Well our Charlie might have something to say about that....{:>)))
Here is what I use with our 16 month old Weimaraner Charlie. The positive change in his bad behavior towards 1 of our male Whippets was immediate.

This is all about Eastern vs Western medicine. Eastern medicine has been around for thousands of years. herbs, roots, spices, oils. Healthy diets, Yoga, Meditation, Massage, Acupuncture, Exercise, etc.
Western medicine is : go to your doctor, get some pills, maybe a shot, maybe surgery, then maybe more pills to fill you body with more toxins. Now there are many times when Western medicine is a must in critical situations.
Animal owners have discovered treating many issues with pets using Eastern way has worked wonders over stress related issues, separation anxiety, fireworks, thunderstorms, fears from riding in vehicles etc. It cause a total 360 positive change in our Charlie.

Any word if the people are coming back to get her ? If not, you need a cat back in your life Flo. Look at all the fun you are having... {:>))
LOL, I know I have been slacking... I seem to have found myself in the midsts of a start up company. It's called Pet Diffuser Pendants. It is about aromatherapy for animals, and because of Charlie, this is how it began.....
Charlie was a back yard Craigs list puppy that I drove 7 hrs each way to get.
Born at the end of March 2013, Charlie spent his whole young life in a back yard, weighed only 12 lbs at the age of 12 weeks old. A typical Weimaraner puppy at that age should have been closer to 20 lbs. When I asked to see Charlie mom, it was a horrific site. Charlie mom was extremely underweight, every aspect of her skeletal system was visible, every single aspect, ( I did call the Toledo ASPCA, but that is another story, they pretty much did nothing ) Then I found out the owners were feeding all the pup's, mom included one of those off, no name brands of dog food that costs 5.99 for a 50 lbs bag, pure crap food. After seeing Charlies mom, I pretty much grabbed Charlie and ran to my SUV to get him away from that hell hole of a home. Charlie had many sores on his body and they were from flies biting him. So in a sense I did not buy a puppy, I rescued one.
For the first week in our home I never saw Charlie wag that little stubby tail. Charlie had never been on the inside of a home before, strange noises like sounds from a TV scared him to death. Charlie was extremely food aggressive, and still is to a degree. Charlie was a bit overwhelmed with our other 5 dogs, 3 Whippets and 2 Italians Greyhounds. However the 3 Whippets wanted little to do with having a new puppy in the home, except our oldest male Whippet Chance. Charlie would always play with Chance, but as time went on Charlie really started forcing the play with Chance and Charlie the Weimi pup had NO OFF Button. I would separated them to give Chance the Whippet a break. I could always hear it in Chance's voice, his whining playful high pitch would start getting louder as they were playing. That was my signal, " hey dad, get this puppy Charlie away from me now, he won't leave me alone " Charlie at this point was a big puppy, larger than Chance.
Well one day a few month back it happened. I got to the room they were in just a few seconds too late, and the fight broke out. Chance the Whippet, who is my #1 Buddy, my Heart, had a puncture wound on the top of his neck and another on his rib cage. I use to work ER as a Tech, so I have the working knowledge of deciding if something is warranted on needing to see a Vet. I have a little Mini ER right here at home.
Long story short. That is when I came across Young Living Essential Oils, aromatherapy oils and a Diffuser for Charlie, with Peace & Calming used in it. Well the change was immediate. Charlie would normally try to get Chance to play with him at least 6 times a day, now I have seen this forced type of play happen maybe 3 times in the first month, and now into the second month, I don't see Charlie pushing Chances buttons anymore, not at all.
The playing between Chance and Charlie was fun for Chance, until Charlie became bigger than him. Without the Diffuser I could have used Peace & Calming directly on Charlie, but the aroma would not last as long being exposed to so much space and volume of air, plus I think the aroma would have been a bit overwhelming for a dogs great sense of smell.
The Diffuser allows the aroma to come out in a much more controlled space and last for quite some time. I reload Charlie Diffuser about once every 5 day's or so, just 2 drops to it's Cotton wick. Charlie our Weimaraner was well on his way to wanting to become the Alpha of our home, but the problem is, we already have 2 Alpha dogs. Jayda and Little Max both age 7, both Italian Greyhound, both about 15 lbs, but don't tell Little Max that. Max suffers from BDS, " Big Dog Syndrome " Max thinks he is a 150 Mastiff, and that is No Joke .. HA ! ....... and Jayda our female Italian, she is the ultimate Ruler of the home, hands down, and Charlie has always' respected that.
