Here's something positive to do- Give GW a piece of your mind!!!
http://www.greenwichbiosciences.com/contact-us
I agree that GW has sunk to a horrible low here. No question about it and I will be selling my shares asap.
However, Leafly had the exclusive scoop here. They called around, did a lot of DD, even called GW to get comments. That article represents a lot of hard, professional work.
What Jeff did was to read that article and regurgitate it in such a way that it makes him seem omniscient with all things MMJ. The truth is, the first person to discover what was happening was likely this reporter: http://dakotafreepress.com/2017/02/16/sb-95-cannabidiol-rule-passes-cmte-jackley-supports-gw-pharmaceuticals/
Jeff should damn well have referenced the Leafly article and also given credit to the Dakota Free Press article.
Taking credit for someone else's work for the sole purpose of making yourself look smart and informed is unethical and it's a huge Red Flag in my book.
And while I'm on this topic, why on Earth does he appear on the OWCP website above Dr. Baruch?!?
http://www.owcpharma.com/our-leadership-team/
LOL I mentioned OWCP to a very savvy investor friend and I was all "Dr Baruch this, Dr Baruch that" and the first thing my friend says back to me is why is Dr Baruch the 4th person on the bio?
I agree Camelot. I'm very conservative when estimating prices. But you'd have to be totally deaf, dumb and blind to not realize there is a Perfect Storm swirling all around $OWCP. So much is going perfectly right and the timing is simply amazing here.
IMHO the stock is going to go to dizzying levels sooner than most expect or dream.
Awesome DD Rat Fink ; )
To be approved as an index tracking fund they will have to adhere to the ratios in the Index. Otherwise, the value of the ETF won't track the Index properly. What has to happen is if you overlay the Index chart over the ETF chart they will match well. That can only happen if the ratio is identical.
$ZYNE has a ratio in the Index of .069084. So, 1 ETF will be like owning 7% of one share of ZYNE. ETFs are converted in blocks of 100 shares, so 100 MMJ ETFs converted to stocks will give you about 7 shares of ZYNE.
So, ZYNE has a much smaller float than OWCP so while it seems like it wouldn't have as great affect, it should be the same.
HOWEVER, ZYNE is already in an ETF so if you wanted to see what effect it had you could look at the date the ETF launched and take a look at ZYNE's chart in that 3 month time frame. ETF is IWC.
Thank you for the BEAUTIFUL new background picture!
He wrote that he didn't include the Canadian tickers, he used the US ones, which is what the Index does. No foul, no crime. I also thought he said the list didn't include any Canadian companies, but that's not what he said. Had to read it twice.
Anyway, WEED / TWMJF - Doesn't matter if it's the Canadian ticker or the OTC ADR ticker, same company.
Nice research! I was going to do that to attempt to calculate the ETF share price, lol, but frankly I have no interest in buying the ETF since I own all the best stocks in the Index directly.
So the creation of the ETF will require fairly small numbers of shares to be purchased UNLESS there is strong demand before the launch.
We won't see the tide raising all boats until closer to the launch, when the trust has to buy the stocks and the MMs will know that and push everything up.
What I think happened is that we got a Two-For-One in great PR on Friday. The full details of the entire OWCP crew being on hand for the Wall St. Conf AND the inclusion in the MMJ ETF.
It doesn't take long for a good trader to go through 69 tickers and figure out which ones are undervalued.
After the article in the NY Post I fully expect the buying to continue on Tuesday. If not, then something else that we don't yet know was responsible for the pop on Friday.
I agree. My average price on GW is $119 so it's made me a nice bit of coin, but I will be selling all my shares on Tuesday too.
I retired in 2013, and not from ETF Fund Managers. ; )
Really lose respect for people who regurgitate other people's hard work without giving proper and rightful credit.

Unprofessional to say the least. Pretty scummy IMHO.
The MMJ ETF will have great impact on $OWCP longer term. Short term, the biggest benefit will be all the free marketing. I'm hoping to see strong volume right off the bat Tuesday morning as people do DD on the MMJ Index over this long weekend.
Now I've looked at several of the ETFs the ETF Managers Group (http://www.etfmg.com/) has launched and they certainly have their fingers on the pulse of what's hot over the last few years.
They have GAMR, an ETF of video game developers, WSKY, an ETF of whisky companies, IPAY, an ETF of mobile payment companies, and, by far their best ETF to date, HACK, the ETF of cyber security companies.
So, if you look at GAMR and WSKY they are small ETFs, with just 250,000 and 100,000 shares outstanding, respectively.
But YYY (7,300,000 shares) and HACK (32,500,000 shares) are much more popular and I have to say I fully expect the MMJ ETF to be very, very popular too.
What does this mean for us in the next few months? I'd expect the MMJ ETF to be launched by April with at least 250,000 shares on day 1. That means the fund managers will have to purchase and hold 190,000 shares of OWCP.
But if there's interest and customers call their brokers and start asking about the upcoming ETF, we could very well see the ETF debut at 500K or even 1M shares.
