SFOR had $363K on hand at the information cutoff date of of 3/31/17
so they could easily cover a 184K expense if it was due "yesterday". I'm amazed you know that precise date in the billing cycle for accounts payable but give you credit for it. What we don't know is the debth and breadth of the cash flow from SFOR channel partners, OEM bundling, license fees or potential settlements from 1 April to 30 June. I will keep calm and carry on until the Aug Q report reveals those figures. If others choose to panic sell that is their option.
Easy answer. Increased cash flow from the deals Mark said are to be revealed in the 2nd & 3rd Qs. Remember the phrase in the previous Q that "OEM bundling is our greatest growth area"? Payments for that increased bundling should be being made now & obvious in the next 2nd Q report to be released in July. I am completely sanguine until then. Long & strong SFOR.
When SFOR brought on R&G they mentioned their retainer. When I researched Ropes & Gray's retainer fees I came up with a range between $300K and half a million dollars! Under accounts payable a retainer fee may be entered under administrative expenses. Where as legal fees would be the appropriate catagory for invoiced hourly expenses by each lawyer. When asked how SFOR is paying R&G's high hourly rate Kay clammed up with a firm "no comment" on the details. This indicates to me that although R&G may be on contingency for legal hours, SFOR had to put some skin in the game (up to a half million dollars) for them to do that risk wise. That would have been the fiscally prudent thing for R&G to insist on. That in my opinion is why administrative expenses were over $800,000. I believe this will prove to have been a wise investment of company funds in the long run. We now have the best IP gun slingers on our side but they didn't come cheap or completely free (completely on contingency).
They could but would need the note holders permission to do that.
Agree. That statement confused people.
Agreed. Mark Kay has executed and continues to execute on every one of the prongs of his four pronged company growth plan.
They don't! They have yet to remit the nine million dollar price tag in full. There is no reflection of that payment of that in the financials.
You know as well as I they cannot massively dilute for money. SFOR must abide by the legally binding stipulations of the DART/Citgo note.
$362K is not chump change when you consider SFOR was down to its last 35K before the Phone Factor/Microsoft settlement.
That makes perfect sense to me. Apparently, SFOR and VDSI are in the end game of their chess match.
Right. Of course that 40% increase "without settlement" is completely meaningless to some on this board.
The final hour is upon us! Ask yourself this question. Do I want to be in or out of SFOR before the 10-Q is released? Choose wisely!
Madames et Monsouirs place your bets. I'm betting on SFOR!
"Only 2 known players" A 50:50 split would be nice indeed!
Agree. Please consider calling George Waller and informing him directly of these current events or leaving a mesage as I have.
Doesn't matter. I left a detailed message for George Waller.
None of us on this board are privy to inside information. We do the best DD we can on any equity we are considering investing in. Then yes, we step out on hope. No investment in equities are guarenteed. Welcome to the world's largest casino, the stock market.

IMHO you're spot on! Once SFOR patents are upheld in court the TPG CEO can go to the BOD with a straight face and say two things. The patents are valid and there is favorable legal precedent in their defense and
we (TPG) need to acquire them (before somebody else does) to augment McAfee.
Speak about a self licking ice cream cone! TPG is a triple scoop!
"Some of the companies in bold attended the webinar AND are also part of the PCI counsel" Geat connecting of the dots!
Thanks. It can't hurt and maybe just maybe...
Not yet.
Thanks! Not breaking news items. The fellow I spoke with was unaware of the issue and Waller was in a meeting at the time I left the message.
B/G Chuck Yeager USAF Ret. (an American hero) should have been arrested then for promoting Ray-O-Vac batteries then as well as all the other flag officers who trade their stars for corp. executive and lobbist jobs eh? Glad you e-mailed POTUS. The more e-mails to the WH, CIA and ODNI that include SFOR in them the better. Well done!
Ya gotta love that word from yesterday's US Patent Case Results "settled". I see it for every case you posted today!
Thanks! George Waller has a message about that also now. I thought it appropriate since the SFOR homepage recently added a point of contact for European customers.
Not the mention of the little company that has the US patent on it, SFOR. That's my bottom line. I don't even care if it is in the Appendix. I just want Strike Force Technologies Inc. in print. That attribution, in writing, would do a world of good for our little co.
As far as the 10-Q is concerned your guess is as good as mine on the figures. But I can assure you I will not be selling even if revenue is under $100K. There are too many irons in the fire catalyst wise for me to consider doing so. It looks like the R&G iron is heating up and a settlement could hapen any day. Also, with TPG in the picture I'd be stupid not to wait for even a modest buyout before moving on. Then again, I got in back with the depressed pps of Feb '16. Your situation may be different and I perfectly understand that.
Just called George Waller and left a message RE :Current HP problem and potential SFOR fix as a possible marketing/sales target.
I'm a chain of command sort of guy so as a courtesy a call should also be made to SFOR marketing and sales about it IMHO.
Get those deals huuuge, huuuge! President Trump signed a cyber security executive order for the entire Federal Government yesterday! I want MFA/OOBA to be included in his National Anti-Hacking Plan with a mention of the company that has the US patent on it. If you feel the same way please consider writing the WH, CIA and ODNI at your earliest convenience. Thank you for helping make America more cyber secure.
Thanks for easing my fears of a Trojan Horse type of keylogger. You have a brilliant idea for the SFOR marketing and sales guys about HP!
Have you called them with it yet?
"What's missing from the above technology, IT security." Which is exactly why during the Bloomberg TV interview last month the TPG partner said this year "We will be acquiring small computer software companies in the cyber security landscape." They know they have a critial defecit and will resolve it. Agree. "Our little SFT fits the bill!"
Kinda sort of. For every buyer there has been a seller. Still, it's good to see a bit of green volume.
I caught that also and it got me wondering where the HP CPUs were manufactured? Did they come complete with a keylogger? Sadly, the upshot is HP is going to probably face a class action lawsuit about this. Could HP owners downloading Guarded ID be the patch they need for this problem now? Perhaps SFOR marketing should target HP owners.
Understandbly so particularly if he had to sign an NDA.
Agreed, however I was writing about any forward looking statements or an indication as to just how SFOR's expensie legal bills are being paid & by whom.
"Weak" monetary wise right now is O.K. with me. The real gold mine is the information contained in the text.
I see your point but according to the dark side golden rule that "He who has the gold makes the rules" puts TPG in a position of strength in negotiating with an SFOR of currently modest means.
This makes me look forward to the SFOR 1st Q report even more!
Msg # 161060 resolved this once and for all. Or don't you understand just what DISA and DARPA are?
