It couldn't possibly be that Genta shareholders are bogging down their server with web page hits, huh?
Get real here, please. Some of us take our money a little more seriously, and the incredible leap from closed down website to buy out is scandalous, in my opinion...Ride it out or sell it out, but lying should not be tolerated...MODERATORS!!! Anyone care to shut this kind of far fetched speculation down a bit...Or are you all in over your heads with this one as well?
Sick!!
All I needed to hear...thanks... off for awhile...Have a great weekend
When you write "N" I believe you mean to be addressing surfking...Am I correct, or are you referring to me?
I haven't made a negative comment...Just for the record...I tend to like this stock
New Addition To Website!! Go to mmusms.com and follow the Affiliates Link...there you can scroll over any of their affiliates and see the ad campaign they are running...Very cool!!
And, surfking, you are absolutely right...Mobile Marketing is most useful as an addition to a multi-faceted marketing approach...
Read "There is no such thing as a mobile campaign" at mobilemarketer.com
My hope is that MMUH has real businesses in their network willing and able to invest in a mobile marketing campaign with them. I think this is what we are all betting on here...So let's see what happens!!
Interesting...thanks!!
I'll take the advice from the likes of Papa John's ($1 million in revenue in 4 months from mobile marketing campaign) to yours any day...Read the stories at mobilemarketer.com...
Big businesses are liking the avenues opened up through cell phone advertising...the laws you refer to are there to protect the consumer, you and me...all of these marketing tools are used on an opt-in basis only...check out optintoday.com for some more details on how this works and what people are saying about the industry
This industry is the real deal, with upward momentum...whether this company is remains to be seen
As many know, you can't decide to buy without all the pieces of the puzzle...but the way things are looking right now, I have bumped my buy in down from .008 to .005 or thereabouts...If I don't get in, then I move on to the next...that is what I do, and it makes up a good portion of my yearly income...If it rides up without me, then great for all others, and if it bellyflops, then too bad...won't be the first stock I'm not in on...
this is a great trading stock..."trading"...know when to buy and when to sell...but a long term hold on a biotech in the position that Genta is in? Not a chance...
JMO, of course, but too many things get in the way of these companies ever pulling themselves out of the wreckage...In biotechs, it is fair to say that the fear should not be buying too high, or missing the ride, but buying too early, rather...
People who invest..."invest" in biotechs do so with a large amount of risk...that is not to say that the industry should not be a part of your portfolio, but this stock in particular should send chills up a long term buyer's spine...The investor knows the hurdles these companies must negotiate to get to any real company gains...It is truly a long, hard road...and to fall back on the fact that they have been in business for 20 years is not reason enough to believe they will be here for 20 more...
Look up MFFAIS (www.mmfais.com)and type in GNTA and see if there are any mutual funds interested...Guess what? I just did...out of the 4, yes only 4, that are holding, 66% are selling and no one is in the buying mode right now, and 2 are all sold out...that should say a lot...
All JMHO, and all traders should do their own DD
No...I'll reply, and I appreciate you keeping it civil...
I was in at .0068...it fell to the .005's and then, on the January 26th and 27th it climbed back up to .008 or thereabouts...not being real specific but grab the chart and look at the date...it sat in the .005 to .006 range from the 13th to the 26th...I sold at .0115 on the 3rd of Feb., for a nice 55% or so...50% is always my goal, so there you have it...
Where did that post come from, Carnelson? How do I find it and the ensuing discussion?
Thanks!
It actually hovered at .005-.006 3 weeks back...at these levels, that is a significant difference...and there is nothing wrong in cutting losses, by the way...it's an intelligent part of a good trader's exit strategy...
I am done with his board...a little too corrupt for me
GLTA
Believe me, I am well able to make decisions for myself...I know how to value acompany and I use TA for the vast majority of my trades...I got over 50% here and I may jump in again...I'll let the situation speak for itself...
You are right...very entertaining!!
Noobalicious, OK...I should have said similar rather than the same...I apologize
This has been a consistent sell-off since the high on February 4th, not, as some call it, a bullish chart...
I have just lowered my buy in to sub 1/2 penny...
Genta has the same pipeline and chances as the other 500 or so biotech companies trying to produce the same drugs...those chances, by mathematics solely, are very slim indeed...
Even if Phase 111 approval (big IF!!), a new drug still has to pass an advisory panel (tough to do...look it up on the FDA website) and then it really gets tough...the business tehn has to have the cash reserves to muck through the world of sales and marketing, something the big boys have teams of people and whole divisions working on (do you think Genta has the cash reserves to survive that battle? Not likely at this point)
If they don't make it alone, then they team up with another company, often taking mere pennies on the dollar to get their drug sold, and guess who comes up short as a result? That's right...the stockholder...biotech is a grisly investment, and one to enter with great caution...Good Luck!
It is, after all, why a company goes public...to liquidate stock stores to raise capital...and biotechs need a ton of it, especially Genta right now. I'll watch the elevator riide to my sub penny target once again...
It is utterly shocking how many here have absolutely no foundation with the biotech process, yet they open the doors to these get rich quick gurus...GL with that...
It is in one of their SEC filings...Form 211, I believe...just found it on pink sheets...
The question remains...why file if there is bad news?
Because they are setting up a strong business model, and this is step one...become transparent...and sometimes transparency reveals some setbacks...
