I was just gonna say the same thing !
It's nothing less than Amazing...
Shooting star daily candlestick if that happens.
Equals--end of run, time to pause and catch it's breath.
I wasn't in, but still had fun watching it...
APYM looking booshy today...
Nice little ascending triangle.
BIPH and CPTC are both in the same boat...
Management has unfortunatly promised PR's within a defined time frame. If BIPH doesn't have the Amris deal signed within the first few days of March, it is going to have a breakdown of the pps.
Same goes for CPTC. It walked down from 6.36 to 3.22 on the dissapointment of investors the China deal was not done last year as promised. Now, in the last trading days before the Shareholder's Meeting, as we wait for News most us of anticipated was coming this week. It hasn't. The last message on the IHUB board was 5:10pm yesterday...I guess folks are using the rule: "If you don't have anything nice to say, it's probably best to say nothing at all".
The IHS is weakening, and will most likely fail to yield, because of the lack of news, causing low volume down, due to no buyers. The double top it's forming now will take over to test 3.22/3.26 again. I see another walkdown if no news arrives this week. Around another dollar down...
That's the story with BB stocks. They don't have revenue to base information on, they need News to survive...The story stock has to keep the stories, or PR's coming...
They really need to stop announcing time frames for their deals to be done...GLTA,

Good Luck Longs,
That's a great article porshca,
Thanks for posting it. Can you imagine how many people heard about Swammi and 024 for the first time during that three day conference? That was great exposure ! This stock sure has a sweet story, Go SWME!
If you want to see a "shell" in action, keep an eye on XTRN.OB they are due to go through a reverse merger, and a reverse split, to get listed on one of the exchanges in the near future. I had a sizeable positon in it, but sold most of it due to inactivity to use those funds elsewhere for the time being. You can bet I'm watching this one like a hawk. This company has a history of reverse mergers. It is a unusual kind of game...small private companies merging with a shell company that is already listed to boost them into the bigtime (hopefully...) But remember the "curse of the reverse"...They pop big, then pull back just as hard, just as fast, so you better be watching it everyday, and sell hopefully, near the top of that first pop. Because they usually end up down for a while after that...A very tough and dangerous game...
Good Luck!
We are BOOSHING into the close!!! 4.10--UP .25 EOM
Crapsguy--Agreed, we may boosh Tuesday,
We got our late day rally today--from down .125 to up .03--Sweet!
Noone wants to be left out in case we get a big PR Tuesday.
Good Luck, and a good 3 day weekend to All,
Musk
It's a slow motion, super low volume slump today.
That's usually not a very good sign...plus we took out yesterdays low. If there is no new PR Monday before the open, I get the feeling we Longs are in for some more pain...
A late day rally sure would be nice. You'd think folks would be buying today in anticipation of a PR Monday...
The inverse head and shoulders is not blown yet, though the second shoulder is being stretched out a little to far now to have faith it will work. If we can stay above 3.46 (preferably higher) and rally from there, it should yield more to the upside than if we took out the 4.26 today. IMO.
BTW This is just all short term nonsense, the future still looks very good...Go CTC!
Oh yeah, we need NEWS! I can't seem to get thru a week without saying that at least once...LOL
GLTA,
Asia Pay News: Let's hope this PR gives us a boost today.
We could really use one...

Thanks EP--you just named three of four:
Of the stocks I own LONG!
The other one is SWME.(give me your chart read on this one if you will. TIA) Nice symetrical triangle in an uptrend (I think...)
It's very reasurring to hear You say:
"I have three stocks now that I believe are great ones to have in your repretoire. CPTC, BIPH, and APYM. THese three all have the potential to go up 500% or more over the next 12-18 monhts."
Last year I daytraded around 30 times a week, and found that too stressfull. This year I decided to buy and hold all year. I value your opinion, and you just made me Very Happy!!!
Long and Strong,

