Capt...some people have said that I am bragging by announcing the shares I own. That wasn't my intention...nor is it my intention to sell any of them (my shares) for a while. As others could tell you...I tend to invest long term in things. You lose to much money trying to play a short trading game...especially with the market where it is at...and I want to see what else Wilf brings up on the Scipion that could be very valuable.
I will say that I am under 5% of the float but barely and have an average cost of $.017-$.018/share at this point. If you saw level 2 I was out with a large bid trying to pick up another million at $.013 today...I couldn't grab them so bought out the close at $.014 today...hope that helps.
-B
after reading Max's post...I believe mine is even closer to the truth...either way. I am happy with where my average is and I will sit back and wait to see what happens over the next year...
-B
Float Question....
That actually wasn't a bad question and I'll try to answer it to the best of my knowledge. First of all as you know there are 499 Million shares outstanding.
Second...The restricted shares were originally over half of that to prevent anyone else from taking over control of the company. I believe according to what I've read that Wilf and Family own most of the restricted shares still out there. Wilf is aware of this. The risk he takes with each additional sell is that if someone attempts a take over he then loses the company.
He doesn't want that to occur as he has loaned the company his own money and he hasn't taken a salary since the start. Unlike past businesses that he has participated in...his family not just him are heavily involved in the success of DPBM.
I personally don't think anyone else could run the company...but I also don't think that Wilf is going to take a chance at losing it either. I suspect he is watching closely and that is also the reason we won't see additional share hit the market...
When the stock ran up a short while ago to $.02 there were only a few small sellers until it hit over $.02/share. Hopefully that answers your questions....
-B
Ed they have put several good ideas on DPBM Blog...but you'll have to go there to find them...I don't have the time to cut and paste them...but they are working on keeping shareholders informed and allowing the flow of ideas...anyone see the information on the Queen Anne's Revenge project...pretty cool history and salvage going on there.
Be nice to see DPBM get some attention on the Scipion. I know that several sources of contacted Wilf...I think he will be sharing that info at the conference.

Anyone see this article on the front page of Yahoo Sunday night?
http://www.popularmechanics.com/outdoors/adventures/4230711.html
A fun site I ventured to over the weekend.
http://piratemasterwiki.cbs.com/page/Shipwrecks?t=anon
Have a great week all. One week until the investors conference in Florida. Should make for an interesting week.
-B
Nice close today on decent volume...Happy Thanksgiving everyone...
-B
Nice to have you back in JRF...even the "Small Investors"
make a difference...
LOL
-B
No different ship...
-B
FYI...Level 2 is showing a large buyer at the bid...looks like they are after a 1.5 Million block...
-B
LOL I know what you mean. Ugly red again today. Not worried myself. I'm mostly invested in small caps that aren't following the market now...They're already at the bottom...LMAO
Anyway I suspect I won't have to make it run again...I will probably be trying to figure out how to slow it down after the investors conference so we fill all the gaps.
At the investors meeting possible events...1)Purchase of the new boat, 2) Sale of the Deep Scan, 3) Announcement of a Reality show, 4) Pictures and video of the wreck site, 5) Timeline for possible share buyback...all positives going forward for DPBM.
...anyone out there do any research on the "Scipion"?
http://books.google.com/books?id=btEHAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA336&dq=french+ships+from+the+1782+scipion
I have quite a few links like this one. Good reading and research.
-B
Yeah I figured...I placed a bid @ $.014 and now it's showing correct...
-B
Anyone else see a 40% spread between the bid and ask...
Showing the bid @ $.0125 and the ask # $.02
-B
Deep Sea...I certainly agree with your Margin Call theory. I've seen very unusual selling in several small caps that I own and it's all around the 2nd to 3rd day after the stocks have broken the margin threshold.
Anyway...just my take. GL everyone and enjoy your Thanksgiving Holiday...
-B
Yes if I continue to add at this rate I will have to fill our a Form 4...I have a call in to see if it is 5% or 10%. I thought that it was 5% but recently was told by someone that it was 10% so I'm checking into that.
JRF any insight on that you can give me...by the way call me. I will relay the information we talked about to you...

