PURIO TO CLEAN THE HUDSON! LOL, They don't even have a working unit yet in action and you think they will clean the Hudson River? This is a riot folks! By the way, a new market awareness starts tomorrow, good luck!
I'll say! wow
"i am trying to determine whether it is a company,"
WHAT?
Why is that even a concern?
"I love what this company is doing:>>>>"
What are they doing?
Can you ask him for some facts this time? Ask him for numbers on the UltraSafe units, ask him for a number of units sold in the last month. Simple straight forward question that should be extremely easy to answer for any company such as this.
Ask him what the profit margin per unit is.
Ask him besides the network marketing what other avenues are taken to sell these units.
Ask him who to contact for replacement filters and maintenance.
Ask him if the units are NSF certified. I'm sure they are but ask so that we know for sure.
Ask him about the Vancouver deal. Is it put on hold indefinately becuase of snow? So if they don't fire up the helicopter this spring how will the clarifiers be moved and installed? Ask him about the permits filed. That should be easy to verify. Have permits been filed?
Ask him about how they plan on removing the sludge? Do they have a plan of action for this? Again, preapproval and permits?
Selecting A Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System
With so many reverse osmosis drinking water systems available for the home, it can be challenging to select the right one. Here we review the reverse osmosis process and describe some of the available product types and features that can help you to select the correct system for your application.
Reverse Osmosis Function
First, a brief non-technical description of reverse osmosis function. In the home, reverse osmosis systems (sometimes referred to as RO), produce purified water used for drinking and cooking. Also called “point-of-use” systems, they are typically designed to be installed beneath the kitchen sink, and include a faucet for dispensing the purified water. In very general terms, this process involves a semipermeable membrane which will only allow relatively pure water to pass through it. On one side of this membrane, there is a high concentration of impurities (raw, unprocessed water). Pressure is applied on this unprocessed water to make it flow through the membrane, and out to the other (low pressure) side. Purified drinking water is collected on the low pressure side of the membrane. Impurities that were not able to pass through the reverse osmosis membrane are washed to drain. Purified water is either stored in a small reservoir tank, or dispensed directly to a faucet.
Types of Reverse Osmosis Membranes
While there are many different types of reverse osmosis membranes, generally only two types are used to prepare drinking water in the home. One system uses a cellulose triacetate membrane, commonly called a “CTA”. The other more common, and generally higher quality, system uses a thin film composite membrane called a “TFC”.
The CTA membrane is organic by nature, and requires disinfection to prevent the growth of bacteria. You most commonly see these systems in municipal (city) water applications, as it is important for the supply water to be chlorinated when using a CTA membrane. Reverse osmosis systems that use CTA membranes can be more affordable, but sometimes can produce a lower volume and quality of purified water. CTA based systems typically contain a sediment pre-filter, followed by the membrane, and a post filter (or filters) that contain carbon. Again, CTA membrane systems should only be used with a chlorinated water supply.
A more common RO system, used in both municipal and well water applications, is one that uses a TFC membrane. TFC membranes are inorganic, and therefore not susceptible to bacterial growth. These membranes also provide a high quality and quantity of purified water, however, TFC membranes are damaged when chlorine is present in the water. For this reason all TFC systems utilize a carbon pre-filter. Carbon easily absorbs chlorine, protecting the downstream membrane from attack, and eventual failure. In chlorinated water applications, it is important to replace the carbon pre-filter on a regular basis, to insure continued protection of the TFC membrane. In well water applications where chlorine is not present, a TFC system is always the preferred choice. TFC systems normally contain a combination sediment/carbon pre-filter, followed by the membrane, and additional carbon post filters.
Tank vs. Tankless
After purified RO water is produced, traditional RO drinking water systems use a small storage tank to hold the water until dispensed. These tanks are typically 4 gallons in size, with an internal plastic bladder. The bladder holds about 2 gallons of water, and the remaining tank volume contains pressurized air, that provides the force required to send the purified water to the dispensing faucet. If RO water remains in a storage tank for an extended period of time, it can develop a “flat” taste. Most better quality systems include an inline carbon filter that is located between the tank and the dispensing faucet. This filter “polishes” the RO water and provides a fresh taste.
The tankless RO system is a new design on the market. This design incorporates multiple TFC reverse osmosis membranes, and provides direct dispensing of purified water to the tap. Tankless systems do not require a water storage tank, are more compact than traditional systems, and occupy less cabinet space. A tankless RO can deliver a large volume of water quickly, and sometimes (depending on the model), to multiple dispensing locations throughout the home. Since the dispensed water is prepared on-demand, it can also have an improved taste. The disadvantage is that cost of these systems is usually higher than traditional RO, and there are also more membranes to replace. Tankless systems typically perform best at pressures above 40 psi, and lower pressure applications may require a pressure booster pump.
