Thank you for your response. Interesting being here for a certain percentage of my life. I am sitting on my position. Not real crazy about current happenings. Then again why worry about something I can't control. Looking for a rebound some day.
Zzeynoc, if I read your posts correctly; there is a strong suspicion on your part that something is going on in the back room at IMSC currently? Not attempting to put words in your mouth just trying to make some sense out of current goings on ( or not) disgusted is a fairly apt description of my emotions concerning this. Been here along time- dead money accept when we hit 1.80- sure as s..t a lot of mobsters in the flipping game. Morphs unsubstantiated protest, the legal fishermen. Then whoever or whatever the forces that direct it currently are unseen yet felt like ice on a sore tooth.
I have heard of public companies going private. Is that a possibility here? I can make no sense out of the current SP action. This will be another day that I am thinking wow. I must be a rube thinking that a company with essentially the entire sector locked up with their technology and the SP literally craters! Orchestrated event taking place currently? WOW day crud
No way to put a positive spin on this. It is sad to see what is taking place to my investment (crap shoot) almost seems deliberate on the part of management. wow I am underwhelmed. As in.....yeah it is discouraging to say the least. Damn damn damn! I am literally feeling like I've been fleeced. Time for a vacation maybe when I come back this nightmare will be over.
400 units per month? I have no problem with that as in zero. Refinancing- costs a bunch to refi. I wish they did not have the debt- thanks to a phony protest and a couple of legal sharks we have this debt. Might be a new idea to some of us but growing their way out of debt used to be a acceptable business model. I don't blame management for holding them close to the vest. They were right. If it was a dollar shareholders would want a buck fifty. I do like 400 units a month X $38,000 per copy. That is a piece of news that I have really been wondering about sounds like it is doable too me.
Something that is never mentioned on this board is the desire of many to trade it and get "free" shares. I made an investment to date it has been an under performer. Perhaps it always will be. I do not know what tomorrow holds. I do know that this holds promise, I am not a trader I am a long term investor looking for significant growth/gains here. Given the production numbers stated in the CC IMSC is currently under valued. Overall the CC is good with me- if I want to feel good maybe a trip to Disneyland would work better. To much complaining and whining going on by armchair quarterbacks. IMSC has gone from having nothing to essentially owning the ETD sector. From here on we should see SP appreciation. Good luck all of you super knowledgable types. Under promise over deliver 400 per month. That will work for me, heck they might even punch out more than 400!
Not sure I agree with you on that point. Currently IMSC has never really made any money. Spent a bunch developing the product (likely will spend a bunch more for non contact nexgen) once we see some large inflows of cash the game changes for all the players. I am neutral on management and cheerleading. As the old saying goes,"show me the money" that is the only thing that will take us to newer highs.
If I have a regret it is that I have been here for five years and anybody that shows up today can buy in in the range of my original position. Still should be a good story- it just isn't oh well time will tell us if we can eclipse 1.80 someday in the not so distant future. I will ad one thought if I was holding a large discounted position I ( and I am sure many others) would be taking whatever I could off the table. Realistically these eight centers and whatever other little discounted SP deals that have been floated need to be on the colander to be retired/compensated. How they accomplish that is with earnings thus my thesis, Show me the money!
Shiloh12, how do you spell DMJR? I think it has dump on the uptic. The guy with the little bag must have been on vacation for a couple of days. Good numbers will push it into newer highs (of olden times!)
OK I am with you guys!
For some reason I am reminded of a scene in the movie, Brother where art thou, after the escapees board the train and their subsequent expulsion from the train, the three convicts stand there chained together. The two alphas are going to have it out on the spot as to who will be the leader of the threesome. First one claims leadership then the other states his supremacy. The two then look to the third con to see which one he will align with and thus settle the boss aspect of there fellowship. The third fellow fumbles for a moment before spouting out his honest tie breaker.OK, he says, I am with you fellas. No resolution sort of like what takes place here daily. Nobody is exactly wrong -right is hard to judge precisely. Along about the first week of September the frosty sob should begin moving off this stagnant range we have been foundering in. Meanwhile, I am with you fellas, your all right not that it matters, we are tied together by our ownership and belief in this little equity.