Look on the I-hub site above and you will find this passage.
Comments:US War of Independence. 14 October 1782, HMS London (98-gun)together with HMS Torbay (under the command of Gidoin) and the sloop Badger (14-gun) chased two French warships, Scipion (74-gun)and Sibylle (40-gun) off San Domingo. When Scipion raked HMS London, a tiller rope was shot away, and London all but fell on board Torbay, which was firing on Scipion’s port quarter. This gave Scipion time to escape although she eventually struck a rock whilst anchoring in Samana Bay and sank.
The big question is why were the English ships lying in wait for the Scipion?
Where was the Scipion headed and why was it travelling with only one Frigate?
Why did the Scipion have so many soldiers aboard?
What was the manifest of the Scipion at the time?
Why did the French search for the Scipion for so many years?
These are the questions to speculate over and research. I think a lot of these answers will be coming out over the next few months as they recover the ship. According to other salvage operations I've researched the recovery could take several years to answer all of the questions...I look forward to seeing how it all turns out in the end...
Currently just over 21M shares...but that is just where I am at...as I've said before. No one should take my actions as a reason to buy or sell. Do your own DD...

I was impressed with the history of the Scipion...I have researched it for about a month on the internet and gotten more information out of Wilf in 2 hours.
It truly has a very interesting history...between the "War of Independence"...The blockades and then it dissapears for about 6 months...and reappears in PP. If you are a history buff you will understand...at the time that was one of France's largest colonies...where a lot of trade was done.
I was pleased with the company road map and will continue to add to my position at this time. The fact that WB wasn't interested in additional funding at this time...leads me to believe...my own conclusions...I'm simply reading between the lines on that...but the meeting was positive.
-B
I met with him as an analyst and asked him lots of questions...about two pages worth. I am not an insider and the information he gave me was public information...
That being said...you would have to know where to look to get it. A lot of history on the Scipion. Most of the info that we discussed will be at the shareholders meeting...and much more. For that purpose Wilf has asked me not to post it here or on DPBM Blog...
I'll simply state that according to my questions and his answers he definetly has a 5 year plan for the company.
-B
No that wasn't me selling. I was "in meetings with Wilf this morning" until about 10 minutes ago. Go DPBM...
-B
I for one have always believed in a steady climb. It is much better than the quick one we saw on Friday, which didn't hold.
Daytraders or Long Term investors. I think history has shown long term strategies work best. Daytraders can make good money for sure but the timing is such that not many of them do long term...JMO

