Took a look at the takeanyware website. Good articles on the Black Box products. Apparently, COSTCO is already carrying them.
I seem to remember a mention of international sales. We're just beginning to see the tip of the iceberg! Is the train leaving the station yet?
It's leaving the station!
I use the eco-i-lites all the time. I've got them in the kitchen and use them often as flashlights, etc. They're great!
I'm wondering how much of the expenses from development of new products will disappear this year. My thought is that now they're in the "automatic mode" with regard to manufacturing. Now they will focus on further marketing and penetration into new markets. I'm kind of excited to see what happens. Looking for less expenses and more revenue this year and reducing that accumulated deficit.
Just got back from Sam's club here in Denver (Stapleton Branch)--I had reported last Tuesday that I would check on status of sales there of the Eco-I-Lite. Looks like they started with 36 boxes, each containing 6 packages of 2 lites for a total of 216 units or 432 eco-i-lites. In the week since I was last at Sam's, approximately 1/2 of the boxes are gone, ie, looks like 1/2 of the pallet has been sold. Wonder how many Sam's carry the lites and how big the initial order was. Not Bad!
Hoping for some good 4th Qtr numbers and a good word about the current year. I think so!
Just purchased the 2-pack eco-i-lite at Sam's here in Denver. $24.99. Very "slick" packaging. On a pallet, advertised as "power failure light." Right on the main aisle! Very visible! I'll track and see how they sell. They look great!
Samsclub.com. They show the eco-i-lite for sale.
I seem to remember that they were going to "fold" it into one of the existing subsidiaries of the company at some point. John
Thanks much for the information. This clears it up for me. Appreciate it!
Is Black Box still part of CHDO? Anyone know? Not including info about CHDO on press releases is making folks nervous.
Wonder how many of the pocket safes they're selling this quarter? I bet a bunch as well as their other products. I think we're going to look back and won't believe where this is trading right now. I'm looking for a great 4th quarter and then beyond. Good Luck and Happy Holidays! John H.
I wonder if we will see an announcement concerning sales being "on track" etc, before the end of the quarter, sort of in the interest of "cover your a**" for the company. Sometimes, that's a legal recommendation to companies to let folks know good as well as bad things going on.
Talk about a "ramp-up." Investor community loves to see that!
Could they do 4 mil in revs this qtr?
That's with another month left in the 3rd qtr and not to mention inventory buildup for Xmas sales!
Can we get an idea of how many of the pocket safes have been sold by the sequential numbering from orders?
Any guesses for revenues 3rd qtr? I have a feeling they could be huge compared to 2nd!
2nd Qtr Revenues / Profit?? Any thoughts on what the 2nd Qtr revenues might be and whether they might show a profit?
Any thoughts on what kind of market is out there for the personal pocket safe? I'm thinking it is huge, especially with this one with the encryption device, etc.
Just went over to Checker Auto Parts here in Denver to get some oil for my daughter's car. New store in the neighborhood--I asked the girl about the STP tools. She was familiar with them, and she said that they would be getting some in stock soon. She had one of the lithium battery screwdrivers in the store. It was on sale for $29.99. Great packaging. Good to see!
The market always looks ahead right? Could this be the beginning? Maybe that's why the price hasn't gone down. I would think we might see some "bottom-feeders." My bet is that next quarter and ongoing ones are going to be a lot better than this one. These numbers were already reflected in the stock price. JMHO.
I'll give it a try. Thanks!
Thanks very much, RVD, kind of what I thought. Hopefully, we'll get lots more activity in CHDT, and it will be too fast to check Level II anyway!
Anyone know how to access Level II on IHUB? The format has changed. Thanks much!
Everything is coming together nicely. All the pieces are going to fit together, pretty quickly. This is truly a buying opportunity IMHO. We are going to be looking back, shaking our heads, and wondering why folks didn't see what is happening. I'm thrilled to be in this little deal! I think we're going to do very well, in a very short time. I've seen companies like this before in a classic turnaround mode. We'll start seeing numerous "good news" announcements soon, and then watch the buyers swarm in!
Just a couple of thoughts--to get a 5 year exclusive on the STP from clorox, I don't think the financing is going to be a problem, ie, this is huge! For a little company like chdo / capstone to get this from the huge Clorox corp, financing is already a given based on the efficacy of the products produced. And, it looks like they are being accepted into the market-place. With a phone call, Clorox can finance any start-up / continuation product financing as long as they are proven which it looks like they are. The "green battery" info is also impressive. I think we're going to be seeing more and more of this coming into play. The competitors' batteries are lithium, but I don't think they are "totally green." Lastly, do the math with the 3100 stores starting to carry Capstone products, we are going to see some massive sales, I think. IMHO.
Just have a good feeling that something is about to announced. It may not be until the new year, but it is going to be pretty substantial. I think we're going to all be really pleased that we hung in there through these tough times! Happy Holidays to all!
I'm also having trouble with Scottrade. I saw earlier they were doing some maintenance on the website. I thought maybe the weather might have something to do with it.
If sales are going well this 4th qtr which I think they are, I would be surprized if they don't make some sort of announcement indicating that. As I recall from a regulatory view, they would be well-advised to let the public know if that is the case to stave off any sort of shareholder dissatisfaction.
I'm new to the board, but I've been viewing it for a while. Small investor in CHDO. Have been in it since it was CBQI. I just went to the target.com website and saw their collection of personal reading lights. I'm pretty sure these are from capstone. They look good. Can anyone confirm if these are the ones. They range anywhere from $19.99 to $39.99. I think they're going to be very successful with these. We haven't seen anything yet. When the STP products hit the streets, a big ramp-up in revenue / profits, I think. Good luck to all!