We have been selling to China and India for years already
Vintage, is my math accurate? IMSC is currently exercising a 100% saturation of USA ETD sector and 84% European ETD sector- that would be 92.5% of the global market? I am wondering what the missing 7.5% consists of? Perhaps. Maintaince on legacy machines? All in all for a start up iIMSCis sailing out with an outstanding new technology that is so outstanding that the company in the space of 7 months apparently owns the entire global sector. I think the statement," I rest my case" is apt today. Congratulations to all that have been hanging here for so long. Share price might go up and down some still there must be some recognition for those that saw this as the future some years ago. Nice associating with all of you winner types.KC
Don't be a hater!!
What are you talking about? SP is up seems to be heading in the correct direction too me. This has been a very good investment for myself. I have managed to stay above water. Suddenly I am in good shape again. You fellas that are continually complaining. Your the one that bought when you did. Gets a little long in the tooth continually allowing your embarrassment as to your investing skills show in your posting. Grow a pair its you not the company or the BOD.
Thanks for the report. I have googled looking for any news and found none. No surprises for me. Gltal
Ah that would be my reason for a personal report from a poster here. I am past guessing hypothesis and postulations. I will be making plans on attending the next shareholders meeting. Who knows A guy might even get an imsc coffee cup.
Just dawned on me that we have nobody from the board at the shareholders meeting. Crap I am interested in what has been said , who said it and the tone of their voice. Sheesh what the hey hum?
Say come on handheld!!! IMSC might be the only one left standing in ETD. Then there all of e "other" assorted markets/sectors looking for high rate identification sorting. Personally I hope we do not find ourselves on the block. This particular technology has an almost unlimited horizon as regard uses. I am a long term holder here. We are completely undervalued at this moment in time. Anybody looking for an investment w a an ROI should think seriously about taking a position. Jmo
Looks to me like we are going to have a knock your socks off and maybe even outta the park Shareholder meeting. I am happy to see imsc and the SP driving directly away from the cliff we were experiencing. If I am honest (NOT) then we stick at least a 1 in front of the decimal point. OK OK it's just my own thought with no basis other than we have been there already. Should not take much to punch it back into the outfield. Oh yeah I own it and I am long getting pinochioed and digging it. AIMLTHO!
I have a question for those of you that follow this closer than myself. As the company has rolled out the B220 I have seen numbers of the percent of the market that IMSC will be able to own. Seemed that Europe was 40% etc. am I missing anything in my DD? From the little research I have done lately IMSC is currently making a sweep of the entire ETD sector. Like there is nobody that is even close. Is my thinking out of line? Thanks KC
Have you ever owned a startup bio tech? IMHO IMSC is no different- nano technology is not well understood. The edges have yet to be defined. Much of what transpired as far as expectation and Mr Bolduc had little to do with him or the company. The lawyer fishing expedition hurt us more than anybody wants to remember. Not once but twice. Then the protest through us under the bus ( lost the story) now we are booking orders though none of us knows what the darn things cost or sell for. Thus we find ourselves attempting or maybe jockeying for some assumed position of knowledge as to the goings on. When the company puts out its next 8 things might begin to make some sense. Meanwhile the words can be rather sharp between those of us that choose to post. Bolduc did the best he could- walked off with enough that he should be able to retire comfortably. The new management is riding on a good foundation sans the debt. The market being forward looking sees the debt and that is THE story. Answer? Deal with the incoming capital flows in a way that addresses the issue. It's not rocket science. Why would a manager that has watched his predecessor get tossed under the bus bother holding conversations with those same people? Something about doing the same thing and expecting different results. New guy is smart to tend to the business at hand. The rest of it will all come into alignment one way or the other soon. JMHO GL
I think the TSA didn't like it because it couldn't be swabbed. Seriously!
I am unsure. My thought is a baseball analogy, "on deck" batting clean up, we have the handheld. In my thinking the handheld has a bright future ahead of it. Regarding the post not enough info too say. I hope so!
This one mentioning the handheld 150 is a diamond in the rough. The handheld is a monster sector that will make imsc more than a one pony trick show. This is the first 'official' government sale I have seen. Monumental possibilities coming our way. If we can keep up at this rate by this time next year were debt free. Well maybe that is a bit optimistic but addressing the debt issue will certainly be an ability that management can address with the apparent stream of orders we find ourselves in.
