I agree with you, I have been preaching this would drop down into the teens for months. Nobody believed me. For the longs who are getting absolutely BURNT, I pray for you that someday this might get back above 25 cents. It's looking pretty questionable.
One month ago I said "this completed Beta will not be ready for 6+ months, but we will get a crap news release update in the meantime and the stock price will fall more because people will be upset it's not done".
I've waited months to say I told ya so...
Those who short this will make a pretty penny over the next 2-3 months.
That's not going to happen. Nobody is going to buy a device that's not been tested. You also don't know the size of BETA 2.0. It's going to be too big to put in a squad car.
It's going to be 2-3 years before we even start to consider the future of a buyout. 2-3 years if EVERYTHING goes perfect and these guys hit the lotto.
That's not the right way to look at things. How long it takes to build does matter. It's indicative of the complexity of design and how successful these guys are. They have a desktop sized central FAIMS cell, that's only a small portion of the device... so in other words, add the ionizer and detector and you have a small mini-fridge. A mini-fridge after a year that they will spend 2 years doing testing on.
There's no point buying stock based on hope. You need to consider the science - with science comes timeline. This science is now being developed in a UNIVERSITY LABORATORY. SLOW TIMELINE.
Slow for development. A hundred times slower for testing.
Yes it is a 20 cent stock, however, it WAS a 35 cent stock in April or May. People here had "faith" and held and now its 20 cents. That loss on investment could have been prevented if they were open to considering the true timeline of production. It's going to be 6 months before they go to testing. It will be 2 years after testing before this becomes a lottery play. Even when they announce testing in 6 months the stock will hardly change, because it will still take 2 years and nothing is a guarantee. It might not even work even if they do build it.
This will be 20, MAYBE 30 cents for the next year at least.

his point is not that they wont make it in the end. his point is that there will be no ready breathalyzer for field testing in the next 6+ months if i recall correctly.
PRECISELY. I warned investors over the past 3 months that there shares wold devalue. They did. I warned that the timeline everyone had proposed was too short. It was. Now here we are at least 6 weeks out.
Thanks for actually listening.
No point in denying the scientific fact: when you translate the science into a meaningful form in laymans terms... you realize you are probably 6 months from having a device for testing. 2 years from being to market minimum. Also, they just put out a news release and the share price is up 1-2 cents, now you wait for 6 more months, why bother. The next news release will do the same, it's only going to say that they have the ionizer and detector hooked up. So...
---
TRANSLATION OF RECENT NEWS ARTICLE! This device won't be ready for 6+ months. Here's why. Read this through, I have dumb down everything.
Quote:Preliminary lab tests of the FAIMS device coupled with conventional quadrupole mass spectrometry
This means they have to attach their desktop sized device and FAIMS cell to a massive mass spectrometer in the lab. Which of course is not something you can take with you in a police car (and let's not forget a mass spectromter costs hundreds of thousands of dollars - per unit).
Quote:The FAIMS cell employed in this device is 4X smaller than the prior benchtop version and has a 10X reduction in power supply requirements, which allows a drastically smaller footprint.
This just says that they have developed a new FAIMS cell, the piece that goes inside the device they are hopefully going to build. The FAIMS cell is basically the piece of the device which separates the ions by charge. So.. this doesn't mean there is a breathalyzer, this just means they have one single piece of the internal components of the device they have not yet built.
Quote:The current power supply is readily configurable for ongoing testing and is designed to integrate with the non-radioactive ionization source and soon to be implemented customized detector.
This reiterates my point. They only have the FAIMS cell/power supply. The actual piece that gets the breath molecules ionized ( the ionization source) has not even been added yet. Hence the reason they needed to couple with the conventional mass spectromter in order to do so. The detector hasn't been added either, which is the piece needed to create the signature the computer reads out. That's a massive piece that's is missing. They haven't even added it to their desktop sized device yet.
The Company expects to complete a “Beta 2.0” device that will be prepared for external testing. With ongoing technical advances,
Quote:the company is rapidly reducing the size of each internal component
Re-iterates my point. The company has only got one piece of the puzzle and there are many more needed to go.
I am sure the concepts presented in this news article are too hard to understand, and hopefully this clarifies for those who don't have chemical engineering backgrounds. This is heading to 15 cents.
Pump...
They are attempting to develop a device that detects THC level in blood (the concentration) so that stats that set legal limits (in ng/mL) can use the device. They have been trying for 2 years with no luck.
The device is still the size of a refrigerator. The FAIMS cell, i.e. the desktop sized *piece* is stand alone. But that is only one piece of the eventual breathalyzer, it still needs to be hooked up to a device the size of a refrigerator to complete the testing. The piece they have developed is not a breathalyzer by itself.
Here is proof:
Preliminary lab tests of the FAIMS device coupled with conventional quadrupole mass spectrometry have shown similar levels of detection for THC standards.

