Who said it should get approval on Wednesday? Wednesday is a conference not approval day. lol
It's already being tested in the pm. lol
Institutions, funds, and large investors. Not management.
Vericel management has no control over pps. MM does.
I've done my DD on AMRN and go by facts not guesstimates and wishful thinking.
"Robust Secondary data" is just an excuse AMRN uses to manage expectations and make investors believe that everything goes by the plan when the trial is not stopped at either interim as majority of ihub "experts" were predicting.
If it's all about secondary end points and trial goes to completion why did they insert a second interim and wasted money on it?
Btw I've been trading and following AMRN for years and made some good profits. I might jump in to ride another run up into final data release, but there's no way I'm holding through that binary event that will either make or break the company.
Finally, even if RI is successful there's a good chance AMRN will dilute to ramp up production and marketing. If you know AMRN you know how much they love to dilute while misleading investors about three options on the table.
"There is 100% probability that AMRN has a >15% RRR" - really? And how exactly you know that because only DMC has access to trial data and they did not recommend to stop the trial for overwhelming efficiency at either interim. This indicates RI results will be ok at best.
VCEL is a much safer and with greater potential stock than AMRN. IMO chances of RI being successful is 50/50. If RI fails the stock will crush instantly and never recover. Very risky.
Not to mention that AMRN, a company with a single drug and no pipeline, already trades at $1bil+ market cap.
Later this quarter not year. The type B meeting will take place this month.
Agreed. VCEL is heading much higher and soon.
I think it will move slightly higher tomorrow. But even if it falls, I'm not concerned at all. The future is bright and VCEL will be trading higher (possibly much higher with good ixcell news) in the upcoming months.
Institution have been buying VCEL for a few months already. Today was no different. Just day traders piled on top and bailed in the afternoon. Vanguard and Archon already reported increased positions in VCEL. You will see more funds reporting same in the upcoming weeks.
Day traders don't buy in 50k blocks.
It wasn't just day traders. Institutions were loading too.
Vericel burned only $2.4mil in Q2. The company will turn profitable in Q3 even without ICT payment. COH is more than sufficient. Dilution is off the table.
You need to wait for July numbers.
The stock went up because institutions have been accumulating. Institutions don't buy on analysts recommendations.
Let's don't forget the company lost $4mil in Q1 due to distributor mess up. If not for that speed bump the company would report $1mil revenue. Btw the Vericel has changed a distributor since then.
Those are estimates. Let's see what the company reports.
I expect Ixcell news anytime between now and ER next month. If management succeeds in securing accelerated approval as they discussed in the last ER CC, the sp will quadruple.
Soon.
"upfront payment, EQUITY INVESTMENT, and milestone payments"
$1mil cash, $4.5mil for 1.8 mil shares (dilution), and milestone payments (hopefully cash).
Why it's so difficult for you?
Below is from the Earnings Call Transcript. It's crystal clear. Not sure what are you arguing about.
"Ted Tenthoff
Okay, cool. So, $1 million upfront that’ll be recognized in the near-term, and then an estimated $4.5 million for the 1.8 million shares?
Nick Colangelo
Correct."
Read Q&A transcript. CEO clarified this. Vericel will receive $1mil cash and sell 1.8mil shares to ICT for $2.55/share.
$6mil upfront is $1mil cash and the rest is dilution. VCEL will be issuing 1.8mil shares at $2.55. So it's really only $1mil upfront.
I was being sarcastic.
Thanks to Obama it's illegal to be uninsured in this country.
Until either they all get wiped out overnight with partnership news announcement or as sales increase shorts will slowly but surely head to the exit.
It was posted on StockTwits first. He simply reposted it here.
Judging by the current share price they did not.
I wish he mentioned VCEL among those lines. We have a lot of hidden value here. Some exposure wouldn't hurt right now.
You will either have to wait for $1.5 or settle for $1.4 because this stock trades in 5 cent increments.
Sounds great. Appreciate your response.
Did they pay $70mil fine already?
This is just a rear opportunity to get. All gains will fade away. They always do!
This junk will never be a good buy. Just check their performance over the years. Terrible business model. They spend $2 for every $1 they make.
This whole situation with baning best contributors on the board is ridiculous. Admin should use ban as a last resort against true offenders, not people who make this board worthwhile.
If in addition to gross wages you add employer paid taxes both federal and state, labor related liability insurance, health insurance, pension plan such as 401k, paid time off, bonuses, and indirect expenses such as cell phones, car rentals, etc. You will realize that $5mil won't buy you that many employees.
But you made a good point.
