That would actually be about 1% against. A very small number to be sure, but more than 0.001%.
A small but vocal minority. I think I mentioned this before, but there was a proposed landfill expansion near my house and a bunch of seniors from the nearby community retirement home flooded the meetings until it was shot down, so it can be done.
Differences are:
-This was to be an expansion of a previous limiting agreement that everyone had already signed off on.
-would have encroached on residential-zoned area.
-Landfill did smell at times, depending on the winds.
.....among many other reasons, some of them good. Issue here is the only arguments are non-scientific and non fact-based. A small minority can make a difference... but I think they have to be accompanied by good reasons. I don't see any here.
Seems UL won't be for a while if they just started testing. Too bad, I woudld've really liked to see both hit at once.
That's too bad. Wish someone could get in touch with him. I really don't think it was fake... he posted pics of a trip to Indiana, the place being built, etc.
Has anyone else ever been there?
Fine... but by this standard every penny stock CEO should be out, because I know many of them have tanked harder than pctl has at times.
If the standard is to manage to share price...well, that's a high standard.
Gary took care of the lawsuit, he locked down distributors, and he found some awesome funding to get rid of the toxic debt. I am able to take a step back and see it all as a positive, because I was able to lower my average cost significantly.
Gary can't control that QB rules changed, he can't control that the UK shut down, and he can't control that fluid demand went down as quickly as it went up.
I differentiate between bad decisions and decisions that were wrong in hindsight. There might have been some missteps, but I don't see anything he clearly just bombed on that should have been obvious at the time. It seems his biggest crime is guiding too high. That's bad for the share price, but it doesn't mean he's mismanaged the company.
If all works out with the oil stuff, this will all be a distant memory. Getting pieces in place takes time. I believe we are and have been on the right track.
GLTA!
Expectations were mismanaged. Aside from that, 2020 was a great year!
Not a bad time to load up while things are quiet. I imagine it stays like this until something happens. I like it at 3 cents.
I'm not clear who is selling at this prices. A mystery to me.
I've barely followed all this but I am certainly holding all of mine. What's not to love?
Thanks!
Someone has posted within the last couple of days that Catholyte was mentioned in the patents.
I didn't mean to imply that we were... but if we are listed in the patent..then clearly there's some level of shared ownership or interest, since we have some control in who uses our product.
Being a part of this proprietary process seems to be extremely valuable, and I think there will be a high demand for people wanting to distribute for us going forward.
Indeed.
Wonder what kind of constraints we're looking at.
Is the bottleneck/challenge going to be ramping up production, or is it going to be getting everyone onboard?
I know we have 23 distributors but it seems we'd need a ton more, and a ton more in strategic locations where I don't think we are right now.
I think ramping up and getting distributors going will be a big issue. I know it took Desert Eagle many, many months to get going.
On another note.....If we are the only product listed in this patent.... then it would seem people will be going nuts trying to become distributors... and I hope we'd change the terms significantly ( grandfather all existing in, of course) to capture more of that value for the company. This is only fair since distributors coming on now are taking no risk if we are the only option. We should get a MUCH greater share of the profits.
Thanks again for getting me into this one!
This is great!
I didn't realize this... So we have a monopoly on this process? I guess we can license it out, for a price...
This patent could be worth billions.
Wow!
exciting! Thanks for the response.
Holding my 6M shares as long as possible. Paying credit card interest rates right now but can't imagine selling for these prices with everything coming.
WHo would have thought something would come along to make UK NHS stuff look small.?
GLTA!
OF the 400,000+ wells out there in the US right now.. how many would you say are in this boat?
Additionally...once this is widely known, what is our moat that keeps others from just producing their own fluids in-house, or using competitors?
Would love to see some tax credits for doing this kind of recovery. Much more efficient than drilling new.
I agree with your points on this and prior post.
There will be competition... and.... clearly not EVERY well in the US could or would need this, for whatever reason.
That said... running some quick numbers.. Man is there some potential here.
Let's say for each well we end up with $25k profit per year.
Let's say we end up with one quarter of 1% of US wells (1025)
The amount of profit on that ($25mil) is greater than what our company is worth right now.
Not sure what the results will be... but taking some very conservative numbers as I believe I've done above.. the opportunity is clearly there for a company that's able to make this work!
I have the same thought..you may have to fight me for them :)
That's true... but it will be years instead of months before we make our millions if it gets rejected.
Stock will tank big time... but it would create a buying opportunity for those of us who agree that the long-term fate of SNPW is not tied to what happens in RI
In one of the Tweets she was talking about Chase...Nothing to do with MedRecycler. She seems like a basher/short... or at the very least, is grasping at straws and in doing so deviating from her message.
Do you think Covid had an impact on UL testing as well? I wonder if we would have been approved by now.
You have stated that we own nothing and are counting on hope and a handshake. I'm curious why you bought so many shares if you don't believe this company owns anything.
Not trying to be affrontive.... just genuinely curious in where you saw the value. If you had it to do over.. would you still buy all the shares you did?