I am stoked that their is an open book policy...once again they have followed through with the promises they made late '08
Takes all kinds to create a forum, lol
They have updated their filings with Pink Sheets as of yesterday, the 17th...the filings go all the way back...rating at Pink Sheets bumped up...Good Stuff!!
There are whole volumes out on Self-fulfilling prophecy...If you believe it will nose dive at .0004 and the next guy believes it, then guess what...the truth of the matter?
This company has a genuine busness model, and they have acted on and implemented that business plan.
If the time line doesn't work for you, it is in your best interest to play this quick, turn it over, and go right on to the next turn and burn. I do it here and there myself.
But what this PR revealed is that the silence is over, and BCND is aware of the anxiety levels of the shareholders, and they are still taking steps forward with their agenda.
Real estate takes time...mineral and gas rights take time...I am no expert in this field specifically, but just see this for what it is...GREAT NEWS!!
We will see some positive momentum established here, I think...
PS- worst case scenario, look at BBDA and the momentum move there...Volume started almost 48 hours in advance of a news release...dead for months before...billions in outstanding shares...I see similarities..BBDA started their run at .0002 and finished yesterday, a week later (approximately) at .0019....10 bagger!!
Just hold on and see how this goes, JMO
Let's see what Monday brings.
GLTA
I lost hope in BBDA and sold at my buy-in of .0002 a few days back to watch it today hit, what, I think .0019...almost a 10 bagger...LOL...stranger things have happened...gotta love the risk around here and remember your goals/strategies when the going gets rough...I take a loss like a man and don't complain...I'll continue to hold BCND and look for the next news release before making any decisions...GLTA
thd bid is .02 at Fidelity and .4 at TDA
Never mind the stockcahrts comment...my bad...but the variance between Fidelity and TDA is massive!
Trying to make sense out of this...Fidelity shows the ASK at 1.50...TDA shows the ASK at .45 and stockcharts shows the ASK at.00...What is up with this?
I get that...Caveat emptor is threatening...Put that alongside the R/S and you have a waiting game, I suppose...but all the gung-hos from 1 week ago? Funny how these pinks work...a very fragile and frail following...Takes a little risk tolerance around here...I've lost a few (understatement), but my gains outplay my losses by a long shot...gotta be in it to win it, I figure...
Why, may I ask, is the Bid not stepping up with the buys taking place? Everybody dumping? I am at a loss, unfortunately...time will tell, though...
Ah...one hearty soul is hanging in there, eh? Good luck with it...I am looking for this thing to turtle its way to victory, lol.
ECHO....echo....Population Zero, huh? Guess we'll see you on the upside...GLTA
Trickling in...maybe we set up support at .40? Let's hope so...not a bad drop considering R/S. They need time to settle and consolidate...Maybe a couple weeks? We'll see
Bid up...closing that gap a little, George...
Wrong...just recalc'd...at about .00168 or current .84...shooting for $5.00 or so, I think...thats the low end of all the number crunching, but I get nervous easy...maybe I'll close half my position there and leave the rest to chance
Congrats on that...I'm at about .003 at this point, and have faith...
This is a quiet room today...
ok, then...lol... i'm a little dated, it seems...gn
I feel pretty good about what I gathered today as well...Night all
PS- I have a media kit in a pdf file that David Moceri sent to me...I don't know how to share it, though...any advice?
Just wondering...I would like to hear of a business that says they are doing business with MMU...Sure make me feel warm and cozy!
Has anyone heard from any of the affiliates on the list as of yet? Any verification that MMU is in business?
I don't have any applicable experience with reverse splits, but that equates to 7,500,000 million shares a week ago, pre-split. Assuming it is the same people playing this stock at MMUH as were in at VRGD, it seems logical that volume would decrease for a period of time.
ouch...sorry, george, just gotta see the good things here. We have a company that has panned out every deal in the last 6 months, the website looks great, they take calls, they gave us an update before the split...these things don't look manipulative to me. Just my opinion. GLTA
I have been in touch with David Moceri, COO of MMU, Inc. Amicable guy, and very helpful..He sent me out a media kit which looks very professional, and he dropped contacts such as Papa Johns and Ruths Chris.
For the time being, I think we can honestly say this thing is up and running. 3 different voices answered their phone on the 3 different calls I made, so this is no one-man show.
David made a point of saying that MMU owns their own database of cell phone info, which puts them a step ahead of the competition. Everything I learned today seemed on the up and up.. TRADE WITH CONFIDENCE...LET US COMMENCE, lol
Anybody else see HAYZ at .13? I thought we closed Just over .1 on Friday...after hours hyping up for the coming week or what?
This has been debased as much as any message board...pathetic...
If anyone is buying this truckload then I don't know what to say...I am not a pumper or a dumper...Just an investor...
But I would hope that context woud play a part in anyone's decision making...CONTEXT!!
Mobile Media walking away from a tentative agreement with a supposed scamming or spamming or etc. company is not bad news in my book...
Let's see how this all plays out...
GLTA and do your own DD...relying on this stuff is bound to get you broke!! LOL
We have concrete that MMU is on the members list with the MMA (Mobile Marketing Association), for a substantial investment...We have blue chip banners running on their website, and we have HOPE!!!
I'll fill you in on affiliate responses shortly
