I'm pretty sure the smelter hasn't changed; just the broker..
jtf
Me too...
jtf
FYI, schwab might allow buying/selling but they DO NOT accept certificates....
jtf
BTW, I know some shareholders in big positions that have done a "BK" valuation and its much higher than today's price....
jtf
T, that is the ultimate question and certainly, imo, the make or break of the company at this stage. I truly do not know if they have it. I do know they are working on it very, very dilegently and are talking to many potential lenders. Personally, i think they will pull off some sort of ST financing to ease the bleed and get revenues/mill more consistant and then they have a fair chance of LTF. But then again, I've heard that before... its a very, very tough environment for mine lending right now... I do know con is being shipped and sold which certainly helps at this time... they are survivors and just maybe they will defy the odds right now and shock us all...jmo
jtf
More than the zero you implied...
I know for a fact that many truck loads have been shipped the last several months since the PR.
jtf
My sample is in a 6 oz plastic cup and its only 1/2 full... just wanted everyone to know that it is very, very dense material.
jtf
Or perhaps a vote to "look" into that option to address perceived manipulation... they looked and, IMO, it isn't in the works...
jtf
Did you factor in the density of the con? I have some and it is very, very heavy material...
jtf
Resource World, a well respected mining industry magazine, has an article that basically gives "in ground" value at approx 5-10%.
jtf
Edgar Blanco is the name I've heard.
jtf
I respect that... but "green"?? A flotation mill?? Anyway, I don't think its the kind of smelter you're thinking of.... more of a "new process" on a much smaller scale that accomplishes the same thing... but its all speculation right now. Probably won't happen... I think they have their plate full right now anyway...
jtf
They want to as soon as they can afford a small ($15mm) one.
jtf
Hayden AZ
CPRK is NOT buying back shares right now...
jtf
Sneaky???!! Just plan on an increase to 5B... it will probably happen (at least I'm planning on it). Unless anyone else out there has a better suggestion on how to finance the project until LTF is obtained?? ...didn't think so.
jtf
RDG, I've heard rumors of several informal offers over the past 2 years even higher than what's been posted, but I've also heard the company is not for sale. The key people strongly believe the company is extremely undervalued currently and believe the value will be maximized long term by holding on, mining the area (w additional exploration) and providing possible dividends in the future to those who hang on. They do believe the value to be in the dollar(s) pps. Not my opinion, but theirs...
jtf
If you talk dilution, please try to include a discussion on what we received for that dilution. TIA
jtf
RDG, my guess is between 350m and 400m. The other "key" people could own around 300m each...but just an educated guess.
jtf
Interesting day; obviously somethings up. Who really knows, but amongst the posts, rumors and speculation this is FACT on what I do know:
Gold $1200 @ oz
Silver $18 @ oz
Copper $3 @ lb
And there is PLENTY of it down there that someone will process...
jtf
T, Here is my read:
1. O Hurley thing... weird. Others involved; not what it appears.
2. Current sell off due to (IMO): WUCC restricted shares coming off restriction (Wilf and his cronies..), possibly shares held for loans being called in (will pass), manipulation...???, panic / daytraders giving up, and rumors
3. Mill is still be dialed in each day. Cementation process a good thing.
4. LTF still be worked on (better be). Company needs cash. This will be the make or break issue....
5. Company working on cash flow positive within months.
6. Keep eye on the asset; not the BS.
jmo
jtf
Web, why don't you just post them?
jtf
Web, could you please check your math on your VERY specific 78% vote? Last I heard, they had 5 members. Ummmm, 4 out of 5 would be 80%....close. Maybe they have 7 on the board now?? ... dang, still can't get the numbers to work out. I guess 7 out of 9 would work (rounded)?? Gee I wonder if they have 10 and 7.8 people voted for it...hate to be that .8 guy (unless the mill gobbled up an arm or leg...no wonder the con % was low that day..)!! ...jk w ya!! :)
jtf
Maybe, or maybe they voted to look into it for reasons other than the sinister reasons WEB portrays. If they did look into it, I have a feeling that they found it just wasn't what they thought it would do.... jmo. I do believe at the appropriate time they will still implement a stock buy back strategy to help w the pitiful share structure. Whether they're right or not, I do know they all believe the pps is WAY undervalued (at least forward looking).
jtf
Web; ur getting bad info... imo. Discussing ALL strategies and voting and actually doing it are 2 completely different things.
jtf
3F, fwiw, the acerage number has been mis-reported (maybe not the best word) since I've been involved in the company 2+ years. I've heard and read it (mgt, website and PR's) between 100,000 and 59,000. Doesn't answer the question but just an fyi.
jtf
If the metal broker becomes an issue, I'm confident that there are other brokers that will have an interest. jmo.
jtf
I must agree w Z. There are a few international shareholders so its not completely american owned; only mgt is completely american... splitting hairs...
jtf
Please check your dd again; they announced LTF w OCS which eventually fell through..
Except they're broke until LTF is secured... all of this takes substantial money...
jtf
Oh yes it did, June 2008
No, the SX-EW is still projected to come on line in early - mid 2010 (I think it will be mid-late summer 2010). The equipment has been purchased (.10 on the dollar) through a BK sale from a defunct mine in Yerington, NV and is currently being prepared for shipment. CPRK still has to build the infa-structure necessary for this process. The SX-EW should increase CPRK's potential revenues by 50% or more. All this info is what I've been told by mgt. Hope it helps.
jtf
Web, imo, any LTF will not be enough (nor should be earmarked for privitazation). There are plenty of uses for the funds including share buy back. I know your "contacts" are saying it, but I'm betting against it. I think youre getting bits and pieces of heresay/possible info...jmo.
jtf
So if they didn't increase shares to pay for our asset, how should they have done it? I heard and read what you did. They didn't absolutely guarantee no increases... they didn't want to but had to.
Just the private issue is what I was referring to. The buy back is a real possibility and something mgt has declared intent.
This is correct...
I guess anythings possible; but IMO it won't happen. I'm just not buying into the conspiracy theory of MD or others (i know you do and maybe for your own valid reasons). "They" are probably exploring all options available to them right now for many reasons... but I still believe in the thought that shareholders like you and I will be considered (not to mention fudiciary obligations).... I guess time will tell...which is and has taken longer than anyone ever imagined...
jtf
RDG, (PM) I've heard that too... might have as to "look into it to mainly stop manipulation" but IMO, ain't happening...
