I hear all kinds of talk from floor traders, mostly non factual and really out there; but something here tells me otherwise. I believe that something positive will be announced, maybe friday after the close.
could it be the HUAWEI arbitration or maybe a new liscence I really don't know. Particularly after friday's drop below 50, I believe we're due for a bounce here, so why not; sometimes you just need to follow your instinct.

I did not mean to start an argument here. OLDG gave me the numbers for past sales which basically are about 30 less than LG FOR THE LAST FOUR YEARS. I do trust my source and I will go with my hunch. IDCC mgt.appearing on the floor of NYSE must have some positive news to talk about. I just hope that it is the HUAWEI arbitration results. I think JIMLUR suggestion of a 10% move makes sense assuming they settle for about 200 million or 5 bucks a share plus future income for IDCC.
I think if you really think about it for IDCC's mgt. to appear on such a public forum must at least help our cause in informing the investment community of the potential here and thus encourage more investors to take positions. JMHO.

I appreciate any help here; the reason I am pressing the issue is pure speculation on my part. I heard that the arbitration results might be announced on or before IDCC ring the bell on the NYSE on the 29th.
I would like to roll the dice on some may calls and who knows we might get lucky.

I understand what you're saying, I guess what I'm asking is a rough estimate. say low to high, are we talking 50 million on the low end or much higher. I know it's just speculation, I am just trying to get a feel for this since they're as big as NOKIA.
