If you're skeptical give her a call.
Wow, they did edit that! I still have the old version open in a Tab, I should take screenshots.
Did they cite the wrong Ms. Sides? I found court documents with her name and birthday online (in what I believe was the correct county) and that is what I was referring to.
How Criminal are they? Read.
Michelle Sides:
- Got busted with alcohol under 21... Ok great, so she's on par with 95% of Americans. This is nothing.
- Know why she can't practice law in Florida? Because she is delinquent on her continuing education requirements there. This is nothing.
- I can't find anything on her child neglect charge (Det_Robert_Thorne?). I searched the Palm Beach Country records. I'm guessing she got pulled over with a suspended license, the cop found some paraphernalia and the county threw Child Neglect at her because her kid was in the car? That's my own speculation, but reasonable I'd say. A source would be great.
- The petty theft thing is just stupid on her part. She was ordered to pay $424.90. I wish I could find the documents detailing what happened. Maybe she stole something from a store, or maybe she had a disagreement with a boyfriend.
Theodore Caligiuri:
- Ted has a job at Coldwell? Big deal. MJNA was netting a few hundred grand not too long ago. Do people expect him to be paid millions in a small company like this? Why is this even connected to this article? There is nothing criminal here. This is nothing.
HDDC:
- HDDC holds $1.5m in shares? So. What. This is nothing.
Michael Llamas:
Michael Llams has been indicted, but that is not a mark of guilt. He hasn't been with the company for 5 months and all of this has be known for a long time. This is nothing.
Anthony Imbimbo:
So what if the guy has a culinary arts degree? The man is a chef! Great! He also has a bachelors in accounting and is a CPA.
Also, notice the wording in the article: "herefore unqualified to independently audit an SEC reporting companies" Did you catch that? The author is absolutely correct. The thing is though MJNA is a pink sheet and doesn't report to the SEC! This is nothing.
So here's the "chronically criminal" put into perspective:
A 20 year old girl got busted with some alcohol. A few years later gets she gets pulled over with a suspended license, cop probably fines a pipe and the county throws child neglect at her. After that she's found guilt of petty property theft. She's made some bad decisions.
I should say something about Llamas. Read the bottom of the indictment: "The charges in the indictment are only allegations, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt." and, as stated before - all of this has been known for a long time. He hasn't been found guilty of anything and he hasn't been with the company since September.
The only "criminal" here is Michelle, and I wouldn't even consider her that. She's probably a smart woman who has made some poor choices. Everything else in this article is fear mongering. Fear mongering by an author who is shorting the stock the right before projections are released. People need to stop using Seeking Alpha as a reputable source.
The best shorts could do right before projections was find a couple petty crimes and tell us about an indictment we've known about for a long time. Everything else is them just reaching for anything they can spin. If you were long and this article shook some shares from your hands today, sleep easy this weekend. We're going to be alright.
There we go! Yeah, must have been the https
Hey Rob,
Just a heads up that link you posted won't work. Basically anyone who wants to look it up on their own needs to go to:
http://www.dca.ca.gov/
- Mouse over 'Licencees'
- Select 'License Verification'
- Then select 'Individual License' under Accountancy
- Finally enter in Imbimbo and Anthony for last and first name.
Always appreciate your work Clay.
I would imagine a free trade agreement with Europe would only bolster MJNAs ability to business there should it pass. Long term this may end up being a pretty sweet deal:

The last time he wore that blazer on Fox I thought he looked like a juggalo. This time it actually looked good, especially when you have the chance to see the whole suit as he's walking.
I'm only bringing this up because they didn't mention anything most of us didn't already know. Keep it up Tripp! He's a good spokesman for Dixie and MJNA as a whole.
State of the Union stream: http://www.mediaite.com/online/watch-live-streaming-state-of-the-union-2013/
Just a heads up. I prefer unbiased news, but to each his own.
HOD - High of Day
BB - Bollinger Bands
RSI - Relative Strength Index
STO - Stochastic Oscillator
That's a paid for press release. Try clicking on the "Accesswire" picture.
True, but Kim Jong regulates its use by not supplying any food. Who wants to get the munchies when there's nothing to eat?
Interesting stuff. Also - I'm sure the narrator in the video is the same guy from THCs (ha) 'How It's Made' television series. I would love to watch an episode of that for MJNA/Dixie etc.
That's what I understood.
"Ongoing quarterly and audited annual financial reports posted on OTCQX.com, a premier website for qualifying companies (SEC Registered issuers can use EDGAR)"
Source: http://www.otcqx.com/qx/otcqx/requirements
BUT what gets me is that in their audit, in the second to last paragraph (so you can find it yourself) it says:
"The Company has completed and submitted all documentation necessary for a market tier uplisting (OTC/QX)"
They have been submitting quarterlies, but we only have one that is audited. Maybe that meets the requirements as long as all future ones are audited?
