Lol.. No bud, that is a REAL trading platform using a broker that does their own clearing (Penson). Those brokers you mentioned are for the average joe. That is why you see their commercials all over TV. They have to restrict certain stocks cause many of thier clients are amateurs. They are the Wall Mart of the stock world... you need to be shopping at Saks trading the kind of money you manage.
Here are some places you should consider and what they are good for. You got the skills.. now you just need the right tools..
http://www.nobletrading.com (for Day trading)
http://www.wtctrading.com (for large position swing trading)
http://www.interactivebrokers.com (to short OTC stocks)
Dang Joe..
now I feel like I'm getting cheated.. I only been charging 10% :(
http://www.nobletrading.com clears through Penson Financial.
SIAF why are they pink?
Okay, here is the deal.. I get asked this a lot so I'm going to make a post that outlines why SIAF is a pink. That way from now on I can simply link back.. lol.
Technically SIAF is not a pink.. it begin trading on the Spokane OTC as a mining stock in the mid 70's.
SIAF went public through a reverse merger conducted by Belmont Partners. The original plan was to merge into the shell, conduct two year audits, then file a Form 10 to list on the OTCBB.
The company started their 3 year audit in late 2008. The plan was to complete 2006-2007 first, then conduct 2008 and file a Form 10 with the SEC in early 2009. Problem is there was a huge delay in getting the 2006-2007 audit done because of a problem over how to properly value land rights in China. A recent change in Chinese law regarding land rights created some problems in completing the audit. Those issues were resolved, and the 2006-2007 audit were published on July 6th 2009.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Sino-Agro-Food-Inc-Completes-iw-770165940.html?x=0&.v=2
This delay caused the 2008 audit to fall behind. Due to this delay, the Company would not have been able to file their Form 10 until late 2008. This would have meant that shortly after completing the Form 10, they would need to file a 10K. Let me simply state that auditing and filing an SEC annual report can be a very expensive thing for a China company. Auditors must travel over seas, documents must be translated by special legal translators etc..
So, to save money (which is what smart management teams do) they decided to postpone the Form 10 filing until early next year. That way they can complete the 2008 and 2009 audits in tandem, saving them money on auditors, attorney's etc..
Company already publicly announced Michael T. Williams was retained to handle their up listing. http://www.gopublicdirect.com

I don't think a prominent, well known SEC Attorney would let a company like SIAF make an announcement like that if it wasn't true.
Also, I don't think Madsen and Associates, CPA's, a PCAOB registered firm would allow SIAF to public an audit bearing their name if they didn't do it..
So.. if those facts don't make you see that SIAF is honestly working to become OTCBB.. then I don't know what proof one would need. It boils down to ones faith in their "out of the box" due diligence.
SIAF

Mirror company formation
Mirror company formation is a specialised form of spin out used to create a new public company. It simplifies the process of listing the shares on a public stock exchange.
That would be a lot of beer haha!
I normally leave the whole loaf..

Oh but I did.. pretty much all of it under $.05 ;)
Yes, amazing returns a plenty in Small Cap China..
How about $97.45 turning into $10,000?
hehe... sorry couldn't resist..
1/29/2009 SIAF BOUGHT 10000 SHARES OF SIAF AT $0.009 ($7.45) $0.00 ($97.45)
I thought he gave an honest assessment. I don't think the problem is in how he presents the information. I think the problem is in how certain individuals understand what is being said.
With that said.. no I have not been compensated, nor do I have any interest, vested or otherwise in the company. I just like following old clients to see how they are doing.
SIAF.. finally after several months we have formed a solid enough base to most likely keep us above $1 once we get there again. I am simply loving the increase in liquidity.
He's got his coming. This coincided with IB having shares in inventory to short SIAF. As of today that inventory has been exhausted. SIAF has some short interest now...
Hear that crackling sound? That is the shorts getting fried.

Yep.. whoever is selling them is a moron and loves to dump them on the bid relentlessly.
To me staying liquid is a better deterrent in this market climate. In and out.. scalp here.. scalp there.. never go long. Only stock I am long on is SIAF.. and those are all 100% free paid for shares now.
SIAF $.90 resistance cracked..
I take a much more simpler approach..
It's the holidays and people are out shopping, taking time off and generally not as interested in the market after a summer rally.
I think most people are going to be trying to put the economy out of their thoughts this Christmas holiday. I think most are simply burned out on the 24 hour doom and gloom news cycle.
Charts don't work when there is uncertainty over dilution. A financier or insider can screw your chart up in a heart beat.
Charts only truly work on stocks with a static share structure and public float.. anything else is really just guessing at best.
FEED is a prime example of how financiers can ruin a good stock. For a good while FEED was a day traders dream stock. Then the PIPE investors started dumping stock at the most moronic times. It ruined the ebb and flow of the stock. Day traders turned thier nose at the stock and volume died.
Recently volume picked up on the effects of the SEED run. Guess what.. PIPE guys returned to kill the rallies.. and day traders said screw you.. and now the volume is dying again.
DOMS needs to Sh$% or get off the pot
Seems to keep getting stronger lol
SIAF- It also has to do with location. Working with the Government to secure land assets in the South has advantages as most beef production in China is done in the North where the winters are harsher.
Many of these programs are pilot programs for the Government to show proof of concept, ie: the SanJing JV. I don't think I need to explain the significance of this should the Government like what they see.
The CEO does take calls, the man is extremely intelligent, never beats around a question.
Haha.. I've been told I'm not very nice either.. 12 years commercial construction (Plumber) and 6 years in the Army.. haha
SIAF Pressure cooker lol
SIAF with all the volume building, when those $.90's go I bet it is going to be a rocket.
Some of the volume is obviously mirrored and artificial.. but one thing is certain... the stock has clearly formed a very healthy base at $.83/$.85 which should really help it stay above $1 on the next rally.
Redchip Conference - What is sad, is the Company probably paid thousands of dollars to have that interview. Would have been cheaper to simply issue a PR in-house and host thier own CC.
Redchip is just a glorified stock promotion site.. they are NOT IR in my honest opinion.
My sentiments exactly...
Already made my thoughts clear..

IB has inventory to short SIAF, guess it's time to start heating the oil up. Mmmmmmm Mmmmm fried shorts.
Did your trades get mirrored?
FEED typically bounces on long red bars.