I've been to Minnesota many times trucking. My problem with up there is: it's too darn cold. I spent my first 30 years in Hawaii and never will get used to "cold". I came over here to the "big island" to drive truck and see the rest of America.
Here, we had the warmest winter. It flurried once, and was gone the next day, with temps way above normal. The winters are not that bad, but it does get very hot here, but it's a dry hot with little humidity. We are just below the major snow line, and tornado alley is west and north of us. Not too many have hit this area. The bottom line is: this is one of the cheapest states to live in, low taxes, property is dirt cheap, rent, gas, etc. are very low, and the people are very decent and nice. When I retired, I chose Lake Tenkiller (after seeing most of the 49 states) to be my home, tho there are many other places I know to be nicer (Hawaii), yet too expensive. Anyway, I'm rambling again, but thanks for the info on your home zone. C'ya
cyberbubba--We'll give you a shout next time we head towards BA. I saved your info into my favorites...
Thanks,

The cheapest land I found in the area was $1K/acre. It's in the surrounding area, and not that nice. One seller has a funky hand painted sign, I drove down the dirt road and was not impressed...You have to be sure you have easement rights (that's the ability to access your own property without crossing someone elses). We know a good lawyer that knows all about the technicalities a buyer needs to know. We looked at a few places in the $2K+/acre area that were very nice, but we wanted better, so will wait.
This should be enough info to give you a good feel for the area.
If you have any questions, let me know...It seems cyberbubba may know more about this area, as he's been in this zone longer than I have.
All I know is I fell in love with the place three years ago the first time I saw it.
It's virtually crime free, quiet, secluded, truly a hidden jem.
And the fishing is awesome. Golf anyone?
C'ya,

cyberbubba--Howdy Neighbor!!!
We live only 30 minutes apart, amazing! Finally we have a neighbor...Maybe you'd like to join us (goldrusher, elektromont, and Gunluvver2) on the CPTC IHUB Board after the close for a discussion on Lake Tenkiller. After CPTC makes us filthy rich, I plan to build a house on one of the hills overlooking the lake, and a Marina/Resort in a secluded cove on the lake. My woman loves Captain D's restraunts, and the closest one is in BA. Maybe we'll all meet for dinner there sometime...Bigfoot eh??? OK, I'm into that. Get it on video and make truckfulls of money! LOL Barron Fork--Sweet!!!
I want my house on top of Bullitt Mountain...
Good Luck,
Musk
OT--cyberbubba--That's the plan...
Ft. Smith, AR is only 30 minutes away, a fairly good sized city...Look on the CPTC board after the close for more info on this topic. I will update you, goldrusher, and electromont (and anyone else that cares) all I've learned and seen of the area in two years of researching it...

Thursday February 17, 8:30 am ET
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jack Barber Ph.D., Senior Vice President, Drug Development of CytRx Corporation (Nasdaq: CYTR - News), will participate in an Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease panel at the BIO CEO & Investor Conference being held February 23-24, 2005 in New York, NY at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel. The panel discussion will be held at 9:30am EST on Wednesday, February 23 in the Basildon Room.
According to BIO CEO, the panel, entitled "Biotech's Solutions to Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Disease," will provide "a clinical perspective on the problem and opportunities that are being explored towards finding a cure for Alzheimer's and Parkinson's." Dr. Barber will discuss CytRx's small molecule drug, arimoclomol, which may provide cellular protection from abnormal proteins by activating molecular "chaperone" proteins that can repair or degrade damaged proteins that are believed to cause many diseases, including ALS. The panel discussion will be webcast and can be found at http://www.corporate- ir.net/ireye/confLobby.zhtml?ticker=28873&item_id=1009743.