Now in all honesty, the thought of re-homing our Weimi Charlie had crossed my mind several times, as I could not allow Charlie to throw fear and panic into our already extremely well established pack of 5 others, all adult dog's because of Charlie's strong male dominant traits that were coming out of him.
Charlie was neutered at the age of 1 yr old, so that's about 4 month ago, and that procedure, so far, has not taken 1 drop of gas out of his tank. Because of Charlie strong male dominant traits, this year we have not gone back to the doggie park. Charlie normally goes whither all the way up on his back when he sees another dog he does not know. Maybe I am now a part of that problem and Charlie scenes my fear of a possible fight, and feed off of my negative energy ? Charlie is work in progress, and for the most part is an extremely intelligent Weimi, as the breed is so very well know for. Charlie is totally focused on me which is fantastic for training purposes. Charlie is work in progress, and I pray we will get threw these bumps in the road as time goes on.
The creator of this product just does this for a hobby, works a full time job as a CNC machinist for the same company for almost 30 yrs, but now he see just how this is really taking off. I have had vendors ( retail businesses ) from Australia, S Africa, New Zealand showing interest in selling this product. Right now I am only selling at the retail level. Many business owners around the US have asked me if I Drop Ship, not yet. No Web site yet as we are not prepared to have hundreds of orders com in a week. So I am just selling threw contacting me threw Petdiffusers@yahoo.com.
I just started getting interest in people wanting to buy the Pet Diffuesr for their local shelters, as these aromatherapy oils really do work on anxiety and overall stress. A woman yesterday told me she has been using Peace & Calming on her horses for years.

**** All prices are in US Dollars ****
Color choices are: Blue, Green, Purple, Pink and now added is White. These colors are the main base of the color of each Pet Diffuser Pendant. Each and every Pet Diffuser Pendant looks like the grains in wood, they all have a swirl of a different color in them, so no 2 are exactly the same.
Many people have turned to YL for their Aromatherapy Oils for their pets with Great Success in managing fear, anger management or dominance issues with their cats or dogs.
With The Pet Diffuser Pendants, the Aromatherapy stays with your pet 24/7 with the oil you find works the "best" for them. For pets that are scared of being left alone ( Separation Anxiety ), thunderstorms, etc, instead of one needing to use a Room Diffuser, and get the room Diffused quickly because a storm is coming, your pet can have its Pendant always on its collar, always' receiving Aromatherapy 24/7.
Inside The Pet Diffuser Pendants is a Cotton wick. Start slow, 1 maybe 2 drops of YL oil of your choice directly on the wick, then place it in your Pet Diffuser, and fasted securely. Adding more oil to your Diffuser can be done about every 5 days. You don't need to change wicks when adding more oil, but DO change wicks if you are switching to a different type of Young Living Essential Oil.
Because Pet Diffuser Pendants have holes in them to slowly allow your Aromatherapy to your pet, dust and dirt WILL get inside over time. It's simple, if it looks dirty, just place in a new wick. I include 6 wicks with each order. Need more wicks, just let me know. Ordering them online is expensive as far as shipping goes, I order them in bulk, and I can get you more at a much better price, or upon request I can give you a Web site to purchase the Cotton wicks on your own, your choice.
Our 15 month old Weimaraner Charlie has been wearing his Pet Diffuser for 2 months now and I have changed his wick only 3 times. Parts of our fenced in yard has no grass, dry dirt, so that is why his gets dirtier a bit more often.
The Pet Diffuser Pendants are extremely durable, they are not fragile in any way at all. The body is made of Acrylic and all the other parts are metal.
To clean your Pet Diffuser: just take a Q-tip, with a little water and dish soap of your choice to swab out the inside, then just rinse it under your faucet, then shake it to get excess water out, keep it unscrewed to allow your diffuser to dry out completely for 1 hour.
If you decide on a Diffuser, just let me know you size and color choice and I will then email you a Paypal invoice for your purchase.
Our company is brand new, and we only produce 25 or so Diffusers a week. We do not have a Web site yet, as we are not prepared to get hundreds of possible orders coming in a week, but we are working on changing our production, then we will created a Web site.
