The low number on this one is a mystery to me as of right now. These products are going to help so many people in so many ways and the doctors are going to be lining up to get their hands on these machines, especially since insurance companies are now reimbursing for the cost of them.
The boards must be quiet because everyone is busy getting a piece of the action. PDMI is going to get bigger and more valuable as the word spreads more and more.
The new president of PDMI has a lot of international business experience, so I think that they will be looking to go international in the near future. There are many obvious advantages to going international, such as more revenue and better treatment for people that do not live in the US to get state of the art treatment for eye related diseases.
Being able to have access to such innovative and graphic tests for the eye is a wonderful asset to be able to develop the great products that PDMI has to offer to the opthamology community. I think that the developments that have been made to detect eye dieseases and correct vision is amazing. PDMI is going to be a front runner very soon, IMO.
The fact that this company is attempting to tackle such an important part of a patient's health as eyesight. Being able to try to improve such an important part of someone's life is a great way to stand out as a company in today's marketplace.
I also have to admit, it is refreshing to see a company who wants to profit off of the well being of it's consumers, not their self destruction. Whenever there are big profits to be made by a company, it is usually for something that could cause great harm or even eventual death to the consumer, but not with PDMI.
I am sure that things will be looking up very soon for PDMI. They have some of the best products available to opthamalogists in the industry and they will be helping so many people with their vision problems.
This piece of equipment is great because it not only offers the technology to detect imperfections on the cornea, but it also is easy to use so that the person using it can be able to figure out what the results mean and pass that information along to the patient.
In terms of the individual opthamologists, they would be crazy not to try to get these peoducts in their offices. IMO Having something so cutting edge and innovative would definitely make them competitive in their field and will help to get more patients into their offices.
There is going to be a lot from this company IMO. They have highly desired products that are going to help many people either see better or they will save their vision all together.
As a contact lense wearer myself, I can attest to the great products that are available out there to correct less than perfect vision. The products that PDMI is developing and getting out there on the market to help people will change many countless lives. There is new hope out there for those of us who are plagued by problems with vision.
When I get my annual eye exams, I know that they have a special piece of equipment that is able to determine if you are beginning to suffer from degenerative eye diseases, and I have always wondered how good the equipment is. In my opinion, the equipment developed by PDMI is great and I hope that I see some of these in my eye doctor's office the next time that I am in for an eye test.
This is great news! Yet another new and cutting edge piece of technology to help in proper vision care. I can't wait to see what types of equipment they will introduce next to the vision care community.
As more and more people find out about these great products, there will be a lot of buzz for PDMI. Everyone who has a piece of this will be glad that they got in when it was cheap, because this is going to skyrocket once the word gets out and these things are going to fly off the shelves of the distributors who are selling them.
The new president of this company has experience with international business and that is a great asset to this company right now. Getting these products to become available on the international level will not only bring better healthcare to people around the world but it will also greatly increase the revenue for the company.
PDMI is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the near future as the word gets out about how innovatice these products are. In the opthamologist community, PDMI is going to be a household name.
I think that the word is going to get out about these wonderful and innovative products and the sky is the limit for PDMI. Being able to provide such a great service to patients is a great way to not only be able to sleep good at night but also to create massive revenue in a short amount of time.
Being able to develop equipment that can save something that is so important to people as their eyesight is a great thing to be a part of. Having the insurance companies offer to reimburse the doctors that want to include the services that this equipment is able to provide is a great way to not only drum up business for the doctors but also to generate some revenue for PDMI.
I am sure that whatever is in store for PDMI will be very good. They have great products that will tremendously help thousands of patients who suffer from glaucoma. Whether it's early detection or treating a progressing form of glaucoma, these products are great and the news will be spreading very soon.
WIth over 100,000 glaucoma patients that have lost all of their vision and are now blind, the products that have been developed by PDMI are very important to changing the quality of life for thousands of people. Saving a patient's vision is a very important part of an opthamalogist's job.
Eyesight is important to everyone, whether or not they realize it, and PDMI is helping change the lives of many people who suffer from glaucoma. They will not only find out if they have the risk factors for glaucoma, but they can also detect and treat it sooner, and in the long run, that could mean saving their vision or helping them to see better for longer.
Being able to develop the equipment to detect glaucoma earlier and to treat the disease more effectively is beginning to pave the way for even better technology and maybe one day, a cure. PDMI has definitely found a niche in the market by developing state of the art equipment that will help doctors not only be competitive in their market, but also will help them do their jobs more effectively and save countless patient's vision.
The President is a good choice. He has a good track record and he also has experience with international business. Going international is a good way to build your business and revenue.