Scooter time, thanks for sharing your research. Anybody think we pop through .80 tomorrow? Pretty good chance we begin our long awaited appreciation . Nice find, gltal
Novak, yes and no. Yes because if the snowman buys an equity the lemmings rush in. No because he buys companies and pretty much runs then through the wringer. Some he liquidates (Berkshire Hathaway mills for instance) others get leaned out to the max. Where we are currently we wouldlikely be a bad fit as far as U.S. And share price appreciation. IMHO which is worth exactly what was paid for it. I am pretty comfortable with what I am seeing these days. I hope we have shipped some decent number of sniffers and we have million dollar receipts booked. We will find out shortly. Go implant
Pat, it is hard for me to believe I have been invested in this that long. Long story but overall I am ahead of the curve here. Couple of other investments that I have I wish were still in the money! Held up today it would appear the selling by whomever is on hold for a period of time. I voted yes w board recommendations. Does not make any sense to me to be invested in a company that I don't back management. I like all of the sales- phoniex Suns report of the Sniffer in use in Mexico City made my day! Earnings should be barn burner material. Thanks for your analyses options at 100% higher exercise price I can embrace that.
I was remembering the continual drivel that was being posted about Mr Glen Bolduc former CEO of IMSC something about the stock price will rise to 1.88 three days after Mr Bolduc is gone. Like that happened. Nonstop blathering drivel gets posted here at times. It is pretty obvious who has a stake and who is lonely stuck at the terminal by themselves. Pretty good move with this past week.
It has been a good week for IMSC and its investors. Could have should have bonk! Yesterday we saw what will happen when and if the company announces numbers shipped and we begin to see installation at airport security check points. How much yesterday saw a rounded off half million shares trade hands. Today like 5% of that. The current machines where they are way ahead of the curve will be antiques soon enough. So lumpy as a descriptive term leads one to believe there is an end to sales. Once non contact comes online- remember TSA gave us a 2 million dollar grant to develop it? Seems like a portal/ pass through is next. At that point in time all bets are off on market saturation. Post offices, ups shippers will all buy and install units I large numbers. IMSC is on track to become a mega player. I hope we refi then stay the coarse. Have a great weekend heading out to my nieces graduation suns out and from where I sit the future is so bright I have to wear shades??
I agree with what you say. Though not all of it is company/management related. We were sitting at 1.80 and it would appear headed higher when the snarky law firm fished us for maybe some mismanagement. Dipped down that day. Got it stabilized and s/m hit us with the protest another take down with no merit. Then here come the lawyers again still nothing has changed at IMSC ha. Totally gangland hits that destroyed shareholder value that had zero to do with the company other than our market size and OTC exchange (shady exchange) I don't think a piece by Uri today would be much of a splash the story has changed. It is nice to see an order flow coming through these days that and delivery will drive it higher. I am hopeful that we get off the OTC that is a problem that I find. To be detestable. Like living in a Cuban ghettowith two guys that are the same person mowing a single lawn and buying gas a thimbleful at a pop.
Right on! It is not the debt so much as the profitability ( or should I say lack of profitability) I can hardly wait to see what has been shipped coming up. 200 or 300 units and we are on our way. We will see the fence sitters jump in and we will attract new blood like we are the Red Cross.
As far as the long term picture of what happens when the ETD market is fully flushed out- hum I can think of some applications where a sniffer that can identify various articles and no clear down time as pretty much universal in any clear through system. That is out there aways currently it is just to execute on the ETD sector. The ability that we have is somewhat endless weather it is licensed or what is later. The platform can be adapted to many uses potential is enormous I will leave as that is my own opinion.
Welcome, woodman Brown!
B9 I am surprised that you have not posted an opinion on the vote. Last time it was "if you want them to have capital then..."
Nothing wrong with having an opinion and posting it, we were all instructed in the art of discussion. Might be a good time to check out what a civil discussion consists of myself included. Ultimately nothing posters on a message board say matters a bunch. You might get a jump on the news but overall we all want to make money. Good luck on that too all that are reading here.