I was going to post a Pic of them, but I forgot how to do that on IHUB.. all these stupid steps you have to go threw... ERrrrrr
So how are you doing Flo ? How is the Kitty ?
Wow those look pretty big..
Pop & Drop... HA !
The daughter has been on the Orphan Kanine FB site, asking for letters of support be emailed to her by June 20th, to turn over to the District Attorney. Now I'm sure her mom is a great person, and really loves animals, but she got in way over her head, and never asked for help. This is a case of animal Hoarding that went terribly wrong. I was telling her daughter via email. Facts are facts. The ammonia levels in the building were so high that the Fire Dept had to call in the Hazmat Team to go in, wearing full body gear, and respirators. In which the daughter thinks it really was not that bad, but the Fire Dept documented the Ammonia levels at teh front door, then 10 feet in, than in the actual kennel area. From the front door going in, the levels kept going up and up. Those animals were living in a gas chamber. Again the daughter is fully aware of all the facts I stated above, but is in complete denial over just how bad it really was, and of course she is defending her mom.
In our city just a few weeks ago Gmenfan. I have been communicating with the owner of Orphaned Kanine's daughter via email. The daughter is completely defending her mom, and telling me I should not believe what the news reports. Well, State Records don't lie. It's just sad to now hear the State of Wisconsin dropped the ball, and this place should have been shut down 2 yrs ago.

Your large Cap Spam post all over IHUB. One might be better off selling second hand junk at a store, instead of playing the OTC...
Looks like the front loaders are here. Could make GRDO interesting.. {:>))
Gosh, if you are adding COPD to the mix with Pneumonia, that a lethal combo. You need to get your ass right to a hospital Mister..
Here is an interesting Vid that mention Kennel Cough. Someone on my FB asked me if dogs have tonsils. I said I would think so, so then they posted this vid.
Should have called your daughter and asked about taking Pen VK for a possible Pneumonia. I think she would have said, Yikes No Dad, No.
OMG so you were treating yourself. Now I get it, because I have never heard of Pen VK being used for Pneumonia.
About time... I would even ban the toys made there. When a dog is playing with a rope toy or any kind of fabric toy. How does one know just what chemicals are in the fabrics to color them, and dogs are sucking on them constantly.
Here are a couple of Vids I just put up of Charlie.
Pen VK for Pneumonia, really. Azithromycin works just fine for small Pneumonia's, the next step up for humans that I have seen used the most is IV Levaquin, but at that point, one would have a bad Pneumonia, and is admitted to the hospital.
Yes, Azithromycin is something I have had in the past a few times with our dogs. I prefer the liquid form, just easier to give.
Charlie is quite the handful Jen. Like a 1 yr old horse running threw the home, and what a Huge personality he has, but that's a Weimi thing. All the rest are doing well... Jayda our 7 yr old Alpha Italian, I know at times she wants me to buy Charlie a 1 way bus ticket. Normally after 3 or 4 PM everyday, Jayda looses all patience for Charlie.... Like right now for example. Jayda was just a total grouch this morning anytime Charlie came near her. So here I am in my computer room with both of the Italians, door shut to keep Charlie out... Oh Lord, now the barking has started. Yesterday it was the evil man across the street cutting his grass, and Charlie was not having it...LOL....Well one thing is for sure. No one will ever break into this home, without setting off some major alarms..... {:>))
I really gave up on the gardening a few yrs back. I eliminated areas. It's just too much. Plus I have a neighbor directly to the east of us, he never puts down weed killer on his lawn, so over the years my garden beds became infested with dandelions, it's an endless battle. Oh and their Cottonwood Tree, once that thing starts snowing cotton balls, hundreds and hundreds of trees will start popping up. They grow very fast. I am looking at 1 out my window right now that I missed pulling up from last summer, it's probably close to 7 foot high. Soon it will start snowing again, and that lasts for 3-4 days, and with my luck, the wind is almost every year coming out of the east, so we get the full Blizzard affect... ERrrrrr
I keep a bottle of Penicillin in the fridge. Chance our 6 yr old Whippet, a few weeks ago I awoke to him next to me in bed at 3 am, which is where he always sleeps. His breathing was not normal, it was too rapid. When I went to touch his face, it was warm, then I went to touch his lower belly down by the groin, it was on fire. Took his temp and it was 105. I gave him 4 baby aspirin. Then I started to look for the source of infection, an infected cut can be a likely cause. I found that he had a wound on his foot that was badly infected, yet I never noticed him licking it. Cleaned the wound aggressively to get rid of the necrotic tissue, wrapped it just for that night, gave him a 4ml injection of Penicillin for 2 days in a row. The aspirin took his fever down within 30 min's, but I made him sleep in the living room for several days after that, as his fever came back for about 3 day's and spiked at night, as it does with people, then I treated it with aspirin again, being under the covers of my bed only will increase the body temp. Normally if any of our dog's get a wound from whatever source, it's almost a guarantee that it will get infected and I always will give Penicillin for 2 to 3 days in a row, except for our Italian Greyhounds, I hold off on the Penicillin, as their body's seem to adversely react to so many different Med's. The Rabies shot is a big concern for me with the Italians, as so many can have bad, even lethal reactions. I also do my Distemper every 3 yrs now, yearly shots are over medicating, over rated, but the Vet's won't tell this, even though they all got the Memo some years back... These Vaccinations can be most harmful to the small breeds of dogs in particular.
