Another week of data added to the RoadMap Chart at #board-2299
As you might have noticed the Turnips have turned back to neutral and expect to get the bull's horns back on during the next week #msg-4788000
Have a good weekend...
Andreas
Another week of data in the RoadmapChart at #board-2299
Have a nice Sunday...
Andreas
You're quite some guy, 5 posts and 8 ignores on those (I wonder what the record might be...)
Another week of data filled up in the Roadmap Chart at #board-2299
As you probably have noticed Zeev gave a possible outlook for the time after Feb 2005 in #msg-4656538 and #msg-4670053
Have a nice Sunday and a good trading week
Andreas
Is this meant to be (or become) a new map?
I have left some money on the table in the last two weeks (darn those sandals! which still refuse to get back into my wanting arms), also the dollar weakness is eating into my profits.
The good side is that I still made some good money as OAs have been reached in CMN, BLTI and POOL, so my cash level is still quite high but I'll try to get back into CMN and POOL. I'll leave BLTI though as I consider myself lucky to have gotten out of a bad earnings report with a nice profit...
Meanwhile got back into CCMP and GVHR at a nice discount, also a second portion of SLXP came in so cash is not as high as last week though I'm still waiting for some steam to get out of this boiling kettle. My indicators are showing negative divergences already so I guess it can't be that far...
Lee, FWIW I've once had a PC that shut the power switch on me every so often. I first thought of heat problems due to a defect chip but then I found out about a broken wire within the AC/DC adapter.
Did not throw the darn thing out of the window (should have gotten a medal for this because this saved some lives on the street below) but bought a new power unit instead.
Black holes maybe? (might be a bad omen though..)
Enjoy it anyway - Happy Holiday to you and all the others on the thread
Naming your turkeys after hurricanes?
quite some statement for somebody whose alias has been born 3 days ago...
What's it of your concern anyway? Do you need somebody telling you what to buy and what to sell? This is the wrong board for you then.
Very nice suit indeed...
of course, now that you're telling it <g>
Thanks for telling me, see how mistakes repeatedly go unnoticed by your brain...
So that's the true reason you don't post a photo of yourself in a teddybear suite - 'they' would assume your call would not be a serious one and really bring the market down instead. To bad, I'm sure all of us here would love that image!
Hedging the hedge is a complex game it seems...
Another week af data plus two more calls in the RoadMapChart at #board-2299
As you surely know the turnips turned neutral on 11/17 #msg-4590170 and zipped up the teddybear suite again on 19/11 #msg-4617550
I wish I could see Zeev in that suite <g>
Have a nice Sunday
Andreas

I have a bid in the market at 28.39, I'm not raising it to around 29 yet as I think there's another leg down.
same here, maybe they are hedging the hedge?
Your post made me look it up - ARO - and again I like what I see. The chart looks like its coiling up for a nice jump and the sheets look good IMO (I must admit though that I can be very easlily fooled with these). I might try to get some tomorrow but I have not decided on an entry point yet. They might even do a HANS on them, closing the gap...
This again gives me good reason for expressing my gratitude for pointing out interesting plays of which I would never have heard otherwise.
Got three fills today (CCMP 37.13, SLXP 15.91, CMN 26.42) and ZBRA fell into my arms on Tuesday for 49.98 so I've got some of my last sales back for a better price already. The sandals (and others of course) seemingly don't want to come back into my folio but I'm patienly waiting for the COMP to correct...
I have daily Outrageous Asks on most stocks, placed at levels where I see resistance in an exuberant move. Since I trade from Germany and can't follow the market all the time this has proven quite effective for me.
Of course often enough the stocks react really wild and continue their rise after I sold, but life is full of missed opportunities...
The farmer has put the bear suite on again: #msg-4571629
To reflect this I have updated the RoadMapChart at #board-2299
Have a good trading week...
Andreas
Coming back from dinner I found the mail in my inbox. Earned a very nice 3,17 cushion on my first pos. -CMN - but I'll probably try to buy back between 24.64 and 25.75 as I think this one might see 32 quite soon if they repeat their last big move.
Lets hope for a sharp and short retrench, meanwhile I have about 10-15 OBs everyday and I would like some fills eventually. I have 1993 now as a turn, 1953 would have been better IMO but who am I to guess the bottoms...
Bear suite noted...
CMN printed 2756 now, havent got confirmation yet but this can take time with my broker, which somehow is not very fast in NYSE stocks
I've got 27.52 as a high on my cheap feed so far... It's typing 27.52 again as i write this so chances are I wont bite into a big chunk of wood once more
Just checking my desk before dinner and see that hopefully I should be next in line as I have an ask for my 2nd pos at 27.54 - CMN. Keeping the first one though as I want to stay around with most of what is left now in my folio
your last point is the really important one IMO. (>>as the price goes down, the market expands, dramatically.)
I follow SNDK about since they went public and this has been EH's credo from the beginning. To understand this one just has to look back, how missing the fast $$ created a powerhouse which is quite different from RMBS which eventually will follow the dinos unless they reinvent themselves.
The street has punished SNDK very hard several times for stubbornly following this attitude, creating great opportunities in this stock and I think we are seeing another one of these now. I've had an order in for them below 20 now for some days and I might want to pay more if they don't arrive here soon.
Another week of data in the Roadmap Chart at #board-2299
The new chart not only looks better, it also saves me considerable work and thus my old friend is purring sweetly down under the sofa. Happiness accross the whole family - I like that..
Have a nice weekend everybody
Andreas
Just pointing you to the new RoadmapChart, major redesign as they say...
#board-2299
Hope you like it, since it's your fault that this thing started <ggg> (no more nice icons though, importing bitmaps is one thing this fabulous software does not allow yet)
the promised 'Major Redesign' is online now - take a look at the new RoadMapChart at http://www.investorshub.com/boards/board.asp?board_id=2299
I finally caught the old friend at his hiding place and it was worth the effort. What started as a small excel sheet in January now finally became sort of part of my charting software so the mass of forks (and falling knives) can be followed in a better way.
Of course it would be possible to add indicators inside of the chart or as a bottom window but I decided against it for the moment as they seem to distract more than anything else. If you think different - tell me.
Best regards
Andreas