Deep scan was said to be worth around 700-750K fixed up. The DPBM Blog said they have a verbal offer on it at this time but not a signed contract. So...obviously not a done deal yet.
Also Wilf commented on keeping half the cash (which I agree) in the company and buying back shares with the other half.
350K @.02/share = 17,500,000 shares.
Things are all looking very positive now...
The signing of a deal for a reality TV show...would make us cash flow positive...Can you believe (Cash flow positive) out of a pink sheets...without even figuring in the value of the DR artifact find...not to mention several other salvage operations lined up...
Yes my friends...things are all looking really good for us while the market tanks. I like that because Pink Sheets don't follow the general market (Generally speaking) they create their own based on the company growth and PR...if all of this happens we are looking good both ways...
-B
Gulfbreeze the float was being updated weekly...is there an update for last week on the way...or did it not change? TIA
-B
No I was saying that the company could have been selling additional shares...to purchase the boat! Only they know but I would imagine this is a possibility. To get a nice boat that does everything they need would be worth it IMO.
-B
Have you seen the float move up...just a thought?
-B
Ed...I know you were kidding with him...and you are correct...what a great man to have working for DPBM...I can see why you wanted to hire him...and no offense meant.
-B
At this point I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth...I don't care what color she is. As long as she gets the job done...
P.S. This board really took a move to the positive today. I kind of liked it...May each and everyone of you have a great weekend.
Capt Billy...you are respected by more people than you know. Get well soon and God Bless...
-B
Brezzlin...I keep getting maeler deamons when trying to email you. Something won't let me through...email me...
barrickseven@yahoo.com
Thanks
-B
WOW....would you look at...My eyes are blurry but I think it says...$.0205
-B
Time will tell...
-B
I also appreciate your honesty Ed. Funny thing is we have traded positions you and I. I have watched for a long time and not invested until this point...while you have done the opposite. I hope things work out for all of us. I do believe that Wilf is doing a better job.
Unfortunately I think that Wilf has had to learn that lesson the hard way in who to trust and what to say. Anyway that's my take...I appreciate everyone who posts...if we read with our eyes open we may just see a bigger picture and learn to ask the right questions...
-B
I posted this on DPBM Blog about an hour ago....
The two things I have found are:
First and foremost everyone has an agenda...the question is who's agenda is the author promoting.
The second thing is no matter how big or small your bankroll...someone always has a bigger or smaller one than you.
-B
My point is it doesn't matter who you are. If you are posting you are promoting or trying to influence others one way or the other. Everyone has an agenda. If I have a following then good for me and you if they are buying and you are long...I don't see why you would be concerned.
By their actions you should know them. I wouldn't be able to have a following if I didn't post sincere opinions or facts...and not every stock has gone up that I invest in...mind you...I told people to invest in JADE...It fell from $5.50 all the way to $2.50...yet I'm still holding for earnings. So was I a pumper? Possibly...just not a dumper I guess.
As to reimbursement...I have never offered nor will I. I'm not an insider or 5% shareholder at this point. People invest of their own free will. When Wilf says in a CC that the stock price will be back at $1 within a year...are you going to sue him if it doesn't go there? He is an insider so maybe you will. I haven't taken part in any lawsuit regarding stocks ever...and I've been involved in a lot of stocks over the years that were in litigation. My take is that Wilf was excited about the company and where it is going. If I believe in that hype and buy...that is my problem.
In consideration of that...What if I tell people I'm selling and they dump their shares but I don't really sell. Instead I pick up their shares cheaper..or Maybe I tell them I'm buying but really I'm selling to the ones buying. How is that any different? No matter what I do or say people will say that I was doing something else...and just because I have an opinion doesn't mean all people are sheep. In fact if that was the case no one would be selling and we would be at $.20 by now.
At this point I make money and lose money the same as everyone else. I post the way I do...because for years retail investors have always asked what is on the minds of larger investors...so I tell them what is on my mind. If you can't live with that...then put me on ignore...and by the way I have answered everyone who has emailed me sincerely...Thanks for your post Richard.
-B
To be totally honest with you Kidd at this point I don't know. I have several commitments in the pipeline and the notice was pretty short for a busy pipeline. If I can arrange to get out of these commitments then I will be there...at this point it's a 50/50...but I really would like to meet many of you and see the presentation.
-B
I have posted several times that people should invest based on their own opinions...not mine. That being said yes I'm invested here. Not planning on leaving anytime soon. Still accumulating shares. Picked up another 500,000 at the close today @ $.014
-B
Either way wouldn't MEXP be considered a competitor to DPBM?
Just curious...as often as you post I wonder if Burt is getting his money's worth out of you Capted...not trying to be unpleasant...I appreciate you putting info here that would benefit DPBM for future reference. I would think a post or two now and then should do it...but you sit here all day so I was just curious...I guess now I can see the forest through the trees on your postings...
-B
That would depend on what is happening behind the silence...don't you think?
-B
Anyone see the spread on the stock price this morning $.011 on the bid and $.015 on the ask?
-B
Forgot to finish my statement in the last post. I placed a few links there...Has anyone looked up any of the artifacts they are bringing up to establish a value? The links I posted are a few websites I found that sell antiques...etc
-B
Good call. Couldn't help but jump on today for a few moments during College Ball. Ohio has there hands full with Illinois.
By the way does anyone find it particularly odd that both Wilf and Randy are on the road this week and next with no CC's. Management seems to be very confident. As you stated...and as an investor in a Pink sheet it doesn't matter what the company produces as a side benefit as long as the share price goes up.
That being said...I don't think this is a distraction for the divers or the company. They laid out their business plan in the last CC and this is merely a sideline benefit for cash.
Would anyone complain if the company took 2 months off to film 12 sessions of a reality show if it meant 2 million in cash...Hmmm I think the company spent 2 million in the last two years. Would that mean buying the float back to 150 Million shares? What would that do to the share price? Not to mention "THEY ARE" bringing artifacts up as we speak. Much better than some treasure hunting companies have done in many more years....
Lastly how many of you are CEO's of a company or management or even a common businessman? Would you go on a CC and tell investors there was a 97% chance of the Reality Show getting picked up without contracts in hand or in review...Just curious! Can you smell it...that's not smoke people that's the smell of money in the next few months...and potentially lots of it.

As long as I can get shares in bulk...I'm going to keep buying. I have an eye on Level 2 all the time...We wouldn't want to give Wilf any cheap shares to buy back when he does start buying them back right?
By the way I predict that we will be closing next week at $.02 or higher...any bets?
-B
Silence is golden...the next few weeks will be very interesting indeed...