Efficiency & Quality
Reverse osmosis systems send water to drain during the water purification process. Measurement of the efficiency of this process system “recovery”. The amount of water consumed during reverse osmosis primarily has to do with water quality, pressure, and temperature. However, the design of the system also plays a large part. Better quality systems send 2 to 4 gallons of water to drain for every gallon of water produced (approximately 25-30% efficient). Lower cost systems usually have a reduced rate of recovery, and can send as much a 6 gallons or more to drain for every gallon of water prepared (less that 15% efficient).
When considering a traditional reverse osmosis system that utilizes a water storage tank, it’s is important to select one that that includes an automatic shut-off valve (also referred to as an ASO valve). This valve stops the water manufacturing process when the storage tank has reached it’s full capacity, and reduces the amount of water sent to drain.
Another important consideration when selecting an RO drinking water system is product certification. The National Sanitation Foundation (www.nsf.com) and the Water Quality Association (www.wqa.com) are two independent third party associations that certify reverse osmosis drinking water systems to a quality standard. A system that meets or exceeds NSF Standard 58 or WQA Gold Seal certification is a tested product, and is assured to provide high quality drinking water.
"is now trading at an extreme value!!!"
You aint seen nothing yet imo!
Show me some revenue?
Show me a signed contract?
Show me ANYTHING other than "next week", or "we can save the world" posts. Anything?
POSSIBLE CONATMINATES IN YOUR CITY WATER? Come on people, a simple carbon block water filter for less than a hundred bucks from your local hardware store will remove ANY contaminates down to .2 microns that MIGHT end up in your drinking water, please. This is really becoming a sort of a joke isn't it? LOL
I predict this stock to be in the .08 range this week. Best of luck to everyone!
The need for fresh water, it's really not that hard. Yes we know there is a problem out there. How about posting solutions that actually work?

I guess I can't post other companies here since they were deleted before but I'll PM them to you when I get a chance. I do believe the one in India is a private company.
What I don't understand about the pr and the contracts is that they never give actual facts. I'm curious why everything is always such a big secret. So they have a contract for a large campus etc. What campus, what company? Where? If they have a "contract" then it shouldn't be a problem to disclose common information that any other company would pr. I just don't understand and so I'm very leary at this point of anything being pr'd that isn't verifiable.
When they actually start pr'ing facts I might actually buy as an investment instead of flipping the promo's. LOL
"He may or may not be involved with Purio at this time, but WOW look at this guys resume!"
You're correct, he has nothing to do with this company. So how is this related to Purio?
Why not discuss Sierra Leone? Does anyone actually think PURIO will be doing business there? Really? And on the topic of the "contracts" for the Ultra Safe. What kind of contracts? Do you mean they "signed up" a representative for the network marketing program? Anyone remember Amway or the multitude of other network marketing deals out there? There is so much speculation here without any factual evidence of anything, sad.
"On the dusty trash strewn streets of the Sierra Leonean capital, Freetown, men, women, and children with missing arms and legs wander aimlessly through half-completed concrete buildings. The surrounding hills are covered with hastily constructed shanties made of corrugated iron, plastic, or any other material that can be turned into shelter. Further a field in the countryside, villages lay barren and evoke only the horrific memories of an almost decade-old civil war. This war-torn West African society, which every passing day teeters on collapse, is the last place in which one would expect the “cat and mouse” game between the West and Islamic extremists to unfold. As the al-Qaeda network morphs from a defined terrorist group into an amorphous ideology of “al-Qaedism,” Sierra Leone--because of its historical ties to terrorism, internal dynamics, and external influences--could soon be pushed to the forefront of the war against terrorism.
Sierra Leone has a history of harboring Islamic militants. The first group to find sanctuary in the country was Hezbollah. From the 1980s onwards, Hezbollah agents, aided by the local Lebanese population, have operated out of Sierra Leone. In 1986, Yasser Arafat entered into negotiations with former President Joseph Momoh to build a PLO training camp on an island off of the coast of Freetown [1]. Further evidence of the ties arose when The United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) released a report on the relationship between al-Qaeda, Charles Taylor, and the infamous Revolutionary United Front of Sierra Leone (RUF). The report showed that in the months prior to 9/11, al-Qaeda and the RUF, with Charles Taylor serving as conduit, traded money and weapons for diamonds. Sierra Leone’s historical ties to Muslim extremists appear to still be intact. According to a December 2004 article in Freetown’s African Champion, two al-Qaeda operatives returning from Pakistan were arrested while trying to enter Sierra Leone [2]. Moreover, in July 2005 three Middle Eastern “businessmen” with suspected ties to terrorist groups were arrested near the Liberia-Sierra Leone border [3].