I got to 39% cash myself today, quite unusual for me but then I got rid of my 3rd HANS yesterday at 27.69 (way to early of course) and after dinner I just found out that TEVA followed today at 27.23
I've missed several strong second legs in the last two days, but what can I do - I have to enter my daily OAs before open as I can't follow much ID these days and hardly find the time to react. I'm staying in my double HANS though as that new high looks very strong to me and there's quite a possibility they might break that rising wedge to the upside.
Ever so often I find out I got rid of the runners and stay with the bore (aka what you call the core), so the market definetely has to come down now for another round of shopping...
I will have an order out to buy back my second position at 17.23 for the next couple of days (until I change my mind of course). I'd lower it to 16.53 if the COMP misbehaves badly ST
Just came back from my dinner table for a last glance to see my second pos of BLTI got sold for 7.74 (one cent less than you got, but then you probably bought cheaper than 7.12, so we're even I guess.<g>) Also last BSTE went here for 54.07 so its a great day after all for many bios/meds and for me as well.
Hopefully we'll get a reasonable retrench now as my cash level is getting higher than I planned it to be for the short/mid term. (Also I do want my sandals back...) As we're still clinging to the upper range of the recent channel I think that an ID bottom at 1959 next friday would be a perfect setup. But then again things nearly always turn out to be different than what I would like them to be.
and my sale might indeed have been early here but I have to get back to my other work so I decided to take the 3.14 offered and let the first position ride.
sold 2nd pos for 18.27 instead, I didnt like how the second leg was a bit crippled...
So I just raised it to 18.67 <ggg>
Yes, lets hope they don't do a HANS on us.
Unfortunately I cant follow all the time so it will probably run like others I have missed lately. Thinking about a buy back at 17.23 though in case i get a fill
Finally... I have an ask in at 18.07 for the second position, which would give me a nice cushion of 2.93$ for the first one (still in the red from 18.97)
in edit - just raised it to 18.57 as this level was so easily broken
Of course you are right, the BBs etc. are just my default view of the COMP and I will probably remove them for the RoadMap Chart, depending on how much info I can enter into it without clogging it...
Try again http://www.universalblue.de/Roadmap/RoadMapChart.PNG
No, only the last calls are included so far and the labeling is not done yet. Also only the very first map of 2004 is in the new chart, as I intend to try different views etc. before I enter everything from scratch.
So take it just as what it means to be, a sort of preview...
Very likely it will become neccessar to split the chart into two views, daily and weekly as my charting SW allows me only to display 50 units (d/w/m) of the future (wish it would let me look into it as well <g>)
A MAJOR REDESIGN of the chart is in progress, chatch a glimpse at

Zeev officialy went neutral on 11/03 as he noted in this post #msg-4466137 so I've added a yellow arrow for the visual oriented among you.

I have two OAs in the market but got myself a 3rd pos @26.42, I could not resist. Further I have another bid in @25.37 in case they want to really fool around. - HANS
The numbers were quite spectacular IMO so I'm still with you for a new high soon.
TEVA should react differently as well BTW, their numbers were quite good as well and I consider recent drop as a buying opportunity. I'm already hanging in there though with one pos in the red and I don't want to double up on it