From my past experience Jen, Kennel Cough is a dog's version of the human cold. Being viral in nature it normally has to run it's course. However as with humans, the very young and old can have adverse affects of something that is normally simple for the body to handle, Pneumonia being the worse end of it.
Jayda, our oldest Italian Greyhound had it when we go her as a puppy. She came from a puppy store. Jayda was about 25% underweight, did not want to eat much. After a few weeks of the Vet trying this and that to treat her, I suggested putting her on Azithromycin, as my biggest concern was for it to go from an Upper Resp infection, to a lower Resp infection, which could have easily lead to Pneumonia. It seems the Azithromycin did the trick. We also had Jacki and a few other dogs here at that time, but none of them caught it.
If you are going to give anything on your own, just make sure it has NO Tylenol in it. Tylenol is Lethal to dogs.
This could also be seasonal allergies they are suffering from, it is that time of year for running noses, itch watery eyes and sneezing, and reverse coughing that dogs do, which could very well be confused for Kennel Cough.
Happy belated Birthday Jen... {:>))
Hi Gail. I did see that. It was all over FB yesterday, and on our local news. Pretty amazing.
Personally I would wait, as I am going to do. Been in and out of TTDZ twice. If you buy under the current symbol you will not be able to sell once the change happens. Your shares have to clear threw the DTC and be transferred back to your Broker. Just spoke with TDA to clarify this. They said it will take " at least " 5 business day's for the transfer to happen. So your value could go up 1000% and you can't sell, if you bought under the TTDZ symbol. I was in that position once before, and it won't happen again. Now if you buy under the new symbol. Nothing will change. You can buy and sell that same day if you choose.
So very sorry to hear this Gmenfan. 14 is a long life, and I know Walker had a Great one with you and your wife. They all have their own unique personality that will be missed.
This is just a riot. 2 very talented guys from Norway pull some funny pranks on people on an elevator. I am not a comedy type of person at all, but I watched the whole thing because it was just that good.
Thats just sad. A lot of Bad Cops out there.
Dog vs Cat.
I had seen in on FB before. I think I just typed in " dog pulling blanket over self " in the task bar of You tube, and it popped right up...
In the mid 90's I moved to a friends 2 family flat. Was selling my home, and to rent in our area with a dog is just about impossible. Well the owner of this home did not have an issue. My dog Blue, Cattle dog, extremely smart, had never been face to face with a cat before. They had no issues. However, I am extremely allergic to cats. If I touch them, i have to remember to wash my hands, or my eyes will blow up. Anyways' it seems that cat's know this, as they alwasys' come right to me. This cat would come sleep with me at night. It liked to be right above my pillow or next to my face. It was a female so it did not bother me by entering my room. Now if a male cat entered my space, in any room, without touching it, within 5 min's the sneezing begins, itchy watery eyes etc. The cat was really cool. I like her. She like to knead my back with her paws at night. It felt so relaxing, a soft massage...
So does this now happen to you Flo ?
Here is the dog covering himself...
I recall Andy. I was on a Cruise with my family. I think we were in Venezuela, it was right around Christmas 1972.. Keep safe... pay attention to the animals, they feel these events before we do...
Okay I see it now. Awesome.
