Drive the pps down, then pick up shares cheap prior to Fri. speech. Or, maybe to influence the price of a buy-out. There's every reason for this stock to rise, yet it continues to fall. Given the recent positive news, as well as the incredible potential of the science involved, TPIV stock should be rising accordingly. Go figure and go TPIV.
Aren't conspiracies prosecuted when entities enter into agreements that intentionally mislead investors? Before entering into any agreement with Kim, Notre Dame would have to be made aware of the success or failure of KBLB labs if only for legal reasons alone. You really think they would risk any further involvement with KBLB unless the university was convinced of significant success?
I mean the 800 billion dollar fund created by congress to promote job growth. If KBLB is commercially successful, the number of jobs created in america would be limited only by the degree of that success. That's assuming future manufacturing jobs would be located in the U.S. I don't know what restrictions or whatever would be demanded by the govt in return, but considering the alternative of giving millions of shares for a pittance to covering operating costs I just wondered if it had been considered.
Why hasn't KBLB received any "stimulus" money? Hasn't Kim applied for it, or was a application denied on the merits? There are many different scenarios on the future of KBLB, but unless the science or production logistics involved make it a complete failure, KBLB's impact on various industries would seem to be perfect for stimulus money related to job creation. Am I missing something?
Wagon load of money out there to be invested, investors looking for good buys. If Kim has successes he's holding back, or if he's close to a business deal, now's the time to tell the world.
Never mind the silk shirts made from kblb silk, how about the millions of other clothing products that are held together by threads that would be made inferior by a superstrong thread that would be virtually impossible to tear apart.
Scary thing is there are people agreeing with you, I've seldom read such egotistical crap in my life. Bragging of your trading wiles, while chastising those that posts that don't contain the intellectual comments that you apparently demand from fellow investors. You apparently make lots on money trading on KBLB, so why do you care when some that post here try to influence the pps, that others simply want to post their feelings? Just more chances for you to make money off the small mentality of the "herd".
This is getting crazy trying to determine what is going on. Is KBLB special in it's potential, or is it being overtaken by other entities working toward the same goal of establishing spider silk? Kim doesn't have to share on-going business dealings with us, but a reassurance that KBLB is a one-of-a-kind process that produces silk superior to those other entities would go a long way in justifying investment. These other entities seem to have no problem with presenting their discoveries and projections of what the future holds for them, but not so with Kim and the future of KBLB.
What do you think this means to KBLB?
I hate Notre Dame football! But would gladly accept them outfitted with helmets, shoulder pads, uniforms, etc. made of monster silk that would make them able to give and receive punishment while being impervious to contact injuries. Would be some kind of advertisement for KBLB!!
No one out there can reassure me that the kblb process is revolutionary and protected by patents? The silence is deafening!!
Thought patents were being processed, ensuring kblb the rights to this method of producing spider silk? If this isn't accurate then the silence from Kim is far more negative in regards to the price of shares than previously thought. Get the feeling from posts that many people have risked much of their income mainly from confidence that this process was revolutionary and protected as well. If this is not the case, then we deserve to know exactly what the facts actually consist of. The business end is one thing and I trust kblb to handle that, but patents and such are something else that should be shared with investors.
I'm a little concerned over the developments made by others with regard to silkworm production of spider silk, and how it differs from kblb. I have always been under the impression Kim had developed a heretofore unknown process that would revolutionize the way spider silk was produced, but after reading about developments at Tufts's university and others I'm not sure exactly how kblb differs to the point that it is commercially valuable. Can someone explain the patents involved that would make kblb the foremost leader in this field?
You are right on most of your comments, and if not for the involvement of Notre Dame and Wyoming universities I would never have gotten involved with KBLB to begin with. Forget about the reputations of the advisory board members, these schools know exactly what the lab work is showing and to think they would remain silent if results showed failures is not believable. Their reputations are everything to them, and I've watched carefully for some kind of report that kblb was not progressing as presented in previous press conferences. If I'm wrong, then so be it, but these schools remaining silent while knowing investors were depending on their reputations is not a sane evaluation of their total involvement.