Nice try Euroconversions. That isn't news. Did you even open the article. News bot. On a separate note...
"8% of it's portfolio is Cannabix with 90k shares"... is that a joke... that's nothing aha. Pretty sure many people here (including myself) **have** held WAYYYY more than that.
I say have, because I have once again sold my shares of this piece of ****.
Let me clarify now. I know everyone here so I better make myself clear. I did my dd and I think there's reasons to believe it's time to get in. So I did. I don't think this base will move. However, my opinion sticks, this device won't be ready for a while. I agree with those who have posted saying that I wouldn't want to get caught.
I've had a change of pace. I did my dd - I like some of the big bids that got filled... But that isn't all... Did the dd that everyone should do. maybe I will be wrong, I frequently am. I won't be missing out on action. changed my opinion of the base. Loaded 150k shares. Just being honest - that's the way this works. Transparency is the best policy with everyone here. Leopards don't change spots. When the time is right the time is right, no one argues that.
These guys have absolutely taken advantage of us. It's a POS stock, but that doesn't mean we can't make money off it.
I have a theory. Maybe management decided not to put any news out, knew the stock price would drop until the date these private placement shares are released, stock price drops to 18 (BLO), shares trading, then boom a week later they drop news and family cashes in.
If it happens, I'll be sick. I might have to buy back in if these shenanigans are taking place. Don't feel like getting caught diddling. Let's see how this goes.
There is some buying happening...
And I have been there with ya following the exact same philosophy! I must say though, it has only been since management has let the stock price drop a second time that I realize what's going on.
I think that they are going to watch it drop to 12-13 cents before doing so. Think about it, if they have left it this long, it's clear their intention is to let the price get as low as possible.
You don't invest based on a story, you invest based on the science, technicals and fundamentals (all of which are terrible). And if you do you DD, you will see that it is fact that the breathalyzer is NOT near ready yet.
Here we go, perhaps you picked up shares and wants this thing to start to move again.
I've been right so far. This is heading even lower boys and girls, management is taking advantage of the investors as they did last xmas.
Like Lucky said... this is literally a piece of ...the last few months have completely confirmed that (my opinion confirmed as management screws us for the second time... it's no accident).
Nope. There won't be any news for a while. Do your DD.
Cheers to playing it smart
Water under the bridge
Do you really want to know or are you like everyone else who seem to dislike my opinion...?
All I did was 3 things:
1. I did my DD by paying attention to what has happened before, and considered the how the science works and a likely timeline for development (>6 months). Made sure to remember how management absolutely wrecked share holders months ago.
2. Looked at the technicals ... which said this was heading to the teens and indeed, we are heading to the teens.
3. the fundamentals. 2 years, no revenue, no product, expenses and dilution at the expense of shareholders while management wrecks us.
AND NOBODY AGREED WITH ME!
things are so far away from heating up, in fact, quite the opposite has happened. Everyone who has held this stock has got absolutely wrecked. Thanking myself for not being one of them.
Lucky -> Some people never learn! I did.
Another week no device. And you guys didn't want to agree with me!
One thing is clear. Management pumped the stock up in the spring and have no interest in maintaining share price this summer. I said it would fall to the teens. THIS HAPPENED BEFORE!
Don't like what I have to say... But I have been right! NO DEVICE!
You all have been hesitant... oh Medchem... you're negative, the device will be here any minute. The weeks keep ticking by, and I continue to become MORE RIGHT.
You've been waiting for 2 years and there is no device. Ask them.
There is no device. Ask them. And there won't be for quite some time.
10 cents here we come. Wouldn't want to be holding this right now.
Going to be longer than that. We've been saying "another 2-3 weeks" for 2 years.
WOW. THIS IS NOT GOOD. Moving money between companies... VERY SUSPECT.
And it will be the same as the last 23. Nothing to show materially.
2 years on the roller coaster with NOTHING to show. There is literally ZERO material goods that have been shown to the public through Cannabix press release officially.
Here we are... another week with no device. Feels so similar to what happened as we moved into the new year. If the SP falls through the moving averages, look out below.
If 20 cents BLO and 17 cents BLOZF fall through on the 200d, look out BELOW! Back to 10 cents. Lest we not forget what happened last xmas.
Both companies will use FAIMS, but Breathtec has the separate NA-NOSE technology they can work on to keep investors happy. FAIMS isn't ready for either company and will take an equal amount of time to prepare in hand-held form. It's a mini-mass spec in a hand-held, only difference between companies is compound to be detected.
Cannabix is getting the short end of the stick
Another week, no device
You are also holding shares in a company that has nearly no volume on a day to day basis and you couldn't get current market value for all of your shares. BLO is heading to the teens before we see volume again.
What are you going on about...? Breathtec isn't "stealing our technology" whatsoever. NA-NOSE has nothing to do with THC detection via FAIMS. Also, the rival companies are close to moving toward clinical trials also. Do you DD and send them an email.
Agreed.