So, if you have a broker, forward this article to them and ask when this will be available to purchase in your IRA or 401(k): http://nypost.com/2017/02/17/medical-marijuana-has-gone-corporate/ Get the buzz going!
LIke they did in the 2017 PowerPoint?
http://www.owcpharma.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/OWC-PPT-1-2017-FINAL.pdf
The ETF includes a host of companies that could explode in 2017:
GWPH, ZYNE, CARA, PMCB, IMLFF, APH, WEED, EMMBF, and SL are all having a great 2017.
LOL my very first post on the OWCP board on Jan 13th:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=127868710
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=128782282&txt2find=22nd|century
They tend to price their ETFs in the $20-$25 range.
I think this MMJ ETF will be successful and that will spawn more MMJ ETFs, including some actively managed ones in which will be more selective. The price of the loser stocks are pretty low so I don't see that affecting the overall value of this ETF. If you know the clinical trial schedule of several of the real MMJs you know that 2017 is going to be a stellar year for them. That will far surpass the dead weight of some of these cos.
Yes, Amazing DD Feller where are you getting all this great info LOL
; )
I've looked at the 69 stocks in the MMJ ETF and there are a ton of stinkers.
But that just plays to our advantage. OWCP will get a lot of attention as one of the big winners in the ETF over Q2 and Q3 IMHO.
Yup, it's just fantastic news about the ETF because of the timing- I expect the ETF to be trading by April. PMCB will pop when the IND is filed. People looking at the winners/losers of the MMJ ETF will see $PMCB pop and then do more research on the company. It's so awesome because MMJ is so hot right now and so you'll get accidental exposure from something deep in our pipeline.
Index tracking ETFs are not actively managed. Whatever is in the Index is in the fund. Period.
The ETF will be an index tracking ETF, and the index is called Emerging AgroSphere and is listed here:
https://www.solactive.com/?s=Emerging%20AgroSphere&index=DE000SLA1CU5
The Index includes GWPH, CARA, ZYNE and other top MMJ big board stocks. It also includes solid Canadian LPs like WEED, APH, EMC and SL. Even ancillary companies like Scotts Miracle Gro and Aero Grow are included. It is a very diverse list.
One of the best things about this is the timing absolutely couldn't be any better. I suspect the ETF will start trading in April. When traders evaluate the winners/losers of the component stocks, $OWCP's gains are going to shine and attract even more attention to the stock.
As an investor of $GWPH and a pro MMJ person I have very mixed feelings about this news:
https://www.leafly.com/news/politics/leafly-exclusive-gw-pharma-moving-cbd-bills-low
My research shows it happens pretty quickly from the time of the first SEC filing. For example, cyber security HACK, which was launched by the same managers was filed 9/2014 and started trading on 11/2014.
The Emerging AgroSphere index composition list shows the $PMCB ratio is 5.39!!!
PHARMACYTE BIOTECH INC 5.392491
That means that every single share of the new MMJ ETF contains 5.39 shares of PMCB! Boom!
The ETF Fund managers are going to have to purchase a ton of stock to hold in trust.
ETF Fund Managers have already launched 16 different ETFs. This will get approved and start trading quickly.
http://www.etfmg.com/partners/
They have filed to have the ETF match the Index, so if you want $NMUS in you should really contact the Index. Not sure how to do that, but this is the Index:
https://www.solactive.com/?s=Emerging%20AgroSphere&index=DE000SLA1CU5
Yes, Index ETFs are priced in real time, which is why they are perfect for arbitrage trading programs.
Unless they are doing pro-bono out of the kindness of their hearts, the 3 US State consulting contracts mean they are no longer pre-revenue.
Trying to wrap my head around what you're saying.
So in your mind there exists the possibility that
OWCP has been filing false 8-Ks with the SEC (hello fines and jail time!)
AND tricked Emilia, Medmar, and Michepro's lawyers into signing worthless deals and paying $300K
AND conned Ms. Sani and Dr. Rozenblat into joining the advisory board
AND threw away $100K to get up in front of a bunch of wealthy, well-connected investors to do what? a spectacular belly flop?!?
Am I following your reasoning correctly?
3 MMJ consulting contracts have been signed with US States. Awaiting disclosure of terms. Company is officially revenue generating. Check.
Psoriasis safety study in progress. Humm, is cannabis safe? Wonder if they'll pass this test, lol. Check.
Psoriasis efficacy study in progress. Humm, is it working? They probably won't have just expanded the scope of the study at the mid-point if things weren't looking perfect. Check.
Patent protection. Everything in the EPO looks good to me. Don't see why they can't launch the creams in Q2 with "patent pending" notification. https://register.epo.org/smartSearch?searchMode=smart&query=one+world+cannabis Check.
So, I'm not holding my breath wondering if OWCP is going to hit these Milestones. To me they are merely a formality.
OWCP 100% owns OWC, which is an Israeli sub doing all R&D in cannabis-friendly Israel. I've done my best to search for the studies (even tried searching in Hebrew!) and I came up with nothing. My guess is until the final patent on the topical cream delivery system is approved, we won't see the full text of the study.