I woke up late, so no time to reply to you now. Look for more on this place after the close. I just did a Google search and found tons of links to the lake area. I'll post on CTC board.
I think after CTC makes us all rich, some of us should get together and buy a big chunk of land or two and build our homes on top of the mountain, and build a Resort/Marina on the water. Sounds like fun!
Have a good one,
Musk

Avatar--I know exactly how you feel...
I know all about the "woke up this morning and I got myself a beer" (one of my favorite Doors songs BTW) except I like rum in my coffee in the morning (all day actually)...I've been doing that most of this year thanks to my being very overweight in CPTC and not selling any during the Dump...Barkeeper, I'll have another...It's nice to have some company on this wild ride. I forget, did you bail on CPTC?
Keep the Faith man...Cheers!
OT--Gunluvver--Lake Tenkiller:
Yep, it's pretty awesome...It's like CTC: a well kept secret, but not for long. I hear a boom is coming and now is the time to buy while it's still cheap (and go Long--lol).
We were looking last year, buy decided to wait till CTC could afford us a better location. We were looking at the Moonshiner Rd. area just south of the lake has really nice acreage for $2K/per. That's the area northwest of Sallisaw. That's about as cheap as it gets, but we want to be able to see the lake, so will wait... We drive around the lake on weekdays and almost never see the Police or any traffic. It's a nice, quiet corner of the state.
When you get serious, fly to Tulsa, I'll pick you up and we'll go see two good realtors we know and take tour a of what they have. Who knows, we just might end up as neighbors. I guess it would be OK seeing as how you are an ex-trucker too. I started in '85 with Swift running the western 7, two years later on to Freymiller out of Bakerfield (later moved HQ to OKC) Stayed there thru the name change to Ameritruck. Five years later I went chickenhaulin' (Western Star style) for O.J. Monday out of the Hot Springs area. Finally ended up at Trucks for You Inc. here in Muskogee my last two years, and when they laid me of to take the company all O/O I retired. I did 1.25 million miles without ever getting a moving safety award (believe it or not). And only 5 minor bandaids. I'm pretty proud of that... I had to quit it anyway, it really messed up my back. (And now, for a word from our sponsor:>)) "024" from Swiss Medica (SWME) is the only thing that helps.
Anyway, I'm rambling (too much coffee with rum)...Here's a link to one of our realtors:

Be sure to take the virtual tour on the left column, and check out their prices.