Thanks for your insights!
Agreed man.. I have been adding for the last 1.5 years and always felt that in a broader sense.. we were on the right track.
Wish I wasn't tapped out when we dropped below 2 cents because that was crazy.
Frankly, I'm a little disappointed with the rise because I was hoping to add a boatload ( millions) at those prices once some other funds came through. Oh well :)
Hope this is the beginning of something special!
Thank you sir. Report does look pretty promising. I never understood the 1.5 cent prices here.
We shall see. I haven't sold any of my shares. I've thought for a while that even with issues and low revenue... fair value here is closer to 5 or 6 cents a share. Brett might sell some of his shares, but I think most of the bigger holders here won't be flipping even at 3 cents.
We're above my average now, but I was buying much higher as I know many others were. We'll see...
Thanks.
Well, I was down about 1/2 a years salary on my holding here and now I'm up about that much, so I won't complain :)..
Never seemed like it should have been trading that low to begin with.
GLTA
Why are we up so much today?
what is happening? News?
more than reasonable.. If the full report is coming in 30 days, then that doesn't mean 30 more days of testing... maybe just a couple.
Sounds like the results will be good... but the results of hospital testing was good too. At some point all these good tests will need to translate to revenue.
Good with me.. At this point, I'm just hoping we get the certification. Not saying it won't happen.. but delays have rarely ended well for me on the OTC so I'm a little jaded.
Still holding and no plans not to... but I'm not going to let myself get excited til something happens.
Man... info aside, and thanks for that... props to you or whoever it was for making it through. Glad you're here with us.
not suggesting it's the only thing of interest... but rather that they may be waiting to give us info on everything until that comes through. It was implied in their Tweets that they had info they wanted to share.... but were just waiting until they could.
Early on I said that the Q2 thing was optimistic. The DEM has until 7-15, and that's into Q3. Given our recent silence on so many issues... I can only conclude that we're waiting to hear from the DEM before we put any more info out there.
A q2 shareholder meeting with no info is going to be meaningless, so I hope we delay if there's nothing to say.
We may have some inside info that we'll get approval before then. Would love to see it.
A month and a half since Chase, and no word since. Maybe we'll see something about it on the Q1?
thanks for posting! Please keep us up to date if you see anything out there.
Also wouldn't hurt to respond on twitter and all since this local lady puts the company on blast with every post, tweet, etc. :)
I've said for a while it seems like pandering, and many of us here think that. Hard for me to know how much of mine is wishful thinking, so I like hearing it again.
GLTA!
It touched the high for just a second, and it was only over 30 for an hour or two.. but in that time many millions of shares traded hands. I don't have numbers in front of my, but I believe 20-30 million shares traded hands over 30 cents.
Although we should factor all that stuff out... tough not to. I don't want to sell for less than 30 cents because it means admitting I was wrong :)
Now... obviously I was 'wrong' in the sense that of course I wish I'd sold.. i could have bought back a bunch more today... but over the long-term it's even more meaningful. It's a fallacy for sure, but I'd rather hold and lose on paper than sell and truly lose.
Hopefully we don't have to worry about that too much. Either nothing good ever happens and we never get close, or lots of good things happen and we catapult well beyond that.
GLTA
I thought they were right... Might have been the one saying it even. When we were 4 I never thought we'd go below 3, and when we were 3, I never thought we'd go below 2. I guess I've finally learned my lesson because at this point... nothing would surprise me.
One and a half cents. Never thought I'd see the day. I think G.G. has vision and I think we have potential, but man this is tough to watch.
Imagine where we'd be if Brett Rosen hadn't come along. Higher than a penny? Maybe, maybe not.
Future is bright... but so is the sun.. and it's a long way off.
GLTA
I mean... better for us long term, honestly.
All other things being equal, if one planned on holding all of this year, one would much rather see the price dip and shares go into hands of people who believe in what will happen.. Also an opportunity to pick up some cheap ones.
if the governor and AG end up being wrong, I believe the price here will end up higher than it otherwise would have been. We shall see!
GLTA
Given our circumstances.... which should we be rooting for? I know I was always in the minority on this, but I don't mind a trial... I've 'written this off' as far as seeing funds in the next year or two anyway, so the 'delay' a trial would bring doesn't seem as bad as it once did... Especially since no money would change hands with an initial judgment ( I'm sure it would be appealed) but maybe that would give us enough to get a lawyer to come on board on contingency basis.
My thinking may be off there, so I'm curious... what are you rooting for?
GL to us either way!
That's the plan! I held at 34 cents, not selling for 5.
That is based on my stubbornness mostly, but in this case I believe it lines up with what is actually the right move :)
Special Needs-- Would you still handicap this at a roughly 90-95% chance of settlement before the trial, or have changing circumstances changed your guess there.
Is it possible that the larger ones would fund case/trials/appeals to stretch this out even further?
Everyone is being pretty quiet while they're loading up. Hope it works out for you all, would much rather see shares in good hands.
Surely we hear from UL soon......