Deal. Yeah, we're playing for more here than a penny or two a share, but over time it adds up and who knows how long this news blackout will continue.
Thanks for replying. Kim and advisers have to be aware of stock numbers, so no news is okay if you trust them to market results of lab work to the best possible advantage. If not, then sell and I'll hopefully buy more at .06!!
Always check this board for news, no one posted anything yesterday so what's up? Everybody tired of no news, or is there big news and everybody knows but me?
Saw a Jan. 16, 2011 CBS report on spider silk, featured Wyoming's Randy Lewis who spoke about his work with DNA goats, doesn't mention work with silkworms or KBLB at all. Wonder what's up with that?
Even though any corporation looking to make a deal with KBLB has to be convinced of it's viability of productivity and market uses, I still find it troubling that more interest from the business community isn't driving up the stock price. Am I missing something, or simply a fool for seeing the potential uses of spider silk that simply aren't there? I'm in for the long term and guess only time will tell.
I agree. But to what degree spider silk is viable in those markets remains to be seen, only labwork results can tell us. If those potentials are realistic and are proving so in lab, then absence of news from Kim is both understood and warranted. Imagine one company cornering the market on new plastics, or on anti-biotic sutures and bandages, etc., the business end of this is probably proving far more complicated than Kim ever realized.
What do you guys think of the total amount of outstanding shares? Gonna be a problem with price of shares?
Got a feeling once it moves up, it won't be boring anymore. There will be plenty of action and decisions to make. But, heck, that could be months.
Right on, johnie!! If investors are looking for a stock with a unlimited upside, this is it. Whether it simply provides a better silk shirt, or revolutionizes industry standards in science, manu., etc. all remains to be seen. Hopefully, the latter will be true, but regardless it will be interesting how investors buy and sell as the uses of spider silk develop.
Love it.
Yes, I realize that. Don't really care though, advisers of this quality don't get involved unless the product is real. Don't know much about the dynamics involved with silkworm production, but the presence of Notre Dame, Wyoming, and these advisers have been the reason for my investment.
Can only hope KBLB surprises the stock market like my Huskies did to his Huskers...
Boy, if Notre Dame is scamming us then money isn't going to mean anything because the end is near. LOL.
Hey, if the only use of this process is to make a durable silk shirt that will last then it's plenty worth the money to buy KBLB. All I'm saying is if Kim's dreams are realized and proven in the lab, the stock will skyrocket and the moon's the limit.
The business world has to be following Kim's work closely, dying as we are for word of how the lab work is progressing. But I would much rather he keep close eye on leaking news until he is ready to proceed, optimizing the value of any processes that might come from the work. Whatever the outcome, so be it, because this stock at this price is a chance for the small investor to realize huge gains and only a total scam or collapse in the process could cause investors to lose.
Upside of KBLB is incredible, no telling how high stock can reach if only half of the potential uses of spider silk is realized. Introducing DNA properties into silkworm production opens markets heretofore unrealized, which is probably the reason Kim is so quiet about the advances made in the lab. How would you proceed if you had this potentially revolutionary process? I would hire the best people to advise me, something that Kim has apparently done, to market the finished product to the best possible outcome for investors.
Problem is, I don't think Kim knows exactly what the finished product will be, meaning this process has so many variables as it applies to future applications that how and when to make any "deals" would only be a guess on his part. Textiles, medicine, manufacturing, etc. the potential uses are endless and depend on the success of the processes currently being introduced in the lab work. Will these discoveries revolutionize industries, we'll have to wait and see if potentials are realized. As stated, upside is incredible, future stocks could sell for .09 or 10-30-100 dollars, basically nobody knows and that includes Kim.
Bottom line, patience is the watchword if you believe in Kim.