Before things went parabolic last week I, and I know a lot of others here were able to trade this thing pretty reliably. I successfully traded a portion of shares a number of time from .03-.175 selling on pops and buying more on dips. The only time I missed a beat was when I sold at .175, slept on it a night and bought in higher the next morning with extra money at .204 because I could smell the crazy in the air.
Right now is anyones guess really. Might pullback tomorrow and end down ~10%, or we could break our upper resistance and land somewhere in the .50s. Personally I'm afraid to trade a single share because I have no idea if tomorrow is going to shoot up or down 10+++%. I'm just holding long.
My take: this is a new sector that this country has never seen before. It's hard to put a price on something like that. RIGHT NOW this company is not worth $.41/share, BUT most of us are are willing to bet it will be worth at least that in the future. In fact we also think/hope it will be worth a lot more.
I believe he is talking about the markets response to the Presidents State of the Union Address?
Over 70 is a "powerzone"? I've always been under the conclusion that meant it was overbought. Is there a trend or something I'm not aware of that by closing at the HOD with a RSI over 70 equals a "powerzone"?
For those not aware - generally a RSI of >70 = overbought, and <30 = oversold. Look it up if you want.
I wouldn't be worried. We're due for some pullback one of these days. We've had 3 solid days in the green.

Oh. Well hopefully my order will arrive tomorrow and I can write my own review.
I ordered the same thing on Wednesday or Thursday, but it hasn't arrived yet. I'm looking forward to trying it. How long does the effect last on you?
Maybe ~.27 if you're lucky? Also, keep track of the 10dma, MJNA has been doing a bang-up job lately using that as a stepping stone and support level. Thats probably your best bet.
I don't think .21s will happen again unless there is some very bad news.
That memo is basically letting people in the military know - the military will still punish you just the same for using marijuana even if it's legal in your state (or district, or territory).
Ospreyeye, I think the disconnect you're having with others here is you're trying to value the company as it stands today. Most of the others are betting on the potential future value of the company - in a sector this country has never seen before.
If nothing else changed, I would, and I'm guessing many others would agree with you that as it stands MJNA is not worth ~$300m right now. I, along with those others however are betting it will be in the future.
Disclaimer: I got in a year ago at .03, so technically I'm betting the company is worth ~$30m. I'm just really hoping it's worth a lot more.
November 13th - February 11th is 90 days per the rule. So yes.
EDIT: Excuse me, I was looking at the FILED date(November 13th), not the Adopted date which is November 9th. 90 days would land on today.
They have huge margin accounts if they shorted under $.20, haha.
They don't have to cover next week. It all depends on if the price goes up or not. If it goes up they can cover. If they don't want to cover and it keeps going up at some point their broker will force them to cover whether they want to or not.
Theoretically if the stock price never changed, or never went up too much, they could hold their short positions forever. There is no set date.
The most your looking at is whatever your broker charges you to sell, so maybe 10 bucks there. I don't know any prices off hand about the different ways of transferring to your bank, but generally the most expensive is a same day wire. They cost 45 bucks or so, maybe more, maybe less.
Try their site: http://www.medicalmarijuanainc.com/index.php/press/49-press-releases/2013-press-releases/220-medical-marijuana-inc-reports-record-fourth-quarter-2012-revenue-and-income
What he cited was after all of the bullet points.
Here's my hunch why he's wrong: every agency from local to federal is watching them to make sure none of the drugs go to kids, or money and drugs go to cartels. Congress mentions they're talking about loosening up on the sector and letting states decide, and you think they're going to start manipulating their stocks?
A lot of people aren't buying this stock for what its actually worth today. They are buying it for what they believe it will be worth in the future of a new sector that this economy has never seen before.
I did back around elections through USAA. If I called them they would accept sell orders, but no buy orders at all. They gave me they're reasons, but I forgot what they were and promptly moved money to Etrade.
USAA is a great bank despite that, but just the delay costed me quite a bit of money once you extrapolate it to where MJNA is sitting now price wise.
I to was out of my mind. I have a bunch of long shares I won't sell, and another portion I use to buy on dips/sell on pops. I sold the latter portion at .175 on Wednesday expecting a pullback. I spent most of that evening re-analyzing what I thought where the stock was headed. Yesterday, out of character, decided to buy back in higher at .204 with even more money. We just broke .31 as I'm writing this, and god damn I'm happy I did that. I missed a few cents from .175-.204, but that decision was certainly worth it.
Two weeks ago we we're nearing .16 and it pulled back to .12. Now we're getting close-ish to .18, maybe it'll pull back to .14 - .16. We're up 70% for January, and it's been wonderful. I'm just going to keep buying dips and selling pops, and holding my long shares.
I should add - I also moved more money into my brokerage account to buy more on a dip. It seems like we've broken into new territory.
I hold shares from a year ago at $.03 that I'm long on. Than I have another portion I trade with. I sold them about an hour ago at .175 expecting a pull back sometime ~ maybe today, later this week, next week.