OT--goldrusher--re: multiple monitors:
I have three monitors running now, and could have four, but one blew up last week. NEC monitors are the best IMO.
I use Nvidia display adapters. I have one FX5900 256MB(AGP)(good game card, but I can't wait to get a 6800(($300.+)) for my games), and one FX5500 256MB(PCI). It's best to use the same brand name as they use the same drivers. Both have two outputs=four monitors.
On the top two, I run "Fidelity Active Trader Pro" as one of my trading platforms. It is Awesome, but Scottrader looks WAY better, so I run it on the bottom two. I have four charts on the top right, and a watch list with two Level II's and two Time and Sales on the top left(Fidelity). On the bottom, I have two charts, a watch list, and four Time and Sales(Scottrader). With the fourth monitor, I have four more charts, for a total of ten. I watch the same ten stocks on both watch lists.
I consider myself very lucky to be able to work from home, and for myself. I spent way too many years Trucking away from home. When CTC becomes a ten bagger, we plan to build a nice log home in the Lake Tenkiller area just down the road from us. It's very underdeveloped there, so land is Cheap($1K/acre). It's one of the nicest areas in all of Oklahoma I know of...
Anyway, I hope this helps...When you're ready to hookup your multiple monitors, just ask if you get stuck, I'm sure I can help. It's really quite simple to do. And while you're in there, you'll probably want to add a stick of memory, as you will need it to run multiple monitors.
Good Luck,
Musk
OT--imag--Someday it will be
Just like you described, After CTC makes it a ten bagger... adding only a home theater system, and a keg in the reefer.
First I'll need a bigger house, with a room just for a setup something like that. But what will I do with it? After I retire on CTC, I won't need to trade anymore....LOL
CNBC has some nice TV's, plasma? Who knows...
Good Luck,
Musk
We will have to agree to disagree on this one...
It's only going to be a pullback to around 1.15 anyway if what I see happens. Can't be right all the time. lol
I do see your point of the volume not being lower in the head tho...It's interesting how people see things differently, though we usually agree for the most part. (I used to use the pattern I see here to short YHOO successfully quite often with good success)
And yes, it was you that called the pullback on CTC to 3.26
as per the discussion on that board this a.m. I sure hope it's inverse H&S comes to be...A good PR this week or early next could make it happen!
BIPH forming a nasty looking head and shoulders:
BIPH in a danger zone...head and shoulders slanted to the bearish. Let's hope it double bottoms here and takes out todays high of 1.35 If it breaks below yesterdays low of 1.26 this booger will dump another ten cents or so...Stochastics turned down at the 50=not good. I do like the 50X200 crossover, and finding support at the 200 (so far)...Good Luck...
The chart sure "could" become:
A nice inverse head and shoulders: It has a bullish slant to it, yesterdays intraday high is much higher than on 2/8.
The 20X50 crossover looks strong. If the stochastics bounce up here off the 50, it may have a chance to pull it off, if the volume picks up again.
A close (or even intraday) above 4.25 this week or early next week would be awesome. To close above the blue line at 4.30 confirms liftoff. This pattern (if it works) should yield up to around 4.60+ (no news) or so IMO...
Even if it goes down here, it will still look good as long as we hold 3.50's, tho going up here soon is preferable...
GLTA,
APYM Tripped Over It's Own Feet This A.M. :>((
Opening Down Ten Cents Today: Bummer!
monkeybiz--it was MSGI that called the run up, I called the pullback. And thanks for reminding me who else heard news was coming before the SH Meeting, I couldn't recall. It doesn't matter IMO if it's "The Big One", any PR that's new will do... If it's you going to Irvine for a trip thru HQ soon, have a Great one! Try to count how many spools, both empty and full of core they have on the lot.
I only have one question to add to your list:
I've heard the core is being shipped to a GC plant in Canada to be wrapped (someone posted that info). Why ship it there? GC has many plants more centrally located in the US...It would be cheaper to truck it to the midwest, than to Eastern Canada, and easier to distribute from there also.
Could you also write down the Company names of any trucks you see pulling out with loads. As an ex-Trucker, I'd be interested to know who does the hauling of their core to the GC plant.
Thanks,
Musk