This is what we do know about the IRB efficacy study:
Item 8.01 Other Events.
OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp., OTCQB: OWCP (the “Registrant”), through its wholly-owned Israeli subsidiary, One World Cannabis Ltd. (“OWC Ltd”), has been conducting study on the efficacy its proprietary cannabinoib-based topical cream for the treatment of skin conditions generally and psoriasis specifically, which commenced in November, 2016 (the “Study”).
On February 1, 2017, following the very encouraging results that have been achieved at the mid-point of the Study, the Registrant’s Board of Directors and the management and scientific personnel of OWC Ltd have determined to extend the size and scope of the Study for the purpose of, among other things, checking the biological markers that have been generated to date with respect to the treatment of psoriasis (prolife ation/ inhibition and several interleukins). Despite extending its size and scope of the Study, the Registrant expects to compete the Study within the same projected time frame.
I believe OWCP was hired by Florida to consult on their MMJ rewrite, so I'd be very surprised if FL's Dept of Health wasn't picking up travel expenses.
As for the $100K conference fee. Sounds like Jeff is representing himself and his companies as well as OWCP, so I suspect they are going 50/50 on the keynote fee.
Why would they do that? Well, I've been in that position and Llyons will have showed OWCP the list of registered attendees. Obviously there were enough high net worth individuals and deep pocketed firms registered to attend to make OWCP decide to pay up to keynote. Having institutional investors adds lots of street cred.
Interestingly enough, my guess is had OWCP known someone would be launching the MMJ ETF they may very well have opted not to bother with the keynote, and just remained a Gold or whatever level it was sponsor.
AXIM's price is where it is because they were granted a patent for CBD gum. GWPH has been chugging away for years. Standard biotech operating procedure- IPO for Millions and hope you get through phase 3 FDA before the money runs out. GWPH is using synthetic CBD, which gets around all the DEA related problems and got them the financing too.
OWCP has been working on their topical cream since 2014. Hardly "quickly" to the people who have been holding the stock since then, lol!
You have to understand that psoriasis sufferers will try any new product as soon as it hits the market. (I had eczema on my right hand for about 6 months years and years ago, and every day I encountered people who were physically repulsed when they saw the red scales on my hand. Felt like a leeper and I tried everything on the market and I saw 3 different dermatologists.)
Anyway, if you look at my post history you'll see I've discovered that there are many psoriasis sufferers with thousands of followers already watching OWCP's Twitter feed. The product isn't even out yet and people with psoriasis have already found and are following the company!
OWCP has already setup an Instagram account, which I believe will be flooded with before/after pics by Q3. There is no better marketing than viral with real before/after pics.
There are both an IRB safety and efficacy tests underway right now. Both will be done "March 2017".
Topical medications have different standards than ingested medications. OWCP can make one "IRB approved" cream to be sold OTC in drug stores and it could at the same time make another "herbal CBD" cream to be sold in health food stores. The more formulations the merrier as far as I'm concerned. I'd be very surprised if there weren't half a dozen different tubes for sale in EU, Asia and in the US in Q2.
By now hundreds, probably thousands, of experienced, knowledgeable, and wealthy New York traders have seen this article: http://nypost.com/2017/02/17/medical-marijuana-has-gone-corporate/.
And by now they have done what all good traders do and researched the 69 companies in the Emerging AgroSphere Index looking for any hidden gems.
I've gone through the list with a fine-toothed comb and I found 2 new stocks that I'll likely buy on Tuesday. That's it. IMHO, the tickers that I have listed in my signature are the cream of the MMJ crop, and smart money will come to the same conclusion.
We'll have new investors all next week, so be fast if you're hoping to buy any dips.
All IMHO. As always, do your own DD. Go $OWCP Longs!
I use my Ignore button liberally and it makes the entire site so much more enjoyable.
Yes, I think the latest 8-K showed us that they are going to immediately go after the "herbal" market with the addition of Dr. Rozenblat
On February 5, 2017, OWC Pharmaceutical Research Corp. (the "Registrant") appointed Dr. Sharon Rozenblat as a Senior Advisor to the Scientific Advisory Board of the Registrant's wholly-owned Israeli subsidiary, One World Cannabis Ltd ("OWC Israel"). In her capacity as Senior advisor, Dr. Rozenblat will oversee, supervise and bring to fruition the commercial application of OWC Israel's cannabinoid-based medical skin treatment, as she leads the completion of the study of psoriasis, which commenced in November 2016.
Dr. Rozenblat has served as an independent consultant to companied engaged in the field of research and development, principally involving herbal products for the pharmaceutical and raw materials industries. Dr. Rozenblat has also assisted companies in the convergence of science and the commercial exploitation of innovative products based on botanicals.
Dr. Rozenblat has over 15 years of experience in research and development of the study and application of herbal extracts for medical products mainly in the field of dermatology. From 2007 through 2015, Dr. Rozenblat served as the Chief Scientist at Kamedis Ltd., located in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, an herbal-based dermatological company that was founded in 1998 for development of products to treat skin conditions.
