Post from yahoo....
Question? How come no one has mentiond this...its wamu back in 1992! 19-Jan-09 09:51 pm
Have I missed conversation about this bank siuation that offers a 'case' sample regarding fraudulent conveyance?
Have people noticed that it too was seized by the FDIC Regulators. Why is it that no one has brought up the Fraudulent Conveyance Suit that was filed against the FDIC regarding this bank?
Why has no one referenced them?
- Meritor Saving Bank was also known as Philadelphia Savings Fund Society.
Now all Denke's clues make sense.
I dont think he knows too much, I just think he was playing a game to lead ME/YOU to a case that set a precident.
Case is Murphy VS. Meritor.
Did take a while to resolve though!
Good point... and why didn't we get the same treatment remains a mystery.
link?
How to make money...short JPM!!! Watch on Tuesday.
Note Z is only on that thread. It sounds like it's a done deal according to Bophan.
I know that I would not go through this weekend without shares. He COULD be holding only his schlong on Tuesday, never know :)
One thing is for sure you might want to get a list of the stock market holidays :)
Go Arizona Cardinals!
LOL. You might want to wait until Tuesday when the market opens MM. It's closed on Monday :) You might be the only one there.
Please tell us "why"
Thank you!
L2 anyone?
Big blocks going through :) Don't logoff this is getting interesting. Wow, Look at that spread.
MMs are shaking it up now. This should be interesting.
you can find them here.

I agree with whoever made the statement regarding BK 11 is the safest place to be right now in this market.
In my mind :)... JPM earnings report is the leverage we have been waiting for... especially the statement "NEGATIVE GOODWILL"
You should note, these numbers do not include the estimated $31.2 billion of writedowns associated with the Washington Mutual (WAMUQ.PK) transaction.
Before I get to the heart of things, I do want to caution that WaMu recorded tens of billions in writedowns to its asset base in being acquired by JPMorgan Chase. Those are not reflected in these results (as they were apparently taken by Washington Mutual just before the acquisition).

While you are here i called Kcc today and asked if there had been any changes to the hearing on the Jan 29th and Tim kelsey said the deposit issue was still listed and he checked the Pacer site on there also. In fact they get the documents from Pacer and then post them on there site.
Can you clear up your earlier post about the deposit issue being changed ?.
There has been a lot of concern over that here today.
Thanks.
Just getting into the discussion. What did I miss? I'm seeing share prices tossed around. Are we close to being golden?

The 4B isn't on the schedule anymore for the Jan 29 hearing....z
I remember "Z" pointing out the 4.4 billion is no longer scheduled for the 29th.
Bought my first block of preferreds this morning... what a pain. They wouldn't fill my AON buy order @ the ask, so I had to break it up into 2 orders. They raised the ask for both of the fills.
Very strange trading day for all classes of WAMU.
Thanks Tony, I appreciate it.
Tony, you did a great job calling this last Friday. What are you thoughts on tomorrow?
