Perhaps true longs, like me, know when silence is golden (Four Season song) and hope the sour grapes will disappear.
Ah, patience has rewards for us... :)
My bag is not empty... Do you think the other posters here would prefer me to be LBSR CEO while working for nothing?
If so, I will apply ! No guarantees on drilling and revenues, of course.
Just a thought... :)
I do not believe this will happen otherwise I would sell out and make it a self-fulfilling guess. Be reassured:
1. Larry & Co. have fought against this and continue to minimize it even in the short run. They have current funding resources.
2. The emergence of disruptive technology captures an excited investing audience and makes it reach its true value to society.
3. Re-read Eco-Mikes just previous post that re-summarizes the fantastic potential of existing and future support from major outside sources that strongly mitigate against dilution. Yes !
4. Favorable JV's split revenues and profits. But what happens to pps when announcements and solid progress in that technology? It rises nicely.
My experience here says only lack of vision creates selling. If one has questions about some possibility of serious dilution, ask HQ. For me, the DD answers that question.
Glad you have done that DD :) ! Events just do not happen weekly that are worth shouting to the world, but progress happens. Dilution is NOT automatic nor a given. Much of the 10Q wording is standard SEC-compliant language. Larry has worked hard to avoid it to date.
My, how far ahead we are today than 2008-2012! Hope and faith is all we had, but ... :)
Thanks for the DD references and pictures. Lest we forget...
"I guess we'll never know since it's a secret."
Never is a long time. When important to us by SEC guidelines, we will know one way or the other... like for copper, precious metals, etc.
I have yet to find a McDonald's type of drive-through information source where all of a corporations external and internal documents are online at my beck and call. But, formally asking HQ is a place to start...
Since you asked the question and we assume you are serious, it would be appropriate to do that. Discussions here help but we can not answer everyone's questions with official answers.
I hope you begin to find your DD in that.
You misquote again. JB did not say there was any more than indications that required more research, whether REE;s, copper, precious metals, etc. I do not see that as "promotion". We can understand that clearly, why not you? That is hardly blind devotion to wait for scientific analyses. The Department of Defense does not think REE's are passe'... Like the rest of Hay Mountain resources or any other company's mining communications, indications get proven step by step until official by SEC standards. To have such information and not divulge them may be just as wrong. I do not
It IS one good purpose of this board to get information from official or original sources about the operation in question. The SEC, etc defines appropriate levels of confidence or accuracy required in order to issue a NR, PR or discuss before governments. Aspersions have been thrown as dirt here... so again, have YOU ASKED LBSR HQ in writing for such information that you claim is needed to show Jim Briscoe wrong? Do your own DD at the right source. My DD understands that corporations have valid privacy reasons for not telling the world all of its detailed plans and research results upon demand... that is unwise in a selfish society. Lack of information does not prove a point...only valid evidence does. So let us give LBSR the appropriate time to reveal all that is needed for investors. Our investor information demands are often slanted.
Do you think the whole project is invalid because of your viewpoint? Fine, do not invest then. But I prefer to see no more psychological games of slanting questions to control the conversation to get a pre-determined conclusion.
Where does it say exactly when REE mining would start? No where
But by you own admission it is identified with plans for future professional testing and that is good enough for me since that is the potential and experience is all they communicated.
By the way, you STILL have not indicated that you contacted HQ for the relevant documents or explanation. Any dog can bark and all I hear is pffftt.
Do you have evidence that that there IS no commercially viable REE's there? Of course not. Please do not insult our intelligence as if you were some expert. Questions? Fine, but wait for the answers. REE's are just a small icing on the basic metals cake here.
This much vinegar means....hmmm.
This stock has great leverage. Stocks with fat financials and nominal dividends crawl but do not run up my portfolio. I gave that up many years ago and am far ahead of that game. I choose using wisdom and am very pleased with the results. MVTG has a reasonable financial position considering their size and history... with enviable corporate sponsors and affiliates.
If I could make through 2008-2013, this is a cake walk. JMHO.
Larry & Company, I salute your hard work! Thank you...
Interesting... I do not see the need for expensive shelf financing. Alsom, Canadian Government promotion and a host of published supporters assisting help keep things going. The long term funding for commercial expansion will come from long term financing and help. MVTG has the $ they need right now. More grants are still a possibility.
It is the progress that will make the pps grow nicely as big guys see the huge potential here. The financials for now are just appropriate.

I do not see the proof that you have requested info, talked with Jim Briscoe or done any DD on REE's of LBSR territory. Until then, such talk is worth ppfffft.
I prefer to let the labs do the talking in writing by professionals and not be so superficial. I am not impressed.
There sure is a new rash of vinegar again lately just as we get closer to known plans.
I like my progress here and look forward to much more!

