodoc, that is a story no mother should have to write. I pray that Dr. Diwan and Dr. Seymour can bring to fruition the antidote to such pain. This woman's story writ large is all to common in a virus infected world.
Whewww!!! Am I glad to see Ovidius back. I was concerned about the large SP drop yesterday, but his return is the bellwether we needed to forecast a turnaround.
I agree with your conclusions. As a large investor and a member of the BOD, I assume Dr. Boniuk was included in the decision making process to re-invigorate the EbolaCide development. His additional investment of $300,000 shortly thereafter bolsters my belief in the science and the company. I've not seen any similarly strong arguments from those who denigrate NNVC.
You just answered your own question.
Why does it upset you that there are "blind faith followers" as you call them. There's no skin off your nose regardless of how their investments turn out. I'm having a hard time figuring you out. You do sound an awful lot like Bunny, but not quite so vitriolic.
That's a very expensive Red Herring. It's probably stuffed with the finest Russian Osetra caviar.
So you think they would risk their "Life Style" positions with an Ebolacide failure. Come on now, you can't have it both ways.
If that were true, I don't think they would risk it with an Ebolacide failure. They'd just keep riding their gravy train until it runs out of gas (Flucide.)
I suspect they have. That's why they are certain they can stop Ebola.
Yes. Thanks.
I don't like to see anyone attack or belittle a good Samaritan who is only trying to save animals.
Your cynicism is bordering on misanthropy.
I love your facility with purple prose. Have you considered writing romance novels - heaving bosoms and all that stuff.
It was several years ago, I don't care whether you believe it's true or not.
I once read that Dr. Seymour always flies economy,
And, I hardly think Dr. Milton Boniuk would invest millions in a scam company.
We get a hole to China and a rocket to the moon!!
Andorra has a mud sloth? Who knew?
Then there's the "Lavender Hill Gang" and "The Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight."
As Ronnie said,"there you go again." And this time with no price blip instigation.
Oh God protect us from ivory tower, academically literate people at NNVC. Give me good, old-fashioned, boots-on-the-ground, experienced technicians and engineers..
Your English professor used terms like horses**t. What school did you got to?
You're obviously too young to understand.
That is just s so sick!!!
Where, oh where, are Adam Smith and Maynard Keynes when we need them!
Hey!!! You said you weren't going to do that anymore.
I totally agree with you on the hiring of experienced chemical/pharmaceutical engineers and production experts. The Docs are great scientists but haven't proved themselves that adept at manufacturing (or managing a business enterprise/)
Thanks for a very cogent reply. Will the lessons learned at the old lab carry over to the five kilogram vats in Shelton?
BK, Dr. Kaz, can someone explain how NNVC was able to produce ?large? quantities of cides in their Wood Street lab for the testing of 6000 animals over a 3/5 year period and are having so much trouble producing 1kg for tox testing? Is there a basic difference in the cides that were used to test (and kill) so many animals and the ones needed for tox? As a bioscience layman I don't understand.
NIH and USAAMRIID.