These are unlikely to be isolated incidents. Indeed, as the United States and its allies deny terrorists safe havens in the Middle East, Asia, and the Sahel countries, the Muslim states of West Africa will likely become destinations for Islamic terrorist groups. Due to its internal features, Sierra Leone is a likely destination for terrorists. Together, the country’s demographics, corruption, and unregulated territories and industries create an environment where terrorists can operate with almost total impunity.
Sierra Leone is a multi-racial society. Although the vast majority of people are of African descent, there are also Lebanese, Pakistani, and Indian communities. 60 percent of the population is Sunni Muslim, 30 percent follow indigenous religions, and the remaining ten percent is a mixture of Christians and Shi’ite Muslims of Lebanese descent [4]. These demographic factors combined with a substantial Lebanese presence enable terrorists to operate in Sierra Leone.
The Lebanese merchant class has historically served as the link between this small West African state and the broader radical Islamist movement. Hezbollah and now al-Qaeda have used their contacts within this community to acquire documentation, travel certificates, and financing for terrorist operations. These activities are aided by the corrupt government of Sierra Leone.
Similar to most states in Africa, Sierra Leone struggles with endemic corruption at all levels of society, especially at the governmental level. The most recent case of the government’s collusion with individuals linked to terrorist groups involves a British national named Paddy McKay, who is wanted in the UK for alleged involvement with al-Qaeda. According to a report in the Freetown Peep, Paddy McKay with the help of Khalil Lakish, a Sierra Leonean of Lebanese descent who is also under investigation for bribery of government officials and ties to Hezbollah, obtained Sierra Leonean registrations for four planes with fraudulent information. The planes have since been tied to terrorist activity. According to two separate reports in The Independent and the Freetown Peep, McKay, who they allege also has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Algeria’s Jamaat al-Islamia, has been using the Sierra Leonean registered planes to traffic illicit diamonds and distribute weapons to the Middle East and the Horn of Africa.
Francis Bockari, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Transportation and Communication stated that “McKay enjoys a normal and professional business relationship with the department of Civil Aviation and the Government of Sierra Leone… all airline operators are properly registered and do not have any terrorist connections” [5]. This incident highlights the relationship between the global terrorist infrastructure, the local Lebanese merchant class and corrupt Sierra Leonean government officials. According to another report in the Freetown Peep, al-Qaeda has sought to use their local connections to acquire Sierra Leonean passports on several occasions [6]. Sierra Leone’s internal environment offers one final advantage to terrorists: lack of government oversight over the diamond industry that is predominately monopolized by unscrupulous Lebanese merchants.
The diamond industry has long been a source of revenue for the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah and more recently al-Qaeda. Douglas Farah of The Washington Post and the UNAMSIL mission in Sierra Leone have conducted extensive research on the links between al-Qaeda, Charles Taylor, and the RUF. Since the end of Sierra Leone’s civil war, the country has experienced a “diamond boom,” according to Mohammed Deen, the Minister of Mines [7]. In 2004, the country “officially” exported $130 million worth of diamonds; however, according to UN special envoy Daudi Mwakawago, the diamond industry in Sierra Leone actually exported somewhere between $300 million and $500 million in 2004 [8]. These figures indicate that between one-half to two-thirds of the diamond industry is not regulated. In an industry where some of the traders are already known to have ties to terrorist groups, and where the elements of the former RUF still control the diamond mining regions, it is likely that al-Qaeda will again return to Sierra Leone’s diamond mines if they have not already."
"(they already 3 contracts signed and delivered)"
Who already has 3 contracts signed and delivered? Link?
There are dozens of other companies out there with the same or better. They also have working products in the field. I posted a handful of them with links but were removed for being off topic. Check India and Africa with a google search, you will find them.
Also on the other side of things, the RO units. There are literally hundreds of them out there with the same or better products. This company sells them through network marketing which almost always means higher prices for the units. This info is also available through a google search.
Yes I see the island, the great big 300 mile long island with a population of over 750,000 with miles of roads and highways. Is that the one? Tell me again why they couldn't bring out a simple crate sized box that would easily fit on the back of a truck to the island? They would have to helicopter it in? How dumb do you think investors are? Obviously they're not so dumb, this thing is dropping because there is nothing to invest in, period.
Believe me, snow is not a problem for commerce in that area. Vancouver island is 300 miles long with a population of over 750,000 people. Which island exactly are you talking about stevo? Or do you even know? I'm sorry but I just don't believe a word of any of it anymore. First it's Africa, then it's not. Now it's an island, which island? Let's hear some facts for a change. Well PURO, do you think you can do that?
True, I would hardly call it holding it's own. Without news of an actual working product being used along with some revenue numbers this is heading for sub penny land imo.