Yes !
No change of mind. :)
The future here looks better and better because a SOLID team is doing the needed work, not cheerleading. Having talked with Larry often in the past and meeting him personally, I like his attention to business. My tenure backs my statements.
Thanks for being here.
Irrational extremes either way are not useful. We know what we own and obviously see the progress that makes us anticipate the coming birth...
Thanks to all longs and JB & Company

Will do. Snooze away...
I am pleased with MVTG's progress on multiple fronts !
1. ERC and Lafarge project
2. Fuel Cell and Vehicle implementation
3. Research for other productive areas
4. Joint collaboration with MAJOR industrial organizations
5. Multiple world-wide patents... with USA coming.
That... is a good start (not all of the possibilities) down the road of production.
Go Larry & Company !!! (I liked his BBQ rub seasoning, too)

If one month, not bad at all. Sounds like financing and permits may just come at the same time... AIMHO
A few of us have been here many years and had to wait... but Larry & Company consistently came through. The wheels of tech progress grind slowly at times, but they are going down the track.
I like Ecclesiastes 3:11 (Old Testament)
Yes. And published attitudes like "it will drop if no major news comes soon" promotes the same effect. Some guesses are regretfully self fulfilling... for a while.
This is a good buying time for some. I KNOW what I own and just sit patiently for the good news I see progress on now.
Thanks for being here, guy !
What does the PR say? And it does say...
FYI: The Lafarge venture IS the pilot plant commercialized, first of several industries. As we get closer to implementation, it becomes easier to get funding. I expect some if it will NOT be dilution. :)
News on the fuel cell ought to be when there is a significant progress mark only. Prior PR's said it was ongoing, and I believe MVTG.

I do not pay attention to daily inferior decisions by some sellers. I know what we own!
Thanks for the easy link. I appreciate the straight-forward graphs, figures, time lines and projected industry demand.
Two thumbs up...
Right on!!! We have seen this many times over the years. Given what is coming in the next 3 months, I am pumped, confident and encouraged.

After reading and in my opinion, the are a baby stage CC of CCU. Do not know who would buy their CO2 as such. Formic acid as a profitable product with many uses is way ahead of this game and the "U" of CCU.

Since you are sick Take two ibuprofen and call JB in the morning !
Drilling is important, but one never knows in this crazy topsy-turvy financing world where the pieces may come from. The limited and unfortunate first drilling at NPSP is an example. I am for a more thorough approach with multiple parties. Just drilling and finding something is not enough for financiers to throw money at LBSR, right?
Prosper, LBSR... :)
Top of the day and top stock to you, as always. Thanks for being here!

$1 and more is great, when the market sees the documented value and pilot plant working. That has always been my comment to Larry over six years and I see the progress. No fluff, but that does not mean I am not excited about what is coming.
Thanks EcoMike for the reminders. We need that.
Amen... was there with you.
At JB's age, I am sure he is not looking forward to dark room smoky negotiations. Neither would I, though I did that 4 decades ago as business. This is no picnic when working with the ME or Asia.
There are multiple layers of funding needed over the next 10-20 years. I support the continued effort toward each knock-out punch. GLTU

No one is perfect at timing, as only one can get the top, before the next top or drop. Averaging in works fine, and you did that. Imagine those that bought at .75. I have some up and down the line and kept the faith.
I was one of the few who encouraged our CEO when the future looked bleak and ERC green was not cool. (Take from Lorreta Lynn song.) It paid off... but the real story is that ERC and the Fuel Cell tech is true and worthy of our support... all the way to green implementation.
Thanks for being here!
SPS50 6 years smiling...
You forgot to mention all the days it up nicely, and the potential is still the same. It is right there, again.
:) :) :)
Perhaps we should be pleased for cheap shares for a while. Lot's of people have no vision.
Vendor shares usually get locked up for a year or more. I am glad for the consistent progress.
Mantra Announces Allowance of Canadian Patent

Mantra Announces Allowance of Canadian Patent
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sep 16, 2014) - Mantra Venture Group Ltd. (OTCQB:MVTG) and its subsidiary, Mantra Energy Alternatives Ltd., have announced the allowance of the Canadian patent "Continuous Co-Current Electrochemical Reduction of Carbon Dioxide". The patent covers Mantra's innovative ERC process, which converts the polluting gas carbon dioxide into high value chemicals and fuels. Similar patents have been granted in China, Australia, and India.
"The timing of this news could not be better, as we are preparing to launch our pilot unit in Canada in the coming months," said CEO Larry Kristof. "This granted patent will serve as the basis for a great deal of additional intellectual property generated from the pilot."
Mantra's pilot plant, for the conversion of carbon dioxide to formate salts and formic acid, will be operating on the site of the Lafarge cement plant in Richmond, B.C., early next year. This will be the world's first demonstration of electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction in an industrial setting, and will pave the way for the first commercial installations.
"This patent, like the others already granted, is quite comprehensive," said Patrick Dodd, Mantra's VP of Corporate Development. "It broadly covers the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide, which is being increasingly recognized as a critical future technology."
Mr. Dodd has just completed a government supported trade mission with Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters (CME) to the UK automotive sector, where he was marketing Mantra's fuel cell, the MRFC. This trip to the UK included the continuation of collaborative development efforts with leading experts in the country, where clean energy technology is becoming increasingly mandated.
Mr. Dodd will meet Mr. Kristof, who is currently participating in the Consulate General's CTA CleanTech program in New York, in Germany in the coming week. A combination of working with project collaborators, expanding ongoing relationships, and meeting investors will take them to Berlin, Munich, Zurich, and Vienna.
About Mantra Venture Group
In my opinion and experience, share financing and a JV split of profits can amount to the same thing. In one, we maintain control. In the other, we lose some control and profit, but hopefully get some risk spread and cash flow. Depends on the negotiation.
Remember that the 10K in this area is a stated plan in lieu of a concrete contract with one or more "partners" of any definition. Larry & Co. for some time have been strategically working on ventures that will bring in advance licensing and funding (like grant(s) just announced in promotions). They just can not put that in writing in a 10K without it being fully completed.
I believe funding will come that will minimize the use of more shares. But if it runs pas $5 pps, that may not matter so much.
Just a thought and I too like the revenue. More to come from BC.

Nice... more exposure and promo by an outside influential group at their expense. Win-Win :)