PDMI not only recognizes the great number of patients who suffer from glaucoma, but they have recognized a niche in the industry and have set out to be the leader in developing products that not only detect and treat this disease, but they also create products to recognize the risk factors that patients will need to be aware of so that they can better prevent the disease from progressing quickly without treatment. They should be commended on their dedication to helping patients who suffer from glaucoma.
Yes they do. I believe that products like these will help to change the way that eye diseases are detected and treated earlier and as a result, more people will be able to see better or longer.
Almost half of the people that I know over the age of 60 have glaucoma in different stages. A few of the people that I know did not go in for their annual eye exam and now they are almost completely blind. I make it a point to go in every year and have my eyes checked because my grandparents on both sides of my family have glaucoma. I do not want to lose my eyesight and I hope that these products help many more people to keep theirs too.
It has been my experience that Medicare covers the bare minimum of treatments and medical tests as possible. If they are beginning to cover this then that tells me that it is an important association that should not be ignored. This will also make it a necessity for some medical care providers to have this equipment in their offices to test and treat the eye diseases in diabetic patients.
Getting the appropriate annual eye exams consistently will go a long way in preventing and early detection of many eye diseases. I hope to see many of these products at medical facilities across the country, and even around the world. Having a piece of equipment that performs a test or treats an ailment, such as glaucoma, that others do not will make that particular facility competitive in the local market because patients will want the latest and greatest treatments and tests to stay as healthy as possible.
Genetic testing will help in early detection of so many diseases and disorder that we will know what is coming before we start to have symptoms of it. That is a great way to detect glaucoma and other diseases early enough to be able to effectively treat them. Many people will be able to say that their eyesight was saved by the great products that were developed by PDMI.
Reimbusement from insurance companies not only helps any type of medical facility obtain the equipment to diagnose and treat glaucoma and other eye diseases that cause loss of vision, but it also shows that the insurance companies think that it is important to take care of your eyes so that you do not lose your vision.
Being able to be reimbursed for such a great product to help patients preserve their eyesight is a great thing! Now even community clinics that usually have little to no funds to upgrade or acquire new medical equipment will be able to use all of these products to help treat or diagnose existing or potential eye problems. Eyesight is very important to all people, regardless of age or income and now people who have little to no insurance and must use the community clinics can get the preventative tests that these machines perform.
Their products help in early detection, which is a proactive measure. Being able to detect glaucoma early will also help to preserve more sight because a patient who would have otherwise gone blind as a result of the disease will be able to better manage it as a result of the early detection.
All of the products that PDMI has developed will lead to more people keeping more of their sight longer. The ability to see is very important to patients and their quality of life. Since most glaucoma patients are older, their ability to live independently for longer will depend on how well they can see things. I believe that these products will help thousands of people stay at home rather than be transitioned into an assistd living situation which could bring about a new set of problems for the patient, such as depression.
With the new technological advances that are either newly availabel to the patients or are in development now, there are new options for the glaucoma sufferers. I watched a video on You Tube yesterday that showed a procedure being performed to reduce the pressure that does damage to the optic nerve, it was pretty amazing.
I have known several older people with glaucoma, and I am glad that there will be a way to at least slow down the disease so that patients can keep their eyesight longer. In some cases, a patient would have gone blind and this new technology can help to preserve their eyesight, even if it means they will be able to see a few years longer than they would have been able to otherwise.
Although there are 120,000 people who are blind from glaucoma, there are many more who are suffering from it with varying degrees of blindness. This company and it's great products will help to reduce these numbers. Glaucoma is a something that has changed the lives of many people and has made their lives much more difficult. Hopefully a cure will be found one day soon so that so many people will not suffer from blindness or vision loss.
The P60 UBM not only can capture still images as well as video, but it can also save still photos to JPG format and can save videos to AVI format. Having a feature like this will not only make it easy for the images or videos to be saved, but also to be sent via email to labs for analysis or to a specialist for a diagnosis.
PDMI has some great products. I have been doing some DD all day long and I am really likng what I see. Companies that develop products that will be used in the medical field are a great industry to be involved in. No matter how the economy is doing, the medical field is one of few that will still be looking to buy the latest technology to help patients with their ailments.
With the video, there is more than one part so that if it grosses you out, you can go back later and look at the other part. It is nice to see an eye surgery, just in case I may need to undergo one some day.
I watched this video and it was very fascinating. There are many people around the world that suffer from glaucoma and it is good to see that there are companies dedicated to detecting the disease early and helping to slow the progression and possibly save the patient's vision.