I like the free part. MSNBC is probably attempting to get McGann to come visit as we speak. Sales push this. Econ 101 demand pull the ONLY thing that will change the current debt issue is sales and delivery. All the branding a story telling - you can fool some of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. Once deliveries begin I would imagine they will have more than one source for refi
Once again I am in complete and total agreement with you. It is so simple that it absolutely evaded me. Buy a couple of million share 2 or 3 at a pop each share would cost somewhere in the area of 5.50.. Until reading the post I was thinking that the lawnmower dude was a moron (I still do) but with clarification I can now see that it pencils out on paper.
Personally, I think IMSC has a technology that the B220 is just scratching the initial surface of. This type of nano recognition has applications that are unending. Our initial foray into the market is showing the technology to be so far advanced that we have what amounts to a monopoly. Beginning with the TSA acceptance of the B 220. I am w Zeynoc that we are ridiculously undervalued. Yesterday's voting discussion showed quite a few unhappy ( thus weak hands). I do not care about marketing so much. Envelope math says we would be paying 3-4 people say an aggregate of $250,000. Toss in travel, marketing material etc for another $200,000 to $300,000 and we have spent half a million dollars "branding" the company. My idea of branding is what is beginning to occur for free- total dominance of the sector IMSC occupies.. ETD today we own it the technology that is driving this has broad applications outside of the current focus of ETD. I look forward to a long and prosperous investment here.
I own shares and I am long
Good point Reno! It is very obvious that the board is buying shares today. Probably 2 or 3 at a time. I am sure they want to push the SP.
It is a big world out there. Private why? I would feel short changed. We had taken off when it hit 1.84 . I have never been a huge trader in retrospect I would have done myself a favor to have lightened it up a touch as we began to fall. I am still above water here. I would also mention that I would rather the company sell into the float and pay off Platinum as to continue to pay what amounts to an interest only loan. Ultimately it is all a shot in the dark. It takes a certain type of person to invest in OTC. Have to have an appetite for risk- it can payoff- if the horse will run that is. I am thinking that we have one that will at least trot. I am not looking to badger anybody just that I would fairly express my viewpoint. Lot of us have been here a longish time. That is pretty old then some that bought it higher and are expecting more out of it. Kind of like of I scream louder it will take off. It will unsure about the when. There is an almost unlimited market for what IMSC has brought online. I look forward to being apart of that rollout going forward.
Shilo, it is binary either it is or it is not. You can not have it both ways- either your in or your out. I personally have to question the bod arrogance? We had two lawyer fishing expeditions (investigations w no merit) the protest that was six months of delays and released with the caveat that the protest was a joke. Those three items is what has increased the share count and dropped the SP. None of that has much to do with management or the bod. Mr Bolduc would chat with shareholders McGann says he has other things to do, my vote is for the man to go to work on moving product booking revenue and becoming profitable. Becoming profitable is the bottom line in my thinking- is that a possibility? I think it is thus I am voting it that way. If I felt any other way I would sell it and move on there are other good looking equities for sale. I happen to think that what we all see and talk about here is small. IMSCs technology can become a billion dollar empire along the line of Apple, Microsoft, etc. We sit on the edge of the future I am not listening to the babble of the emotionally attracted simply listening to my own thoughts. Those thoughts say we are about to rock and roll. I am in it and will back those spending and producing. My vote is Yes
Probably better to spend my time bantering with investors that buy more than two or three shares at a pop. Those type of investments cost 4 to 5 bucks a share so we have much different event horizons.
One other thought about a yes/no vote. I would like to see the old options excrcised at 1.40? A no vote allows those options to be voided and a new package put in place. Am I reading this correctly B9?
Voted mine yes. I figure they would not ask for them if they did not need the capital. Also if you do not trust management and vote no.".....seems kind of moronic to be invested in this one? This company is much like a bio tech start up, extraordinary costs associated with development and approval. This is after all a nano tech we have the product, we have the sales and we are shipping products. If by November of this year (5 months) we have shipped out 65 million dollars in product- I am sure the share price will have increased more than modestly.
I feel that some who post here are really not "investors" in the sense of putting capital to work- in my thinking if the company makes some good ,moves some might retire on it. JMHO
In my experience with Federal Contracts all items of the contract completed on or by the twentieth of the month were submitted for payment. All payments were made once per month on the tenth. That was DOT unsure what DHS looks like but I am sure that something similar is in place there as well. They will manage to muck it up with some additional charges which will leave us continuing to guess at a price per unit.
The guessing game does make for some of the more interesting discussions on this board.