From the sounds of things this "clarifier" will be used for a single dwelling or maybe a small resort, that's IF they can even pull permits etc. for such a device. They still have the toxic sludge issue to deal with. What are they going to do with it, haul it off the island in bagies? If they were allowed to have a septic system in the first place they wouldn't need puro right?
All this talk of saving the worlds water problems is just silly. It's off topic imo because it's such a reach it's not even funny.
Let's get real here, let's hear about even ONE SINGLE example of the clarifier being used in the real world generating revenue, let's see it.
When this company has an actual working clarifier in the field and can show revenue from such then I may be more inclined to buy the stock. As it stands this is speculative at best.
Why is it such a big secret? Why doesn't the company let on?
AMNE will be creating a special class of Preferred stock that will be issued to all shareholders of record on January 23, 2009, the record date. The Preferred shares can be converted into common stock after One year at the rate of Five Common shares for every One Preferred redeemed. Nice EOD paint job! I'm expecting .07-.08 tomorrow. Night Puro's! LOL
Thanks, I'll be there!
Ah heck it's just a little nippy out!
Still holding ALL of my PLM stock and will buy more if it drops near .60 again. Just won't be doing much on these boards anymore and decided not to be part of it, cancelled my subscription and mod jobs. PLM is fine, good luck everyone.
Frankly I'm very surprised this is even trading at 10 cents being a speculative stock. Without revenue, contracts etc. this should be trading at a penny or less imo. So far all I can find are studies, tests and forward looking statments. Nothing in concrete at all. But who knows, they could come through with a real product and a few contracts. I'll wait until I actually see something to invest in before I pull the trigger here.
If you say so. I tried to warn ya stevo, better luck next time! Good luck!!!!
I wasn't here because I was put in jail for speaking the truth and exposing the thieves. This was pumped and dumped, period.
I wouldn't buy a single share from these crooks EVER again!
I'm not surprised where this stock is sitting or where it's headed. I attempted to explain what this was all about and was removed. I tried exposing the truth and was locked away because of it. Now it looks like there are only a handful of what I like to call "*holders" left here while the smart investors took profits and ran for the hills with their pockets full of cash. Why aren't they posting here anymore? Hate to say it but I called this one.
To the PLM board. I quit the Mod job and I also quit my subsription to Ihub. Too much fraud on these boards and I'm done wasting my time being part of it. (being a member)
Polymet is one of the exceptions, Ihub can't touch PLM. I'm buying more today!
It all started on the PURO board. Paid Pumpers being Mods, Paid pumpers sending me PM's bribing me to post more, offering me commissions etc. It's all just dirty and I don't want to be part of the mess.
I posted them several times, they are PM's and being in jail I can't PM. I would be glad to send them to you. I just noticed how it just continues. Now that they're done with PURO they moved over to some china cement company, "CRJI" , I see "she" is now a moderator there too? I find it fascinating that Ihub would allow Paid pumpers to be moderators! LOL
I cancelled my subscription here, I'll let it run out. Might show up once in a while as a freebie to see how the scam progresses but I'm sure in hell not paying them a dime more. I also contacted my CC company to start an investigation. I asked for a refund for the remaining months since I can't use the service anymore. Ihub said no, they're setting themselves up if you ask me.
I have to agree with you. I have already contacted a list of agencies to report the fraud and investor abuse that goes on. I have acutal documents from paid pumpers trying to give me a commission on their pump and dump scheme over at PURO. It pumped, and now it dumped right on schedule. The "promotion" is over and gone, along with the paid pumpers! Scams, lies, cheats. That's not all, on of the paid pumpers from wallstreet bulls is also the moderator on the PURO board and she deleted any posts that are not positive. Go figure.
PURO, the pumpers have left the building, the promo is over leaving the bagholders, sad.
Concering the PURO situation, pumped and dumped right on schedule. Thanks puro pumpers, you made the case.
I don't want out of jail. I don't even want to be a part of Ihub anymore. I want my money back, now. I wonder if Nightline would be interested in the story of how folks are being cheated out of their hard earned cash here on Ihub. Admin. allowing paid pumpers (wallstreet bulls) to become moderators, biased, fraud, theft and BRIBES!!!!!! All makes a great headline!
Did I mention I have pm's and posts proving all of it?
Still waiting for my credit. I'll give it until close of business tomorrow before I start making the calls.
It's a basic RO system, they're a dime a dozen. The UltraSafe units are sold through network marketing. IF you want to pay from $150.00 to $300.00 more through them be my guest! You can pick up the same exact thing at Home Depot for a lot less.
Actually stevo I didn't snooze, made a nice trade for 25% on Monday, picked up a little last Friday. won't touch it again until the next big you know what! lol Did you get some? Hope you didn't hold it, but whatever, good luck!
LOL.... The sunshine has turned to partly cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms! It's right back where it started. Smart traders took their profit, it's so obvious!