Chart Reading 101:
1> Bring up an interactive chart.
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/intchart/frames/frames.asp?symb=cptc&time=&freq= This one you can have any time frame.
http://stockcharts.com/def/servlet/SC.web?c=CPTC,uu[w,a]dacayyay[db][pb20!b50][vc60][iLp14,3,3!La12,.... This one is good for longer term charts.
2> Next, you need to know chart patterns.
http://www.chartpatterns.com/ Load up a chart of your choosing and find patterns in it. YHOO has a lot of chart patterns.
3> To help you understand Technical Analysis(TA) terms like Moving Averages, Stochastics, MACD, Volume, etc.
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/fin/chart/chart-08.html Be sure to click all links in "Related Links" on the top left.
4> To understand Candlestick Charts.
http://www.candlecharts.com/about-candles-basics.html
5> There are a lot of sites that have Chart Schools.
http://stockcharts.com/education/ This is one of my favorites. Do a search, and you'll come up with many more.
6> If you don't have real-time streaming charts. Scottrade will give you Scottrader for free with registration.
http://www.scottrader.com/ This one looks really good, but has no TA options other than Volume.
7> After you get #6, download MedVed Quote Tracker, also free. It has all of the Technical Indicators, Level 2, Time and Sales,
http://www.quotetracker.com/ When logging in, use the Scottrader server, and use the same user name and password you use at Scottrader.
8> If you only have one monitor running off your computer, I recommend at least having two. I have more than that... If you are interested, I can help you to install multiple monitors.
Good Luck,
Musk
J.C. gave me the "impression"...
(Of course he couldn't come right out and say why...)
That the shareholders would have reason to celebrate at the SH Meeting...I've heard other posts here and at RB that mirror that sentiment, tho maybe it's just all wishful thinking...
It really doesn't matter anyway. News will come when news comes...
I'm just running out of patience. I need patience, and I need it NOW!!!
I just hope IR doesn't pull another one like they have with "China News by the end of the 4th Qtr. 2004" That one cost us from 6.36 to 3.22 (or roughly 60%...)
Good Luck To All,
Musk
EP--No technical failures yet--agreed...
My point I think was the charts for BIPH & APYM "Looked" good, and now they "look" ugly...They "could have" both booshed at any time, and now booshing will be delayed...
Good close for CPTC ! Did you see my call of a pullback to 3.90 briefly, two hours before it happened? http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=5443239
Not too shabby eh? I missed the bottom by .01
A close above 4.25 and then 4.38 would be awesome!
SWME may be forming a nice breakout pattern...I read on RB something about warrants keeping the pps sub .40 until March.
Don't understand that stuff too well...
Good Luck!
LickitySplit--
Thanks for the flowers...
This pullback had to happen, and it's normal and healthy.
Look at the chart and find the stochastics, it's the two light green lines running together just above the volume.
When it runs flat at the top like that for 1.5 days, that means the stock is overbought. It's an almost sure sign the price is too high and needs to come down to attract new buyers. It usually falls from the top all the way to the bottom, but sometimes when conditions are bullish, it will bounce up at the mid point(50) and start up again. That is what I hope will happen here.
I retired from a 15 year OTR Trucking career three years ago when I met my Better Half. She taught me chart patterns first, then volume studies, and then I started hunting the internet for chart and technical analysis tutorials, and took off from there. I see charts everywhere now, gotta admit I'm hooked. For the first two years I was a very active day trader and got a lot of real time experience in a very short time. I used to buy YHOO every time the stochastics hit the bottom on the ten day/hourly chart, and sold when it hit the top, and did rather well with that strategy (that's a good one for you to look at as part of your chart studies). Now I am an "Investor", overweight in CPTC with no plans to sell this year.
Just remember, there is a lot more to being a trader than reading charts. It is just one tool of many one must use to be successfull...
I havent't heard from you in a while. All OK?
Did you hold on that dump to 3.26 or hold? Your first entrty price didn't hold up your first week or two...Did you get more at that bottom?
Good Luck To You,
Musk
Tough day for BIPH, APYM, and CPTC...
Both BIPH and APYM were showing good chart patterns, and both charts are ruined as of today for any possible breakout soon.
CPTC pumpty dumpty'd today, up .32 this a.m., took it all back plus .02, and is now back above 4.00 It could form a nice 8+ day inverse head and shoulders if it will break above 4.25 this week with good volume and momentum...
GLTA,
Yep, BIPH "should" turn up here,
This hours candle is a doji, we just bounced up sharply off the bottom on the 10 day/hourly stochastics.
Darn it, I just had to add some more down here...LOL
GLTA,
What's up with BIPH Today???
This sucker is DUMPING !!!
And most of us thought it was just getting ready to RUN...Bummer!
What's up with BIPH Today???
This sucker is DUMPING !!!
And most of us thought it was just getting ready to RUN...Bummer!
Institutional Interest Has Increased This Week:
http://thomson.finance.lycos.com/lycos/iwatch/cgi-bin/iw_ticker?t=CPTC&range=7&mgp=0&i=3....
Look at the pie chart at the bottom...
The chart is shaping up nicely:
The 20X50 crossover up is good. A closing pps above 4.38 (the 200SMA) will confirm the uptrend. It's forming a tiny symetrical triangle today, that probalbly won't yield up much.
Unfortunatly, we just had a great run (.99 since Friday a.m.), the volume is diminishing, and we've been very overbought since Monday a.m.
I see a pullback (in the absence of news) to around 3.90 briefly this week. Then when it breaks above todays intraday high, it will have formed a Nice 7-9 day inverse head and shoulders that will top out around 4.70ish We'll just have to wait and see...
P.S. If there is NO news before the SH Meeting, I'm bailing out...Mr. Carswell has said to me (and others) there would be a significant PR before the SH Meeting...
GLTA,
